if you love somebody let them know

The moment you let somebody into your heart you’re taking a risk…
Not everybody’s going to hurt you of course but from the moment you begin to care for someone you’re giving them that power and whether or not they use it is completely beyond your control. It’s terrifying I know – but it’s the risk you take when you love somebody. That’s not a negative attitude on life or love – that’s just how it is and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
When you lose it feels like you always lose… like every relationship ends in tears and that this is just the latest in a long line of risks that didn’t pay off. But there was happiness before it ended – if there wasn’t you wouldn’t be so upset about it, so it’s not really a loss because you had love. Not everything has to go the way you wanted it to for you to have gained something valuable. Trust me, the longer you live the more you’ll realize that life rarely goes the way you want it to… but that doesn’t make it a loss.
It didn’t work out and it hurts I know, but take it from me – you didn’t lose. You had love, you had happiness, you opened your heart and connected with another human being and just because it didn’t last forever doesn’t mean it wasn’t worthwhile. The people who lose are the ones who close their heart or don’t know how to love… The ones who lose are the people who will never have the happiness you’ve had because they live in emotional isolation and will never experience what it’s like to have a connection with somebody…
You may have been hurt, but you were brave enough to open your heart in the first place and one day, when you’re ready, I hope you open it again for somebody else… because the only way you lose is if you don’t…
—  Ranata Suzuki | Love is worth the risk
some day, you are going meet some boy who will fix your heart, just like one fine day your ex lover broke it. you won’t see it coming but that day it wont hurt anymore to look at couples holding hands in supermarkets, it wont hurt anymore to see boys purchasing red roses and it wont hurt when somebody whispers i love you to the girl eating pasta in your favourite cafe on the next table. i know your tumblr is filled with quotes about boys who didn’t text you back but this one is for the ones who did, who called you when you were sick and held you when you had a panic attack and let you sleep on them. this one is for the boys who made you realise love is more than flowers and holding hands and sex. this one is for the boys who fix heartbroken girls. this one is for you, my love.

hi so u know i said i was gonna tell u more about my helljob right–?

scratch that; it doesn’t matter now – i just came home to my sister crying because she got kicked out of the Ticket Sale Website because she put in the wrong login info (AXX or whatever, i dont know anyhting about how these ticket websites work – also the girl is a nervous wreck;; she did have a pre-sale code that a friend gave her but the website booted her out for some glitchy reason) and the VVIP ticket was almost within her reach ((she’s been saving up for a Seventeen Concert since last year)) and idk mmm I really want her to be able to go to their concert with a VVIP ticket (She likes the Woozi guy) – afaik it’s sold out now from the official site so the only chance is if someone else sells their ticket or something

She tells me she’s willing to pay double or more for the ticket if there’s anyone who is willing to sell us one VVIP ticket ((i can pay more in addition as well – as bad as it looks i do have savings ^o^ – even do commissions or whatever it takes – and you’ll have my undying loyalty and gratitude)) for Seventeen’s NY concert :0

The concert is around her birthday next month and I would really love for her to go and see them ((my birthday is this month but all I want is for my sister to achieve this dream of hers)) So uhh, yeah this is a very long shot but if you know anyone who is selling a Seventeen VVIP ticket please let me know ((to recap, yes we’re willing to buy – we have the money (to some degree – we don’t have the thousand+ for it im so sorry) and we’re not asking to get it for free ;;0;; asjkdhasjd)) Thank you!!!

EDIT: she got one!! somebody sold her a vvip ticket at almost double the price but it was worth it AAA i’m so happy for her (she checked it was legit)!! ^o^ Thanks to everyone who read/liked/reblogged and also offered their help ^__^ we appreciate it so much <3

advice for the broken-hearted:

i. your pain will feel never-ending and no matter how many times a person tries telling you that you’ll be okay, you won’t believe them. you will feel like it’s the end of the world and that there’s no chance of recovering. confront that pain, feel every ounce of it no matter how much it hurts. cry it out, eat it out, let it all out, don’t conceal it and most definitely do not lock it away.

ii. you won’t get over them quickly, it could take weeks, months even. i know you want to move on and you feel like it’s wrong that you cannot, but please please please don’t blame yourself for that. it’s okay to still have feelings, it’s okay that you still love them, i promise you that it’s okay. you aren’t dumb nor abnormal for retaining these feelings. you are somebody who fell madly in love. you are human and feelings don’t die nor does love.

