Bts “Cheating” on you-Reaction

Requested by anon

This is like a mini scenario/reaction

scenario: You have been seen with a guy. Fans automatically assume the worst. Bts member decides to hire an actress to kiss him as you walk in the door. As soon as he sees your eyes regret fills him immediately. You leave to another Bts members house whom you are close with for comfort, he finds out this “guy” was your brother. What happens now?

Jin:

He pushed the actress away and tried to go after you. He didn’t know the exact truth but he knew you were hurt. You soon left his eyesight and he called all the members until he found out you were with Namjoon. By the time he gets to Namjoons house, you were asleep on his bed, snuggling his Ryan Plushie. Tears of regret stung his eyes and he cuddled you close. By the time you woke up, he was explaining everything whilst kissing you.

“I love you more than you’ll ever know”

Suga:

He figured he did his job when you left. He paid the actress her money and she left. His heart was shattered at the idea you cheated on him. Though he got his revenge, there was a hole in his heart. He was taking out his feelings when he receives a call from Taehyung:

T:DUDE WHY

S: What?

T:YOU BROKE HER HEART MAN *explains how it was your brother and you’re  crying in his arms*

Suga hangs up the phone and quickly went to Tae. He felt like an a**hole and he held you in his arms explaining everything and blaming himself.

“I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions babygirl..”

Namjoon:

He was mad at you. How could you walk out acting hurt when you did the same thing?? He scoffed, paid the actress and started to pack your things. He tries to call you to tell you your stuff is here. He’s shocked to hear a yelling Yoongi answer your phone. The minute Yoongi said “your brother” Namjoons heart broke. He understood why you left hurt when he thought it was acting. Namjoon went to you, sat you down and explained everything. He made sure that he would regain your trust.

“You’re my entire world, nothing can replace you.”

Regret filled him as you walked out crying. He thought he was just getting revenge, He didn’t know what he did wrong, but he knew something wasn’t right. He texted you and the members and finally gets a response, from Jimin. Hobi went to confront you, He heard your side of things and he broke down crying. He felt like the worlds biggest idiot. He cried in your shoulder and whispered so many apologies.

“Please forgive me”

Jimin:

Just like Yoongi, he’d feel proud. He made you feel what he felt and it was over. That is until he gets a text from Hobi who seemed pissed. Jimin tried to have his own back and argue with Hoseok about you. Hobi sends him a picture of you asleep, your eyes still wet from the tears and Jimin just turned into a soft baby.

H: SHE WASN’T CHEATING, THAT WAS HER BROTHER YOU FOOL!

Jimin went to you, smuggled you, kissed you, whispered so much reassurance in your ear. You ended up falling asleep in his arms on Hobi’s bed.

“Mine forever. I love you and you only”

He didnt know what he was doing. Everything seemed so right while it happended, but the way your tears fell, he knew he wasn’t a victim at all. He knew that you didn’t cheat. He ran to you before you could go to Jungkooks house. He let you explain because he only knew what other people told him. He trusted you but Jealousy took over in the moment. He’d pray you’d understand.

“I know i should’ve confronted you, it was my fault. Please still love me the same.”

Jungkook:

Confused. Hes like Tae in this sense he knew that he wasn’t the victim, but didnt know why he wasn’t the victim. He gets a call from Jin, who isn’t yelling, but lecturing him on what actually happened and what he should’ve done instead of hire an actress

Jin: Like seriously, kookie, WHO DOES THAT!?!

Jungkook knew he had to make it better, and would try to make sure sure you trusted him again before things go back to normal.

“I’m an idiot, but you love me still, right??”

(No ships. Cas, Dean, and Sam are all there and interacting with each other. Side characters welcome but only over the phone/Skype. The boys aren’t confined to the bunker, but let’s keep them in Kansas. No hunting, no killing, no one’s hurt. Just us imagining how Team Free Will would spend a Staycation. request idea: it's the hottest day of summer (maybe even the hottest day EVER!) and sans and reader's a/c is on the fritz. how do they beat the heat?

i love stuff like this. normal, every day things that would cause havoc with two nerds who know nothing about being Actual Adults™. you’re awesome, ‘nonny!

have an idea? shoot it my way!

Pairing: Sans/Reader

Summary: When Sans said he was going to get you hot this weekend, you knew this wasn’t what he meant.

Ninety degrees.

In. The. House.

You didn’t even want to think about what it was like outside. No-fucking-thank-you. The sun beating on the roof of your place was more than enough to create a stifling environment. Was this was chicken nuggets felt like when they were shoved into a deep fryer? When chocolate chip cookies were forced under a heat lamp and cooked to soft and fluffy perfection?

You wiped your brow and the bead of sweat rolled down into your eye, immediately sending it stinging. Damn, this was awful.

“Sans, any updates?”

“sorry babe, kinda busy here.”

He continued to tinker with the A/C unit posted in the window. When he lived Underground, long before he posted up in Snowdin, Sans worked with the Royal Scientist to do research on humans and breaking down the barrier. His scientific background and love for mechanics was sure to help in fixing something this simple. Right?

Wrong.

He’d been struggling with it for an entire hour. In the time that it took for him to finally pry it open and try to fiddle with its innards, you made an entire pitcher of lemonade, had the ice melt and water it down, and chugged the entire thing by yourself just to bring your core temperature down. Now your stomach was cramping from too much liquid shoved in there and Sans was getting more frustrated by the minute.

“damn it.”

“What?”

“babe…”

“You can’t fix it?”

He rubbed at his temple and avoided eye contact with you. It killed him to admit this. “sorry. guess we’ll have to call someone after all.”

“Shit, okay. Do you know anyone off the top of your head?”

