What are the best drugstore lengthening mascaras? I have medium length lashes, but are very straight and need length! ):

Look for mascaras with thin brushes… don’t go for the fat brushes.  If you apply mascara correctly, no matter what type of lashes you have, mascaras with thin to medium thick brushes will give you both incredible volume and length.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto

Maybelline Illegal Lengths

L'Oreal Telescopic

Covergirl LashBlast Length

What is the best drugstore mineral makeup?

Physician’s Formula is definitely the best inexpensive brand for minerals that’s not an underground, impossible-to-find company.  Theirs are much more natural than others (like L'Oreal, Maybelline, etc) and work like a dream!

The selection of mineral products is really large.  Check ‘em out!  It’s one of my favorite brands overall :)

what in your opinion is the best drugstore lipstain?

My favorites are Revlon’s Just Bitten.

The colors are vibrant and they don’t dry out your lips!  They also come double sided - one is the stain, and the other is a “gloss balm” that keeps your lips moisturized and allows for multiple finishes.

I’ve reviewed them on my + Review page!

And I’ve compared them to other popular drugstore lipstains *here*!

What are your thoughts on clinique makeup?

I like Clinique as a whole.  Their makeup is great for people with sensitive skin!  However never get suckered into makeup that will supposedly “clear” or “even out” your skin, because most often these won’t work.  (To fix your skin, the answer lies in skincare products, not makeup!  Makeup never makes skin better.)

Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup - $26

Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer - $26

However I do still enjoy the formulas and finishes of their foundations - most are very moisturizing, and are great for people with normal to dry skin.

I haven’t meddled in the other products Clinique offers really, except for the Chubby Sticks Lipcolor - with which I was not blown away by, but do enjoy.  These last longer than I had originally thought, and although they don’t taste good, the moisture factor is fairly nice.
