California-Nevada-Hawaii District Key Club

Despite what anyone says, becoming Division 36 East Lieutenant Governor back in 2010-2011 was one of the proudest and best moments of my life. I will be 67 years old, and I will look back at all the progress I made for my division. All the clubs went from no awards to being able to get Early Bird and all On Time Monthly Report Forms. Every club had increased attendance to Division Council Meetings and Fall Rally, increased membership, increased funds, and best of all, increased dedication to service and Key Club. I made our little area become known to even people in Jamaica! I was able to become a Distinguished Lieutenant Governor. I was honored with the international Robert F. Lucas award. My name is in Kiwanis HQ for “Most Improved Division.” I gave my life for this amazing organization.

I built an affinity with members from all of the world in both Key Club International and Kiwanis International. They were all family to me. I love my Kiwanis club and all the things they did for me. To this day I have no idea how I can fully thank them for all the support they gave me. Senior year in high school was tough for me, but I always had my K family there. They were the people I knew I could always count on. I love them, and I will always love them. Even when we do not speak for years, I know that I can always call them up and they will always be there.

I have not seen many of my fellow IncrediBEES in a couple of years now. I really miss them. It’s great that after 2 years, we still want to check up on each other and see how everyone is doing. I want a reunion again. We’re all older now, and we have branched out doing new things in our lives. I want to see everyone and see how everyone has grown. College has changed all of us.

Despite the changes, IncrediBEES forever. Key Club will always be in my heart, and Kiwanis is still giving me support.

Approximately a year ago

My Division 38 West Distinguished E-Portfolio has been located and I am in possession of it.

Looking through my reflections, I find the final page of my distinguished binder. When I wrote this, I knew that I still had a month until the end of my term, and a year until the “end” of Key Club for me, and knew that whether I got distinguished or not, I knew that my tenure as a Lieutenant Governor wouldn’t just be a huge regret or disappointment.

those were the good ol’ days.

IncrediBEES

I never really got to express how I really feel about Key Club as a has been (LOL). I am thankful for every moment I had in Key Club. I have met the most amazing people in Key Club. I have shared many ups and downs with those in Key Club. The Kiwanis family has just been my biggest supporters. I have never been in a group that just gave me this pure family feeling. To some I may be dramatizing it but they have been that second family that just stuck together. I really do love everyone on the 2010-2011 IncrediBEES. No matter what people hear or whatever, we were tight. We are a family. I miss them so much. After DCON ended it was just weird. I know there are people still continuing talking to each other but I feel like there is a hole in my heart because we may never be together as a District Board.

I love my IncrediBEES and they will always be in my mind for the rest of my life.

I made this one myself.

We have a lot of stories with/about/of each other. We’ve probably clocked more webcam hours than anyone both of us know. We’re proof that DB friendships don’t just end when at DCON.

she really deserves a lot more than a quick three sentences, but meh. she knows. and she’ll probably never see this since i lost her tumblr password and whatnot.

I must be nearing my period time.

I’m feeling really emotional about my friends. I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really miss them. I miss my Key Club friends the most. My second family. The people who I often thought of in my last year of high school. Who I wish for the best in life, even if we may never see each other again. My heart goes out to them. I think of them. I will always have this sense of loyalty to my IncrediBees.