The both of you flipped through the directory online. The maintenance guy for your apartment complex was out of town for the weekend, and all work orders had to wait until he got back. Unless you wanted to shell out for services now and have them reimburse you. But money was tight this month with a few birthdays so close together, and you barely had enough to make rent, let alone waste it on something that wasn’t considered an emergency.

“they’re booked out ‘til next week.”

“Are you serious? What about this one?”

“went straight to voicemail.”

“Shit.”

You were sticky all over, your hair damp and the dried sheen of sweat only hardening into a slightly grimy layer that itched whenever you moved. This was disgusting.

“Want some ice?”

“yeah.”

You took the last of it out and cursed the fact that you didn’t have a fridge that could make it for you. The trays were taking forever to freeze, at least two hours, and this was the last of it. You popped a cube into your mouth before depositing the rest into a cup to take to Sans. You plopped next to him on the couch.

“Lean back for me.”

He did as you asked and you took a single one, it already melting in your fingers. Sans was a skeleton, sure, but he was also a monster. And in weather like this, he felt it just as much as anyone else. He couldn’t really cool himself off by normal means, so the best way to do it was to rub a piece along his skull to try and bring him relief.

You dragged the cube along his temple and toward the curve of his skull. He shuddered in gratitude and closed his eyes, the droplets skating down his forehead and onto the bridge of his nasal cavity. It was the least you could do. He’d brought all of his tools from storage just to mess with the air conditioner, facing off against the sun beating on his face and hands, and he hadn’t broken down and snapped at you at all. He really was a patient person.

“Better?”

“yeah. thanks, babe.”

“No problem.”

You sat there for a few more minutes, cursing the fact that the last bits were melting into a lukewarm pool of water. Sans downed the rest of it when it did run out, looking a little better now that he wasn’t so parched.

“we gotta do somethin’ else, this isn’t working.”

“I know. I stuck my head in the freezer for a little while, but then it started melting all the stuff inside. And I’m not explaining to Papyrus why his ice cream ended up as soup.”

Sans grunted. “you, uh, ok there? you’re sweating through your shirt.”

“Agh, shit.”

You lifted your arms. Yep. Armpit stains, just what you suspected. You thought that wearing a tanktop would help, but everything was sloughing off onto your clothes. And from every pore, it seemed like. It made your hair damp and stick underneath your arms, and your back was slick with how much there was. The worst part was the amount that formed underneath your breasts.

“I need to change. Again.”

“we should prob’ly just close the curtains.”

“Yeah, no one needs to see this.” You tore the shirt off and threw it to the side, Sans watching it lie haphazardly on the floor.

“nah, i’m more worried about peeping toms takin’ pics of you.”

“Seriously?”

“yep. lots of creeps out there. and who could resist this?” He jiggled your stomach and you slapped his hand away, scandalized.

“Shut up. I guess I’ll just…strip down. Even more.”

Sans went to work in making sure the room was darker. The blackout curtains were never more welcome as you tried to relish the cool shade, if just for a moment. The window was open, so the slightest of breezes was able to push past and circulate air, but the ceiling fan was busted since the day you moved in and there was no using it.

“want some help with that?”

“What?”

“your bra.”

“Pffft. Oh my god, I’m not sitting here naked. Nice try, though.”

“hey, i gave it a shot.” He grinned wickedly. “prob’ly for the best. wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off you otherwise.”

“Ohhh, I get it. You’re the kind of creep you were warning me about earlier.”

“guilty as charged.”

Sans already had his shirt off and you wished that you were more comfortable to want to run your fingers all over him. He was so fascinating. And not in a gross clinical or fetishized way. He was just…so different and so familiar all at the same time.

You drummed your fingers on the arm of the couch and were just thankful that it wasn’t leather so it didn’t stick to your skin.

“got any other ideas?”

“I wish.” You glanced at the front door. “Would be nice if we could just leave that open, but then I’d have to put something else on.”

“yeah, kind of a lose-lose situation there.” He grunted and hopped down. “you got any ice cream?”

“Only what Paps brought over, and we’re not touching it.”

“shit. uh.” He looked like he was wracking his brain and wandered to your room. “what about the shower?”

Huh. You hadn’t considered that. An icy cold shower would actually….be kind of nice. And then you could cool off by letting everything air dry. It might make your water bill a little higher this month, but there was nothing else you could do at this point.

“That’s your angle, huh?”

“hey. it’s a legit question.” He shucked off his pants. “you comin’ in or not?”

He didn’t let you answer, because he stepped through the door and started it up. You listened to the pellets hitting the shower floor and bit your lower lip. It would’ve been…really nice, but Sans in these types of situations could get pretty handsy. It wasn’t even a conscious thing, he just saw your naked skin and wanted to touch it. And you were not in the mood to get even more hot and bothered, especially not when you were trying so hard to fight off hyperthermia at this point.

Still, you knew that this was the only option you had for the moment. You kept your bra and panties on, tromping through to pull the door open so you could step in.

He was sitting on the small ledge. Positioned with the shower head directly on the top of his skull so the water ran up and down, in and out of every orifice. It looked a lot more refreshing than it sounded, and you cautiously moved in close to him so you could get some, too.

“Ohhhh man.”

“heh heh. stop.”

“But it feels sooooo goooood, Saaaaans!”

stop.”

You weren’t sure if you could. Not when you just had to verbalize what was going through your head at this point. It was heaven. The slow hum of the water washing over your body, driving away all of the sweat and frustration. Easing your fears about the air conditioner issue and bringing you back down from stressing so hard about it. You closed your eyes and tossed your head back, a slight smile tugging at the corners of your mouth as you felt the droplets caress you in every single—

Hey, that wasn’t the water!

“Sans!” You shoved his hand away from your thigh, which he’d squeezed just hard enough to break you out of your meditation. “Hands to yourself.”

“sorry.”

“No you’re not, I can feel you smiling at me.”

