in which i edit stuff at night

3

On 25th March, 1989, Jeffrey Dahmer met two men outside a bar called La Cage, a white man by the name of Jeffrey Connor, and a 24 year old black man named Anthony Sears (pictured above). It was Sears who made the approach. His friend overheard him ask Dahmer if he had any coke, to which he replied that he had some rum as well. ‘No’,said Anthony, ‘I mean cocaine!’. After a while Jeff invited him to spend the night, Anthony eagerly agreed and Connor drove them both to the corner of 56th Street and Lincoln, in West Allis, on the way in the car Anthony unzipped Jeff’s trousers and started giving him a blow job, Dahmer said ‘it was a surprise. I didn’t think he was that anxious’, from there they walked to Catherine Dahmer’s (Jeff’s grandmother’s) house, where Jeff murdered him. His skull, scalp and genitals were discovered in Jeffrey’s apartment at the time of his arrest over two years later. Jeff said he strangled Anthony with his bare hands ‘because he was special’.

this looks really darn good  so a quick tale so i was messing around with lunapic which can edit stuff so i decided to try the starry night edit for for the swapfell bros house because why not and my god it looks reallly beautiful it makes raindin look actually like a good place to live despite it being a place of sadness (i may test other swapfell pictures i posted in some styles)

Once Upon A Dream - Chapter 6: You’re Mine {Edited}

A/N: I hope everyone is enjoying the story so far!!! I decided to add some things in, since there was a gap between when Hayley and Fergal went out on their date and when he asked her to make it official. I wanted to add some stuff in, because my ex was NOTORIOUS for leaving giant gaps and holes in SL’s, which left them unfinished. It annoyed me so damn much, because he left me to do all the work. Also, I figured that I would edit this chapter, since I left out mentions of their sexual encounter and the bruise that would have been left on Fergal’s neck from Hayley biting him

Wheatley! Please tell me how good Night in the Woods was! I literally only learnt about it last night when I saw it on your blog but now I think I really want it

EDIT: SO ALRIGHT THIS IS BASICALLY A WHEATLEY-REVIEWS SO I HOPE YOU DON’T MIND IF I JUST

WHEATLEY REVIEWS: NIGHT IN THE WOODS

IT’S SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD LIKE DAMN

THE STORY IS SUPER DUPER ENGAGING AND I’M SURE THERE’S MULTIPLE ENDINGS IF NOT MULTIPLE OUTCOMES THROUGHOUT THE STORY BECAUSE YOU CAN MAKE CHOICES IN THE GAME

THERE’S A LOT OF NEAT STUFF IN BETWEEN THE SUPER MEATY STORY PARTS LIKE BAND PRACTICE (WHICH I WISH I DIDN’T SUCK AT BECAUSE THE SONGS ARE FUCKING BANGIN’) AND DEMONTOWER (A COOL RETRO-STYLE DUNGEON CRAWLER, I DIDN’T PLAY IT MUCH CUZ I WANTED TO GET BACK TO THE ACTUAL GAME BUT IT LOOKS SUPER DEEP AND FLESHED OUT, A GAME IN A GAME IF I’VE EVER SEEN ONE)

REALLY SUPERB SOUNDTRACK, REALLY FITS THE WORLD I THINK, REALLY GAVE ME THAT COZY AUTUMN FEELING, I REALLY WISH I COULD BUY IT BECAUSE I TOTALLY WOULD

LOTS OF FLAVOR TEXT THAT REALLY HELPS WITH WORLD BUILDING AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND I’M SURE TALKING TO SOME PEOPLE VS. NOT PRODUCES DIFFERENT OUTCOMES AS WELL, ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THAT IS NOT EVERYTHING IS RELEVANT TO THE STORY BUT INSTEAD RELEVANT TO THE WORLD AND PEOPLE IN IT WHICH LIKE I SAID DEFINITELY HELPS IMMERSE YOU

I THINK IT PICKS UP PRETTY SLOWLY BUT I GOT SO ENGAGED IN THE STORY, WORLD, AND CHARACTERS I DIDN’T NOTICE

MAE IS AN ABSOLUTELY LOVABLE AND RELATEABLE CHARACTER (AT LEAST I REALLY RELATED TO HER) AND HER STORY REALLY HIT CLOSE TO HOME FOR ME AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH

I ACTUALLY FEEL FOR THESE CHARACTERS, I CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM AND I LOVE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY

DEFINITELY A STORY YOU HAVE TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO OTHERWISE IT’S SUPER EASY TO GET LOST LIKE I DID KINDA TOWARDS THE END, BUT THE REPLAYABILITY IN THE DIFFERENT CHOICES YOU CAN MAKE THROUGHOUT THE STORY WILL DEFINITELY HAVE ME PLAYING AGAIN AND AGAIN SO I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE  MORE CHANCES FOR A NEW EXPERIENCE BUT ALSO TO GO OVER THE STORY AGAIN SO I CAN BETTER UNDERSTAND IT

