Sheepishly, Jungkook smiles and rubs the back of his neck. “Yeah, sorta.”

At his nonchalance, you lightly smack his chest; it’s not like he’s going to feel anything if you straight out punch him anyway. “He’s totally right!”

You didn’t believe in magic. At least not anytime after you turned nine years old. But then… You woke up that morning.

You started by noticing you weren’t in your bedroom, was it… Lin’s bedroom? Movie posters, comic books and many, many cassettes, yeah, that was definitely Lin’s bedroom. But you didn’t sleep with him last night, you remembered clearly the moment he dropped you home like he always did and went back to his place.

As your hand moved to your face trying to wake yourself up when you felt… Was that facial hair? Since when did you have a stubble? All the drowsiness that you could possibly have just vanished when you got up from the small bed and ran to the the mirror. You couldn’t blame the dim light coming through the curtains for that.

You were Lin-Manuel.

Worse, you were yourself trapped in Lin-Manuel’s body.

Seokjin

Jin is handsome. He knew it, his fans knew it, and obviously, so do you. But with great beauty, comes great responsibility, and it seems like your boyfriend abuses his good-looks. Jin oozes narcissism. At times it was funny, charming in fact, but there’s only so much of it one could take. Sometimes consequences need to be dealt out to the arrogant. With just enough persistence and creativity, you’ve came up with the perfect plan. You awaited his arrival at the airport, your hoodie zipped up hiding your brilliance. Jin and the boys’ plane had landed and now they were only a few feet away from you. When you were absolutely positive Jin was looking right at you - and you could tell he had by the way he suddenly picked up his pace to a brisk jog your direction - you unzipped your hoodie, revealed your t-shirt with a rather… unattractive picture of him that his Army has turned into a meme printed on the front. You lifted your arms up high, allowing Jin, the boys, and the lucky bystanders to bask in its glory. As Namjoon, Yoongi, Hobi, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook all erupted into laughter, Jin struggled to reprimand you between fits of giggles.

“Wha - jagiyaahh~! How could you betray me?!”

“What have I done to deserve this?!”

“Do you think this was right?! I demand respect!”

Devotion

Jasper Hale imagine requested by anon. “hi! could you do a jasper fic where the cullens all leave for a hunting trip to lo-key give jaz and y/n some alone time in the house? like theyve been dating for months and jasper and y/n make love for the first time and shes super nervous because shes a virgin and its super tender and sweet? thanks!” Hope you like it!

WARNING: SMUT

Your parents were under the assumption that you and your boyfriend’s twin sister were spending the weekend in her adopted parents’ home while the Cullen boys went camping on Mt. Rainier; as innocent a gathering as could be expected. In their eyes, there was absolutely nothing to be worried about; their daughter was spending time with a respectable family, under the watchful eye of the doctor’s lovely wife Esme, surrounded by her charming boyfriend’s female sibling… only the camping trip wasn’t as exclusive as you had let on, and you would instead be spending time at the Cullen residence with Jasper. He had come to escort you to his home, dressed to the nines in the best hiking gear money could buy, shaking your father’s hand with a polite smile before leading you into the passenger seat of the silver Volvo he had borrowed from his brother. It may have been suggested that his brother’s car was a safer option than his motorcycle, and with the understanding that you preferred your father didn’t collapse into cardiac arrest, Jasper had agreed to sacrifice his preferred mode of transportation for the unassuming vehicle you now found yourself within. Jasper slid effortlessly into the driver’s seat, bidding your parents goodnight before settling in beside you, sealing the normalcy of the world away with the hushed suction of a closing door. It wasn’t long before the delectable scent of him flooded your airspace, perfuming your world with hints of lavender and sandalwood, intoxicating you with the sheer beauty of his presence. His eyes remained glued on the rear-view mirror as he backed out of your driveway, exhibiting proper driving technique while in your parents’ line of sight, proceeding down your street for at least a minute before his hand found yours between the seats, the chill of his skin soothing the worry from your brow. The entirety of his family was as far north as Canada on a hunting trip. You and Jasper would be completely alone.

“Hey, relax, darlin’. It’s just me,” he whispered, his butterscotch eyes finding yours within the dimly-lit cabin of the Volvo, his features illuminated by the neon of the dashboard instruments. He had no need to look at the road; his peripheral vision was just as attentive as his eyes were on you, and his reflexes quicker than anything that could possibly present as an obstacle in front of your vehicle. His thumb traced circles against the backside of your hand, massaging the stress from your body, if not your mind. Sure, it was just him. He couldn’t have stated the sole reason behind the surges of anxiety that flooded your body any simpler than that; it was just him, and just you, alone together for an entire weekend. It was a major advance in your relationship, and he was a poster child for collected calm, as if tonight were no different than any other. You ducked your head, squeezing his hand lightly, marveling momentarily at the give of his alabaster skin… so hard, yet so soft. You wondered, briefly, how the rest of him might feel… You straightened your thoughts, tidying the corners of your mind until every last straying image was safely swept into order, thanking your lucky stars that Jasper wasn’t the family’s mind reader. Jasper didn’t ask what had you so wrought with tension; you had a good idea he knew, but was far too polite to voice his suspicions, a perfect Southern gentleman to the very end. Instead, his mind flooded through the stagnant air and into yours, warming your limbs in waves as a feather-light cloak of ease hushed over your body, his eyes fighting to coax yours out of hiding before he settled for merely gazing in your direction. “I love you,” he promised, his whisper low and aflame with the heat of his truth, the tenor of his voice ringing with honesty as his eyes burnt twin holes in your temple. You lifted your gaze to his, losing yourself briefly in the honey of his stare, his smile eliciting your own as he turned the steering wheel, his grip so certain, so sure, his eyes only leaving yours for a moment. When the hypnosis of his eyes was broken, you redirected your eyes to stare aimlessly out the window, watching the cedars pass in blurred patches of emerald darkened and diluted by the ink of the night.

“I’m okay, Jasper. You don’t have to… calm me down,” you chuckled, your laugh almost foreign to your own ears, speaking to the reflection of his eyes mirrored in the glare the utilities projected onto the glass of the window. “I’m good, really. Thank you, though, for offering. You’re a sweetheart.” Jasper’s brow lifted in disbelief, hearing the confident lie roll from between your lips on the back of a wave of compromising emotion, your unease as plain to him as your voice was clear. You rolled your eyes, smirking as you tightened your hold on his hand. “Alright, I’m a little upset that Rose won’t be joining us. You’ve caught me.” Jasper let loose a quiet laugh, his lips thin as he fought the urge to bend to your humour, his mind still obviously distracted by your physical discomfort. Even if he were unable to taste the tone of your emotions, he would have heard the stammer of your heart as it frantically sought an escape route through the spaces between your ribs. He shook his head a fraction, as if to align his thoughts, his palm spreading over your knee, gently smoothing over your denim with a more human breed of comfort, leaving your reasoning to stand alone, no prodding or inquiries involved. You watched the forest flash by, your heart thrumming in your chest like the wings of a hummingbird, your pulse skyrocketing as Jasper pulled into the extended driveway leading to the Cullen household. He sighed to hear so obvious a sign of distress, his lips pressed into a fine line when you turned to address the sound, his eyes concerned as he analyzed the winding path through the thick of the forest. You were silent when the car pulled up before the intimidating house, your hands clasped in your lap as Jasper removed the keys from the ignition, quieting the engine and enhancing the leaden stillness that surrounded the two of you. He exhaled deeply, turning in his seat until he was facing you straight-on, his hands reaching for yours, the smooth marble of his skin sparking against you, adrenaline coursing through your veins like venom.

“Y/n, would you please let me help you?” he asked, his voice pleading and sincere, you met his eye, smiling halfheartedly, your cheeks burning with the flow of blood that rushed to warm your face. His brow knotted with helpless worry, his eyes bright with the extent of his agitation to see you so restless. “At least tell me why you’re so nervous?” he pleaded, his palm covering your own, sending thrills roiling through to settle in the pit of your stomach, your body warm beneath his comparably frigid touch. You shrugged, searching for words polite enough, innocent enough, harmless enough that you wouldn’t end up offending or causing any confusion. Jasper’s hand extending toward your face, cradling your cheek in the silken palm of his hand, his thumb working over your cheekbone, brushing just beneath your eye. “There’s nothing to be afraid of. You can tell me anything, darlin’, it’s part of the package. Trust me, there’s nothing you could say that would drive me away, nothing you could say that’d… wound me. I’m virtually indestructible, remember?” you giggled then, surprised at the tremor in your voice, your eyes watering just slightly, your cheeks burning brighter as you became aware of the sensation. Jasper’s hand remained on your cheek, his fingers coaxing an answer from your lips, or perhaps your mind, his eyes anxiously awaiting your reply. You felt the air rush from your lungs, your brain resolving to spill your fear at his feet before your body could revert to your more primal instincts and reject your intention.

“I’m just…” you paused briefly, your heart seizing in your chest, prompting Jasper to respond with a much-needed surge of calm. You cleared your throat then, your eyes finding his in the dark. “Thanks. I’m just… I know what this is about.” Your words hung in the air, speaking volumes while saying so little. Jasper’s jaw clenched visibly, catching the intention behind your blanketed statement, his hand moving downward to rest against your neck, your pulse racing beneath his palm, his skin tantalizing yours. He didn’t make any move to speak, or to leave the vehicle, awaiting further explanation despite his clear understanding. “I mean, I guess it’s just… we’re alone, Jasper. Truly alone, and I…” your voice trailed off, your eyes melting into his, the tides of borrowed calm lapping at your feet as Jasper lent you the ease to continue. “I’ve never done this before.” Realization flickered behind his eyes for the briefest moment before quickly, professionally, he returned to his previous standing, his features open and curious. “I’m just nervous, is all.” Jasper grinned sympathetically, his eyes dancing on yours.

“Terrified, it feels like.” You lowered your gaze, embarrassed, only to find Jasper’s index finger at your chin, lifting you back to meet his eyes, his features soft and gentle. “We’re not going to do anything you aren’t prepared to do, you have my word as a gentleman. It’s enough for me just to spend time with you, no time constraints, no prying eyes, no interruptions. I’m in this for you, Y/n, and nothing else. I love you. If you want to go slow, we’ll go slow. We can crawl forward, for all I care, so long as we’re together. I am perfectly content with whatever you choose to do.” You smiled, thankful, leaning toward him to close the space between you, your lips pressing against his. He returned the tender affection you offered to him, his lips molding to fit yours perfectly, his hand winding through your hair, holding you as delicately as if you were made of glass, separating only when the car’s headlights clicked off from lack of movement. “You ready? To head inside, I mean?” You giggled, nodding your confirmation to his double-edged inquiry, your heart leaping in your chest when he disappeared from his seat, your door opening swiftly at your side. Within a single breath, he had lifted you from the seat, holding you in his arms like a newlywed bride, kicking the door closed before walking as easily as if he were unburdened towards your house, abandoning your overnight bag in the backseat. You laughed aloud at his pageantry, his eyes rolling at your reaction. “It seemed appropriate, Miss, to walk you over the threshold. I’m attempting romance; don’t go injuring my ego.” He continued forward, smirking when you mumbled pointedly about his claim of indestructibility. He strode over the polished floorboards, pressing a kiss to your hairline when you clung to his shoulders after he set you on the couch. You wrapped your arms around his neck, refusing to release your grip as he moved to stand, your heart racing as he playfully fell on top of you, bent by your iron strength. His lips pressed against your throat, his honey hair sweeping against your cheek as he wrestled with your human weakness, contorting until you were cradled in his arms, his eyes glowing warmly behind the thick fringe of his eyelashes. He paused, then, noticing for the first time the subtle shift in your emotions. “What…?” he began, your lips pressing to the corner of his mouth.

