need to hold you (27) p: bringing up the hands to cup the other person’s face while kissing
ever since you met taehyung, you came by the water more than you usually would. apart from the cooling welcome of the waves that made space for you to enter, his arms of a safety net comes around you. your feet anticipates the soft surface of his tail, before allowing him to stable your weight but he always does it so effortlessly.
“been waiting for you,” he mumbles under his breath, gently guiding you backwards until you feel the surface of the rock greets your back. it doesn’t hurt, however. it’s… pleasant. a bit rough but when it’s been underwater since god knows when it’s not so bad with taehyung’s touch.
“yeah?” you muse, tilting your chin up to brush the tip of your noses together, making him groan.
he leans in and rather than seeing it, you feel it first. his breath hitting your lips as he exhales, the movement of his lips affecting the way the air enters your lungs; everything he does magnifies twice as much being in the same world as him - even if it’s just for a moment.
his lips press against yours just as your hands find leverage on his shoulders, squeezing them like how he puts pressure on your hips. you let him take the lead as he sets a slow, gentle pace. you can feel his smile, you can taste it on his tongue, you let it consume you and shake you to your bones as he hums with his every being of loving you and only you - you smile.
it grows bigger than your heart does when you feel his hands gliding up your sides to reach your face. icy cold dots turn into strokes before his palm warms up against your skin with his lips pressing harder to imprint his love on you. locked fingers by the nape of his neck, a metronome ticking on his skin as your nails trace the veins embedded within, he shudders. because every detail and movement you do, he realizes and he takes it into consideration to feel it all at once and it’s overwhelming.
but the good kind.
taehyung pulls back and grins at the sight of your blushing cheeks. he carefully strokes the under of your eyes and you open then, having not notice they were closed. you meet with his gaze and when your nose starts to paint a light shade of pink, he grows a little bit worried.
“are you cold?”
“…we should get you out,”
“you don’t look too happy about that,”
“i never look happy when you’re about to go far away from me,”

“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
Donatello first spotted you when you were sitting on the rooftop, reading a book by Oscar Wilde called “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” You were so enthralled in the book that you barely noticed or even heard he and his brothers jumping from roof to roof. You, with your eyes not moving away from the words on the page that let a burst of colorful imagery flow through your mind, looked so at peace and in such a loving state when you read that it almost intrigued Donnie. He wondered what was going through your mind at that moment, but he couldn’t figure that out before his brothers urged him to keep moving forward.
And so each time he passed by your apartment building, there you were; reading on the roof with a new book in your hand and that same focused look on your gentle features. This went on for a couple weeks, and you never once noticed Donnie watching you. In a non-creepy way, of course.
One night, while you were reading a wonderfully terrifying Stephen King novel, Donatello caught a glimpse of what you endured at home.
As you turned the page of your book, the door to the roof opened, and out came your mother dressed in her 80’s-esque glory. Anyone who saw her for the first time would’ve been taken aback. After all, her hair was practically the height and angle of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and her makeup stood out with its bright pink and blue vibrancy to match her cocktail dress and heels of the same colors.
“Y/N!” She shouted in her irritating hitch-pitched voice.
“Yes, mother?” You spoke, your eyes not leaving the book’s words.
“You were supposed to finish working on fixing the sink!” She snapped.
“And why is it that I have to be the one to pull this off?” You asked.
You knew why you were the one forced to do these things, but you always questioned why your parents were so cheap that they didn’t even want to hire a plumber to do these things for you. You’d expect the father of the family to also know how to do these things, but he never bothered to even learn. You, on the other hand, had read a number of books on fixing things when the library had no good fiction books left to read.
“You know I have dance class tonight! Besides, your father’s favorite show is on tonight and he can’t miss it!” She explained, tossing a piece of her hair away from her face.
“Right,” You spoke, finally closing your book and turning to your mother, a sarcastic and perturbed smirk on your face. “Because watching hopeless nobodies from nowhere fighting each other for money is more important than our water system. That makes so much sense.”
You tried to walk past your mother, but she tightly gripped your arm. She stared you dead in your eyes and sneered, “Are you getting smart with me?”
Well, someone in this family has to be. You felt like saying, but kept it to yourself.
Instead, you let out a simple, “No.”
“Good,” She spoke lowly. “Now, go fix that sink.”
Donatello watched from the building adjacent to yours and saw just why you went up there by yourself. He saw you through your apartment windows. While your father was sitting like a lazy couch potato and your mother was making annoyed faces at you as she stared at herself in the bathroom mirror because you were just doing what she asked of you, you were using all your strength and patience to fix that stupid sink that your mother had clogged somehow.
The purple-branded turtle had realized that the reason for you going to rooftops was to escape from your situations at home. It was probably fun to just go off into another world to get away from the one you were forced to live day by day. It was quiet up there.
The next day, Donnie noticed that you seemed completely unfocused, something that was unlike you. You bit your lip in frustration as your eyes attempted to san the words and take them all in, but for some odd reason, you couldn’t seem to comprehend S.E. Hinton’s words. Finally letting the frustration get to you, you slammed the book shut and let it sit on the edge of the building.
