Its just so tragic, hunting is what both units the Winchesters but its also the only thing that tears them apart. It was hunting that created Sam and Dean’s strong bond, and it was the hunt that lead to all of the betray, and their many deaths. It’s like their drug, its hunting them and they know it, and they hate the job for it. And then hurting puts them on the road in the Impala, driving, pulling pranks, laughing, and there is this moment where its just two brothers on a road trip, or two brothers and their adopted Dad having a beer. Those moments that make them love the job. And the saddest thing is, they can’t have that normal apple pie life, because this is their apple pie life, on the road in a ‘67 chevy, saving people hunting things. The family business.
