im in an rs with holidays

Hey, so I just realized that RS's finale is actually during a national holiday in the US. So do you think a lot of people will actually tune in to the end or not?

You’re right, I forgot it’s airing on MLK Day. That makes the scheduling a tiny bit better. It’s still a Monday premiere though, ugh.

I think the finale MIGHT be able to pull in 1.5 million in ratings, if they’re lucky. After all, it’s pretty much the only group of episodes that’s gotten its own advertising this season. Then again, it’s still on a Monday, and it’s sandwiched between Teen Titans Go reruns. Cartoon Network isn’t showing a single Regular Show rerun between now and the finale either, which doesn’t help at all.

I think if they were marathoning the entire series on the channel LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE BECAUSE RS HAS DONE SO MUCH FOR THIS CHANNEL IT’S UNBELIEVABLE AND NOW THEY’RE JUST SWEEPING IT QUIETLY UNDER THE RUG WHEN THE ENTIRE CREW LITERALLY PUT THEIR SOULS INTO THIS EPIC SERIES FINALE AND THEY DEFINITELY HAVE THE TIME TO MARATHON THE SHOW OR AT LEAST EVEN THE LAST FREAKING SEASON UP TO THIS POINT OR AT LEAST EVEN THE TWO HOUR MOVIE BECAUSE THEY SHOW TEN HOURS OF TTG RERUNS PER DAY AND THEY’RE SHOWING TWO COMPLETELY RANDOM MOVIES TOO then the finale would have a much better chance to bring in viewers, but sadly CN is sort of just showing the last five episodes out of nowhere.

Speaking of the last five episodes, those two that are airing on Saturday at noon don’t stand a chance. They’re not being advertised, it’s just the finale on Monday that is, so nobody knows they’re gonna be on and nobody will because NOBODY WATCHES CARTOON NETWORK AT 12 IN THE FRIGGING AFTERNOON. I think I heard something about CN changing the scheduling for those two, but I still think the ratings for them are going to be one of, if not the, lowest in the show’s history. I mean, look what they did with Adventure Time’s Preboot/Reboot.

Sorry for the mini rant you didn’t ask for, I’m just kind of mad about the way the series finale of one of CN’s most successful shows of all time is getting treated. Plus, it seems like only eight people really care at all. I love Steven Universe but if this happened with a single one of their episodes, much less the series finale, there would be a mass outcry tbh.

All I can say is that poor JG and the rest of the crew are probably going to have to hold a mass prayer circle on the night of the finale if they want 1.5 million in ratings. You guys deserved better. ;__;