iii. eventually, you will move on but for now, you have to be patient and let your heart heal. treat it with care, treat yourself with love and only love. overtime you will find yourself thinking of them less and less and that’s when you know your heart is truly healing.

iv. don’t let your heartbreak prevent you from living and having fun. go out with your friends and have the time of your lives. sometimes we just need a day to forget everything, especially our pain. who knows? maybe you’ll meet somebody you fancy.

v. i know you’re tempted to talk to them again, but don’t. don’t fall back into the same old trap again. you are strong and beautiful and you don’t need them, not anymore. if they were willing to let someone as amazing as you go, then they never deserved you in the first place. you probably still love them to bits and pieces, but think about it. maybe it was for the best. you’ll end up finding someone in the future and you’ll be happier than ever. because of all this hurt and heartbreak, you were able to find your one true love, and that alone will make the pain worth it.

vi. don’t push people away, i get that you want time alone but sometimes another’s presence is enough to heal you just a little bit. talk it out with your best friend and watch some rom coms with them. people are here for you and never forget that. you are not alone and you will never be.

vii. you will survive and you will be stronger than ever. you will be free from there grasp and you’ll be able to take in the world once again. you will find somebody and you will probably go through another heartbreak. but look, if you could survive this, what can’t you survive through?

Open Letter to the Clique from Mark

Dear Skeleton Clique,

We are slipping.

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun use their many talents to send a message of hope and community to those who feel hopeless and alone. The band’s mission is for this message to reach those who struggle (usually with depression, since this is the struggle they (specifically Tyler) understand best), in hopes that it will also help the listener overcome the obstacles they share. They do send other messages, but this is the most immediate and by far the most important.

When a fan base selflessly rallies around this kind of mission and message for the sake of helping others to stay alive, it’s unspeakably beautiful and actually lifesaving. When that same fan base selfishly rearranges its priorities to put fan-status ahead of the mission, it’s unspeakably ugly and detrimental to everything it stood for to begin with. It isolates the message from those who genuinely need it most. It’s an ego-driven, life-threatening mentality.

If there wasn’t so much at stake, I wouldn’t care enough to write a single word about this. The reality, however, is that a truly lifesaving message is getting heavy pushback from many who claim to believe and live out these truths – all in the name of self-glorification. When that happens, we withhold goodness from so many people. Again, we withhold aid from those who need it, and I refuse to just sit here and watch that happen.

I’m not just assuming this negativity and selfishness exists, but rather watching it unfold firsthand. Furthermore, I’m not just assuming that people could really benefit from the message. How many times have you read “Your music saved my life” in the comments? Has it saved yours? Would you want it kept from you?

Let’s take a look at some (paraphrased) attitudes we constantly see:

1) “I’ve been a fan since [album title/year]”
I completely understand why somebody would be proud to have watched a band grow from the beginning. In that case, there would be few who could claim to have seen what you’ve seen, and that’s special in and of itself.

However, it’s not meant to be a trophy for you to shove in anybody’s face. The most likely reason somebody would do this is so that others might acknowledge and validate some high-level of fandom that they possess. Instead of seeking this approval for no good reason, acknowledge your fandom to yourself and move on. Validate your fandom by being a fan. Support the band and its mission.

Honestly, you’d be hard-pressed to find more than one legitimate instance in which you should bring up how long you’ve been a fan. The only one I can think of (and it’s rare as hell) is if somebody asked you directly, but even then, just tell them and move on. Somebody was a fan before you, and there’s likely a band you’ll love that – through no fault of your own – you haven’t even discovered yet.

Boasting the number of years you’ve served in the clique doesn’t drive any of your points home. Not a one. Instead, it divides us, which is foundationally against the message and mission of the band to come together and stay alive.

2) “I hate that they’re getting famous.”
If that’s the case, you simply don’t love or support this band. Let me clarify.

