illegal firearms

The black liberation group MOVE was founded in 1972 by John Africa (born Vincent Leaphart). Living communally in a house in West Philadelphia, members of MOVE all changed their surnames to Africa, shunned modern technology and materialism, and preached support of animal rights, revolution and a return to nature.

Their first conflict with law enforcement occurred in 1978, when police tried to evict them from their house. A firefight erupted, killing one police officer and injuring several more on both sides.

Nine members of the group were sentenced to 100 years in prison for the officer’s killing. In 1981, the group moved to a row house on Osage Avenue.

At their new headquarters, MOVE members boarded up the windows, built a fortified rooftop bunker and broadcasted profanity-laced political lectures with bullhorns at all hours, drawing complaints from neighbors. Members continued to rack up violations from contempt of court to illegal possession of firearms, to the point where they were considered a terrorist organization by the mayor and police commissioner.

On the morning of May 13, 1985, the police moved on the house.

Arriving with arrest warrants for four residents of the house, the police ordered them to come out peacefully. Before long, shooting began.

In response to gunfire from inside the house, more than 500 police officers discharged over 10,000 rounds of ammunition in 90 minutes. The house was hit with high-pressure firehoses and tear gas, but MOVE did not surrender.

Despite pleas for deescalation to the mayor from City Council President Joseph Coleman and State Senator Hardy Williams, Police Commissioner Gregore Sambor gave the order to bomb the house.

At 5:28 p.m., a satchel bomb composed of FBI-supplied C4 and Tovex TR2, a dynamite substitute, on a 45-second timer was dropped from a state police helicopter, detonating near the fortified pillbox on the roof of the house.

Within minutes, a fire had consumed the roof and begun to spread.

Firefighters, already fearful of being shot at by MOVE members, were told to let the fire burn.

The blaze raged out of control, spreading down the block of row houses and hopping the narrow streets.

By the time it was extinguished four hours later, 61 houses had been razed. Apart from a woman and 13-year-old boy who escaped when the fire started, everyone in the MOVE house was dead.

The 11 deaths included MOVE founder John Africa, five adults and five children between the ages of seven and 13.

Despite investigations and formal apologies, neither the mayor, nor the police commissioner, nor anyone else from the city was criminally charged.

Hot Mugshot Guy Jeremy Meeks makes his catwalk debut for Philipp Plein

Jeremy Meeks became an internet sensation back in 2014 when his police mugshot went viral.

Fast-forward three years and he’s made his New York Fashion Week debut on the runway for Philipp Plein.

The 33-year-old was arrested in February 2014 and sentenced to 27 months in prison for possessing an illegal firearm but, after his photo was shared on Facebook, he gained a huge following.

Thousands of swooning replies and hashtags later, the ex-convict signed a modelling contract before being released from prison and is now represented by London model management agency SUPA.

tell us about aeron ?

Aeron Curtis is an English/foreign language teacher with haemokinesis! Control over blood. Due to being haemokinetic, he has a bit of difficulty with keeping his emotions in check, especially anger. But he’s usually fine! You have to get him really, REALLY pissed to get him to go into a blood rage.

That’s pretty much when a haemokinetic’s eyes go blank and they lose control over their kinesis until they get calmed down. It can involve a lot of blood loss and often triggers severe kinesis fatigue in the one going through the blood rage.

Kinesis fatigue causes a lot of bad soreness in muscles and really painful blood crystalization type stuff to occur (basically the essence of someone’s kinesis forms big, jagged chunks and tend to break the skin, people often are caught trafficking this stuff to use as ammo for already highly illegal firearms).

But anyways! He lives in Lux, Tera, the “good” half of the region. He’s close to the line between Lux and Nox. Nox is where Redrum is located.

He’s the father of Watson Curtis and Rhosyn Curtis and the husband of Mara Curtis. Him and Mara split after a while, but they stay on good terms. He ends up remarrying to a guy named Richard Queaser (owned by @undeaddarude) maybe?

When he finds out who Malcolm really is he gets super upset cause him and Devin were best friends from childhood to when he “mysteriously vanishes” in high school.

I’m sat here

In a country that’s dealing with an MP and mother of two being shot and stabbed to death by a man in the street in broad daylight. A man who, according to some witnesses, shouted “Britain First” before firing. A man who had a history of mental illness and had connections to Neo-Nazi and right wing groups, as well as books and materials in his home.

A man who obtained an illegal firearm and, just over a week before the Referendum on whether Britain should remain in the EU. A country where the Daily Telegraph (one of the country’s most conservative newspapers) calls the murder “An act of Far-Right Terrorism”.