“heh. s’yer fault for makin’ all those cute noises.”

“Those are noises of relief.”

“yeah, similar to the noises of relief i give ya every once in awhile.”

You snorted. “Okay, you got me there. Still. If we start messing around, you know something bad is going to happen. This is a recipe for disaster.”

“you sure ‘bout that?” He tangled his hands in your sopping wet hair and tugged it playfully, earning an annoyed grunt on your end. “few kisses won’t hurt.”

God. You were so weak.

Shower kisses honestly weren’t everything they cracked up to be. Maybe it was the position you were in, or the freezing temperature of the water, but it was hard to actually enjoy the sensations when your lips were going a little numb. Everything was much more slippery, especially with the way his digits simply skated over your breasts when he tried to grab hold of them despite the thin layer of fabric between you.

Sans leaned forward to lay a few kisses on your neck, but he scooted too far forward and went headfirst toward the floor.

“OH MY GOD!!! Are you okay?!”

You stood up to help him and grabbed for the shelf to steady yourself, and the soap you kept there slicked your fingers enough that you lost your balance. You landed on top of him. Hard enough that he left out a cry of pain.

You struggled to pick yourself up, the water beating down on your back and a bottle of shampoo knocked over from the reverberations of your fall. It dripped all along your hair and seeped into your eyes, earning a startled scream from you as you held yourself up with one arm, using the other to rub it away and wash it out.

Sans went motionless and his empty eyesockets stared up at you. It only spurred you to viciously scrub at your face and blearily get him out of the stream so he didn’t drown.

You crawled out of the shower with him in your lap, blinking rapidly and trying to stop the stinging tears from welling up in your eyes any longer. Sans stirred after a few minutes and stared up at you, his mouth turned downward in a grimace.

“was it that good? that i passed out?”

You broke into laughter and he followed suit, both of you completely soaked and nowhere near clean now that you’d rolled out onto the bathroom rugs that hadn’t been washed since two spring cleanings ago.

You toweled your hair to get rid of most of the excess water, letting the rest of it sit on your shoulders so it gave you some temporarily relief. You were already starting to drum up a new sweat now that you were out of the bathroom, Sans nursing his wound with a monster candy since he’d somehow bruised his bone with the hard landing earlier.

“Okay, so sexy showers are definitely not a thing.”

“i dunno, was havin’ fun until you knocked me out.”

“Ugh, it wasn’t me!”

“heh.”

You glanced outside the window, peering through the blinds, trying to see what everyone else was doing. Some people sat on their porch and sipped away at tea, shades on their face and hats to shield away the sun. Bastards. A lot of them had the luxury of chilling in a straight up bikini or shorts without worrying about others judging them for it. You didn’t even think you owned one that fit any more.

“hey, don’t alphys and undyne have a pool?”

Shit. “Yeah they do!!! Let’s head over and pretend we’re there to visit and hop in!”

“weird that they wouldn’t bother to invite us on a day like this.”

Both of you had to get somewhat dressed for that. You slipped on something you wouldn’t mind getting damp, Sans following you closely to the car. It was the fastest you’d ever seen him actually move as you dodged the hot patches of sidewalk to get inside.

“crank up the a/c.”

“Yeah! Great idea. See, this is why we’re so good together.”

You did as he asked and were met with sweet, sweet chilled air.

“damn.”

“Mmm.”

“let’s just sit here. not move.”

“Hey, I need this gas to last me for the rest of the week. We can’t.” You rolled down the windows and he shot you a reproachful look as you cut it off. “Sorry. I’ll make it up to you.”

“that’s two things.”

“What? What was the other one?”

“letting me get knocked out.”

You took the fastest route to their place, savoring the rush of wind that came with you going over the speed limit. Traffic was light because people were preferring to stay indoors, probably in central air and watching TV.

You pulled up to the gate and hit the buzzer. “Hi, Alphys! It’s just me and Sans. We wanted to see how you guys were doing.”

No answer. That was weird. Usually she spotted you on the street and had the doors open for when you came this close.

Another punch of the button. “Hey, you guys there? Sans, should I call the house phone?”

He pulled his own weight, to your surprise, and his face wrenched up in disappointment.

“they, uh…went on vacation last week.”

You leaned forward and hit your head on the steering wheel. The long, roaring honk broke the silence of the otherwise peaceful street. “Fuck. How could I forget that?”

“welp. there’s just one thing to do.”

“Guess we’ll just have to go back—”

“ —we gotta hop the fence.”

“What???”

“babe. we go back to our place, then what? we just sit around and hope we don’t die? undyne n’ alphys won’t mind if we take a dip.”

“Sans, we don’t have a key. It’s breaking and entering.”

“yeah, but they’re our friends, so it’s ok.”

“Are you serious???”

“yep.”

You watched him climb out of the car and on top of your hood. He was just tall enough that he could put his hands on the ledge and swing on over. You saw him drop down to the other side and scrambled out to see if he made it okay.

“c’mon, babe.”

You weren’t so sure about this, but it was too hot to argue. The fence was more of a privacy thing than security, so it wasn’t too bad. Right? They were your friends.

You somehow managed to follow suit. Sans waited for you down below, ready to catch you if you fell. But it wasn’t necessary, because you were a lot taller than him and the drop wasn’t as bad.

As soon as you hit the ground, Sans grinned at you and tore his shirt off.

“Oh my god, so scandalous.

“if you’re good, might even take the rest off,” he teased.

You both broke into a running start and dove into the pool. Well, Sans sort of just waltzed over to the edge and dropped in at his own pace. But the water itself, which was constantly filtered and cleaned with Alphys’s groundbreaking system, was so crisp and refreshing that you didn’t even care about getting caught. You dove down deep enough that you touched the bottom, springing back up and enjoying the rush of cold wind against your soaked cheeks as you came up for air.

