Nicole Haught’s Expressions

I was thinking about this post for a few days now and I decided to write it. Watching again Forever mine nevermind (2x09) I noticed the micro expressions in Nicole’s face and I really loved it.
I’ve always knowing that a good actor has to be capable to express all the feelings, or the majority of them, in their face. Our expressions are the more powerful weapon that we have as humans and the best part of us to comunicate, so an actor, good actor has to be able to do that in a hundred per cent.
And Kat Barrell have that ability in a very interesting way.

Here, when she talk with Waverly about the DNA results and argue, we can see that ability.
That fast spark that starts with anger, pass to a sad smile, and end in almost tears is very interesting to see and it’s very touching.
Considering that the girl have big and round eyes I think that is not too difficult to show different emotions and that is a great detail that she can show it.

The other scene with that spark was when Waverly leave the police station with a Nicole almost crying. (I only can imagine the time she spent at home crying alone with Calamity Jane in her arms … I will not continue because only with imagine it, makes me sad :()

Nicole is strong enough to hold back the tears but we all know what happened in the next episode, Nicole becomes in real kicked puppy and I only can scream to the screen to Waverly: Kiss her, kiss her, kiss her… please Waverly give to your love all the kisses!!!
That was insane. My second fav epi ever.
I love that she can do that in that way because we can see Nicole’s feelings in very intime way and that is exciting.
And that is another motive for me here. The last image where Tim Rozon shows Kat Barrell in Africa.
Is a good image but I don’t know why I don’t like it so much. Maybe is my imagination but I could see Kat very different. Almost sad. Her smile forced. I don’t know, maybe she was tired but I can’t help to have the feeling that she looked strange in that picture.
Maybe is just my head. Nevermind.

Good for her histrionics skills. I hope to see more of that in her next movie but also in the next season of Wynonna Earp.