There are only two cases (that I am aware of) in which it makes ANY sense to be upset about your favorite band getting famous: 1) They did so by way of “selling out.” In other words, they sacrificed their mission and message and abandoned what they once stood for as a means to an end (but even in this case, you’d be more upset about the means (selling out) than the end (fame)). 2) Their concert tickets are now much more expensive, which makes it more difficult for you to see them live. In these two cases, absolutely be mad.

The reality you need to accept is that if you love this band, it should bring you unspeakable joy when fame allows their message to reach more people. Otherwise, you’re pushing back against the mission of the band, likely because you just don’t want to share, which brings me to my next point…

3) “This is my band.”
I believe the “this is my band” mentality is responsible for a lot of the issues I’m discussing. When you link your personal identity so heavily with something that is fundamentally meant to be shared, you will inevitably forfeit your identity to the public when it actually becomes shared. You will lose yourself entirely.

4) “I hate how people call themselves fans but they only know Stressed Out/Tear in my Heart/House of Gold/Car Radio.”
Show me even one person who claims to be a Twenty One Pilots fan while simultaneously admitting to only knowing one or a handful of song(s). Seriously, if you see somebody do both at the same time, comment it below. Let’s see how many actually exist.

In other words, those who are upset about self-proclaimed fans only knowing one song likely have no way of proving that the person actually only knows the one song. Rather, they assume the worst of a stranger based solely on whichever song they listed as their favorite. If it’s a radio hit, they often call out the poor soul who simply said they like Stressed Out. Even if they do admit to only knowing the one song, in most (if not all) cases, it’s paired with something like, “…but I love this band,” suggesting they expect to dig further into the discography based off of how much they love what little they’ve heard.

The truth is that these songs are powerful enough for one of them alone to move somebody. If you’re not willing to accept that truth because you feel somebody isn’t doing the entire catalog justice, you don’t even understand these songs, let alone support the mission they drive. No matter how ideal it would be for someone to know the whole catalog, no matter how cohesive and intentional each album is as a whole, that can’t possibly diminish the fact that each song can speak volumes by itself. It’s no crime for somebody to recognize that. In fact, it strengthens this community and allows it to grow.

5) “It’s ‘Twenty One Pilots,’ not ’21p’ or ‘TOP'”
I actually agree that we should spell out the band’s name. They requested that we do so out of respect. However, we need to realize something.

Those who abbreviate the band name are almost never doing so to diminish what Twenty One Pilots is. Abbreviating is common with band names, and people are usually just being people. If you’re seeking to invite the person to understand the spelling-out of the band name, do so kindly and in a way that fosters community. This is usually the route the clique takes, and I’m grateful for that. This is just a friendly reminder.

Again, this is no time to take people’s innocent ignorance personally (see point 3). There is never a need to prove how much you know just for proof’s sake. That divides the fan base and pushes back against the band’s mission and message.

EDIT: Since this article was posted, Twenty One Pilots has released official merchandise with their band name abbreviated in nearly every way imaginable (2NTY ØNE PLTS, TØP, etc), which I have to imagine was their decision. Do what you will and remain inviting.

6) “Vessel is not their first album”
Again, those who suggest Vessel is the band’s first album almost never do so just to get under your skin. Don’t let it anger you. Instead, realize that it actually makes a lot of sense for someone to believe Vessel is their first album considering the difference between independent releases and label releases (some of their work isn’t actually allowed by law to be sold commercially or publicly). Be welcoming and kind. Nurture the clique. Let it grow.

7) “Twenty One Pilots is not indie/rock/pop/rap/whatever.”
The lines separating genres have become so blurred at this point that it’s almost pointless to even try to assign one to a band anymore. There’s no reason to get upset if you think Twenty One Pilots has been misrepresented by genre. That being said, by all means have a discussion about what you think it might be. But don’t get upset. That just doesn’t make any sense.

For the record, they’re self-declared as “Schizoid-Pop” and I have no idea what that’s even supposed to mean. Discuss.

SO.
Being a part of the skeleton clique should make you feel proud. We are the foot soldiers in places the band can’t reach alone. By spreading this message, you help the band help others, and that’s all they want. That, and to see the clique grow.

If somebody flat-out disrespects the mission and message of Twenty One Pilots, by all means fight back. Don’t be rude, just be real. Defend the truth with more truth.

