so theres a biologically narusasu kid and two biologically naruhina twin sisters (if kishimoto thought i’d forget how he accidentally confirmed trans naruto and hinata hes dead wrong,) but no ones keeping tabs tbh its just that they have the sharingan and the byakugan or at least some watered down version of it (and whisker marks) so its p obvious but as i said everyone is everyones kid and sibling
hinata is reforming the hyuuga clan + has a genin team w sasuke that practically lives w the family, and naruto and sasuke are reforming the System w the help of sakura, who, before anyone asks, married ino
+while naruto is romantically involved with both of them, sasuhina are mostly friends
So I did some character sheets for the fee&kee au !! I wanted to do the whole company/everyone ever in any tolkien book but this was taking forever and I really wanted to get back to actual story lines whoops sorry (names are in the captions in case you cant tell who is who)
❝ Same streets, same crowds too. Yeah, Yokohama hasn’t changed a bit. You don’t see it, but... those months were very hard for me. Learning to trust people, having that trust broken... Finding out the town I pegged as small, and stifling, and empty... wasn’t any of those things. I’m glad I met you guys. You made me... pick up on things I probably would’ve just gone on ignoring. ❞ (x)
Here’s my full piece for the Tokyo Mew Mew zine!!! I had a blast drawing it and I’m SUPER glad I could be a part of this amazing group of artists!!!!! Thanks so much again to Alexis for organizing it!!!!

Your closed your mouth with a click and set your jaw. Suddenly a hand wrapped around your jaw and your face was wrenched towards your father’s.
“Humans, they lie, Ripple, they lie for their own benefit. Whatever they told you, it is not true."
You knew he was using your nickname, ‘Ripple’, against you. He called you that because he said when you were little you would take jugs of water from the house, pour them on the dirt until they formed a puddle, and drop stones in them to watch the ripples. He said you did that all day long sometimes.
"You know you can trust me.” His face was inches from your own, but you couldn’t feel the warmth like you remember you felt when you were next to Leonard, next to Scotty.
Exhaling stiffly through your nose, you spoke. “They said I’m human. They said you probably kidnapped me and put the ISD inside of me. As an experiment.”
Your words rang out in the otherwise silent hall. The hand fell from your jaw.
“I was afraid of this.” His back was suddenly turned to you, and you watched as he paced a few steps back and forth.
Your eyes widened and your jaw ached. “So it’s true?"
He turned back towards you, his finger on his chin thoughtfully. But it was his posture that told you everything. Defensive. Planning. Thinking of the next move.
"It is true.” The words dropped from your lips like sparks from a fire.
Your father remained silent, his eyes scanning the ground, back and forth. You decided to risk something then. You reached out with your display, with your connection to him, and entered his ISD.
The action sent a sharp shot of pain through your spine, but still you pushed forward, deeper into his system, reaching for his thoughts. Your vision was flooded with greens and whites as you navigated. “System Overload” flashed in your vision, red and blaring. Still you persisted. You needed to find something out, the truth, or… someway to stop him.
“Tell me.” You weren’t sure if you said the words or projected them into his system.
“Very well.” His eyes met yours and the world exploded into a world of colour.
You might have screamed, you might not have, but your thoughts were quickly overwhelmed with images. Images that you recognized as you as a child, tiny, terrified, huddled in a corner of a… house… as people who looked human approached you. You could feel the fear of the tiny version of you. You didn’t know these people. These people had hurt your parents. The strangers reached for you and you screamed.
Then, the images switched to a hospital room, a form under white sheets, tiny compared to the large bed. A wide bandage circled her head. Your head.
“The procedure, it was successful." A bodyless voice said.
”Excellent.“ It was the voice of your father. "Prepare for phase 2.”
The world swished sideways again to the familiar image of your metal house, where a slightly older version of you with cropped hair was in the corner, humming a song and cradling a crumpled bedsheet as you would a baby.
“Ripple, what are you doing?” Your father’s voice snapped and your own head flicked up, dropping the blankets instantly.
“Nothing, father.” A tiny voice squeaked.
“You know I do not condone this type of behaviour.”
“Yes, father.” The little girl’s head hung.
“Now, get back to practicing.”
Pain spreading through your skull woke you from these images, tore them out of your head. Memories. You realized. Your father’s memories.
You couldn’t open your eyes, the pain was so immense, but your display blinked red even behind closed eyes. You were going to blackout.
