“Edward Snowden has famously disclosed extensive information about the practices of the US National Security Agency (NSA) with regard to PRISM and other US surveillance programs…the extensive details about the complex systems that have been exposed are difficult to track, although many of them seem to have serious and immediate consequences.”

What is the impact of surveillance practices on national security, diplomacy, human rights, and democracy?

OK WTF i just saw your post about how it took you 4 fucking years to finish supernatural and i was wondering where you watched it bc i don't know anything about the show but it seems to be fucking long? So like did you watch it on tv or on netflix or something WHY THE HELL DOES IT TAKE 4 YEARS TO WATCH A TV SHOW HOW LONG IS THAT SHIT

Ok there’s people who watched it in like 2 months. but like… it has 11 Seasons with 22 chapters each season and each chapter lasts AN HOUR. So.. the whole show lasts 242 hours. Say you watch 4 episodes every day religiously.. that’s 60 days and a half………

It’s long.

MARTIN FREEMAN, YOU’RE A BLOODY MENACE!!!

You should be registered as a weapon of mass destruction. Ovaries the world over (and probably countless dicks) are exploding overnight. Do you hear me Mr. Freeman? You are leveling entire countries with your hotness. How dare you! This amount of sexiness should be illegal. Saying “dickfuck,” being all damp and sweaty, mind blowing shower shagging, what state secrets, you have no bloody state secrets, exposing that delectable body of yours like that, sporting that fuckable swoopy hair oh god your hair, so fuck me sideways six ways to Sunday, even your botched American accent, and that distraction of a sinister smile from your moral grayness… don’t… just don’t… stop… don’t stop don’t stop don’t stop…

Rep. Steve King warns of 'mistake' if Trump changes on immigration
King suggested that Trump might have more to say about the legal status of such individuals. By NICK GASS

Iowa Rep. Steve King on Wednesday sought to downplay Donald Trump’s recent “softening” on immigration, emphasizing that he did not interpret the Republican nominee’s latest comments to be a significant change in his stance toward the millions of undocumented people in the country.

King, introduced on CNN as a supporter of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz during the primaries, remarked that Trump’s comment to Sean Hannity that he would consider “softening” his stance should be taken “with the balance” of his other comments. Trump remarked Tuesday night that “we’re going to follow the laws of this country,” while adding, “what people don’t realize, what people don’t realize, we have very, very strong laws.”

"When you balance that together, I think what it says is that if people are anticipating that there would be a deportation corps that would be deployed across this country, that softening means that’s less likely,” King acknowledged. “And he said, too, we have the police force out there. They know who people are. And let’s work with local law enforcement. And they didn’t say it in this interview. But in these sanctuary cities and enforcing the law, that will keep us busy for a long time.”

Lips turned up at the corner, a smirk. Such a sly look within those gray eyes of his. Hand placed up the top of his hat, pushing it down for it to cast shadows onto his face enough for the emotions in his stormy eyes to not be seen. Such was the habit of this shady shopkeeper. With him?

He knew not the meaning of illegal, but the meaning of doing whatever necessary to win what he wanted. Ah the selfish nature of a mad scientist ceased to amaze others, even himself! That cheshire-like smirk faded as he stood at the woman’s side.

my my, that’s quite the UGLY word don’t you think, miss? my MERCHANDISEisn’t illegal–but to answer your QUESTION, if there’s no cops of otherAUTHORITY figures running around is it really named ILLEGAL?

the LAW is a funny thing as is the LOGIC of man. what do YOU think is right or wrong here? no one said being set on EMOTION is an illegal thing. funny how the HUMANmind works.

“Mmm, that’s not how the law works.” What a funny man.

However, she’d take it. Right now she needed help, and the only person she could find that seemed similar was the man in front of her. She’d overlook any manner of oddities if she had to.

He lacked chakra, at least as she knew it, and what was in it’s place reminded her painfully of Jushiro. Risking her own image, she spoke calmly, stepping close to limit who could hear despite them being almost alone. “Do you know anything of life after death? Of a place people go that’s beyond this world?”

She had names, and words of places she’d never been, all second hand knowledge, but she would share it sparingly. After all, he could just be an oddity of a man. “It’s quite important to me that you answer honestly.”

i'd love to hear about what it feels like being in the library :)

well you’ve come to the right place. or person. or half tree person. okay. so there’s wooden floors half dusty and half you-can-sit-anywhere at my old university library. back then, you’ll always find me where the old english classics where, in front of a big pale rusty green fan that’s only pointing on one direction so i’m half sweating all the time but the books seem okay with the pretend tornado so i guess that made me okay with it. when it gets too hot though, i go to the reference section and the librarians let me stay there for hours because they’re use to me or i’ve managed to convince them that i’m not doing anything illegal. :D when i graduated and moved out of my parents house to go to grad school, i found i really good hiding spot at the college of arts and letters, this is probably one of my fave libraries, its on a side of a hill with wide open windows facing a wall of ferns and grass. i used to spend my time reading between the shelves under the sign that says “don’t read between the shelves,” because i’m kick ass that way. hehe🍃🍃 they have an amazing collection of filipino, english, latin-american, and european classics there. i borrow more than 5 books at once most times, my classmates back in college would sometimes comment on the amount of books i’m reading but its really just that one place i feel safe in. at work though, i can barely wallow in the library, they don’t have many books that i’m interested in, but i like that they have this space for teachers. its not part of the main library for students. i like that very few teachers go there too (whispers: its even better if no one goes there but me) i usually go there when it gets too loud in my head. i’m talking a lot am i? space is so important to me, its scary how much sometimes, i could never not like libraries, there not easy to leave, and its not so hard for me to stay.