In that same vein, spreading this message is crucial. Let it through. Do not keep it for yourself. This band is not yours, it’s ours. Not everyone in the clique is guilty of this selfish mentality. In fact, I’d say the vast majority is still on track. However, I say again, we are slipping. Let’s find our footing.

Stay alive, friends. |-/

Mary is the pearl of the Borgias and a the topic of the deal between Mycroft and Moriarty

First things first: Sorry that this will be soooooo long, I’ll really try to keep it short but I don’t think it will work out :) Secondly: I’m super sorry about my english - I will try to correct it when I find time, but that might take a while. I hope it’s understandable :)

I wrote something about Mycroft knowing where Moriarty (or his body) is and in that I mentioned why Mycroft and Jim could made a deal (see here).

This first occurred to me after I’ve read this lovely meta. It’s about the pearl of the borgias, mentioned in T6T. Now let me connect the pearl of the borgias to the deal between Mycroft and Moriarty.

First: Mary is the black pearl.

I belive Mary is the pearl. Let’s look at some rather interesting points:

  • The pearl was stolen in Georgia; the A.G.R.A. coup was in Georgia
  • The pearl is now in London (according to Interpol); Mary is now in London
  • The mentioning of Greta Bengtsdotter in T6T. It’s the story that Sherlock tells the man with the faded tattoo: His wife is a spy and married him only to get near another man, she planned this for 4 years. Greta is short for Magaretha wich means pearl.
  • Sherlock expected to find the pearl in the Thatcher-Statue; instead he found the memory stick with Marys Past on it.

In my opinion, it’s absolutly not unusual for bady guys to have nicknames (like Barry “the snake” or something), plus “The black pearl” would be some badass nickname :D

So let’s imagine that Mary is the black pearl.

In 2009 the coup of A.G.R.A. went wrong (though I belive that Mary is in fact the traitor and planned this, but that’s not important right now). She went to England after that, let’s say in 2009 or 2010. She fled from Georgia. The pearl went missing.

In this theory here, I explain why I think that Mycroft made a deal with Moriarty: Mycroft gives Jim something he really wants and for that, Jim should fake his death and stay away from Sherlock. So, what could be so interesting that Jim would do that?

Maybe the black pearl.

Mycroft himself tells Sherlock that Jim had a huge interest in the pearl in last year before his death. He “died” in 2011, so his interest in the pearl began around 2010. 2010 he also met Sherlock by the pool. Remember that he was in fact just about to kill Sherlock, but then he got a phone call that somehow managed to change his mind. Most of the fandom suspects that the person on the phone was Irene Adler, but I always thought that it had to be Mycroft.

Whoever it is, that person offers Jim something that seems very interesting, like something Jim wants reeeeaaally bad. It even made him change his mind. So what was it?

Maybe Mycroft called and said something like “I have the black pearl.” (like, look at that tweet from Gartiss - He really HAS the black pearl). Remember that later Mycroft acts like he wouldn’t know that Mary was a part of A.G.R.A. though that seems very unlikely? I’d think he would double check Marys backround when finding out that she is going to marry John, because with that she is close to Sherlock. And if he would have done that,he also would found out that Mary Morstan isn’t her real name, like his little brother found out before.

Mycroft indeed has Mary, or maybe just information about where to find “the black pearl”. But he has something.

So he gives the information he has to Jim in exchange for leaving Sherlock alone. That’s 2011. Shortly after that, Jim and Sherlock fake their deaths.

Mary is a double agent.

So now we have a problem: If Mycroft gave Jim the information about Mary, he wouldn’t let her marry John, would he? Because if he had information about the pearl and gave that to the nemesis of his little brother, he would kept an eye on Mary and the very moment when Mary first approached John, he would intervened. Right?

But that wouldn’t be the case, if Mary would work for Mycroft. In TAB we see her working for him, maybe that’s a clue. But if Mycroft said something like “I will give your Information to Moriarty and you will play along, reporting me everything he does.” When John falls in love with Mary, Mycroft is okay with that because he thinks Mary will protect John (who he knows is very important to Sherlock).

But Jim also has plans for Mary: He got her in exchange for his death. So he knew that he wouldn’t be able to interact with Sherlock for quite some time.