Sans waded in the shallowest end of the pool, happy just to keep his head above water. You treaded water and floated along next to him, so relieved that you could spend the rest of the afternoon soaking and not having to worry about your own bills.

“I’m never getting out.”

“babe, your skin is doing that weird thing.”

“So what? You said you would love me no matter what.”

“yeah, but we should relax inside. they got a/c too.”

You were going to marry this monster. He just kept bringing good news to the table. “Oh yeah! And snacks! I’m starving!”

“heh, me too.”

You felt around in the mailbox for the spare key and opened the door. You both headed inside, tracking water on the tile floor, going your respective ways to search for towels and food.

“Do you think people make cards for intruding on friend’s houses while they’re on vacation just to eat their food and use their pool?”

“prob’ly.”

“Well, we should get one.”

After washing off the remains of chlorine and combing out your hair, you and Sans snuggled together on the couch and popped in a movie.

When Alphys and Undyne came back early from their trip just a few hours later, only to find you two making out in their living room, they laughed too hard to be upset.

I was completely exhausted. Work was kicking my ass and my body hurt from head to toe.

I pulled my phone out as I entered my car, finding Justin’s contact before clicking it.

“Hey baby” Justin cooed, instantly easing the pain I was feeling.

“Hey” I breathed out, putting the phone on speaker and setting it on the dash holder.

“What’s the matter? You seem down.” He says, and I groan.

“I’m just so tired. Work is actually murdering me.” I admit, putting the key in the ignition and starting it up.

“Why don’t you just quit and let me spoil you forever?” Justin teases, with a hint of all seriousness.

I roll my eyes. “You already spoil me enough as it is. I don’t want you or anyone thinking I’m with you for your money because that’s not the case.” I explain, for the billionth time.

“All that matters is that I know that baby, and I do. But you work so hard when you should be chilling in our bed or shopping or buying makeup and shit.” He says, and I laugh.

“Our bed?” I question, my cheeks hurting from smiling so hard.

“Yes baby, because one day I’m gonna marry you and we’ll be sharing a bed.” He states as it’s the obvious, and I try to ignore the butterfly’s flying wildly in my stomach.

Just like that, he was able to make my day just a little brighter, and that was why I loved him so.

“You’re so cute.” I cooo, grinning at nothing.

“You’re cuter.” He argues, and I giggle.

“Alright whatever you say. I’ll be home soon so I’ll call you when I get there.I love you.” I say, waiting for him to say it back before ending the call.

I groaned as I continued to make the needed turns and stops, and after a few minutes I was home.

My brows furrowed when I spotted one of Justin’s cars in the driveway, but I shrugged it off because he showed up unannounced all the time.

I got out of the car, grabbing my bag and pulling out the keys to my house.

My heart rate picked up slightly when I noticed a trail of roses leading me to the front door, and once I opened it, the trail continued, all the way to the dining room where Justin stood, dressed in a suit and tie, making me swoon slightly.

“Justin, what is all of this?” I question in complete and utter shock, my dining table littered with tiny candles and rose petals, two meals next to each other, along with glasses of wine.

“You’ve had a long day, and I felt like spoiling my girl a little bit.” He shrugs, and I stare at him with nothing but adoration.

“This is beautiful.” I say, moving towards him and grabbing his hand once he laid it out.

“You’re beautiful.” He smirks, pressing a kiss to my lips and I wrapped my arms around his neck, smiling into it.

“Let’s eat, I have a surprise for you.” He says, and I nod excitedly, before sitting next to him and digging into our meal.

“This is so gooooood.” I praise, nodding my head as Justin smiled, but I could tell something was on his mind.

“You okay?” I ask, looking over at him in question., and he snaps out of it, smiling softly at me.

“I’m perfect. Listen, we need to talk” he says, and my stomach churns.

“Yeah? What about?” I ask nervously.

He sighs, grabbing my hand in his before rubbing the top of it with his thumb.

“You know I love you right?” He asks, looking me in the eye and I nod immediately, not even needing time to question it.

“No like, I’m completely in love with you.” He says, and I lose my breath.

“Every single thing about you is what keeps me going each and every day. From the way you snort when you laugh, or the way you fart in your sleep.” He chuckles as I blush deeply.

“To the way you never take anyone’s crap, and you’re strong willed and independent.” He continues, and I feel my eyes water.

“I wouldn’t be the same person if you hadn’t stumbled into my life years ago, and I can honestly say you changed me for the better so Y/N.” I gasp as he drops to his knee in front of me, my hand cupping my mouth as the tears finally spill from my cheeks.

“You know how earlier I said I was gonna marry you one day?” He asks, and I shakily nod. “Well, we have to start somewhere right? Will you do me the honor, and marry me?”

I nod my head frantically, continuing to cry as he smiled, standing up and wrapping his arms around me before spinning us around, making me laugh.

“ I love you so much.” I sniffle, before grabbing his face and bringing him into a sloppy kiss.

******

“Mrs. Bieber” I tested the words as I looked up at Justin, who was already looking down at me.

“It has a nice ring to it, you have to admit.” He says, massaging my shoulders tenderly and I closed my eyes.

“ it does” I admit, taking a sip of my champagne.

Justin and I were currently in the hot tub shaped bath, my back to him as we relaxed.

“Tonight was perfect” I tell him, smiling to myself as I thought about everything once more.

“Good.” He kisses my shoulder, and I move my head slightly so he could continue.

“I love you, Mrs Bieber.” He says against my neck and I smile.

“I love you, Mr. Bieber.”

Almost There

Maya heard the bells on top of the doors giving entry to Topanga’s jingle with a flurry, signaling a last-minute customer had entered into the abode. Absentmindedly, unaware of who had entered, she told said person they were closed while simultaneously picking up a jar of jelly beans on the counter with one hand, cleaning the table with a rag in the other.

