Happy 18th Birthday Camila! This is quite a milestone of a birthday and I can’t help but be a little emotional. These past 2.5 years, I’ve seen you grow from an uncertain girl to a mature, confident young woman and I couldn’t be more proud. I have a couple hopes/wishes for you this 18th year of your life. Laugh often - there’s nothing a good throw your head back kind of laugh can’t cure. Laughter is the best medicine, “the sun that drives winter from the human face.” I hope laughter brings an abundance of warmth and goodness into your life the way you’ve brought warmth and goodness into mine. Love much - love life and all that it has to offer, love what you do (both professionally and personally), love those around you, and MOST importantly, love yourself and be proud of the young woman you’ve become. There’s only one you in this world…she is beautiful inside and out and pretty darn incredible. Another year means time to learn about yourself, time to grow, and time to make new memories. I hope this year is nothing short of phenomenal and that it brings you all the happiness you deserve.

Not many know a story behind a smile on Jim’s face.

But Sebastian once told him „The best birthday present I ever got from my grandpa was a silk tie. It didn’t come in a bag, a box, or even rolled up in tissue paper. It came wrapped in wisdom. As soon as he gave it to me he said, “A tie would make a stronger impression on your boss if you used it as a blindfold and kidnapped him. That‘s why I bought you one.”

I’m coming to get you, baby.