NIGHT IN THE WOODS EARNS A 100/10 FOR $20 YOU GET ALL THIS SHIT???????? HELL FUCKING YEAH MY DUDES GOTY AT LEAST FOR ME PERSONALLY I KNOW IT’S ONLY FEBRUARY BUT FUCK IT THIS IS IT

I’ve made two Valentine’s mood boards/photosets for Joeck which are pretty (very) extra 😅😅😅

They are scheduled to go up shortly after midnight whilst I am at work on a night shift. I hope you love them and thanks so much for following this blog, you lovely lot ❤

Featuring

  • a lot of angsty Adrien
  • accidental cuddling
  • intentional cuddling
  • a painfully drawn out reveal (50 000 words and counting!)
  • some Agreste family dynamics
  • eventual Kwami-swapping
  • a little bit of fake-dating
  • a lot of invented stuff about the fashion industry
  • seven month hiatuses between updates … wait no, that hopefully won’t happen again

New updates:

Chapter 28: The Need for a Distraction

Chapter 29: The Sound in the Hall

(plus some minor edits notably in Chapter 12 which were necessary to set up things that are about to happen)

also low-key shout out to @hchano and @littleblackchat because I stayed up far later than I should have in their livestream last night and weirdly Hchano talking drunkenly about dicks and drawing kisses helped kickstart my brain back into thinking about this fandom which led to me spending all day today ass deep in this story for the first time in MONTHS. So thanks for that.

Stepbrother AU scene - Malec

Hey, remember this AU-idea?

Well, I have these scenes that have to get out of my head and I haven’t eaten enough because I’m trying out fasting for the first time and I might regret it and there are still six days to go … I just really needed something to get my mind off food. And I promised myself to practice writing ‘steamier stuff’. And then this got kind of out of hand. And I’ll go hiding under a rock now, good day … or night. II’ll just go and get some sleep.

Not edited. (Because I am lazy and hungry.)

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert - Aaron Tveit 10th June 2016

“Oh, no, [aliens are] scary! I made the mistake of watching Fire in the Sky when I was a kid…so basically for the three or four years after I saw this movie I thought I was gonna get abducted by aliens every night when I went to bed. And I used to actually sleep with my baseball bat right next to my bed, just in case. ‘Cause some part of me thought: an alien species that has technology to come to Earth was gonna be deterred by my baseball bat - which, you know, probably wasn’t the best line of thinking.”

Lots of interesting stuff in his late-night talk-show debut…! In addition to his fear of aliens, Aaron discusses being at the Tonys, BrainDead, and how he “might have” broken the law bartending alongside waiting tables at “20, 21.”

*We’ve swapped out our original video for the official full interview later uploaded by the Late Show YouTube - please watch the official video for viewcount! The only exclusions are the last handshake and soundless zoom-out where Colbert asks about his suit, which we’ve gif’d for viewing here.

It’s Oct. 1, two days before the season’s first Saturday Night Live goes on air. Guest host Miley Cyrus is rehearsing, rumors are flying that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is going to be on the show — and executive producer Lorne Michaels is in his office overlooking studio 8H, worrying.

“I’m worried about three different film shoots which are going on, I’m worried about some new [Weekend] Update stuff in terms of its set, and how it looks,” he says. “I’m worried about how various cast members will perform. And also I’m always worried about length, just how long we’re going to be and what I’m going to have to cut to make it work — ‘cause sometimes you cut internally [in a sketch] and pick up pace, and sometimes it’s just a bloodbath.

"It is a long list. These are the things that keep you up at night — but fortunately I work at night, so it’s not so bad.”

The first show back is always hard, Michaels told Morning Edition host David Greene.

Here’s my book haul for the last few weeks. It’s large. Folks are dropping off books left and right (an add post-holiday thing that happens every year) and there’s some great stuff. The first photo is, for me, the most delightful. I got some less familiar Russian material and some good snooty Continental writing. The Ficciones is going to replace my battered copy. Manuscripts Don’t Burn is going right onto my TBR pile. That pile also includes a new edition of Lynd Ward’s collected woodcut novels, with a great introduction from Art Spiegelman.

The rest are a very mixed bag, from graphic novels to anarchism. This year I am going to try to read back some more, and read a greater variety of categories and genres. I’ve made a stack of poetry on my night stand for bedtime read; I’m nearly done with Le Guin’s new collection which, as with her last one, I am a bit uncertain about.

There’s not much in the way of rare stuff this time, I got the copy of Conklin’s Onmibus for free off my store’s $1 cart, and grabbed even though it did not have a jacket. About a week later someone sold us a few bins of odds and ends and there was a stack of jackets in one box and what did I find but a jacket for the book! That happens very rarely but it made me smile.