That voice. She hadn’t heard it in years. It was refreshing, and so sudden that she felt she was just dreaming it. But when she looked up from her gaze on her jar of miscellaneous shaped and coloured jelly beans, she knew it was no mirage.

She couldn’t mistake those blue eyes for anyone else. The way it twinkled and glimmered with such fervor that she’d never see in anyone else. The boyish grin always made her weak in the knees, and to be honest, she’d truly missed it. She’d missed him. Joshua Gabriel Matthews.

Maya stuttered, gasped, and stammered at the sight of him looking into her eyes. Consequently, the jar in one of her hands was soon forgotten, tumbling and slipping away from her fingers as she tried to still absorb the shock that Josh had brought with him inside Topanga’s.

“Whoa~!” Having good reflexes since childhood, his hands wrapped around her own as they both caught the jar in time before it shattered to the ground with a hurl. The world seemed to stop, and the snowfall occurring outside their little world added to the ambiance, creating an atmosphere where it was just them, cerulean eyes meeting each other in an intense gaze.

Realizing what was happening, she quickly got a grip over herself, evading his gaze and awkwardly setting the jar on the counter, and straightening out her black apron worn on her lower midriff. “Thanks,” she stuttered.

“It’s, uh, it’s been a while.” His body language mirrored ones of a familiar Christmas Matthews family evening. Hands slightly in his pocket, trying to shake off the nervousness and heavy pain he was feeling in his chest seeing the beautiful woman in front of him.

“Sure has.” She mimicked her younger self, adorning a pleasant smile that made his insides melt.

“Time did good to you.”

Maya was flustered at his comment, slightly taken aback by his forwardness. Nonetheless, she was ecstatic inside. “Thanks, you too.”

Although, unlike last time, he couldn’t walk away as an excuse to catch up with his younger nephew. Times had indeed changed, and running was no longer an option.

Albeit he had a hunch, by looking at the black apron tied around her waist, he still felt the need to be cordial and ask. “So shouldn’t you be at home with Riley by your bay window, or sorts right about now?”

“Actually, Riley’s gone with Lucas this Christmas break to Texas, you know, to meet his parents and all. Formally. And my mom actually has a bit of the flu, and Shaw - I mean Dad (she still had yet to get used to this new name for him) - is taking care of her at home, so I offered to work today instead.”

Josh nodded in understanding.

“So, what’s your story?” Maya asked.

“Actually, I dropped by to pick up some stuff.” He further explained he left some school-related stuff at Cory’s last weekend, and he needed them this weekend to work on a project. He was so busy this week that he didn’t get a chance to drop by, so his older brother had told him he’d just leave the package at Topanga’s, which was closer to his university for his ease.

“I would’ve been here sooner, but the weather out there is brutal.”

Maya looked out the window at his comment. It was true. The blizzard was the worst they’d seen so far this season. It might even top last year’s storms.

She looked back at him, and they both parted their lips at the same time – “so how’s senior year/final year treating you?”

Maya and Josh both chuckled, their gazes downward for a moment.

They looked back up, azure eyes meeting again:

“You first.” – again at the same time.

They stared at each other for what seems like forever. Until Maya broke the staring contest.

“Ladies first.”

Maya smiled at his chivalry. “Senior year is, well senior year. Christmas break is real busy with college applications and stuff.”

“Oh? Where were you thinking of applying?” He was secretly hoping she would apply to NYU, but of course he wouldn’t admit that to his conscience.

She went on to explain her top 3 choices. He loved the way her face lit up when she talked about art. At some point, he got lost in those cerulean eyes, her voice fading out. It picked back up again when she started to talk about NYU as one of her choices. After all, it had a great art program, and if she went there, she could really save her parents a bunch of money going towards her college education. Going to a local college for post-secondary education had its perks.

“But enough about me. What about you?  Final year, huh.”

A smile crept up on his lips as he spoke. “Actually, no. I’m in a five-year co-op program, so still one more year to go.”

“Oh.” That was all that came out of Maya’s mouth. Inside, she was a wreck, trying to stay as calm as possible on the outside. With this new piece of information, she was seriously contemplating the possibility of seeing Josh on-campus almost every day if she got accepted to NYU next year.

Few moments of comfortable silence passed between the duo until Maya straightened herself. “Well, I should probably go check in the back for your stuff. Wait here, I’ll go have a look.”

Josh rubbed a hand through his hair anxiously while she disappeared into the back.  He knew she would be here. He had called Cory to let him know he was going to drop by and have his stuff ready, and that was when he had told him with a knowing voice that Maya would be there. But even though he was aware he would be meeting her, it didn’t prepare him for this. Seeing her again after all these years was sending his mind into a heightened state of disarray. It was bad enough that he couldn’t get his mind off of her recently for the past couple of years. That being said, Josh was scared to admit the growing feelings inside him. So much time had passed since the time she had expressed her feelings for him. He feared that Maya had gotten over him.

His thoughts were interrupted when the lights suddenly went out, and he found himself surrounded by darkness. A cold air passed through the expanse of the bakery and diner. A scream follows. One that was far too familiar. That sounded like…

“Maya!!!”

He ran immediately towards the back, trying to get to the place where he thought he had heard her voice come from. But it was too dark, he couldn’t see anything, let alone her. “Maya, where are you?” Panic was growing inside him, apprehensive of what might’ve happened to her.

“Down here.”

He turned his form towards the voice again, and could faintly make out a figure on the ground. Immediately, relief washes over him, finding comfort in the fact that he had found her. He didn’t waste another moment before running over to her and crouching down to her level, his knees hitting the cold ground. Maya felt his touch as he grabbed onto her shoulders. His hands were shaking, wavering, rubbing up and down, while his voice was frantic and worrisome, meeting her gaze, asking if she was alright. His voice went off on a tangent, rising in level, muttering rapid words of worry and fear.