But he promised to “burn his heart out”, which is quite frankly a very weird way to tell somebody that you will destroy them. But if he sends Mary to John, who is an easy target in that time (broken, mourning the death of his best friend etc.) and get John to fall in love with Mary … Only to let her destroy him - that would be a nice little catch, don’t you think? Maybe he told her: “Go and get John Watson to fall in love with you. Get near him, get near Sherlock. When the time has come, we’ll burn them.”

Sherlock says that Greta Bengtdotter has that plan I’ve mentioned earlier about 4 years: 2016 - 4 = 2012. Supposedly the year Mary and John met.

Mary and John probably meet in 2011/2012. And what’s funny about this is, that when Mary and Sherlock meet in that reatsurant, she pretends to doesn’t recognize Sherlock, although she have to know his face (bear in mind that she first commented on Johns blog in 2013: on the same exact blog he writes stories about the cases and posts photos). She pretends to because she isn’t supposed to. The first time Sherlock really looks at her, amongst other things we see the words “Liar” and “Guardian“.

Liar because, obivously, she lies. Guardian, because she was a guardian for John in Mycrofts order.

So, Mary is the black pearl of the Borgias. Mary is a double agent. Mary was the reason Jim didn’t killed Sherlock. But whos side is she on?

Of course I don’t say I’m right. This is just one of the many many many theories I have in my mind :) But I really like this one, so I figured, I’d write it down to discuss it with others :) I would really love to hear your opinions, feel free to get in touch!

Write What You Know (Not Necessarily What You’ve Experienced)

I’ve recently written a post about the true meaning behind the quote “good writers borrow; great writers steal.”

Well, another piece of writing advice has come under scrutiny lately, so I’m here to explain the meaning behind “write what you know.”

“Write what you know” really means “write what you understand.”

Many people interpret “write what you know” to mean “write about what you have experienced for yourself,” but that’s obviously silly advice. If everyone followed it, libraries would be much, much smaller. Writing is about using your imagination to explore worlds of possibilities. Bits and pieces of your personal history will of course come into play, but they should always be presented in new and interesting ways. Otherwise, writers would be too bored to actually finish their stories.

When people you think you should probably trust tell you to “write what you know,” they aren’t telling you to fictionalise your own memoir. They’re telling you to write about the things that you understand

A novel may be a great series of lies, but there must be truth at the centre of it all and that truth is a direct result of, and in correlation to, the author’s understanding of their subject matter.

For an author, this means a couple of things:

You should always be able to empathise with your characters. You should be able to tap into your emotions, your passions, your relationships to inform their emotions, their passions, their relationships.

If you’re writing a scene about two people walking along the Seine at midnight unable to admit their true feelings for each other, you don’t need to have traveled to Paris or walked along the Seine or talked about the moon on the water when really all you wanted to say was that the same moonlight was making the other person look very pretty that night.

What you need is to know what it is to take a walk in a place that is romantic no matter if romance is taking place there, to have wanted to say something but been too afraid to say it, to be filled with hope and fear and misery and joy all at the same time.

You should always be able to feel the heart of the scene, instead of simply imagining it.

If you can’t put yourself directly into your character’s shoes, they’ll wind up saying or doing something that won’t quite ring true.

You should always be both interested in and knowledgable about the topics and settings that find their way into your stories.

You don’t have to be an archaeologist to write an Indiana Jones novel, but a healthy fascination with people like T.E. Lawrence, Roy Chapman Andrews, and Gertrude Bell should probably come into play.

You should always not only be knowledgable about the topic you’re writing about, but care for it. You should be able to understand why Indy says it belongs in a museum!!” You should understand why your characters feel passionate about whatever they’re engaging in, because you share some of that passion. (Even if you wouldn’t dream of digging around in a desert yourself.)

It’s okay if you don’t know very much about a topic when you first get an idea for a book, but after doing some research about it, you should connect to the material in some way.

As long as you’re interested in a topic or place, you’re not breaking the “write what you know” rule by taking the time to understand something you hadn’t when you first imagined your story.

What’s more: write the kind of story you enjoy reading.

That sounds a little obvious, but people try to write stories they wouldn’t actually enjoy reading themselves all of the time.