A hand wrapped around your jaw again and forced your face up. You squeezed your eyes open, gasping for breath as you looked into the stone-cold eyes of your father.
“I always knew you were not strong enough, Ripple. I always knew you would disappoint me.” His words cut into you like a knife.
The world went black before you even hit the ground.
It all starts with a misunderstanding where Hana refuses to wear sunscreen on a mission near Cairo despite Mercy, Ana, and Lucio pestering her to do so because she’ll be inside a mech, duh, but then things don’t go according to plan and she ends up spending 5+ hours exposed to the beating desert sun, which means her face is basically fried. Literally, she cannot even blink it is awful.
But she is too stubborn to tell anyone so she just suffers all morning until of course Lucio catches on. So he’s chasing her around the base with cooling ointment trying to help her out, and eventually she gives in and just lets him rub some on her face because it does hurt a lot, and yeah, neither of them really think anything of Morrison walking in on them and grunting and then immediately leaving because he’s always grumpy anyway, and both of them are too distracted to even consider that them sitting mere inches from each other while Lucio holds Hana’s face might seem a little weird without context but anyway
Winston is a little confused when Morrison storms into his lab later demanding they bring back the non-fraternization rule. That was even a rule? But he supposes it might be a good idea for professionalism, so they call a team meeting.
Winston casually brings it up and there’s some discomfort but no one really wants to say they’re against it outright, and Morrison is pushing for it hardcore like the grumpy old man he is. Well, McCree does try to say something with “Morrison weren’t you-” but then Hanzo cuts in like “I think it is a great idea.” And McCree is just #betrayed; stares at Hanzo like a kicked puppy while Hanzo lifts an eyebrow at him.
So, though their is a lot of silent resistance, the rule goes into effect, once again. And well, if McCree walks into his room that night with Hanzo already there bed like “I didn’t say I was going to follow that rule, did I?” Morrison will never have to know.
Things go on as usual, even if Mei is pouting really hard because Zarya didn’t seem bothered at all during the meeting, and no she doesn’t mind, but okay she hasn’t really been all that subtle but also has she really not noticed and Hana and Lucio are confused because Morrison keeps appearing from nowhere whenever they’re together like wtf.
And then there’s Angela, who’s more than a little frustrated. Over the past few months she and Fareeha have slowly been growing closer and closer. It was a slow, tedious process, but lately they’ve both really been able to open up to each other. She was sure last weekend they were actually outright flirting, but ever since Jack (yes, she knows it was Jack) called that stupid meeting, and now Fareeha has been chilly at best toward her, speaking only on a professional level, and sprinting off to train if Angela ever dares get too close.
Of course Fareeha would be the type to take these rules seriously. Luckily, it’s not just Angela who catches onto this. Ana has also been watching her daughter’s slowly developing romance for months now, and she’s not happy about the turn this has taken. Fareeha deserves to be happy, damn it, and it’s not as if the dumb fraternization policy had served any real purpose in the past.
So she confronts Jack about it like, asking him what bought this on, and he goes “Lucio and D.va were getting too close.”
And she just kinda blinks at him with a deadpan stare like “You do realize they’re both adults, right?”
But Jack just shakes his head. “They’re too young for this. Unnecessary for those kids to go distracting themselves like that.”
And then Ana frowns, folds her arms across her chest. “You were one of the biggest offenders of the old fraternization policy, if I remember correctly.”
Jack balks, tries to say something but all that comes out is a growl and Ana keeps talking anyway-
“You and Gabriel weren’t really that much older than them, were you?”
And then he turns on her, shoulders straightening out, entire body shaking with fury. “That didn’t end very well, did it?!”
But Ana doesn’t flinch away, even when he shouts, inches from her face. They stand there for a moment, eyes locked. And then Jack just crumbles, letting out ragged breaths. Ana catches him in a hug, holds him close. “Oh Jack, we can’t protect them from everything-” and they stand there together, two old soldiers who have seen too much, for a long, long time.
The next day the fraternization policy has been lifted. Hana and Lucio can now safely traverse the base without Morrison on their tail (though they were still only friends so….) Mei still hasn’t made any headway with Zarya, but hey, things are looking up.
A few days later, Hana spots Fareeha and Angela holding hands under the table at breakfast, and loudly announces it to the whole kitchen, much to both their embarrassment (Fareeha sends her a death glare, but it’s kinda ruined by the grin she can’t quite wipe off her face).
Jack and Ana share a look across the room. His mask hides it, but she thinks maybe he’s smiling.