I’m sat here, and all I can think of is all the neo-nazi scumbags in Heathenry, who rather than recognising that the elder heathen cultures valued hospitality and kindness to strangers, seek to expel and belittle people on grounds of sexuality, ethnicity, or physical ability.

All I can think is how wrong they are. How this island I call Albion has welcomed wave after wave of immigrants since the ice-age, including the Norse and the Anglo Saxons. How, for all the battles, the mixing of cultures occurred, how the people and land prospered together,

All I can think of is how unbelievable their fear must be, how much they must be certain that they are not enough, that they’re going to be swallowed up, everything they are is to be lost.

I’d call them frightened children, unable to face the possibility of Change’s elder brother, Death. I’d say they have no grasp of the old ways, of the knowledge that our ancestors knew - that there is no safety, and that the world is full of Life with its own agenda.

But that would, I think, be petty. Instead I wish more understanding upon them. Instead I wish revelation upon them, wondrous as it is - the knowing of the fact that we are inextricably bound together, across space and time. That all of us on the island are nourished by the same dirt, and the bones of all those incomers and outgoers. Those roots, our variegated multi-woven twining roots are what keep us alive in an uncertain world.

Our earth, our dirt.

Doesn’t matter where you come from, you eat the dirt, you’re welcome,
y'know? Muslim, Black, Gay, Straight, Polish, Syrian….you eat her
dirt in the food and the water and she'l take you, mix your bones with
all the others yeah?

And the holders of those bones surround us - Roman cavalry from the Black Sea, African legionnaires on Hadrian’s wall, Brigantian tribesmen strengthening the arm of those who farm on holdings established by Norsemen a thousand years ago.

We’re bound together. That’s not hippy talk, but a fact of life and death. The ancients called it wyrd. And wyrd goes as it should.

It’s time to remember humans were made from trees, as in Norse myth. The land is us and we are the land.

Albion sang to William Blake once, gave him great visions and poetry of that vast giant. Its gods and goddesses, songs and stories, still remain, If we are to survive, we must do as our ancestors did, and learn to listen - to join our voices once more to the great song of adding and taking away. To go down Below and across the borders of Here and there. To answer the call to be watchers, singers, makers, dreamers and shapers again.

To drink from the well of Memory, and bring forth vitality from that freezing stream, to answer the Lady of the Lake, not with requests for swords, but with song and poetry and story.

I may be a cripple, I may me weak, but my heart beats under the skin, same as the mighty, and I have my Dead all about me. The lines and maps of men mean little, but the land remembers.

So we must learn to listen. To remember, and recall we were NEVER alone.

This is Ali Mohammed al-Nimr

he was only 17 years old, and sentenced to death by crucifixion and beheading in 2014, could be executed within days after his final appeal was dismissed recently.

Al-Nimr was arrested in February 14, 2012 during a crackdown by the Saudi authorities against anti-government protesters in the Shiite province of Qatif. He was charged with participating in anti-government protests and illegal possession of firearms.

human rights activists following the case said the teenager was not allowed access to a lawyer. They also said he was tortured and forced to make a false confession and that no evidence was produced to support the charge of illegal possession of firearms.

He was sentenced to death by crucifixion and beheading on May 27, 2014.

The needlessly cruel method of execution involves first beheading the victim and then tying the decapitated body to a cross, often in a public place as a warning to others.

Norwegian court to rule on six men accused of illegal wolf hunt

April 19th - Landmark case pits survival of one of Europe’s smallest wolf populations against Norwegians’ cherished hunting rights.

Six men charged over hunting some of Norway’s last wolves will learn their fate this week when a court rules on a landmark case that has gripped the country.

Illegal hunting of wolves is thought to be extensive in Norway, driving down population numbers to perilously low levels.

Now, for the first time, the authorities have prosecuted an alleged hunting team, charging the six men with environmental offences and organised crime, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 11 years.

“It’s such a serious offence that we were given almost unlimited investigative powers by the state attorney,” said Tarjei Istad, a prosecutor in the case.

The indictment includes attempted illegal hunting, firearms offences and organised crime. The prosecutor has asked for a five-year ban from hunting, which is something most Norwegians see as a birthright. The defendants are pleading not guilty.

All European countries except the UK, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, are believed to have a population of wolves, ranging from the largest, in Spain with an estimated 2,000 animals, to Norway, which has one of the smallest populations, with perhaps as few as 30. The Gray wolf is listed by Cites as endangered regionally, though not globally.

