infernal debate

  • Will: Who broke the tea pot? I'm not mad, I just want to know.
  • Cordelia: I did. I broke it.
  • Will: No. No you didn't. Lucie?
  • Lucie: Don't look at me. Look at James.
  • James: What?! I didn't break it.
  • Lucie: Oh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken?
  • James: Because it's sitting right in front of us and its broken!
  • Lucie: Suspicious.
  • James: No it's not!
  • Alastair: If it matters, probably not, but Matthew was the last one to use it.
  • Matthew: Liar! I don't even drink that crap!
  • Alastair: Oh really? Than what were you doing by the tea cart earlier?
  • Matthew: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that Carstairs!
  • Cordelia: Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it Mr. Herondale.
  • Will: No! Who broke it?
  • James: Dad... Anna has been awfully quiet.
  • Anna: REALLY!?!
  • [Everyone starts fighting]
  • Will: [Later] I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it. I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. It was getting a little too chummy around here.
About the shooting script

I’ve seen a couple of posts discussing the shooting script from 4.14. The one implies that Emma spent the night with Killian. Is it technically canon? No. But what that script tells me is that they probably meant for the audience to infer that Emma and Killian were approaching that level of intimacy at that point in the show. It probably got cut for time.

I’ve never thought there was some grand conspiracy or that they’ve been holding back on the first time just to fuck with us. The show has SO MUCH plot that there just hasn’t been time to show such a scene. And LBR, there are more important CS milestones to explore. Have we seen the first time for any of the other couples? Snowing? Nope. RB? Nope. OQ? MAYBE. I just don’t think it’s the big deal the fandom is making it out to be. I want some scene that confirms it once and for all, but I have zero problem believing that two attractive people in a committed relationship found time to get it on by now. If you want to believe otherwise, hold out hope that we’ll see their first time, that’s fine. Both sides have valid arguments. if you don’t want to think about it all, that’s fine too. Whether or not they’ve had sex doesn’t define their relationship, make it more or less valid.

Personally, their body language and chemistry screams that they’ve known each other biblically. I don’t need to see the “first time” to know it’s happened. I just want them to get what all the other couples have gotten, which is a post coital scene so this infernal debate can stop and poor @has-captain-swan-banged-yet can rejoice. ;)