If you love reading YA fantasy novels, but feel compelled to write the next Great Literary American Novel, you’re not writing the sort of story you’re familiar with–that you’re passionate about–and that will show on every single page. Those are two very different sort of books. If you love reading YA, exclusively read YA, but try to write the GLAN, you’re not writing what you know. You’re probably not even writing something you truly care about.

And if you find the story you’re writing dull and uninteresting, any reader will probably feel the same way.

If someone has read your work and says something along the lines of “you should stick to writing what you know…”

What they’re really saying is that something isn’t resonating as true. That somehow, it doesn’t feel quite real. That they don’t think the characters’ emotional reactions are what they’d be in real life. Or that Indiana Jones is supposed to be a renowned archaeologist, but he doesn’t seem to know much about archaeology???

When they say this, they’re not telling you to go get a degree in archaeology or that in order to write that romantic scene, you must fall in love with someone, walk along the Seine with them, and then write what about what you felt in that moment.

They’re letting you know that there is a disconnect somewhere between you and the writing. That they can tell you haven’t put enough of yourself in this story. That the circles don’t overlap as much as they should in the venn diagram between the knowledge, emotions, and interests the story requires and the knowledge you possess, the emotions you’ve felt, and the interests you invest in.

When somebody says “write what you know,” ask yourself:

  • if you’ve really done enough research on this topic–if you actually want to write about this topic enough to do the required research
  • if there’s another emotional well you can draw from to understand how a character might be feeling, how they might react to a circumstance
  • if this book is one that you yourself would pick up from a library shelf.

And make sure there’s a core of truth within those all those lies.

I beg of you, do not let me die alone with this infinite sadness. I want to feel loved even if it is only for a split second. I want to know that somebody loves me the way I love them- passionately. My dear soulmate, my one true love, if you’re out there, if you’re waiting for me as I am waiting for you, please find me as fast as you possibly can. My life seems to be slipping away and before it’s too late, come love me with everything you have. Find your way to me as I am trying to find my way to you. Don’t let me die alone. Come find me.

Hi! I was wondering if you have a personal headcanon on what kind of MC would suit each character best personality wise ^^

I do have some ideas! These are just my thoughts and interpretations, reading it over again, I feel like I’ve missed things so I might come back to add to them later but for now, I’m satisfied!

Zen:

  • Somebody who pays attention to him but doesn’t spoil him too much.
  • Somebody who loves him and stays with him and never betrays him.
  • Somebody fun and up for anything but not anybody who takes risks, he wants them to treasure themselves.
  • SOMEBODY WHO URGES HIM TO TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF
  • He just needs somebody who makes him feel like he’s needed, like he’s loved.
  • Someone upbeat and cheerful yet empathic would be a good match for him I believe!

Yoosung:

  • Somebody who understands what he’s going through, someone who is able to understand him.
  • Somebody caring and pays attention to him and his habits.
  • Somebody who is a good listener.
  • Somebody who makes his heart pound and makes him weak at the knees.
  • Somebody who lets him compliment them to death.
  • Somebody who accepts all of him.
  • Somebody who is mature on the outside (big sister sort of feel) but when they’re alone with Yoosung, they become childish.

Jaehee:

  • Somebody sensible but also pretty active and energetic.
  • Someone who gets Jaehee up and moving y'know.
  • Somebody mature but also gets a bit childish at times so Jaehee can have a bit more excitement.
  • Somebody (just like Zen) who helps Jaehee tAKE CARE OF HERSELF BETTER (burn the convenience store bento)
  • Somebody who is understanding and a good listener but also a bit talkative themselves.

Jumin: (I’ve thought about this one a lot)

  • Somebody who is a bit quiet and knows their ‘boundaries’.
  • BUT ALSO SOMEONE WHO ISN’T AFRAID FOR A BIT OF CONFRONTATION.
  • Somebody who stands up for what they want and won’t let anybody hinder them.
  • They need to agree with Jumin sometimes.
  • But other times, a bit of head-to-head combat isn’t bad!
  • So basically, somebody who knows limits but is strong and not afraid of what others think.
  • Jumin would love to be the dominant one in the relationship, somebody who makes him feel like this is great.
  • BUT YOU CAN’T LET HIM GET TOO CAUGHT UP IN IT, THIS PERSON HAS TO BRING HIM BACK TO REALITY EVERY NOW AND THEN

707:

