Nihon Radiators(Nichira) S110 Nissan Silvia Super Silhouette racecar as driven by Impul founder Kazuyoshi Hoshino. Nihon Radiators became Calsonic and started using the familiar blue colour scheme. Impul and Calsonic still have a close relationship. This is an early version of the car. Later versions had an S12 style front grafted on. Motor was an LZ20B twin cam inline 4 putting out 570PS.
The white 240Z in the photo above was my very first Z. I bought it as a running bone stock car back in July of 2012. Blood, sweat, and tears were put into that car. Full suspension, seats, wheels, a fuel cell, and even an RB20 were put into it. My goal was to turn it into a show/drift car. A lot of people probably hate the idea of ruining such a beautiful car but I wanted to be different. Anyway, don’t worry, that never happened. Because on December 6, 2012, this car was stolen from me. I was heart broken. As cliche as it sounds, I literally lost a part of me when it was gone.
But after a month passed and still no word or sightings of my car, I knew there was no way I was getting it back. So on January 1st, 2013, I purchased another 240Z. This time just a stock rolling shell. A lot of work had to be done but, here I am, three years later, drifting my dream car. It still needs a ton of work but I’m thankful to have gotten to where I am so far.
I always think about how things would have turned out if my first Z was never stolen. I miss that thing. But honestly, that unfortunate loss has made me a better person. I almost gave up on building another car but in doing so, it taught me that in the end, it’ll be worth it. And I thank God for the awesome friends and family that helped me through this amazing journey.