You were silent for a short while, letting thoughts consume you as you stared off into the mess of buildings and city lights.
You finally spoke up, “I know you’re there.”
It shocked Donnie at first to hear your voice. You spoke so suddenly, and so quietly, but he still heard you loud and clear, as if you were trying to let him hear you. And because of this, he became frightened. He kept silent and waited for you to say something else.
“I know you’ve been watching me lately, and I know you saw all that yesterday… and I want you to show yourself,” You said, looking up at the spot where Donnie was hiding on the building across from yours. “Please.”
He hesitated at first, but he finally said, “You won’t like what you see.”
“I’ve already seen you.” You confessed, shocking Donnie.
“Y-You have?” He stammered.
“I may be a deep reader, but I have peripheral vision,” You softly laughed with no real emotion lacing your voice. “I’m not afraid, you know. There are a lot scarier and stranger creatures in the world. Heck, two of them are living in my own apartment. So trust me when I say I’m not afraid.”
Donnie took a moment to consider if you were telling the truth or not, but he stepped out from his spot behind the billboard and made eye contact with you from across the way. Low and behold, you were actually smiling sweetly. You weren’t screaming and your eyes weren’t wide with fear, but gentleness. You had just met him, and you were completely calm. Even April was fearful to even get near him when they first met.
“Hi,” You spoke, extending your arm so h could shake your hand. “I’m Y/N.”
“U-Um, Donatello,” Donnie sputtered, graciously taking your five-fingered hand in his three-fingered one. “But you c-can call me Donnie.”
And after that point, your life was never quiet. You got into a world of insanity, one hat was beyond any of your books. But when you were with him, it was a different kind of quiet, a beautiful one.
Shutting the door to her flat, she leaned against the hard
wood and let out a deep sigh.
Today had been an emotional wringer. To watching Sherlock plummet past her window,
which was heart stopping enough, to having wheeled into the morgue, to touch
cold skin long enough to pull the squash ball from under his arm ignoring her
own chills as she did this, her body if not her mind reacting to the idea of
him actually being dead.
Then it was merely a waiting game. It was disconcerting seeing him lying on the
metal table looking pale and cold as death.
She had the doors to the morgue locked but even with precautions seeing
a body suddenly sit up on her slap gasping breath made her jump and stifle a
He was disoriented, the medication given to him to stimulate
death finally wearing off. She bullied
him out of his Belstaff and suit and into the track suit and hoodie she’d
hidden there earlier. He didn’t
complain, merely complied with her hurried requests without a word.
Her phone vibrated in her pocket as she was bundling up his
clothes in a hazardous waste bag, letting her know that the car was downstairs
waiting for them and everything had been cleared for them to leave.
She helped him out of the hospital- a friend helping her
sick friend- through the back entrance and into a nondescript car in the
alley. Fromt here it was a quick drive
to her flat where he would stay until early the next morning when Mycroft would
ferry him out of London.
1. Stay Positive He wants the country to be angry, fearful and divided because that is the soil from which his darkest policies will grow.
2. Vote in 2018 mid-term elections Remember this is a regime and he’s not acting alone. A Republican Congress will simply rubber-stamp his extremist policies.
3. Don’t Argue with those who support him and his policies. They are forever trapped in their own bubble that resists facts, logic, and open-mindedness.
4. Focus on his policies not his appearance or mental state. Do not give in to name-calling or derision. We are serious people on an important mission.
5. Don’t spread fake news. Check it. Double, triple check it.
6. Keep protests peaceful and organized. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
7. Take a stand Call, email, write or visit your senator and your representative to let them know how you feel about a certain issue. (phone calls are always better).
8. Use his name sparingly When you post or talk about him, don’t assign his actions to him, assign them to “The Republican Administration,” or “The Republicans.” This will have several effects: the Republican legislators will either have to take responsibility for their association with him or stand up for what some of them don’t like; he will not get the focus or attention he craves; and Republican representatives will become very concerned about their re-elections.
9. Resist! Keep saying no to each new outrage – don’t become complacent or inattentive.
10. Take A Break - don’t stress yourself out with nonstop resistance/outrage. Temper your expectations. You can remain vigilant, but not fanatical. Truth Will Out

Please can you do Tommy shelby when you meet him and don't realise who he is (and you fall for him) but when he tells you, you don't turn him away??
“Good evening Tommy.” I smile as he enters the pub. I work
as a barmaid in London and Thomas Shelby has been coming in quite a lot since
he started doing business in town. We have talked and actually gotten very
close over the past few weeks and last week he asked me on a date. He said I
didn’t have to answer right away; that he would be back in a week and that he
would hear my decision then. It didn’t take me long to come to an answer. He’s
very handsome, smart, obviously wealthy and he can be very funny. He’s charming
and very sweet to me and I can’t really find anything wrong with him. Yes, he’s
damaged by the war, but all men his age are. So I’ve decided to say yes. “Good evening y/n.” He sits down at the bar. “Have you
considered my proposal?” “I have and the answer is yes.” I say as I place a glass of
whiskey in front of him. He stops trying to light his cigarette and stares at me. “Really?” “Yes.” I smile again. “Good.” He breaths out. “Tomorrow is your day of right?” He
asks and I nod. “I’ll pick you up at seven.”