“I’m…” you began, your voice feeble and weak, your fingers threading through the golden strands of his hair, his eyelids fluttering at your touch, searching yours for answers you had yet to properly advocate. You returned his open stare, your hands trembling as they cupped his cheeks, your thumbs stammering over his cheekbones. “Jasper…” His breathing was shallower, quicker, his lips parting as he prepared to speak.

“I thought you were…” you inhaled the scent of him, so much stronger now that you were all but pressed against each other, watching him come to his conclusions. “You said you were nervous? You’re still nervous, I can… I can feel it, but…” his voice trailed off, his head shaking once between your hands. “Y/n,” he breathed, your name an oath on his lips. “Do you want this?” Your cheeks burned under his stare, your heart thrumming with a strength you hadn’t imagined possible, your head nodding when you found your voice had failed you. Jasper swallowed then, his voice producing a soft, sensuous tone, blossoming into the silence instead of interrupting it. “You’re sure?” You nodded once more, pressing your lips to his as you finally spoke your reply.

“Yes.” He moved against you as you had never known him to move, his tongue darting over your lip with a slow, sugared patience, his arms wrapping securely beneath you before he moved to stand, hoisting you once more into his arms, his lips never parting from yours. His body was marble-hard beneath your hands as he ghosted up the stairway, moving with inhuman speed to the sanctity of his bedroom. He laid you atop his sheets, resting your head against his pillows, moving to hover over you in the same movement, his weight suspended above you. He tucked a stray strand of your hair behind your ear, his fingertip lingering on your jaw, his eyes lavishing you as if you were the most precious stone, or perhaps an idol forgotten by all but him. He waited for your approval, his eyes watching yours, a delightfully warm sense of calm licking at the soles of your feet when your nerves tightened in your stomach. “There’s no need. I’m okay.” He arched his brow, his influence retracting as you stroked his cheek, your touch tender as you worshiped his flesh. “I love you, Jasper.” His eyes burned from within, his lips repeating your vow as he descended on your lips.

“I love you.” He melted against you, his every muscle, every inch of his skin pressing against your body, his fingers working the fabric from your waist, parting from his kiss to remove your garment completely. You shied away from his gaze for the span of a minute, opening once again when he had removed his own shirt, his hands tentatively caressing the skin at the bottom of your rib cage. “So beautiful…” he whispered, his lips lowering to press slow, honeyed kiss to your abdomen. Your hands instinctively tangled in his hair as his hands worked the button of your jeans, undoing your pants and working them from your legs, leaving you bare before him in your undergarments. His hands found your hips, then, lifting you from the sheets until you were pressed against his chest. Your fingertips trailed curiously down the center of his chest, reaching lower and lower until you discovered the waistline of his jeans. His breath caught with your own when, surprising the both of you, your hand wandered further south, brushing timidly against the bulge his pants concealed. His eyes met yours then, blurred by the relative darkness, boring holes into your very soul. He was still in your arms, moving only when you did, your hand shifting along the coarse denim as you traveled upward to unbutton his pants. His chest expanded beautifully, his lips crashing against yours, moving swiftly to the line of your jaw, marking you with fervent kisses. You worked the button loose, and Jasper was standing by the bed, kicking his pants off entirely before crawling above you, his hand ghosting over the cup of your bra. You thrilled at the contact, arching your back to make the process of unhooking the garment easier. You wriggled free of your straps, watching Jasper’s eyes devour the sight of your uncovered chest, his hands moving with a patient slowness to cup your breast in the palm of his hand. Your breath rushed from your lungs, Jasper’s eyes flitting to your face, your lips parted in bliss. He smiled, then, before his fingers were working beneath the waistband of your underwear, slipping the fabric down your legs until it no longer clung to your body. He pulled you once more into a kneeling position, his eyes hungry on yours.

Your heart hammered in your chest, your nerves alight with naked electricity as Jasper knelt before you, removing the last piece of clothing that masked the full glory of his chiseled body, his eyes never leaving your face as he worked himself free of his underwear, his erection uncovered, the both of you bare before each other. You inched toward him instinctively, his body reacting in a similar fashion, his hands closing around your waist as he dissolved the distance between you. His palms stroked your hips as his lips found yours, his passion translating fluidly from his mouth to yours, his hands clinging to your back as he settled you back against the pillows, his body arching over yours. Your hands moved to tangle once more in his hair, stopping suddenly in their path as Jasper’s hand caught your wrist, his eyes on yours as he kissed the tips of your fingers. You pressed on, your hands at the nape of his neck, his eyelids closed in bliss as your lips found the muscle of his shoulder, a small sound of pleasure escaping from between his lips. He hovered over you, straightening moments later, his hands parting your legs with gentle precision. He nestled himself between your thighs, his eyes never once leaving your burning face, his hands massaging the creases of your hips. You nodded, almost desperately, reaching to pull his body back over yours as he prodded against your entrance. Your mouth opened at the carnal contact, your cheeks warm with the fire of your blood as Jasper eased himself inside of you, his eyes burning with a heat you didn’t know him capable of as he shifted his hips, working himself deep within you. He moved slowly then, until he stilled, his lips at your ear, pressing a kiss to your cheek before speaking your name. Your fingers clung to his back, urging him forward.

He obliged, thrusting deep within you, his movements subtle and captivating, his every shudder sending you gasping for breath where none existed. He rolled his hips, his lips on your neck, your hands grasping for a holding on his shoulders. He moved slowly, patiently, enjoying and allowing you to enjoy every sensitive inch of him inside you, his hand moving to grasp your hip as he thrust within you. He rolled sideways, lifting you with his movement until you rested on top of him, his arms propelling him to a seated position, his hands deftly re-positioning your legs until they wrapped more securely around his waist. His eyes, heavy-lidded, were locked on yours like a magnet as he lifted your hips and lowered you onto him, your breath rushing from your lungs, carrying his name on a low moan. He smiled, pressing his joy to your collarbone as be repeated the movement, your voice producing sound without formulating words. Jasper’s movements became faster, though never rushed or hurried, his hands grasping your hips with a tender security, his breathing laboured as your body began to tremble. Your mind was clouded, the pulses of his hips meeting your own sending deafening waves of pleasure through your body, concentrated at the meeting of your bodies. Your mouth was open over a wordless cry as you clung to all you could, holding his gaze with the will of one desperate for salvation, your breathless whisper of his name the last conscious sound you made before you collapsed against his chest, your body humming with ecstasy. He shuddered beneath you, thrusting through his high, his hands smoothing over the curve of your spine before he stilled within you, his head tipping backwards. You lifted your face from his shoulder, resting your forehead against his, catching your breath together, your fingers tracing the lines of his cheekbones. He smiled, breathless with love, his hands cradling your cheeks to bring your lips to his, punctuating the night with the sweetness of a kiss.

He held you as you both collapsed to the sheets, your legs tangled blissfully, your cheek resting on the firm muscle of his chest. He reached blindly for his bed sheets, covering what he could of your body before resting fully against the pillows. You traced the lines of his chest, your heart calming as your breath regained stability. Jasper’s fingers toyed absentmindedly with strands of your hair, his quiet breathing lulling you to sleep, your bodies melted together as evidence of your devotion, safe in the comfort of his loving arms.

Young God

Jughead x Reader

It’s approaching the last night that the drive through is open, so you and your boyfriend Jughead try to make the best of it. Based off the requested song: Young God by Halsey

Warnings: emotions, kissing, and more emotions

Word Count: 2,027

A/N: I think this is angst? I tried my hardest to get the feel right! AHHH I hope you guys like it. I hope it’s okay

he says “oh baby girl, you know we’re gonna be legends

i’m the king and you’re the queen and we will stumble through heaven.”

The drive-in was Jughead’s favorite place to be besides next to you. It was a bit weird to call him your boyfriend, since you had only been best friends since kindergarten. You were there for Jug over the summer when no one else was, and your feelings that had been right under the surface came to light with late night talks, walking to and from Pop’s and of course, movie nights. It only took about half way through the summer for him to confess that he also had a crush on you, for nearly just as long. Half way through the summer is also when the town got flipped upside down at the announcement of Jason Blossom’s death and the news that the drive-in was going to be shut down. You stood by your boyfriend through all of it, and even supported him when he told you he wanted to start writing a novel about it. Not soon after, you told him you loved him. Only problem was, he hadn’t said those words back.

It was the day before the drive-in was supposed to close, and some of your friends were sitting around a table outside trying to decide what movie was going to be played. It had to be a good one, after all.

“What about Mean Girls?” Kevin suggests, sitting across from you, next to Betty and Veronica. You all stare at him for a moment, thinking it over.

“It is a cult classic.” Betty jumps in to defend his suggestion.

“No way is the last night in the drive-in going to be Mean Girls.” Jughead protests, his eyebrow furrowing as you lean in closer to him. He puts an arm around your waist out of sight from your other friends.

“What about Rebel Without A Cause?” you ask, looking up at him. It was the first movie you ever saw together as a couple, and you knew it was one of his favorites.

He smiles, giving your side a light squeeze, “That sounds perfect.”

“Of course he chooses your pick, you’re the queen of his universe.” Kevin chimes in, clearly annoyed that his pick wasn’t chosen. You guys also weren’t hiding the fact that you were in a relationship anymore. Things were too different when you got back to school, and your friends almost immediately noticed something was up. It only took them a week to get the details out from you.

“And he’s my king.” You smile, chuckling along with your friends.

Kevin made a gagging sound which furthered the laughter. It felt good to laugh like this with your friends, with Jughead. Jug had been so focused lately on trying to keep thing running and also his novel, you barely saw him smile anymore. It was always a good day when you could see him happy.

As the laughter dies down I can tell that Jug has something to say, because whenever he does, he bites his lip and his eyes can’t seem to focus.

“Will you all be there?” Jug asks, looking at all of them expectantly. You knew that this meant the world to him, and it would secretly break his heart if your other friends didn’t come.