“Josh!” She firmly placed her hands on his shoulders. “I’m fine. I was just grabbing your stuff when the lights went out and tripped on my two left feet.” In the process, she realized that she had a slight muscle cramp, causing her to wince in pain while trying to get up. Of course, she didn’t want to let him know that; he was already so worked up.

“Oh, thank goodness.” Realizing how close they were, he pulled back, creating space between them. “C’mon let’s go back to the front. I’ll drop you home.” No way he would let her walk home in this kind of storm. He turned around, his back facing her to go back to the front end of the store. Unaware of Maya’s state, he continued on but stopped in his tracks hearing a wince of pain erupting from her lips. Whipping his head around, he saw that she was struggling to get up, experiencing difficulty in standing on her own two feet. Guilt seeped through him – he should’ve just come with her in the back to get his stuff.

“You are hurt!” Immediately, he beckoned to her, by her side in a flash. “Maya, why didn’t you tell me?” His eyes were wide and accusing.

“Really Josh, I’m fine. Just a small cramp or something.” In reality, the pain in her foot was going off like a siren, and she had to keep biting her lip to prevent any pained muffles coming out of her mouth.

“A small cramp? You can’t even stand on your own two feet!”

“Gee thanks for telling me I’m a cripple.”

He sighed with exasperation. Before she even knew what was happening, he brought her arm across his shoulders so she could lean on him, and he placed his hand on her waist to give her support. “C’mon, let’s go.”

Both stole glances at each other as Maya limped forward, in toe with the boy beside her. When one would look and gaze, the other would concentrate their gaze ahead. Maya was astonished at the amount of concern he had for her; meanwhile, Josh was surprised at his own actions, wondering why her cries of pain elicited such a vigorous response from him. It was then he realized he was now past the denial stage; he feared he was perhaps in love with Maya Hart.

Realizing that they were bound to bump into something by walking through the darkness, Josh pulled out his phone from his pocket to shed some light.

Soon enough, they found their way to the lounge area. He gently set her down on the sofa.

As soon as he did so however, the pain became unbearable now, her foot throbbing.

Josh said nothing. He pulled her foot out of her boot, and sparks of electricity jolted up her body as she felt his fingers grazing on her skin as he pulled it onto his lap, taking a seat beside her.

“NO STOP!”

Josh flinched at the urgency of her voice.

Maya felt guilty for putting him through such an awkward moment, not to mention she felt utterly weak that she couldn’t handle this kind of pain. She’d been through so much more tougher emotional pain. She didn’t want him to see her as some weak girl. “You don’t have to do this. It’s just a cramp, it’ll go away soon.”

“Maya.” His voice turned gentle, causing her to suddenly be absorbed in his blue eyes. His hand wrapped around her ankle in a certain way, but she was too engrossed in the intensity of his stare to notice. “There’s something I need to tell you, and I’ve been meaning to say this to you for a long time.”

She was so distracted by him that she was totally unprepared for what happened next. Josh abruptly twisted her foot, bending it forcefully in a particular way, causing Maya to let out an instant cry of pain. She was out of breath, taken aback by his action. All Maya did in return is stare at him in awe of what he’d just done.

A smirk forms on his lips as he let go, putting her foot back on the ground.

Maya looked at him, then at her foot, weary of what might happen next. She slowly moved her foot barely, afraid of the pain. But to her surprise, nothing. She moved it again, and again – no pain. It was as if the pain was never there in the first place.

She was stunned, not knowing what to say. She opened her mouth, but nothing was coming out. “How – “

“Matthews’ family remedy #525, courtesy of Mama Matthews.” The smirk and boyish grin reappeared as he looked at her with a playful gaze.

“I see. Remind me to thank your mother the next time I see her.”

“Hey Josh, what you were saying before – what did you want to tell me?”

Josh smiled before looking out the window, his lips curving downward. “Looks like the storm caused this blackout, we’re snowed in.”He said, avoiding her question.

Horror etched across her face as she saw what he explained. The front door was indeed covered in snow, indicating no way out without a snowplow, or something along those lines. But since the light was out….

“Your phone isn’t dead by any chance too is it?” She questioned, her last hope of getting into contact with any of her family and friends hanging on to one last thread.

The defeated frown on his face just confirmed the eradication of her last piece of hope. “Afraid so.” He’d used the last of his battery in using light to bring her on the couch they were currently seated on.

Silent moments passed between the duo, neither one saying a word. It wasn’t an awkward one. just moments where they were in a fix, and it was clear that they wouldn’t be able to do anything until someone noticed Maya was missing.

“Guess we’re stuck with each other, huh.”

Josh looked to his right, up from the ground at the sound of her voice. “Yeah,” He let out a chuckle from the boyish grin on his face. “Although I’ve been told I make great company.”

It was Maya’s turn to let out a slight laugh. “Oh, I don’t doubt that.” She slightly shivered, and this got Josh’s attention. With no power or electricity, the heat in the building had shut off, leaving Maya and Josh exposed to the cold of the storm outside. Josh, of course, was used to it, as the dorm he stayed in didn’t have good heat insulation in his building. His body had adapted to external cold temperatures. But Maya, on the other hand, was a different story.

She flinched and automatically turned her head to see Josh inches away from her, unaware of what his intentions were. After feeling a warmth around her shoulders, she was surprised at her gesture, looking at her shoulders to see he had taken his jacket off to give her warmth.

“Josh, you don’t have to do this. You’ll get sick!”

“Don’t worry, I’m used to it.” After further explaining, Maya relaxed, her guilt fading away.

“Hey, you got candles anywhere in here?”

