im almost at my first thousand

Hey, I hope you're recovering well from surgery. What kind did you have if you don't mind me asking? Also remember to drink some water and I hope you've eaten ❤️

thank you! im working hard at getting better (a thousand naps, ~3 litres of water during the day, gratuitous amounts of fruit) and im up and walking which helps w recovery c:

i had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with salpingo-oophorectomy. basically they cleared out my ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus and cervix. im glad to be rid of them - my ovaries had started to atrophy and it was causing me a lot of pain, and my cervix has always been an Issue so. clean everything out and start fresh.

this is my first really big step in my transition - ive been on t for like, almost five years, but now that ive actually had my first gender affirming surgery im really feeling like im on my way! and i know a lot of dudes don’t really feel the need for hysto but i’m definitely a thousand percent happier now that ive done it.

im happy to talk more abt it if anyone is contemplating getting hysto! i have 0 regrets and i’m always happy to chat abt transition experiences.