“Of course, we wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Betty tells him, looking at Veronica afterwards. Ronnie just smiled and flipped her black hair over her shoulder.

“You heard what my girlfriend said, we’ll be there.” She smirks, nudging Betty on the shoulder. You were so wrapped up in your summer with Jughead you had almost forgotten that not soon after Veronica moved here, she asked out Betty. They had been nearly inseparable since.

Everyone then looked to Kevin, who put his hands up in surrender, “It’s not Mean Girls, but I’ll be there.”

That left Archie, who had decided not to join you today. You didn’t know if they had made up at all, but there was a point in the summer where you weren’t even allowed to say his name without receiving the silent treatment from Jughead. You and Betty passed silent words with each other as you gave her a look. She knew that Archie had to be  there, so she would do what she could to make him.

You felt Jug sigh in relief that everyone he cared about would be there. He wanted the last night to go well, and if he wanted it so did you.

Soon Betty and Ronnie and Kevin got up to leave, they had some English project they had to do, leaving you and Jughead alone.

You could tell he was a bit on edge, so you took his face in your hands and made him look at you, smiling softly at the way his hair curled just the right amount coming out of his beanie.

“It will be okay, I promise.” you say, placing a small kiss on his lips. You only could hope that your words remained true.

But do you feel like a young god?

You know the two of us are just young gods

“Why do you write?” you ask later that night, curled up with him on your bed. You fit together perfectly, your head on his chest and his hand playing with strands of your hair as you just enjoy being near each other. This has become a near nightly occurrence, him staying over at your house. He was welcome any time, as you knew what was going on with  his dad, but you still wonder if something else isn’t going on.

“It releases stress,” he says, taking pauses to think about what he says next, “it’s a surreal feeling when you’re the one in control… like you’re the only one in the universe who can write something the right way, and so you do.” he explains, staring at the ceiling.

You nod your head against his chest, trying to understand his brain. You had been best friends for so long, but he still hid parts of himself away from you. He had parts to himself that were for his eyes only.

You sit up slightly, looking at him with admiration. “Are you okay?” You ask.

“Of course, why wouldn’t I be?” he responds, joining you in sitting up. He rests his head on your shoulder, your back to his chest. He slowly begins placing small kisses on your neck, trailing up and down and back again. You tilt your head to the side to allow him more access.

“No reason, just wondering.” you lie. You know why you asked. You asked because you can tell that something is bothering him, something that he hasn’t told you. This is different from other things he hasn’t said. You know that there’s a portion of himself that he doesn’t like to share, but this is something different. He’s become distracted, preoccupied with something else entirely. He was more upset about the drive-in closing than he was letting on, and you wanted to know why.

“You’re thinking too much.” he says, a smile forming against your neck.

You turn to face him and press your lips to his, stopping him from speaking another word. He deepens the kiss, cupping the side of your face as his other hand slips under your shirt. Your breath hitches at his touch on the small of your back, his cold fingers tracing circles, driving you mad.

Your hand slips under his shirt, feeling his chest, committing to memory all the divots and crevices of his body. This boy was beautiful, and he was all yours. You pull his shirt off over his head, breaking your lips for him only to go back to your neck.

“Kevin was right.” he whispered.

You smile, “And you say I think too much?” you let out a small laugh, opening up your neck as he continues down your chest.

“You’re my queen.” he says.

He says, “Oh, baby girl, don’t get cut on my edges

I’m the king of everything and oh, my tongue is a weapon”

The drive-in was packed, cars lined up in neat rows, people in blankets. You and Jughead were near the back, a blanket laid out in the back of the truck your dad let you borrow for the night.

“It’s just about time.” you say, looking over him as you finish setting out the popcorn and drinks to the side. You hop in the truck and pat the space next to you for him to join you, “Everyone is here, even Archie.” you continue, gesturing to the cars and blankets next to you, your friends chatting about nothing.

Jughead looks nervous, his hands fiddling with each other, his leg shaking as he looks out over the crowd. He turns around and heads back to the building that plays the movie.

You follow close behind him, nearly chasing after him to see what’s going on. He enters through the back door and slams it shut. You hesitate to knock, unsure if he would let you in. You try the doorknob and it’s open, so you try to silently open the door. What you see stuns you as you let the door close.

There’s a small mattress in the middle of the room,  shirts and shorts thrown everywhere. There are posters over some of the walls and a small mirror hanging on the back of the room.

The projector sits neatly at the front, the only part of this room that is actually supposed to be there.

“Jug, what is all this?” you manage to get out. He looks up from his work at the projector, his eyes growing wide. He bites his lip, and then you know that this is what he had been keeping from you.

“(Y/N)! You’re not supposed to be here.” he says, frantically coming around to meet you. He tries to push you out but you stand your ground.

“Shit I’m not, have you been living here?” you demand, looking at him with fire in your eyes.

His body slumps, his eyes fall. “Yes.” he gives in, not daring to meet your gaze.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” your voice softens, stepping closer to him. Your heart broke for your boyfriend, upset that he hadn’t come to you about this sooner.

“Because…” he says, trailing off, his leg beginning to bounce again, his hands pulling at the edges of his beanie, bringing it down further over his head.

“Because?” you push, taking his hands in yours, making him look in your eyes. You just wanted him to be honest with you for once, you wanted to see the parts that he’s hidden.

“Because,, (Y/N).” he says, “Because I didn’t want you to think less of me. I didn’t want you to leave.”

He looks at you with sadness in his eyes. He was about to open his mouth to say something else, but you stopped him with a kiss.

Your hands go to cup either side of his face, his hands hesitant at first, still afraid. You deepen the kiss and he finally wraps you in his embrace. This is the moment you had been waiting for since the end of the summer, the moment when he would tell you, when he would finally open up. You didn’t imagine it exactly like this, but it was perfect, in your own little way.

“Jughead Jones the third,” you whisper against his lips, “I am not going anywhere.” You say making him believe it.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.” he whispers in return.

“Don’t be, just no more secrets, okay?” you ask, pressing your forehead to his, looking in his eyes.

“Okay.” he says, and then suddenly pulls you down to the makeshift mattress, you falling next to him. He was on top of you, placing light kisses down your neck as  the movie began to roll in the background, “there is one more thing I haven’t told you yet.”

“And what would that be?” you smile.

“I love you, (Y/N).”

Day Two | Part 2

Summary: You have a crush on Peter, but Peter has eyes for someone else. Will you ever get the boy of your dreams or will you have to remain friends and move on?

Characters: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) x Reader

Warnings: None

Word Count: 1,533

A/N: ANOTHER ONE! Thank you all for the feedback on Day One! I can’t believe how many of you guys are excited for this series. Anyways, enjoy, and don’t kill me. Part 1 can be found here.

When you got home yesterday, a nap turned into a full night’s sleep. When you woke up, you had about a dozen text messages from Peter. You didn’t bother opening them, instead you got up and went to shower. You looked at yourself in the mirror and had puffy eyes. You could only hope they would be gone by the time you got to school because you didn’t want anyone asking what was wrong. As soon as you thought of it, you remembered that you had to help Peter today. You were scared for him that he would be rejected, but who would reject a sweet person like Peter?

You sighed and started your shower, and your mind was running through every scenario that could possibly happen today. You had to think of what would happen if Liz said yes or if Liz said no, and ways to congratulate or comfort Peter. You just knew today wasn’t going to be easy at all. When you got out of the shower, you walked to your closet and pulled out denim jeans and a floral Hawaiian shirt, it was a simple outfit, but it got the job done for today’s theme. You didn’t bother with your appearance today, you just combed your hair and went to the kitchen where you grabbed a granola bar and a banana, and that was your breakfast. You hoped as you walked down the stairs that you wouldn’t run into Peter. It was too early to deal with him right now.

Your Time (M)

Smut /// Nerd!Baekhyun

You flip through the manga’s lining his windowsill; you’d just finished running your hands through the ones in his bookshelf. Baekhyun was lounging on his bed with his leg dangling off the edge. He had one of those double decker beds without the bed at the bottom instead the space was crammed with his computer and posters for old timey movies.

You toss your jean jacket onto the chair, dirtying the spotless room with the item. You could feel his eyes wandering off his manga and onto the chair in an instant.

anonymous asked:

Can I request a fic with young, prefall Jack Morrison and/or Gabriel Reyes? Reader is a new recruit and after seeing one or both of the men she makes a side comment to her friend about their attractiveness but they hear her.

((A/N - Reader and friend kept gender neutral so can hopefully be suitable for everyone. Please let me know of any errors, and I hope you enjoy!))

To say you were nervous was an understatement. It wasn’t butterflies in your stomach, more like over excitable bats flittering around making you want to churn. Today was the day where you and the other trainees found out if you were accepted into Overwatch.

You personally hadn’t experienced any wrongdoings with hostile Omnics, but you could definitely see that the world was going to shit because of it. You didn’t want to be one of those people perched on their high horses - you wanted to help.

After months of vigorous training and battling through harsh conditions that weeded out the weak, you had made it to the end. Your body had changed in that time, become leaner and faster. You’d be surprised if you weren’t accepted.

Straightening the light blue blazer you had been assigned to wear for today, you glanced in the mirror. You wondered how many people had worn it. How many people had worn their heart on their sleeve from not being able to join. Grimacing in disgust at yourself, you carefully rolled the sleeves up, showing the white fabric lining. That’s better, you thought.

Tap tap.

You turned and faced the door, adjusting your hair slightly.

“It’s open!”

The door handle turned and in walked one of your friends that you had made throughout the rigorous training.

“Hey, love. You ready? The car’s here”
You nodded, walking over the threshold. You grabbed your keys and phone on the way out.

***

Why was everyone in Overwatch so attractive? Sure, you’d seen posters of heroes but never had you seen them in person. Sitting four rows from the front of the stage, you had a pretty good view of who they called Strike Commander Morrison and Commander Reyes, even if the sun was in your eyes. They were talking about general admittance, but also that if people weren’t accepted it wasn’t the end of the world and there’s always a silver lining.

You hoped you didn’t need that silver lining.

A lady called Captain Amari took over, instructing everyone if their name was called out to gather over where Morrison and Reyes were standing. She started reading the list off of her holopad.

Your heart practically skipped a beat when yours was the first name called. Standing up, you felt a few hands clap your back and you grinned. You passed a tiny wave to your friend, whose mouth was agape.

Good luck! You mouthed.

Captain Amari kept on reeling the names off, one by one. You proudly made your way over to the duo, whose eyes were on you and smiles welcoming.

“Welcome to Overwatch, Recruit (L/N).” Morrison greeted you.

“Thank you, sir. It’s a pleasure.” You could barely contain your excitement.

“Eager.” Was all Reyes said.

You raised your eyebrows slightly.
“Of course, sir. Would you rather me be dreading this?”

