“Those who worship God for the hope of gaining, they’re not real worshippers, they’re merchants. Those who worship God out of fear (of punishment), they’re slaves. And those who worship God to be grateful towards their creator, they are the free people, and their worship is a real one.” -Imam Hussain (a.s)

They say that when you enter the vicinity of Karbala al-Muqaddas and first lay eyes upon the Golden Dome overpowering the skyline, you quickly come to notice that one is missing.
Although both the Shrines are built on the same leveled ground and are of the same size, only the dome of Hadhrat Abbas (as) is visible to the guests entering this Holy city.

When the scholars were asked why the dome of Aba Abdillah (as) is seemingly hidden from view, the reply came saying:

“Till today, those who wish to visit their Imam (as) must first go through his guardian, Abal Fadhl al-Abbas (as).”

Tomb of Mohammad’s granddaughter
Zainab, the daughter of Ali in Damascus, Syria

Zainab accompanied her brother Hussain, as did most of his household to Iraq. After Hussain and all his 72 companions were brutally killed at the Battle of Karbala by the order of Yazid, Zainab was taken captive by the army of Yazid. Zainab and the other survivors of Hussain’s expedition, most of them women and children, were marched to Damascus, Yazid’s capital, where they were held hostage.
Zainab, already in anguish due to the death of her brother Hussain and her sons was forced to march unveiled and beaten. This was an extreme indignity to inflict on a high-ranking woman, the granddaughter of Muhammad.