Maya’s face lit up with realization. Why didn’t she think of that? “Yeah, they’re in the drawer behind the cash register; the matches are in there too.”

Say no more. Initially fumbling and stumbling to find the area of the cash counter, he finally made his way back to her, returning with candles and matchstick in hand.

Maya helped him out, grasping the candle by its roots, making sure it stayed firm on the oak table in front of them. Josh was on his knees by the table, taking a matchstick out. After a small ember ignited from the slender stick, he cupped the palm that didn’t have the stick in it in a semi-circle around the candle, to bring light to the area. Both individuals were so busy in the process that they were taken aback when they were suddenly inches away, bent over the table, the glow of the small ember illuminating their faces.

Silent moments passed between the two. Neither former could tear their gaze away from the latter. It was like all their pent-up emotions inside were finally coming out, neither one denying the undeniable chemistry they shared.

The moment broke, and distance was created between the two again. Awkward glances were stolen from each other here and there as both sat back onto the sofa.

Josh randomly let out a laugh.

“What? What is it?”

“Oh, oh no nothing.” He looked at the quizzical expression on her face, and smiled. “This situation just reminds me of a similar situation I was stuck in in first year winter term.”

“Is that so? What happened?” Maya was now intrigued. She always wanted to get to know him more, to get to know the real Joshua Matthews, to be able to connect with him on a level where he would be willing to be around her. She wanted him to confide in her, to tell him every little thing that he deemed important in his life.T

“Oh, it’s a long story.” He mused.

“Well, it’s not like we’re going anywhere.” She gestured to their own surroundings.

Josh followed her gaze, seeing they were literally enveloped by darkness, apart from the little world of light they had created just around the two of them. He met her eyes after, his smile creeping up on his lips, leaving the boyish grin she always loved. “Alright.”

Maya couldn’t feel happier as he started to tell the tale of how him and Andrew were stuck in the architecture building after writing a midterm. Listening to him speak with such fervor and excitement brought much warmth to her heart. It was just like that connection that her best friend shared with Hopalong. Even though Riley and Lucas had been together for the past two years, she now finally understood the depth of their relationship, and why she and Lucas could never share that same connection that Riley and he did. Because they were never meant to. She was meant to have her heart-to-Hart with the one that had taken her heart since she probably didn’t even know what love or emotions were – Joshua Gabriel Matthews.

In no time, it went from a simple story to conversations and catching-up between them. They shared everything that had been going on in their lives since the last time they had really talked. Josh told her about all his adventures in college, and the crazy things he did with his buddies; while Maya told him about all the crazy adventures she went on with Riley and the rest of their friends.

Silence fell when Josh suddenly felt something plop onto his shoulder while he was talking to her. He turned his head sideways to see that she had fallen asleep, her head on his shoulder. She looked so peaceful and serene, a stray strand of her blonde hair falling out of place and onto her face. Josh felt a smile play on his lips as he witnessed the sight, and involuntarily used his fingers to tuck the irregular piece of hair behind her ear. His fingers lingered for a moment too long on the side of her cheek, unable to prevent himself from ceasing to admire her serenity.

“What I wanted to tell you Maya, was that I can’t stop thinking about you. Every day, you haunt my mind, heart, and soul. Everywhere I go, you’re always there. Heck, I even have this alter ego that’s talking to me, trying to convince me of how deep I feel for you. I’ve tried pushing it away, push you away, but I can’t. I can’t do it any longer. I’m tired of fighting it, tired of everything.”

With a smile playing on his lips, he pressed his lips gently to the top of her forehead, his eyes closed. His lips lingered for a moment before pulling away, and he simply gazed her away, admiring her like she was the most beautiful and wonderful girl in the universe.

“I love you, Maya Hart.”

They were so close, yet so far away.

With a final, longing look at the blonde effervescent girl in his arms, he rested his chin on her head before falling into deep slumber, joining her serene dreams of hope.

He wasn’t sure when he entered through those front doors today whether she still harbored feelings for him in her dungeon of sadness, but after the events that had transpired tonight, he knew with certainty that she still felt the same way about him as she did before. The way she looked at him and gazed into his eyes with such desire and well, love, had finally threw all the confusion out of his mind and heart.

We’re almost there, Maya. So close to that happy ending. Just hold on and go on dreaming until we know we’ve won….

The long game.

And there you have it! I don’t even know what I wrote to be honest, It’s cheesy af at parts and it got kind of rushed near the end. I swear I’m trying to get better haha.

The DoctorNumber11's 1000 follower contest!!!!

So I just hit 1000 followers on TheDoctorNumber11

I love you all, and I think you are all absolutely wonderful.  I’m really not sure why this many people follow me, and I’m even less sure how they all found me since I’m rarely promoted or anything, but I’ll take them where I get them and I think this is a huge accomplishment, especially considering how I really haven’t had this account very long.  Thank you for this everyone.

So, here’s the deal.  It’s contest time.  This time, it’s going to be a fairly simple writing contest and this time you get to write as both your muse and as mine muse.

Explanation of the contest

It’s simple.  You write a short story (or a long one) that involves both of our characters.  That is both your muse, and mine.  Your goal is to keep both characters as in character as possible.  You need to keep continuity of the already established relationship between our characters.  If a relationship hasn’t been established between our characters, you can write about the first time they meet each other.  It has to be at least 500 words, BUT it can be longer.  There is no limit on how long it can be.

Also, if your only muse is also the Eleventh Doctor, I want to make sure you can still enter, so feel free to write about Eleven meeting himself.  If you want, you can write about them at different points in their timeline and you can even write my Doctor as the Trenzelore older Doctor.