Reyes raised his eyebrow slightly, tilting his head. He leaned over and whispered something in Morrison’s ear. He blushed and gave Reyes a good thump in the stomach. The Strike Commander shook his head at Reyes’ cackles, you still standing there not knowing how to react.

Other recruits came filing over, which put you at ease. Whether you made a good impression on your Commanders, you have no idea. A hand came through by your elbow and linked arms. You gasped slightly when you realised it was your friend, turning to fully face them and encase them in a congratulatory hug.

Your attention turned back to the duo when you heard a loud cough. The ceremony appeared to be over, and you appeared to have been very lucky. Out of the hundred or so that had come along, only fifteen of you had been chosen.

“You are our new recruits. We will train you harder and better than anything you’ve experienced the past few months. Overwatch is an elite programme run by the United Nations, who of course only want the best. We will push your limits. We will break you.” Commander Reyes stated.
“There is still time for you to back out.” He regained his posture, arms crossed and hip jutted out to the side, looking over the group.

“He could definitely break me.”
Your friend mumbled to you.
Your eyes bulged and you pressed your lips to keep in a laugh. You nudged your friend in the ribs as a sign for them to be quiet.

Reyes glanced over to you, an eyebrow slightly raised. You blushed.

The commander’s speech continued. A drop of sweat trickled down your spine, beads forming on your forehead from the glaring blaze of the sun. You let out a little sigh. You were glad you had rolles up the sleeves on the blazer.

“That is all, recruits. Meet at the training room tomorrow morning at 0600 hours.”
Reyes dismissed you all with a wave of his hand.

The group dispersed, all going their own way. You lagged behind, not wanting them to overhear. You grabbed your friend’s hand in yours and whispered to them your earlier thoughts.

“They really are attractive aren’t they?”
You friend linked arms with you, bringing your heads together.
“Yes, (Y/N). Did you not hear me earlier?”
“What, that you wanted Commander Reyes to break you?” You sniggered.
“Not just him. Strike Commander Morrison too.”
“Hush!”
“What, (Y/N)? It’s not like anyone is going to hear us. Don’t you want them?”
“Well yes.. But they’re our Commanders..”
“And?” Your friend stopped walking, both of you putting a fair distance between yourselves and the group ahead of you.
“They could command me to do anything.” You grinned.

Your friend let go of you cackling, nearly doubling over. They stood back up and wiped away a tear from the corner of their eye, staring suddenly at something behind you.

“Oh. Oh no.”
“What is it?”

You span around to look where they were looking. You blanched. Behind you were a pair of very attractive and very amused Commanders. You hadn’t realised they’d been following you in the same direction of the base.

“I was enjoying that, recruits. Please. Carry on.” Commander Reyes had his arms crossed, a smirk on his lips.
“Please do, it’s the most entertained we’ve been all day.” Morrison nodded. “Us hearing that you want us to.. What was it, Gabe?”
“Break and command them?” He grinned wolfishly.

You took in a deep breath and covered your red face with your hands. You turned on your heels and began to briskly walk in the opposite a direction. A firm hand caught your right shoulder before you could go anywhere.

“Not so fast, cariño.” Reyes’ deep voice chuckled.

This could only end badly.

“We’re to going to be working very closely together.” He whispered in your ear. You shuddered, and lowered your hands from your face, stepping back slightly when you realised how close he was. You spared a look for your friend, who was in the same predicament with Morrison, albeit more laughter coming from them.

Reyes hooked an arm over your shoulder, while Morrison patted your friend’s back.

“Come, (L/N). Don’t want to be late for dinner now do we?”

You looked up at him towering over you, still grinning. Your eyes were wide and your hands were holding the opposite elbow in a makeshift hug.

“You look like a deer in headlights, don’t look so scared! I won’t bite.” He joked. He leaned down a bit. “Or, unless you want to me to.” Reyes said.

You sputtered, looking straight ahead to where he was guiding you to walk so he wouldn’t be able to see your red cheeks.

This was going to be very interesting.

There’s a Fine, Fine Line

Jughead x Reader

The Reader and Jughead have a complicated relationship. Based on the requested song: 7 Things by Miley Cyrus

Warning: some swearing

Word count: 2,562

A/N: I know the request wanted it focused on one line and I tried I really did but the other parts were too cute once I started writing I’m sorry I hope you like it still. Also PS  It would have helped if Miley would have numbered the seven things because like I swear i was counting like 9 things at one point in my childhood. Also speaking of childhood the flashback actually happened to me let’s all relive my worst middle school memory yay.

You make me laugh, you make me cry

I don’t know which side to buy

There’s a thin line between love and hate. Jughead Jones rides that line with you, and it frustrates you to no end.

You had been ‘friends’ with him since you can remember, now only hanging out when Archie and Betty are there. You didn’t hate him at first, in fact, when you were a kid you had a crush on him for what seemed like the longest time.

At the 8th grade dance, you even asked him to dance. You remember what happened vividly, almost like a movie.

A short blue dress, black flats, and a braid down your back. Your makeup is done to perfection, and you feel on top of the world. Betty meets up with you at your place before the dance, her dress is a short milky white with a black necklace and earrings. Her blonde hair  tied up in a bun, a few strands hanging down in a perfect messy kind of way.

“Wow.” you say.

“Do you think Archie will like it?” she asks, going to your mirror and fiddling with the hem of her dress.

“If he doesn’t I will punch him.” You say with a small giggle.

“Thanks.” She smiles in return.

A car horn beeps from outside and you both jump up. It was Archie and his dad. They were going to drive you there.

You both race down the stairs and out the door, tickets in hand.

Archie sits up front, and so you both open the door and get in the back.

“There are my girls.” He says with a smile. All of you, plus Jughead, have been an inseparable crew since the beginning of time, and it all seems to work. You like Jug, Betty likes Archie, Archie and Jug are best friends, and you and Betty are best friends. It all just works.

You arrive at the dance and meet up with Jug, going to the dance floor to sway and jump the night away at your last dance of middle school. Half way through the night a slow song begins to play.

Archie smiles as you see him searching for Betty, and Jughead goes to the side of the dance floor. It didn’t look like he was going to ask someone.

Betty seems to have disappeared, probably to the bathroom, and before you know it Archie has come up beside you and has asked you to dance.

You say yes, of course. Archie was your friend, and you know nothing could ever come out of it. He is just a friend, this is a friend dance. People do that right?

His hands are on your hips and your hands around his neck. You can’t seem to look him in the eyes. You didn’t want to see him looking at you, as this should be Betty’s dance.

Soon, one slow song ends, and yet another begins. You thank Archie, as you see Betty coming back from the bathroom, and almost immediately he makes his way to her. He is just being nice, wanting to dance with both of us on our last 8th grade dance.

You search out Jughead on the side of the dance floor, finding him walking out of the room. His body seems tense, like he wants to leave.

You approach him, trying to chase after him.

“Juggie!” you say, touching his shoulder.

He stops and turns around.

“I don’t like you, (Y/N).” he says plainly.

A pain shoots through your body. The boy you had liked since the 2nd grade was standing before you, one of your very good friends, saying that they didn’t like you.

He turns around again and storms off, before you can ask what exactly he means. Did he mean that he doesn’t like like you? Or does he mean that he just doesn’t like you in general? Does he not like you as a person?

Your head spins as you go out to the hallway, sitting against the wall in your dress and braid, putting your head into your knees as you take deep breaths, already trying to deny what just happened.

That was only two years ago. After thinking about it over and over again, you came to the conclusion that he meant that he didn’t like you in general. It was a painful discovery, but it was one you learned to deal with, and one you’re still dealing with to this day.

You seem to only tolerate each other now, never speaking outside of when you hang out with all four of you. Like today.

You aren’t entirely sure what the plans are, but you just know that he will be there. You take the whole day to mentally prepare yourself before texting Betty.

‘what’s the plan?’ you send.

‘Pop’s, then a movie at Archie’s place.’ she replies.

You respond with a smiley face emoji, and as the last bell rings you pull your hoodie up over your head and walk to the diner.

They’re at the normal booth when you get there, Jughead on his laptop, a space open across from him. You scoot in across Archie, taking your spot and ordering a milkshake.

“How was your day?” Archie asks.

“The usual.” you say, shrugging your shoulders, “I went to Geometry class, my calculator died, and continued to spiral into the torturous hell of triangles.”

Your friends chuckle, but Jughead only raises his eyebrows.

“Are you sure that’s not just high school in general?” Jughead smirks, causing even more laughs from Betty and Archie. Oddly enough, you can’t help but crack a smile yourself.

Your friends they’re jerks

And when you act like them, just know it hurts

Jughead doesn’t have many friends he hangs out with besides you and Betty and Archie, but the ones he did have weren’t the kind of people you would think.

He basically lives at the Drive-In, and you can’t help but notice that some of the Southside Serpents are starting to hang out around there.

Okay, so technically you can’t exactly call them Jug’s ‘friends.’ They more are just forced to hang out around each other because of a common interest, but he’s still starting to pick up on some things that weren’t exactly desirable.

He’s late all the time, cancelling plans all of a sudden, not telling even Archie where he is or how he’s been. He’s dropped off the face of the planet, you actually haven’t seen him in a few months, and neither has Archie, and you can tell it’s taken a toll on him. Even you were starting to worry about him.

On your walk home from school you decide to take a different route. You had to cut through a few yards and walk down a trail through the woods at the back of your house, but the day was beautiful and you couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see the leaves change.

You see a figure sitting on a bench with a big backpack on the path, and only when you get closer do you notice the familiar beanie. It’s over his eyes, like he’s sleeping.

“Jughead?”

“(Y/N)?” he jumps, nearly falling over. He lands in the leaves on the ground, his beanie falling off on the path. He straightens himself up, quickly grabbing his signature hat and putting it back on his black locks.

“Where have you been?” you ask, putting your hands on your hips.

“Around.” He says, putting his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt.

Really?” you raise your eyebrows, challenging him to tell you more.

“Yeah.” he responds, not taking the bait.

“Well Archie is worried half to death, so is Betty. You should probably talk to them.” You say, deflecting the conversation away from how you might be affected. You cross your arms and shuffle your feet on the path, causing some gravel to kick up and roll towards his feet.

“I have been. It’s only been like a week since I saw you guys anyway.” he shrugs.

You look up. Did he not realize how long he’s been gone? “It’s been two months, Jughead.” you tell him.

“Oh…really?” he raises his eyebrows this time, genuinely confused as to how that amount of time has passed.

“Yes. Please explain.” You state simply, looking at him.

“Why would I tell you?” he smirks, scoffing at the implication of telling me.

“Okay, whatever.” you brush it off. You are used to this by now, “Just please tell Archie about whatever this is.” you say, giving him a look up and down.

“What does that mean?” he challenges.

“You don’t think I don’t notice? You hanging out with all the serpents at the drive-in?” now it was your turn to raise your eyebrows at him.

He looks shocked, and doesn’t say a word.
“They’re making you a different person.” you tell him, walking away.