  • Somebody dorky and goes along with everything he does.
  • Somebody who isn’t afraid of some adventure.
  • Somebody who isn’t too nosy but does get a bit nosy when Seven tries to keep worries he would be better off sharing.
  • Somebody who is understanding and always by his side.
  • Somebody who will never leave him or misunderstand him.
  • Somebody who limits his diet consisting of chips and dr pepper
  • Somebody who doesn’t mind if he likes his brother more than them

V:

  • Somebody serene and very smiley.
  • Somebody who is able to go along with V’s whims.
  • Somebody who talks a lot.
  • Somebody who is able to poke the secrets out of him.
  • Somebody who he can rely on and share burden with.
  • Somebody who can assure V that they’ll always be there and never leave him alone in the dark.

Saeran:

  • Somebody who isn’t afraid of a little glare here and there.
  • Somebody who is able to entice the ‘puppy’ out of the 'guard dog’.
  • Somebody he feels he can trust.
  • Somebody who is 100% truthful and would never tell a lie.
  • Somebody he can let his guard around.
  • Somebody who is lively and energetic.
  • Somebody who is pretty stubborn (as in the sense that they can get Saeran out of his moods and get him to do something important like eat or tend to his injuries)
  • Somebody loving and nurturing, mother-like can be used to explain it but not too much.

How can you have parents and not have them at the same time?

My mom never talked to me about relationships, about how people change, about this fucked-up world, about money, she did not even tell me about periods. I had to find it all out on my own. Little did I know, when I let that boy walk in and out of my heart, that he was going to rip my soul into pieces. Little did I know that one of my best friends was going to become much stranger than strangers. Little did I know that somebody may say they love you, but they may not mean it. Little did I know that feelings change, one day you could sleep with the person you love and wake up with someone you don’t.

My dad never talked to me about boys, about that being yourself is everything, about not letting people bring you down, about religion, about sex. I had to find it all out on my own. Now I know that some boys only need you when they need sex. I know that people can betray you, but this doesn’t mean that they are bad, or that you are. It just means that people are people and we often make mistakes, it’s okay. We go through it, we learn, we move forward. I know that to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. I know that you may be soulmates with someone, but not end up together. I know that life has a lot of wonderful moments to offer, but between them you may want to die. I know that my religion is simple, my religion is kindness.

I taught myself to grow from the dirt that they left me in.

How can you have parents and not have them at the same time?

The hardest part of losing someone you love is trying to figure out who you were before they came into your life. It is learning how to cope with their absence, learning how to deal with the silence of a room - how it used to be comforting but now it serves as a reminder that you’re alone once again. It is finding pieces of them in everything that you do. It is waking up in the morning expecting their name to pop up on your phone but being hit by that crushing feeling that the routine you once went through life with, is no longer real. It’s done. It’s over. And that realization will crush you every day until it becomes easier.

The hardest part of losing someone you love is standing by the sidelines watching everyone new come into their life and changing them in ways that you start wondering who they are, but because you no longer have that bond to tie them down with, you can’t do anything but watch. Watch as the person you once knew, the person you told all your secrets to, the one who stayed up all night with you to listen to your worries, the one who was there become the one who left. You watch them change while you stay stuck in the past, while you’re still rooted to the very day they left you, still holding onto a thin, thin thread with hope that some part of them will come back and apologize one day.

The hardest part of losing someone is going to bed knowing everyday will be a repeat of what you should have already accepted by now. It’s done. It’s over. The hardest part of losing someone is that it was them, they were it, it has always been them. But it was never you - it stopped being you. The hardest part of losing someone you love is trying to see yourself with somebody better, it is the fear of never finding a love as true and beautiful as what you’ve lost.

But as hard as it may seem to look ahead, know that you will be okay. You can cry as long and as much as you want, but understand that this pain will not last forever. Learn to let go at your own terms. You will be okay, I promise you. That’s how life goes - you lose people. You lose people that you love and they lose you, but you have to keep going. You’ll learn that some are meant to be lessons, experiences, some are forever, a little while, not long, but that’s part of living. It’ll be okay.