Rules

1. Your story can be about anything.  The only catch is that it has to be some form of an adventure.

2. You have to keep the continuity of an already established relationship.  Basically, if we already have a romantic ship going, that’s fine, you can write about that.  However if our characters don’t have a romantic ship already, then I expect there won’t be any romance between then in your story.  If you are writing for our character’s first meeting, then you get to establish the relationship between them (although I prefer no romance on the first meeting) and go from there.

3. Stay in character.  Write my version of the Doctor the same way I would write him.  Write your character the way you would in an RP.  Have them do things they would actually do.

4. Feel free to write in any other needed characters as well.  There are very few adventure stories that only involve two characters.  Write it the same way you would any other character

5. Make sure you meet the required length, use proper grammar and follow all of my RP rules.

6. Make it creative and fun to read.  This is what I’m mostly judging you on.  Make sure the story keeps my interest and is in general just a great, fun story to read.

Other Requirements

1. You must be following me to enter

2. You must reblog or like this post

3. You must follow my submission requirements.

4. You must message me once you’ve submitted your post to let me know you’ve submitted it.

5. Make sure the story has a title.

Submission requirements

To submit your story it simple.

1. Post it just like you would an ordinary post

2. Tag it with the tags TheDoctorNumber11 AND TheDoctorNumber11WritingContest.  It is EXTREMELY important that you make sure to use that second tag.  Any entries that do not use that tag will not be entered since that is how I’m keeping track of the entries.

3. Message me to make sure I see your post in my tag.  Send me a link to the story when you do this in case I don’t see it in my tags.

Prizes

I don’t have money for really good prizes, but with 1000 followers, I figured promotions would do.  So, here are the prizes

1. First place gets promoted EVERY DAY FOR A MONTH at the time of their choosing each day.  So if they want to be promoted at 5PM each day, that works.  If they’d rather 9PM each day, that works too.  They also get their story featured on my fanfiction page FOREVER with credit given to them and a link to their profile there as well.  Also, since it will be on my fanfiction page, your story will be consider cannon for my Doctor.

2. Second place gets promotions every day for two weeks at a time of their choosing but it must be different than the first placer’s time.

3. Third place gets promotions every day for a week at a time different than the first or second placer’s time.

Warning: At least 10 people must enter for full prizes.  If any less enter, only first place will receive prizes

Judging

Stories will be judged by a panel of writers I’m friends with.  They won’t know who wrote each story.  They’ll tell me which ones they like the most.  I will also have an input as well.

When must the story be in?

All contest entries must be in on 6/1/2014 at Midnight and no entries will be taken afterwards unless arranged with me beforehand.  Winners will be announced within two weeks.

Having trouble with inspiration?

I understand that this may not seem like the easiest contest since it has you writing for my muse.  I want to make it easier on you with some recommended reading for how I gain inspiration along with some recommended episodes.

My About the Doctor Page (Including the links to wiki articles)

My Headcannons

My Fanfiction

Any RPs you have had with me (I can’t include a link to this one, but seriously, I get the most inspiration from just reading my RPs)

Then you can find my list of favorite Matt Smith episodes (the ones that inspire me the most) here

THEN IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH INSPIRATION, ALL OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE RPED WITH ME QUITE A BIT SO YOU CAN ASK THEM ABOUT MY PORTRAYAL OF THE DOCTOR

http://thedoctornumber11.tumblr.com/Companions%20to%20the%20Doctor

Have questions?

Go ahead and ask them.  Fanmail me, send me an ask, whatever.  If you have a question, I’m sure someone else does too and I’ll make sure to add questions and answers to this post as needed.

HAVE FUN WITH THE CONTEST GUYS AND I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE ALL YOUR AWESOME WRITING

Okay I hate that I’m making this post rn because I’ve never ever had to do this but…. I’m not asking for money actually, just asking ppl to use my referral code to sign up for uber if at all possible.

Basically long story short I had to evacuate from hurricane matthew last week and since I couldn’t find anywhere to park my car downtown where it would be safe I just ended up driving it to a Wal-Mart outside of town and hoping it would be ok. The thing is though that I haven’t gone to pick it up yet… I haven’t really had time since I got back and even more so I really, really don’t want to spend the money on getting an uber out there, especially since I don’t even know if it will still be there (Wal-Mart is known to let cars park in their lots without towing but since this was a state of emergency and a mandatory evac I have no idea) or if the area flooded and possibly ruined my car, meaning i’d just waste more money ubering back. Plus I have work today and tomorrow that I need to use an uber for and they’re night shifts,,,, and since a ton of ppl are still out of town the surges have been way more than usual (im already worried it will be something crazy to uber back at 4 am tonight and I really don’t want to walk the two miles to my house alone and defenseless at night). Couple that with the fact that I lost a whole week of wages because I had to evacuate AND all the money I’ve spent because of the evac,,,, AND the fact that I got sent home early last night bc no one was out bc the city is still recovering….. I am a bit desperate.

But I’m not asking for money here. All I’m asking is for a couple of minutes of your time to help me get a couple free uber rides. I know everyone and their mother has already signed up but I’m hoping someone out there on tumblr hasn’t and will see this and take pity on me. Please… Please take pity on me. I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t need it. And I mean that– I’ve had ppl ask me for my PayPal before so they could send over a couple extra bucks and I refused bc I didn’t want to ask for help unless I actually needed it. And now I am finally asking for it, and even then what im asking ppl to do is completely free.

Well this turned into a long post fairly quickly (sorry) but if u do take pity on me please put in my code (katrynas5ue) when u sign up and I will automatically get a free ride worth up to 20 dollars. Oh yeah, and you’ll get a free ride too so win-win right? Oh and if you don’t want to download the app you can sign up online as well.

Please. I will love u forever if u help me. Or reblog this post. Seriously it means a lot to me. I’m already not sure if I’ll even be able to pay my rent this month so this would be a huge help. Thank you.