“Wait,” he says before you get too far.

“What?” you say, spinning on your heels and turning to face him again.

“I’m not hanging out with them.” he tells you, his eyes to the ground.

“Really? That’s what it looks like. And it hurts Archie, and Betty and it hurts-” you stop yourself from saying it hurts you. You’re too busy trying to pry it out of him you don’t notice that he’s looking at you now.

“Hurts what?” he probes.

“It hurts the relationship you have with them.” you cover for yourself.

It’s silent for a minute, you now meeting his gaze.

“Come with me.” he sighs, picking up his backpack and walking in the direction opposite of where you were going initially.

You didn’t argue, though.

Maybe today will be different, maybe today he’s decided not to hate you.

And the 7th thing I hate the most that you do

You make me love you

He leads you to the Drive-in, going to the back room.

He opens the door, leading you into a room with a mattress on the floor, a mirror on the wall, and some clothes and posters tossed carelessly around the space.

You instantly realize, that’s why he’s been spending so much time here. He lives here. This is his home, and nobody noticed it. Not even Archie knew.

“Jughead, why didn’t you come to any of us?” you finally ask, looking around the room, walking to the center.

“I can take care of myself.” he says simply.

“The thing is, you don’t have to. You have Archie, and Betty, and..me.” you say, looking him dead in the eyes.

“Really? Cause last time I checked you seem to hate me.” he takes his hands out of his sweatshirt, taking a few steps toward you.

“I’ve never hated you, Juggie.” you say, not breaking eye contact.

“Don’t,” he takes a breath,  “call me that.” His voice is rough and deep, pointing at me with every word. His eyes are flaring, yet stone cold. He is angry at something or someone, you can’t tell.

“I don’t know what I ever did to make you hate me, but I know I sure as hell wasn’t the one who started this.” you say, throwing your hands up in defeat, waiting for a response.

All he does is scoff.

“Fine, have fun being alone, but don’t say I never tried.” you say, pushing past him and making your way towards the door to leave.

“Tried? You’ve barely given me the time of day.” You turn around at this, walking back over to him.
“The only reason I haven’t is because you said you didn’t like me.” You tell him.

“Why would I say something like that?” he gets defensive.

“Don’t act like you don’t remember.” you scoff now, folding your arms once more and rolling your eyes.

He just stares at you.

“You don’t like me, I get it. I’ve moved on with my life. I’ve accepted it. You’ve never liked me.” you say, wanting the conversation to be over.

“I don’t think you do get it.” he says, looking down at his feet.

“Then tell me what I’m missing.”

“The way he looks at you. The way he smiles when you walk in the room. His attention, devoted to you.” he looks at you again, trying to meet your eyes.

“What? What are you talking about?” you ask, confused as ever.

“Archie! It’s clear he likes you. He has since 8th grade. I wasn’t stupid, (Y/N), I saw you dancing with him.” he nearly screams.

“Wait.. what?”

“He only had eyes for you.” He says, hurt now behind his eyes.

“Oh my god.” You put your hand to your head, bringing it down over your eyes. You can’t help but crack a smile and let out a little laugh at how fucked up the situation is. It’s been so muddled and there’s been so much miscommunication.

“What?” he says, his face a mix of confusion and sadness and still some anger.

“Jug, I like you.” You say without thinking.

“What?” he asks.

“He asked me to dance because Betty was in the bathroom. I thought he wanted to dance with her.” you ramble, not realize what he’s asking.

“No, no. What did you just say?”

You pause a moment, just hitting you that you just admitted that you liked him, that you still like him. He obviously heard it, there was no turning back now.

“I- I like you, Jug. I always have.” you let out with a sigh, unable to look at him.

You’re afraid of what he’s going to say, bracing yourself for another rejection. Instead, you feel his hand going to the back of your neck as he pulls you close, placing a kiss on your lips. It was sweet, and simple, a thousand words said in just one touch.

“I’m so sorry.” he whispers against your lips as you break apart, keeping your foreheads together.

“For what?”

“For saying I didn’t like you. When I saw you guys I got so mad, and when you came up to me afterwards it was the only thing I could think of. I was… well, I was in middle school.” he lets out a small laugh, unable to find another explanation.

“It’s okay, we both were.” you come back, letting out a small laugh as well.

He takes a small step back from you, brushing the hair out of your face with his fingers, but you can still feel the heavy weight in the air, a mix of your heavy breathing and the anticipation of what could happen next.

“I hate this.” Jughead breaks the silence, and you’re unable to read his expression.

You pause. The memory flashing in your mind. This was going to be a repeat of middle school, you could feel it.

“Hate what?” you ask this time.

“I hate that you make my stomach tie in knots, I hate what your smile does to my heart. I hate that I’ve liked you for such a long time, and I’ve been too blind to see that you liked me back.”

“There’s a fine, fine line between love and hate, Jughead,” you say, “you just have to decide which side to be on.”

“Then I don’t just like you, (Y/N),” he says. You can feel yourself stop breathing.

“I love you.”

Red was such a Michael color.

Jeremy couldn’t help it now; he loved everything about seeing color. Even video games were better in color and half the games Michael owned were so poorly colored it didn’t matter. Jeremy found so much endearment in things now…perhaps even more so feeling like Christine had given him this new life. Not to mention saving his life. Of course there was no way to talk about it. Three days into his Junior year and Jeremy had no idea how to even bring up the topic. Michael didn’t seem to bring it up either. He smiled and babbled like nothing changed, talking about his exciting escapades visiting the Philippines all summer.. “And then they had these candies that were like sweet but sour, but like salty…it was a trip, you would have loved them” Michael beamed as he came to a red light. His eyes flickered to Jeremy; he was staring at him.

Secrets ran both ways. While Jeremy was hiding the fact he did in fact want to pursue soul mates and ruin their twelve year promise, Michael had completely ignored the detail that he, too, could see color. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to even say to him. ‘Hey you’re my soul mate, ol’ pal.’ That would ruin everything!

trimberly prompt: “seven minutes in heaven” (2.7k)

Kimberly is the first over the lip of the chasm, collapsing to the ground once she reaches the top, coarse gravel digging uncomfortably into her shoulder blades. She considers moving, but only manages to lift her head instead, biting back a groan, watching as Jason climbs out of the ravine, close behind. He splays on the quarry ground next to her, reaching out to pinch weakly at her arm.

“Maybe it’s time we invest in a rope,” he says, “or like a really long ladder.”

Trini is the next up, and she greets them with a glare, tossing a handful of gravel halfheartedly in their direction.

“Who made you the leader again?”

Zach hauls himself over the edge, reaching back to pull Billy up behind him. “I think that was the giant disembodied head,” he says. “If I remember correctly.”

Kimberly laughs and Jason mimes a frown, swatting his hand vaguely in Zach’s direction. “It’s not my fault I have the coolest color.”

Trini scoffs. “As if.”

“Yeah,” Kimberly says, snapping at the elastic of her pink sports bra, the hem visible under her low-scooped tank, “that would be me.”

If the motion draw Trini’s eyes, Kimberly doesn’t notice.