Hi friends! I’m back with another quote masterpost. As an aspiring author, fellow writers never cease to amaze me with their wisdom, with their humbleness, but most importantly, with their words. These quotes aren’t necessarily motivational, but nevertheless, I had a great time researching the authors and their quotes. Though I did as much research as I saw necessary, everyone makes mistakes, so if you think one of the quotes in this post belong to another person, be sure to let me know! I made this with bullet journals in mind, but do with these quotes what you wish. I hope you enjoy, and all of you have a great day!

Being in a relationship with Jeff the Killer

Requested by @imacrackshipper (I’m doing Liu as well, I’ll post him later.)

Many members of the crew have alternate forms granted by their “employer” for the purpose of doing everyday tasks and blending into society. And since Jeff has a sort of contract with Slender, one of the ones able to grant these alternate forms, he has one. It looks normal enough to pass as human, but it is very, very scarred.

Although he kills and definitely has more issues that need to be dealt with than some of the others, there’s still a part of him with some humanity left to spare. And he can actually be pretty sweet, though very stubborn, when around the object of his affections.

He refuses to even consider entering into a relationship with them until he’s taken them out on at least one date. And if he had his way about it, he’d take them on far more than that before ever trying to get them into a committed relationship with him.

Not being nearly as confident as he likes to make everyone believe, he tends to be quite nervous and jittery when talking about his feelings. And the better he knows the person, and what they like, how they really feel about him, etc… The less likely he is to act that way.

When the relationship is finally established it will take him months, possibly even a year or longer before he’ll open up and share more personal details about himself. He’ll start with small things at first and if he sees that they react well to them, he’ll move on to some of the more complicated parts of his past.

If they stick around after the most unpleasant moments of his past have been explained, and they still accept and treat him the same, he’ll show them what he really looks like. Being that they’d probably be very shocked, he would inwardly cringe upon seeing the expression on their face; sure that they were going scream, or call him a monster, or run away, or perhaps a combination of the three.

He was sure that they would reject him and would be in total shock when they did none of the above, but instead wrapped their arms around him and told that they were his, no matter what he looked like, as he had won them over with his personality and not his appearance.

After that, the relationship that he was hesitant to let form would be in full swing.

  • He would try as hard as he possibly could to keep his lover out of his line of work, not wanting them to get hurt or worse, have to lose their mortality, at least some of their humanity, and become a creep
  • He would still take them on dates as much as he possibly could, but it becomes rather hard to go out in public with somebody that, thanks to a few certain blabbermouths (looking at you, Toby and EJ), all of his enemies know as his significant other and would love to get their hands on
  • He would have to let everything temporarily regenerate or use his more normal-ish form to do so, but he would practically beg for kisses on as regular a basis as possible. He’s the type to fake injury, or cause actual harm to himself, and insist that his s/o “kiss it and make it better,” just so that he could get attention from them.
  • He doesn’t do it often, but whenever something gets to him enough that it makes him tear up, he’ll bury his head in the crook of their neck and sit there, letting silent tears cascade down his face.
  • Smile would become their new furry best friend, no exceptions. Anybody important to his master is equally as important to him. If they ever stayed at Jeff’s place he would stay by their side the entire time they were around, insisting on being their guard dog despite the fact that, with his master around, there would really be no need for it.
  • He would kill for his s/o in a heartbeat as long as the person was deserving. As insinuated above, he wouldn’t want them to lose their humanity, so he wouldn’t kill just anyone. But if somebody hurt his significant other or somebody that they cared for enough, he would slaughter them. Anything that didn’t require murder would lead to him stalking and scaring the daylights out of them for a week or so until they agreed to stop the offensive behavior.
  • He would love to relax with his s/o on his nights off, insisting on snuggling up to them on the couch and popping in a movie, most-likely of the horror genre, to watch as they did so.

i mean, i just want to lay in some grass land with someone. who’ll tell me stories and let me lay my head on their lap or stomach.

i mean, i just want to know about somebody; everything. right down to their core.

i mean, i’m tired of all this half knowing people; and half guessing who they are. and always being careful what i say.

i mean, i just want to know somebody. that way. properly. to be able to see them with clarity; even when they try to hide from me.

i guess, i think that’s what love is. and friendship. family. not feeling like you have to hide, and knowing you couldn’t hide from that person even if you wanted to.

i mean, i guess that’s what i want. someone i don’t have to hide from.
