This giant luminarium, an inflatable interactive sculpture, is a maze of inter linking tunnels and open ‘dodecadomes’ filled with wild dancing colours which blend, fuse and alter as the sun comes and goes outside the structure. The luminosity of light and color inside Mirazozo is created purely by sun light shining through colored vinyl. The floor is also reflective.
“The starting point for a design is its footprint - the layout that will afford maximum mystery and discovery when travelling through the structure.”
All the individual pieces have been cut and glued together by hand in the artist’s workshop in England. It was completed in 2010 and has been on exhibition all over the world.