hey just another miraculous AU

JUST A PSA IM ON MOBILE AND IT WONT LET ME PUT A READ MORE???
I went all out I wrote like the entire plot of the movie
Has a tangled AU been done??? Probably ??? Who cares ???
Okay so
-“this is the story of how I died… OH DONT WORRY ITS A FUN STORY HAHA!! and it starts with a magic, golden flower”
-Queen Momma Agreste gets hella sick and she’s gotta have this baby right, so King Gabriel sends for the ‘mythical’ golden flower
-surprise surprise they find the flower, which completely enrages a forest wizard named Hawkmoth who has been using it for its intense power and the immortality it grants
-Queen Momma Agreste drinks the flower tea and boom we have a baby prince, Adrien, with a full head of blonde locks and he’s just cute and all is good
-of course Hawkmoth wants to join the fun so he kidnaps Adrien for the powers his hair possesses
-so Hawkmoth and Adrien are living up in this tower in the woods now and Adrien learns to recite this poem to use his power (the song basically but spoken)
-King Gabe and Queen Momma Agreste light off these little butterfly lanterns on his birthday and there’s just a swarm of glowing butterflies on his birthday and he knows its for him
-also important Adrien befriends a little chameleon that he names Plagg ;)
-So fast forward like nearly 17-ish years and cut to scene with Marinette, Chloé and Sabrina all pulling off a sick heist to steal the Crown of the Black Cat, which is basically Adrien’s crown he was supposed to get on his coronation day
-(So if you haven’t caught it yet, Adrien is Rapunzel and Marinette is Flynn Ryder)
-So basically Marinette’s nom de plume is Ladybug, its what she goes by on all her heists and what she’s wanted as
-So anyway Her and Chlo and Sab all break into the castle and snatch the crown, they get chased by the guards, including the best guard Alya, and the best horse Tikki
-Cue a joke by Mari with her wanted poster about how they “ just can’t get my ____ right” each time it’s a different thing
-after this, ur girl Ladybug totally is selfish at this point in the story and takes the crown and leaves Chloé and Sabrina for the guards
-Alya gets thrown off of Tikki but Tikki still chases after Marinette. Until Marinette finds a hidden lil cave, that’s more like a lil rock hallway that leads to a meadow with a fairly nice tower
-So what should Marinette do?? Climb the tower of course!
-Don’t worry Adrien doesn’t hit her with a frying pan, she literally eats shit when she walks in and knocks herself out. Clumsy Girl y’know.
-Adrien is just like ???? Wt F wHo thE heCk just smacked their face on my floo- ITS A FEMALE WHAT PLAGG HELP WHAT DO I DO IVE NEVER SEEN A REAL LIVE GIRL ONLY IN THOSE BOOKS
-Plagg is very obviously annoyed and is like “boi put her somewhere and show hawkmoth you can handle yourself (even though she knocked herself out)”
-Adrien kinda catches on so he literally just pulls her to a closet and puts her in
-her bag falls open as he’s moving her to an upright position and the black crystals of the crown catch his attention
-basically an “ooh shiny!” moment,,And he takes it and looks in the mirror and tries to figure out what it is
-he puts it on his arm and looks through it and then puts it on his head
-and he’s like “woah I look like those princes from my book” “haha as if”
-(LIKE BOI YOU ARE SHHSHDJS)
-anyway so hawkmoth comes home from wherever the hell he went, town or whatever idk, and Adrien is like !! FATHER LOOK WHAT I DID!!
-Hawkmoth does not care literally at all he’s like “Adrien please recite your poem for me it calms me” and Adrien rushes through it and HM is just like ??? bOI
-Adrien tries to show him our girl Lady Luck
-Hawkmoth will have None of That
-“You can’t handle yourself, the world is dangerous”
-He literally doesn’t listen to Adrien’s pleas to leave the tower at all either
-“you are NOT like anyone else! You are my son!” (u thought)
-so what does Adrien do?? Plan an escape plan, and sends HM on a mission that will take like 3 days or smth
-Adrien has long hair btw I forgot to mention just not nearly as long as rapunzel’s was
-His is more like maybe brushing the floor
-and hawk moth climbs a rope ladder or smth to get in there’s plot holes leave me be
-ANYwaY after hawkmoth leaves, he tapes Mari to a chair or ties her or something
-and Plagg wakes her up by sticking Camembert in her mouth
-and she’s like !!! WHAt the HEck Ew
-after she wakes up Adrien is like “what you want why you here please don’t kill me”
-When he steps into the light and she sees him she’s literally rendered speechless like she can’t form words bc he is actually so beautiful
-“h-hi-I mean hello- I mean-uh-why are you in this-uh-tower, who are you???”
-Adrien doesn’t trust her at all bc the wanted poster in her bag and the crown literally screams criminal
-he’s desperate though so he’s like “alright listen up, whoever you are, something brought you to me. Call it fate, destiny-” “A horse” “Im not finished… you were brought to me today for a reason, and that’s to help me. You’re going to be my guide”
-Marinette is like “awh man I wish I could but see I have to get this cro-OH NO, WHERE IS MY BAG?”
-Adrien holds it up like ;) and she’s just so done
-“If you take me to see the lights tomorrow, I will return it to you, if you refuse, I’ll turn you in.”
-“wait the stupid butterfly lanterns they light off for the lost prince?”
-Adrien is totally in awe that they’re not some weird star thing, they’re butterflies
-she shakes her head and knows she can’t really refuse so she plans it out in her head on how she can cheat the system
-Adrien’s already covered that in his head though she can’t get away with anytHing
-(except maybe making him fall in love with her ;))))
-So she agrees and she’s like “The names Ladybug”
-he’s kinda like ¿ strange name but Okay!! “My name is Adrien!”
-ANYWAy they leave the tower and Adrien is like 👀👀 this is no bueno I should not be doing this but omg I’ve never felt so FREE!!!
-he has a blast omg that boy goes running through the woods and he’s laughing and he’s like “FATHER WOULD BE SO ANGRY BUT I DONT CARE”
-meanwhile hawkmoth sees Tikki in the woods and has an “oh SHIT Adrien” moment
-Runs back home, there’s nothing and no one there, aside from Mari’s wanted poster that fell out of the bag
-meanwhile with the Lovebirds™
-He and Mari end up at this pub with some Angry men, including the bar owner Nino, and Adrien ends up singing about his dreams and everyone has fun
-the scene that stemmed this idea happens with Mari singing about how her dream involves her being rich on an island
-and surprise surprise Hawkmoth finds them but so do the guards and they escape through a tunnel under the pub that Nino shows them, and it leads out into the dry side of a dam
-Intense Battle Scene™
-Mari is a badass but then Adrien totally comes out of nowhere like “I came here to attack and I’m honestly having a good time”
-They get trapped in a cave that’s filling with water post battle bc they broke shit
-they’re literally lowkey going to die and Adrien is like “I’m so sorry I got you into this mess. We’re going to die here and I’m so sorry Ladybug”
-and she just softly says “Marinette”
-Adrien is like “????? what”
-and Marinette starts crying and she’s like
-“my name isn’t Ladybug if you couldn’t tell. It’s Marinette. I called myself Ladybug because I always wanted to be like a superhero. I never was one though. All I am is an orphan with a permanent record.”
-and here we have Adrien “Actual Adoration” Agreste because if we wasn’t in love with her before, he is most certainly in love with her now
-and then he remembers!!
-HIS HAIR GLOWS WHEN HE SAYS THE POEM THEY CAN LOOK UNDERWATER
-so he’s like “marinette please go with the flow” and he recites the poem in his head and his hair just illuminates
-she’s like “WHAT THE FUCJTN”
-but she’s not ready for death so they dig rocks out and they end up dropping into a river
-they come up on the bank gasping like “oh fuck dude”
-“MARINETTE WE’RE ALIVE!!!”
-“his hair glows? His hair glows! Plagg why does his hair glow???”
-“Marinette?” “this is surreal. I’m dead we died” “Marinette” “what the hell is going on” “MARINETTE!” “What!”
-he’s standing there dripping water and extending his hand to her
-and she’s like “oh no” because he looks so hot standing there dripping water and she maybe has the tiniest crush on him
-oh who am I kidding the sun rays behind him and his radiant smile sends her head over heels into complete love for this ray of light
-so he pulls Marinette out of the river and they go find a lil clearing and they make a campfire
-and Adrien looks at Marinette and frowns
-and she’s like “What what what’s wrong is something wrong with me??”
-and he just laughs a bit, “no no you just have a cut on your knee”
-she looks down at her knee and winces at the long, deep cut and just shrugs it off because it’ll heal eventually
-Adrien trusts Marinette to the point now that he can show her the reason he’s hidden away
-“don’t freak out okay”
-he holds a lock of hair in his hands and presses it to her cut and recites the poem
-and Marinette is like ¿ wth boI
-and once he’s done he just grins and he’s like “good as new”
-Mari is confused as hell and when he moves his hand away and the cuts not there she literally opens her mouth to shriek
-and Adrien is like “PLEASE DONT FREAK OUT IM SORRY”
-and she’s like “hahahaha why would I freak out I’m just curious whydoesyourhairglowandwhydoesithavemagicalhealingpowershowlonghasitdonethat?”
-and Adrien is sheepishly just like “forever I guess,,, that’s why I was hidden away, because people want my hair for its power.”
-He moves some hair to the side to show a pale blonde lock of hair cut off at the nape of his neck and explains that if it’s cut it turns pale and loses its power
-Marinette is like really shook but she pushes it down and suggests they sleep so they can be ready for the butterfly lights tomorrow
-cut to scene of Hawkmoth pissed as hell in the woods as he fades into the shadows
-he’s now talking to Chloé and Sabrina and making a Plan
-so next day Adrien wakes up to Marinette screaming and is very confused to see her literally trying to fight a horse
-like she literally almost has Tikki in a headlock and Tikki has a hoof pushing on her shoulder and shit
-Adrien has never been more confused but he goes and breaks it up and he’s like “hey there girly what’s your name” and he looks at her name thing and he’s like “Tikki!! That’s a nice name!”
-And Tikki whines or something and Mari chuckles or something and Tikki is back at it with trying to capture her
-But Adrien hits her with these kitten eyes and is like “I realllyyyyyyy need her to take me to the kingdom so I can see the butterflies, please let me have that, then you can fight her until you can’t stand!”
-Marinette is so very thankful for that one
-so they head to the Kingdom, now with Tikki coming along with them
-They’re having a blast and when they get to the kingdom they have all sorts of fun
-Adrien shows Marinette some of the books he has at home and she shows him the books that inspired Ladybug
-they get food from the market
-and Adrien keeps seeing images of this baby boy with bright green eyes and golden locks and theres something familiar about everything
-and then, oh boy and then, someone starts playing music and Adrien is like !! “mari come dance with me”
-and she’s like “nah I’m okay you go”
-and he starts dancing and soon a ton of people have joined in and Adrien comes around the circle and grabs Marinette
-and they dance around with people and they’re desperately hoping it works out so they can dance together
-surprise!!! They do but they join hands as the song ends and they’re like “awh damn”
-so after that ends Marinette and Adrien are both blushing and she points out that it’s almost sundown and they have somewhere to go
-they go out into the middle of the lake in a lil boat and Adrien is so so so excited and so is Mari bc Adrien is so happy
-the sun goes down and Adrien looks at Marinette completely giddy like !! :DD
-and she just smiles so wide back at him because holy fuck she’s never felt so in love in her whole life
-Adrien is flicking the surface of the water and watching the waves when he sees the first light
-suddenly literally thousands of butterfly lanterns are floating all around them and Adrien is just in complete awe
-Marinette clears her throat and he turns to look at her and she has two lanterns in her hand
-and Adrien smiles and turn behind him and grabs the bag with the crown and he’s like “I should’ve given this to you sooner, but I was scared… I’m not scared anymore. You know what I mean?”
-and she just pushes it down, “I’m starting to”
-AND AT LAST I SEE THE LIGHT
-And they’re literally a centimeter away from locking lips when Marinette can see Chloé on the beach
-and she decides right then to give Chloé the crown and go wherever with Adrien
-Adrien of course thinks at first that she’s betraying his trust but doesn’t believe that because he loves her okay?
-Cue Adrien getting worried and going to look for her
-Hawkmoth fighting Chloé or something and she passes out and he sees Adrien
-and he’s like “I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD IM SO HAPPY YOU’RE OKAY” (he says as he takes handfuls of his hair)
-Adrien is like “yea okay but Marinette”
-And hawkmoth, fricken rat, points to the boat heading toward the kingdom
-and he’s like “I think she’s got something better to do”
-Adrien is broke af how could this happen how could they love each other so much and just have her break the trust so easily
-he’s just kinda done with it so he’s accepted it and goes back to the tower with HM
-Meanwhile Marinette wakes up from getting knocked tf out and Tikki is whining super loud bc Marinette is in danger and she can tell
-some guards are drawn bc of the whines and Mari has the crown tied to her hand and she’s like “shit”
-they throw her in jail and she’s gonna be hung then next morning
-Tikki is on a mission and she books it to Nino’s pub
-back in the tower Hawkmoth has finished lecturing Adrien and leave him to himself
-Adrien takes out the little kingdom flag he got and looks at it
-and suddenly he starts to see the symbol everywhere
-it’s hidden in all his paintings around his room
-and suddenly now he knows
-that baby boy is Him
-he leaves his room determined to get somewhere
-Hawkmoth is like ?? “What’s wrong Adrien?”
-“I’m the lost Prince”
-“what?”
-“I’m the lost Prince! Aren’t I father? Or should I even call you that?”
-oh hawkmoth is Pissed
-Adrien tries to leave to go find Marinette and Hawkmoth is like “she’s going to be dead when you get there, she’s due to hang for her crimes”
-and Adrien is screwed and he can’t do anything so he surrenders
-back at the castle
-Nino and his bar mates have arrived and they’re kicking ass for Marinette
-And she ends up on Tikki’s back and is like all sappy like “thank you for saving me it means a lot really”
-Tikki doesn’t care she just needs to get Mari to Adrien like now
-so sick montage of tikki running to the tower
-and Marinette scales the tower
-and she’s in! And there’s Adrien! Chained to the wall with tape on his mouth?
-and suddenly Marinette has a sharp pain in her side where Hawkmoth totally just stabbed her
-she slams into a mirror and breaks it and just kinda slumps against the wall with all the shards
-Adrien is flipping shit,,, he’s taking on the chains and screaming into the tape and he’s crying and she’s crying and hawkmoth is just standing over her like
-“poor little thief got what was coming to her”
-Hawmoth goes to grab Adrien and take him to a new area, where no one could find them
-but Adrien fights him so hard
-he’s yanking back and kicking
-and Hawkmoth yells “STOP FIGHTING”
-Adrien gets the tape off enough so he can speak
-“I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING YOU, I WILL FIGHT UNTIL THE DAY I DIE”
-he glances at Mari and she’s staring at him with tears in her eyes, clenching her side
-“unless…unless you let me heal her. If you just let me heal her I will go wherever with you, no fighting”
-Hawkmoth doesn’t want to deal with his crap so he’s like “whatever”
-he chains Marinette to the staircase banister, “in case you get any ideas” he says
-Adrien runs over to her and he’s brushing her hair back from her face and he’s crying and she’s crying
-and he presses some hair and his hands to her wound and he’s like “shhhh shhhh it’s okay you’ll be okay we’ll be okay”
-and she’s crying so much and she’s like “no you won’t be you can’t just go be a slave to him”
-and it’s in slow motion when she grabs his hair and swings a jagged piece of the mirror up and slices it at the base of his neck
-Hawkmoth is y e l l i n g because there goes all the power he was able to have
-Adrien is completely shocked, he doesn’t really understand what the hell just happened
-all he can see is Hawkmoth drastically aging into a very very old man and stumbling until Plagg trips him and sends him falling out of the window
-it takes him a whole second to realize Marinette is still in his arms, dying with no way for him to save her
-“no no no Marinette stay with me, please please you can’t go”
-she just weakly smiles at him and she’s like “I never got to tell you”
-and she winces and tries to sit up more to reach for him
-“you were my new dream”
-“you were mine”
-cue gross ugly sobs from me because Marinette slowly slips away
-Adrien cries out in complete anguish and just holds her limp body, crying because he loved her so much oh my god
-his tears fall on her face and he’s too broken to notice the golden rays coming off of her until they completely consume the room
-and Adrien is so confused,,, why are all these golden rays surrounding Marinette
-and she shifts in his arms and he’s like !!!!!!
-he looks down at her and her eyes open and she’s like
-“have I ever told you I’ve got a thing for green eyes”
-Adrien barely has time to laugh before they’re slamming their lips together, crying and just so so so happy that they’re okay
-they leave the tower and go back to the kingdom, because Adrien knows now that he is the lost Prince
-also Marinette sort of needs to make amends with the kingdom bc she’s in love with Adrien dammit and she’s not gonna lose him
-Adrien sees Momma Agreste and Gabriel
-and everyone is So Happy!!! And they’re hugging!!!
-And Marinette is just standing off to the side content that he’s with his family
-and then momma yanks her into the hug circle
-and then there’s a mini fast forward and Look at That!!! We’re at a celebration !!!
-and we have some Cute ass scenes of Prince Adrien talking to the citizens of the kingdom
-and Mari snatches his crown off his head
-and he just rolls his eyes and they kiss
-and the camera slowly pans up onto an announcement
-For a royal wedding

