“I hope that it’s only a matter of time before Disney decides that it’s time to look to India for our next princess. Indian culture is sooo beautiful, from the traditional clothing, to the styles of music, to the different dance forms, to the various languages, and everything in between. The animation, the visuals, the soundtrack, the score;I can just envision how incredible everything could be. Make it happen, Disney!”

Vasant Panchami or the beginning of the spring season is on the 5th day of the waxing moon of Magh i.e. 12 February 2016 and is celebrated in the Northern part of India.

The colour yellow is associated with the day, be it clothes or rice coloured with saffron.

Also the day for worshipping Saraswati in some parts of the country e.g. Bengal. And in days past the day for a festival in honour of Kamadeva aka the God of Love, though the celebration shifted with time from April to the beginning of spring and is no longer celebrated.

Regrow Your Teeth
Dr. Jeremy Mao, the Edward V. Zegarelli Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, spearheaded the research leading to the discovery of this awesome new grow-your-own-tooth technology. He has created a “scaffolding” for lost teeth that contains the body’s own stem cells, allowing for the regrowth of your own teeth, using your own DNA. This technology is the first of its kind, and offers exciting prospects for the future of dental care.

Here are some of the issues with dental implants:

– Dental implants are expensive.
– Dental implants run the risk of being rejected by the body as a foreign object.
– The implant may fail to fuse together properly with the jawbone.
– An infection of the gum and/or the bone around the implant. In many cases the implant must be removed.
– An inexperienced dentist can cause damage to the tissue surrounding the implant, specifically the nerves around the area.

The Benefits of Regrowing your Own Teeth

Rather than going through the lengthy process of tooth extraction and implantation—which can take the better part of a year to fully recover from—this technology allows you to grow your own natural new tooth in only 9 weeks – a fraction of the time it takes for an implant to be placed and accepted by the body as a stand-in for a tooth.

It is also a natural technology, and involves no foreign materials to replace the lost tooth.

Your body’s own stem cells go to the scaffolding and replace the tooth that was lost, and the new tooth merges with the surrounding tissue—it’s that simple, and that natural. This procedure also eliminates the need to regrow the tooth in a Petri dish and results in faster recovery time

Hallo, the washing laptop scene is from a Hindi TV serial called Saath Nibhaana Saathiya :) as you can probably tell from the scene, the woman is just trying her best to be a Good Wife and support her husband. So... laptop washing? (This is actually not that shocking a scene because Indian serials are NOTORIOUS for being ridiculously overdramatic and over the top.)

BASICALLY, Indian TV serials aren’t that different from Korean dramas because of how ridiculous they are. (I’m Indian, and I have relatives who regularly watch Korean dramas in addition to serials like this.) Bollywood movies are TAME compared to these.

Thank you for the info HAHA. I just realised I did queue this post before and somebody else also answered it lol.

I feel like I should get into more Indian serials lmao. I used to watch a few when I was younger (they had English subtitles) and they were strangely addictive the same way K-dramas are. Like, it’s so melodramatic and sometimes you just groan at the cliches but you HAVE to find out what happens next.