The date went absolutely perfect and it was followed by many
others and now we are on our way to Birmingham where I’ll get to meet Tommy’s
family. I’m both nervous and excited, but Tommy seems to be dreading today. He
tried to talk me out of it and he’s been stalling ever since he came to London
to get me; I said I would take the train but he insisted that he would come and
pick me up. “Look they can be a little overwhelming and a bit harsh or
crude at times and-“ Tommy says as we turn onto Watery Lane, but I interrupt him. “I work in a bar Tommy; crude comments will not scare me
off. He nods and then stops in front of a house, but he doesn’t
leave the car. “Tommy?” I ask. “Is everything alright? Why are you so
scared about me meeting your family?” I place a gentle hand on his knee. He places a hand on top of mine and then turns slightly so
he can look at me. “I enjoy being with you and I want to be with you for a very
long time, but I’m afraid that my family will ruin the idea you have of me.” “Tommy.” I sigh. “Even if your family members are the worst
people in the world, that doesn’t change how I feel around you.” He stares at me for a while before he shakes his head and
gets out of the car. He makes his way to my side of the car and helps me out.
We enter the house together and there are two men, two women, a small girl and
a boy inside. The older woman looks up as we enter while the men continue to
play cards and the other woman is fussing over the little girl. The boy gives
us a curious glance as we move closer. “Thomas.” The older woman greets him and then turns to me. “And
you must be y/n. We’ve heard a lot about you.” She says as she takes my arm and
leads me further into the room. “I’m Polly. These are John, Arthur, Finn and
John’s wife Esme with their child.” I introduce myself to them and then take the seat that Polly
pulled out for me. They really aren’t as bad as Tommy made them out to be. His
brothers are very kind and his aunt seems like a lovely woman. I laugh at
something Arthur said and when I take the cup of tea from Polly I lock eyes
with Tommy. He’s still standing in the same place, but there’s a small smile on
his face and when he looks at me he breaks his stance and joins us at the
table. Tommy and I stay for dinner and afterwards we decide it’s time to go; we
still have to drive back to London. “Thank you so much for everything.” I smile at them. “It’s
been wonderful to meet you all.” “We should get going.” Tommy says as he places a hand on my
back to guide me to the door. “Bye.” I give a small wave and then turn to Tommy who’s
holding the door open for me. “Thank you.” I smile as I step outside. But as soon as I step outside I’m grabbed and roughly pushed
against a wall. I scream and I hear Tommy shout at the men that attack us. He
is soon joined by Arthur and John and the man that is holding me against the
wall has to let me go to help his mates. I stare at Tommy, Arthur and John as
they fight the men as if they do this every day and I can’t help but feel
slight fear when I see the look on Tommy’s face as he pounces on the man that
held me against the wall earlier. I’m snapped out of my daze by Finn who gently
tugs at my arm and leads me back inside. Even Finn, at his young age, easily maneuvers
his way through the fighting men and manages to get me safely inside. Once I’m
inside Polly is immediately all over me. I didn’t notice it during the whole
ordeal, but the men that grabbed me left bruises in the form of his hands on me
and my palms are scraped from trying to push away from the wall. Polly, Esme
and Finn don’t say a thing and the room is eerily quiet until the boys come
back in. Tommy franticly looks around the room until his eyes land on
me and he lets out a deep breath. “C’mon let’s give them a moment.” Polly says as she ushers
everyone out of the room. Tommy walks to where I’m sitting and crouches down in front
of me. I keep my eyes on my lap. He takes my hands in his and I wince slightly
at the presses on the scrapes. Tommy frowns at that and gently turns my hands
around until he sees the now cleaned scrapes. When I glance up I see his jaw
clench as he keeps his gaze on my hands. “Are you hurt anywhere else?” He mumbles. “No.” I whisper. “Good.” He breaths out and then he finally meets my eyes
again. “I’m so sorry you got caught in this. Those men, they’re in a gang.” I
tense up at his words and Tommy cups my face in his hands to make sure I keep
looking at him. “And they were here because I’m in a gang with my family.” He
explains. He drops his hands from my face after I don’t say anything for a
while and he stands up. “I understand if you don’t want to see me anymore.” That snaps me out of my daze. “What? Why would I not want to
see you anymore?” He gives me a strange look. “Because what I do is dangerous,
because they could have hurt you far worse than they did tonight.” “That doesn’t change anything between the two of us though.”
I stand up and walk towards him. “It makes things more complicated, but it
doesn’t change how I feel about you.” I add as I cup his face in my hands and
make him look at me. “Are you sure?” He asks as he places his hands on my hips. “I’m sure.” I mumble as I stand on my toes and press my lips