AHHHHH THIS TOOK ME THREE DAYS TO WRITE ITS SO LONG I AM SO SORRY I LITERALLY WROTE OUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE

Con-Text

All the cool kids are doing it, so I wrote my first OMG, Check Please! fic… I blame @wrathofthestag, who sent me a picture that I had to turn into a fic. I also blame @disraeligearsgoestumblin, @victorineb and @wraithsonwingsposts - you all are terrible influences!

Bitty was toweling off his hair when he heard his phone buzz. Resigned to the fact that the Georgia humidity was going to ruin any careful sculpting he wanted to do, Bitty huffed a sigh and went to check his phone.

J-Z: Thank you for the cookies, Bittle.

Bitty grinned at the text. He paused before typing, wondering if he shouldn’t cover himself up before responding to Jack. He gnawed his lip for a minute and smiled. Well, if he got a little thrill out of texting his crush in the buff – that was between him and the lord, no reason for Jack Zimmermann to worry his pretty little head over it.

        Me: Anytime, honey.

Bitty sighed and flopped on his bed, phone resting on his chest. Lord, just thinking about that boy made him feel flushed. He gave a little yelp when the phone buzzed again, sending a tingle through his body.

J-Z: What are you up to?

“This boy,” Bitty said to Señor Bun, who offered Bitty a sympathetic look.

Me: Nothing much. Just working out and eating more protein!

        J-Z: Haha.

“Lord, he puts a period after everything,” Bitty showed the text to Bun.

Me: I am! I’ve been doing the chest press variations you showed me, I think it’s made a big difference.

         J-Z: Yeah?

“Yeah?” Bitty looked at Bun. “What the hell does yeah mean?”

It sounded kind of like flirting, but one never knew with Jack. He could just want Bitty’s new chest measurements to mark off on some sort of Team Workout Progress chart he made in his spare time.

“He’s not flirting, Jack isn’t programmed to flirt…right?”

Bun didn’t seem to have a lot of thoughts on the subject. Bitty looked at the text one more time and screwed up his mouth. Well, Jack wanted to know about his progress, maybe Bitty should show him. Just because Jack was a hockey robot didn’t mean Bitty couldn’t have a little harmless fun flirting.

“He’ll probably just think it’s informative, right?”

Before Bun could talk him out of it, Bitty hopped up. Running a hand through his hair, Bitty held out the camera, made his signature selfie face, framed the shot to show off his chest and abs, and flexed his pecs. His heart was hammering, so he took one second to check his face in the picture and then immediately sent it to Jack.

         Me: Much better, right?

Bitty sat his phone down and shivered, the AC finally driving him to put some clothes on. When he was decent, he checked his phone – no new messages.

Bitty frowned. Not even a haha for his efforts? That was disappointing. On a whim, he checked the conversation – maybe Jack had responded and his phone had just failed to notify him? Bitty looked at the texts, nothing since he sent the picture.

         The picture.

What was that in the background?

Bitty pulled up the pic and promptly dropped his phone.

His mirror. The full-length mirror that Moomaw had given to him on his 14th birthday. Bitty hadn’t even noticed it behind him. Sadly the camera had, offering the viewer a full-length view of Bitty’s completely naked backside.

“Oh God,” Bitty whispered, wrapping Bun in a panicked hug. “I just sexted Jack Zimmermann.”

Summary: Erica convinces Derek to go to an acapella performance with her. Things go better than he could have ever expected.

Notes: I went and saw an acapella performance last weekend, and it inspired me to write a little fic! And I’ve been wanting to write singer!Stiles for a while, so it worked out well. (On AO3)

“Come on, Derek. Please?” Erica says pleadingly, wrapping her hands around his bicep and squeezing. She leans her head against his shoulder for good measure, looking up at him sadly. “I know you’re working on being a hermit, but please come out with me to this one little thing.”

This method works pretty much every time, and Derek sighs. “Why don’t you get one of your other friends to go with you?” he asks. Erica is far more of a social butterfly than he is, he knows she has more friends than the two he’s managed to make.

“They’re not into acapella vocal performances,” Erica says.

“And what makes you think that I am?” Derek asks, eyebrow quirked.

MASTERLIST

Genre: Fluff (w/ a tiny bit of angst? Just a pinch, like 1/8 of a pinch lol)

Characters: You x JImin

Word Count: 2.3K

Plot: Jimin was popular and you weren’t. You never thought your paths would cross, and you never wanted them to. However, fate had other plans (lmao this is such a  cliche plot but just read it, it’s not that cliche).

a/n: This was inspired by the book “Eleanor & Park.” If you haven’t read it, you should because it’s really good! I used the same format as the book. Also, the line break indicates a new day. :)

Your POV

He was always the popular boy. Ever since elementary school, he always had a group of friends following him along with an audience. You never knew what was so great about him.

While he was friends with half of the school, the other half– minus one, wished they could be his friend. That minus one was you.

You sat alone at a cafeteria table and tried to eat your lunch in peace. However, the fact that Park Jimin kept throwing glances at your way irked you.

Jimin’s POV

He first noticed you on the first day of grade one. You were quiet and remained to yourself. Not a lot of people noticed you, and you seemed to like it. You were so shy and he never thought much of it back then, but he thought it was adorable now.

Jimin always wanted to talk to you, but something about you made him too nervous to approach you.

Jimin stared at you across the cafeteria, admiring your beauty from afar. He watched you take a bite out of the disgusting school lunch and chuckled to himself when you made a grossed out face.

Your POV

In class, you were bored out of your mind. The teacher called on students, asking for an answer to a question that was only answerable if you were as smart as himself. The teacher called on Jimin’s name and you rolled your eyes. You waited for a stupid, unfunny answer that would be followed by laughter from the other students.

Jimin’s POV

He heard the teacher call his name. He didn’t know what the question was or if was even a question in the first place.

Jimin wasn’t paying attention to the teacher, instead, he was distracted by watching you doodle some drawings in your notebook. They looked like scribbles from where he was sitting, but he remembered that you were good at art. He always wanted to see your scribbles up close and wondered what you were actually drawing.

Your POV

You waited at the library for your partner. 20 minutes has passed by and you grew agitated

You felt stupid and should’ve known that Jimin would be late. Maybe he wasn’t going to show up at all.

You were supposed to meet up to work on an English project, but by the looks of it, it looked like you would have to start tomorrow.

Jimin’s POV

He ran to the library as fast as he could. He didn’t mean to be late, but his boss made him stay and extra half an hour to clean up at his job.

When he got to the library, he saw that you were already packing up. Jimin walked quickly to your table and apologized.

Your POV

He gave you an excuse that he probably used for everything. You rolled your eyes but emptied out your bag to start the project. You were annoyed that he was late, but at least he was there now.

You asked him his what favourite Shakespeare book was. There was no point in choosing one yourself since you doubted he’s ever read any in the first place.

Jimin’s POV

“Uh, Macbeth.”

He never even read it. Did he even get the name right?

He saw you reading it in the library one day and it just popped up in his mind.

Your POV

Just two days into the project, you found out that you and Jimin had many things in common. You liked the same books, TV shows, and types of movies.

It was strange, you never thought Jimin would ever be into the same things you were into.

Jimin’s POV

You asked him what his favourite colour was. He liked blue, but he knew you didn’t. He lied and said he didn’t have a favourite color, just so he wouldn’t lose that connection with you.

Your POV

You presented your project with flying colors. You didn’t expect a good mark because of Jimin, but when your teacher handed you back your mark, you were surprised that you actually achieved a good one.

You were happy the project was over. However, as much as you didn’t want to admit it, you were going to miss sharing a bond with Jimin– even if it was just the slightest bond possible.

You still couldn’t understand why he was so popular or had people following him like a bunch of “fans,” but Jimin wasn’t as horrible as you thought he’d be.

But he was still popular, and you weren’t. That meant that he wouldn’t be forced to talk to you or make small talk anymore because of the project. The project was over, and so would your friendship– if it even was a friendship, with Jimin will be.