“This is a question of attitude in certain hunting teams and communities,” said Istad, referring to audio surveillance of the suspects that revealed the suspects allegedly boasting about their hunts. He believes the case is important to get the message across that Norway will not take illegal hunting lightly.

Petter Wabakken, an internationally acclaimed expert on wolves, said: “Our research shows that half of all wolves felled in Norway were killed by poachers,” he said. “This is disturbing, especially considering that we have the smallest wolf population in Europe. Government policy has been to allow three breeding female wolves within an allocated area. This is not enough to sustain a healthy population.”

Norwegians are deeply divided over the management of wolves. Urban communities are generally positive about having large predators in their vicinity, while people in the countryside see them as more of a threat.

Wolves tend to be targeted because of conflicts with human interests, such as competition for game, human safety and depredation of livestock.

“We can only conclude that poachers take the law into their own hands. It’s not licensed but illegal hunting that regulates the Norwegian wolf tribe,” Wabakken said.

ALRIGHT GUNBLR

Given my new job, I feel a strong sense of urgency to ccw. Kansas laws regarding premises on which to not carry are as follows:

As of July 1, 2015, individuals in Kansas will be permitted to carry a concealed weapon without a license. A private business may still prevent the carrying of concealed weapons on the property of the entity by posting clear signage that indicates the carrying of concealed weapons is prohibited. The following rules govern where you may not carry a gun in Kansas. It is illegal to possess a firearm:

onto school property (including preschool and child care facilities).

within any building located within the capitol complex

within the governor’s residence or on the governor’s residence grounds

within any state building with designated signage prohibiting the carrying of firearms (county courthouses, etc)

(Kan. Stat. Ann. 2014 Supp. §§ 21-6301, 75-6309, 75-7c10.)

The owner’s son leaves for the air force at the end of the year so he’s the first person I’d ask if he thinks his dad wouldn’t be opposed to ccw. The owner mentioned today there was an after hours burglary just after the grocery store pharmacy across the street was robbed. This is a high profile place with a shit ton of money and extremely valuable booze.

What y'all think?

Calling all Europeans

Sign this petition to let the EU know you will not stand for further increase in allready extremely tight gun-ownership laws.

https://www.change.org/p/council-of-the-european-union-eu-you-cannot-stop-terrorism-by-restricting-legal-gun-ownership?source_location=petitions_share_skip

On the morning of 7th January 2015 Terrorists attacked Charlie Hebdo, with fully automatic, unregistered and illegal firearms.

Since then the EU has been preparing new legislation to ban semi-automatic firearms in the hands of law abiding EU citizens. Despite the fact that these weapons were not used by terrorists and are not even typically used by criminals.

They use unregistred, untraceble black market full auto Kalashnikovs.

The new legislation has been on the back burner since April 2015, only to surface now on 18th of November, barely 5 days after a second attack in Paris.

The victims of this tragedy have not been buried yet, the criminals are still on the loose and the police has not even finished the investigation and yet the EU is announcing measures to prevent something like that from happening again.

Unfortunately nothing in the draft would have prevented these 2 attacks since neither were done with weapons that are now legal and would be banned with this new law. Nothing.

It is not logical and above all it is extremely unfair.
It is unfair to the victims, it is unfair to the law abiding citizens whose hobby and property will be taken away.

Say NO to the draft proposal announced on 18 November 2015
Do not restrict semi-automatic firearms ‘because they look like an automatic firearm’

We the Citizens demand that the EU brings focus on the real problems:
- That the external borders of the EU are not protected.
- Our population has groups in it that refuse to allign with our democratic core values and our culture.
- Illegal arms trade is rampant within the EU.
- Criminals and terrorists have easier access to illegal weapons than legal gun owners have access to legal arms.

That is the current situation and this new legislation does NOTHING to adress those problems.
The 18 November IP-15-6110 draft to amend 91/477/EEC is not only populistic in nature, it is also an insult to our civil liberties and to the intelligence of the EU citizens as a whole.

The EU is trying to ban all semi-auto firearms

This is the answer to the terrorist attacks in Paris. Where terrorists obtained illegal firearms, the EU is trying to ban all the legal firearms.

I’ve never seen such absolutely blatant evidence of wannabe authoritarian governments taking advantage of a tragedy to disarm their populace and further their goals in establishing totalitarian rule.

So that fat idiot from Pawn Stars just got arrested for having meth weed and illegal firearms…while police were serving him for a sexual assault. Lol hopefully that’s the end of that show, and all pawn shows.

Sorry just realized I was talking about Pawn Stars and “fat idiot” doesn’t exactly narrow it down…it was Chumlee the real life idiot who badly plays a pretend idiot on a “reality” show.
