imagination

Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.

My favorite piece of technology is our imagination. It is endless and vast and intelligent, which one could argue makes the perfect machine. In other ways our imagination is nothing like a machine. It is random and magical and absurd, yet aren’t all of the best things? This is my interpretation of that idea. Remember to start your machine up from time to time. Don’t let it get rusty. Use it often and treat it well. It is the greatest gift, and we possess the power to make it do anything. www.promotingpassion.com/promoting-passion-week-80-…/ … …to read more about why I shot this image, behind the scenes pics, a speed edit video and to meet my good friend Dave Brosha, at whose house (and event!) I photographed this. I shot it for the theme for this years PhotoPlus Expo…and while I have a feeling I was way off base, it was still mega fun! Modeled by Lexi Parks