Jimin’s POV

He watched your expression as you received your mark. He didn’t look at his mark when the teacher gave it to him, but when he saw your smile, he knew it was good.

He was happy the project was over. He felt that the two of you developed a friendship. Now he could talk to you more often and more freely– and without the topic of Macbeth popping up.

Jimin’s POV

He hurried out of class to catch up to you. He saw you walking towards math. He had that class too.

“Hey, good job Y/N. I think we did the best.”

“Oh, uh,” you looked shocked and he thought it was so cute. “Yeah, I think so too.”

Your POV

Jimin sat beside you in math class. He usually sat at the back, but today he sat at the front. With you.

Your POV

Two girls that usually sat at Jimin’s lunch table approached you. They knocked your tray down and your food splattered everywhere. Onto the floor, on the table, and on you.

Jimin’s POV

His head turned into the direction of the noise. He saw you standing there covered in food.

He looked at his two friends who were giggling, approaching his table. He gave them a death stare and they sat down quietly, avoiding eye contact with him.

His blood was boiling. He wanted to yell at them and tell everyone to stop staring at you. He was furious. But in the end, he turned his head and remained quiet for the rest of the lunch.

Your POV

You were embarrassed but not surprised. Those girls did that often to people. You just happened to be the next target.

You knew he saw you, and for some reason, you wanted him to stand up for you. He didn’t, though.

Your POV

You sat at the cafeteria table and ate the food that was on your tray. Suddenly, you heard a slam on the table and looked up to see Jimin standing in front of you.

Jimin’s POV

He stood in front of you and smiled. You looked startled, so he apologized.

He purposely left his lunch at home, just so he could eat the cafeteria food with you.

When he took a bite out of what looked like chocolate pudding, but tasted liked canned dog food, he tried his best not to throw up.

Jimin’s POV

“I’m sorry.”

“For what?”

“For yesterday.”

Your POV

You considered him Jimin a friend. You didn’t know if he considered you one, but if he did, he had plenty of those. It wasn’t like Jimin had to stand up for you or say anything. It’s not like he had to care.

So, you forgave him, you had no right not to.

Your POV

You saw the same two girls walking towards you while you stood at your locker. You knew they were coming, they’ve been doing it for about a week.

You waited for them to appear and throw your notebook or something out of your locker and onto the ground, but they never showed up.

You looked past your locker door and surprisingly, they were gone. Instead, you saw Jimin.

Jimin’s POV

He didn’t know why his “friends” were acting that way. Why was he even friends with people like that?

You were the nicest person ever. Maybe they couldn’t see it, but Jimin knew you.

Your POV

Jimin walked you home. You knew he lived in the other direction, but he insisted. You didn’t mind, you liked the company.

You liked Jimin.

Jimin’s POV

He wanted every excuse to be with you. Maybe he should just ask you out, but he was too afraid.

He liked you, he always has.

Your POV

The school dance was coming up. You weren’t really a party person, but everyone was talking about it.

Everywhere you turned, there were posters advertising it. Every morning on the announcements they would remind everyone to buy their tickets.

You were also used to people going all out just to ask someone to the dance. People wrote songs, bought gifts, one person even kidnapped their significant other just to ask them to the dance.

You didn’t really want to go to the dance, but if Jimin asked you, you wouldn’t hesitate to say yes.

Jimin’s POV

Jimin wanted to go to the dance with you. He knew you were shy and didn’t want to do something big to ask you like everyone normally else did. He didn’t want an audience, he wanted you to feel safe and comfortable. Just you and him.

After school, while he walked you home, he thought of how to ask you. What if you said no.

Your POV

Jimin didn’t really talk much like usual. You felt as if something was bothering him.

“Are you okay, Jimin?” You asked.

He turned to you and looked shocked, like he was just pulled out from a daydream.

“Do you wanna go to the dance with me?”

He sounded nervous, but then shocked at his own words. It was cute.

Your POV

The night of the dance arrived. Jimin would be at your house in 20 minutes.

You looked at the mirror one last time. You wore a blue dress that fit you in all the right places. Your hair was down, and you wore makeup that looked alright. You felt embarrassed since you looked so different.

Maybe you should change. You could feel your insecurities acting up and wondered what Jimin would think. What if he thought you looked ugly? What if he said you looked good, but didn’t mean it?

Suddenly you heard the doorbell ring.

Jimin’s POV

Your mother opened the door and Jimin greeted her kindly. He stepped inside and waited for you to come down.

When he saw you appear at the top, his mind went blank. All he could see was you and you were glowing.

You looked different. Not better than how you always looked, but not worse either. You always looked beautiful to him. But now, you just looked different. Good different.

You looked like a princess waiting at the stop of the staircase and he felt as if he were in a movie. He couldn’t take his eyes off of you

He could tell you were nervous. He decided to walk up the stairs to help you down so you wouldn’t have the spotlight all on you.

He took your delicate little hand and led you down. Your mother stopped you two near the bottom to take pictures. He didn’t mind, he wanted to remember this moment.

Your POV

Your mother was embarrassing you. You told her to stop but she didn’t listen.

Finally, she and your father let you and Jimin leave.

“Y/N, you’re so beautiful, you know that right?” Jimin said to you once the two of you were outside.

You blushed and thanked him. It wasn’t like you’ve never received a compliment before, but the way Jimin said it was different than how anyone else gave you one. He talked about you– not how you looked tonight, not your dress or your makeup, just you. His words made you feel like you really were the most beautiful girl in the world.

Your POV

You were surprised. The dance was really fun.

At first, you felt a bit awkward because Jimin knew everyone there and you the opposite. You barely knew anyone and weren’t really used to such social events.

But Jimin never left your side. He danced with you the whole night. Some of his friends joined in as well, and although they didn’t really know you, they didn’t care. They wanted you to have fun just like Jimin, and that’s exactly what you did.

Jimin’s POV

Jimin knew that you were having fun. You were smiling so much and he was happy to see you having fun in a place that was out of your comfort zone.

Although you didn’t really know anyone there, Jimin was happy that his friends didn’t exclude you and quickly invited you into the fun. Everyone would finally see you for the amazing person you that really were.

Jimin didn’t stay with you because he thought it would be rude to ditch you, he stayed with you because he wanted to be with you. He wanted to live in that moment with you and only you forever.

Your POV

After the dance, Jimin drove you home. You two raved about how fun the night was.

When Jimin reached your home and you sighed. You didn’t want the night to end, but all good things do.

“Thanks, Jimin, I had a really great time,” you said to him with a smile.

“Me too, Y/N,” Jimin said back.

The two of you stayed in his car for a bit, just looking into each other’s eyes waiting for someone to say something.

“Y/N…” Jimin said softly, with a nervous look. He moves closer to your face and soon you’re only inches apart from each other.

You opened your mouth to say something, but Jimin leaned in and brought his lips to yours, closing the space between the two of you. You close your eyes and melted into his warm kiss.

It was past midnight– the night was already done. But unlike all good things that come to an end, in the moment, you knew that you and Jimin were going to last forever.

Thanks for reading! & lol maybe this actually was really cliche…

Archie x Reader: "Nice to meet you."

Warnings: none
Requested: yes

*your POV*

It was a rainy Saturday night in Riverdale, and as most people’s plans were ruined by the rain, mine were not. Tonight was my date with Archie Andrews, my new boyfriend. We had been dating about a month and a half and every Saturday night he would take me to Pop’s and we’d talk about the week. It was our thing I guess you could say. Friday nights were football and parties and Saturdays were just me and Archie in a booth sipping on a milkshake.

There was always something about the gorgeous blond that attracted you to him. Even when you were younger your favourite superhero was Captain America. Your parents bought you action figures and posters that you showed off with pride. There was actually a box at your parents labelled “Our baby’s first love” that contained most of it. So when you had the chance to work with the man himself you jumped.

Apparently, there was something about you that attracted Steve to you.

On your first day he spent most of him time with you. On your first date you told him how much you idolised him. And the first time he met your parents they were all too eager to show him the large box in their basement.

There only one “first” you hadn’t shared with Steve.

10 Ways to Make Your Dorm Room (almost) Instantly Homier

Whether you’re heading back to college for the fourth or very first time, try these tips to feel at home on campus:

  1. Lamps! Even in the nicest accommodations (like Smith!) the overhead lighting isn’t all that pleasant. A lamp or two (maybe one floor lamp and one bedside) softens the light in the room, and undeniably makes it homier. Pick up some thrift store lamps once you get there, especially if you’re coming from far away, that way you can ditch them at the end of the semester if you can’t store or move them easily (plus thrifted lamps are pretty cheap — I found one of my three lamps on the side of the road, the other two were willed to me).
  2. A rug can make a room feel much warmer, and I much prefer stepping onto a rug when I get out of bed over the cold floor. I’ve also had friends use a rug as a seating area on the floor, lined with throw pillows against the wall (especially good if you’re not a fan of folks sitting on your bed).
  3. Cool it on the high school friends photos. You might see photo collages that take up entire walls on Pinterest and in friends’ rooms, but a few nice photos in frames of family and friends from home can aesthetically and mentally prepare you for new friends and adventures in college.
  4. You can never have too many mugs. The bigger the better — tea, coffee, water, extracurricular beverages (you know, like milk for your cookies), cereal, fruit, yogurt, the mug is one of the most universal dishes.
  5. Extra blankets of different weights will up your cozy factor, and will come in handy when it’s fort building time. You can also fold these up to use as extra pillows for leaning against the wall/on your bed. Especially as you’re adjusting to a new house’s thermostat, a variety of blankets is nice to have as you figure out what makes you comfy.
  6. Fake flowers or plants, or real ones if you’re ambitious, add sweet bursts of color to your very neutral room. I like to keep mine in wine bottles, as it really classes up the place, and is perfect for making a get together with friends or a wine date with a friend/gal pal/boy toy more festive.
  7. Keep the blinds open during the day! If you can, arrange a mirror to reflect the light from the window (my first year my closet door, which had a mirror on the outside, was luckily directly across from a window, and it actually made a substantial difference to the feel of the room).
  8. Have some conversation starters — a favorite album artwork, a poster from a favorite trip/museum visit/concert/movie, a small statue you found in your first year room’s light box (now there’s a story), a map with markers on it (Places you’ve been? Places you want to go? Places people you love are?), a flag from your state/country/political party (I proudly fly the NWP flag and it has made me several friends), something you made or someone made for you (maybe a blanket your grandma crocheted you). Anything that a new friend can ask about and you’ll have more to say than just, “oh I thought it looked nice.” Something with a story is always great, and it’s a great way to find things in common right away. On that note, if you bring books from home, people are going to check them out when they come by your room, so make them count!
  9. A tapestry or something cloth on the wall will really warm up your white-walled room!
  10. Seasonal decor you make yourself, like paper snowflakes with your roommates when you’re ready for snow, or paper flowers for when you desperately want it to be spring — festive and a nice study break!
