How to represent air in witchcraft

  • play music
  • use smoke (from incence, candles, or simply burning wood and waving it around)
  • use feathers
  • work with fallen leaves (especially in autumn)
  • butterflies (sometimes you can find dead butterflies or dragonflies outside)
  • use dandelion
  • use a fan or ventilator
  • spray perfume or glitter
  • blow bubbles (this is probably my favorite because it’s so easy and effortless and looks just magical)
Saje Magic

Saje herbal/witchy correspondences

If you haven’t already discovered the store Saje, then I urge you to go and check them out. You will become as obsessed as I am. They are quite pricey however they do not test their products on animals, they don’t use any synthetics, they are all plant based if not organic to a degree or offer some organic incentives like their Chrismints. 100% natural and uses recycled bottles and materials to make their packaging/oil bottles, they are an amazing brand and company. They offer a variety of products: aroma therapy diffusers and nebulizers, essential oils and diffuser blends made from herbs and flowers. Soaps, body and face care, teas, candles, natural remedies, and even jewelry! Saje promotes natural wellness which is essential and good vibes to put out in the world but this store is also a witches wet dream. I was thinking about all the different blends and remedies and how they are basically herbs and flowers, not only with healing and therapeutic intentions, they hold magical ones as well. Ritual baths, teas and potions, candles with herbal correspondences great for spell work and meditation. They’re perfumes and some candles even come with or are made using gemstones😍 Oils for anointing, spells, potions, ritual baths, extra magic used by diffuser/nebulizer (using the elements of water and air?) there are endless uses and possibilities and I apologize if I cannot cover them all. This post is a good starting point but I urge you to be creative and use your knowledge of correspondences to incorporate Saje (and your love for it) in your magical work.

So if you are like me and pondered at ways to take your use of Saje oils to a higher purpose, in craft, then this post is for you. I have listed each blends ingredients and purposes and aligned them with their magical correspondence and possible magical uses. If you have any questions or if I didn’t list one that you may have, feel free to comment or message me and request a blend/essential oil.

If your in the Broom Closet or in a uni or other such places, you may not be able to burn things or buy things online, so here are some substitutes:

Smudging: Burning things in my house is just impossible, so instead it is possible to use Bells

Cauldron: you don’t need a fancy cauldron, just a bowl will do but if your going to burn something in it make sure it’s suitable

Incense: If you can burn but have no incense or incense burner then perhaps a scented candle. If you can’t burn than a fragrance diffuser or scented water ought to do

Athame: A wand can also be used to direct energy and so be used in place of an athame, or perhaps just a knife from the cutlery draw (Butter knifes are blunt and so would be the best to use here)

Candles: Well this one is debatable, some would say no candles are fine, but if you really want a light source then a small dim lamp or night light will be fine.

so here’s how it went down you guys

this really really really awesome, beautiful girl went to my school with me a couple grades ahead of me, and it was one of those “she had a bf, i consider her out of my league, etc etc” things, so we just glanced at either a lot

eventually through a friend on, her last year there, we became friends.
we even got a class together (she had to take algebra 2 with a bunch of other seniors lol),
we’ve never gotten to hang out much, but we did here at my place on my birthday last year (making this the one day late anniversary of that time)

but today was different, our conversation went places I’ve held deep in my innermost thoughts; our words flowed as I’ve only read and dreamt about. It turns out we have more than a lot in common, and we spent the evening at one of her favorite witch/wicca/spiritual shops, where I raided the incense section lol.
then we pulled through taco bell , where she showed me her tattoo that I’m literally in love with; I would get it on my own body, on a large portion of it lol.
We talked beliefs, sex, the universe, like I never have before,
got back to my place and burned Palo Santo wood (which I heard of from the rolling stones Mumford article in which Marcus swears by it’s headache relief), discussed our numbers and spirit animals, and read her book about them (she’s a fox, I’m a deer).

then we literally sat together and watched season 1 of supernatural, during which i wouldn’t shut up about how they’re babies there and how phenomenal the early episodes are and I kinda blew a few surprises lol

and slowly we sat closer, our conversation grew intimate and reminiscent and confessional, i fumbled with words as we started holding hands, and it all swept beautifully finally into a kiss

the rest is just for us lol.

of course there’s countless more beautiful details, but i wrote just enough to give you guys the gist of how much I like this girl, and how wonderfully “overwhelming” it was to be intimate with her lol (neither of us could stop saying “overwhelming” or “i’m so dead” or “I never thought ___”)

but there’s one last bit of information that bears mentioning…

she has only about a month here before she moves to New York for school and a fresh start.
everything we do now is just to enjoy wonderful company as much as we can before we can’t.

sure it sucks that it has to end, but it would be truly sucky if we left all this to wonder instead of experiencing it while we can.

you’re probably the only one who read anywhere near this far, so this is for you:

“many people are going to come into your life. more often than not they won’t stay forever, but you’ll bounce off of eachother, learn more about yourself, grow a lot, and gain some really great memories”

let’s not hold back to save ourselves possible pain, let’s get as much of eachother as we can, for our own sakes
