quick note to fanfic writers

So I have noticed that there are times when I read fanfic and I really enjoy so much about it - the dialogue, the characterisation, the descriptions. And then I find my enjoyment is hampered a little bit, not a huge amount, by incorrect dialogue punctuation. I realised this is a common problem in fanfic, and I figured a quick tutorial regarding dialogue was in order. I know it seems like a small thing, but I honestly think putting a comma in the place of a full stop/period makes all the difference with a fic’s readability, and the rules themselves are fairly straightforward.

First, just to clarify, a dialogue tag is a verb (i.e. a doing word) that describes how a word is said. Examples of dialogue tags are “said”, “shouted”, “cried”, etc. If the word does not describe specifically how the word is said and instead focuses on another action by the character (such as “coughed” or “laughed” or “smiled”), it is not a dialogue tag and should not be treated as such.

So, when writing dialogue that ends with a question mark:

“Have I told you how much I love you in that dress?” He murmured. (Incorrect)

“Have I told you how much I love you in that dress?” he murmured. (Correct)

The second example is formatted correctly. Remember, you only have to capitalise a word, unless it’s a proper noun (usually names), at the beginning of a new sentence. The “he” is not capitalised because it is still the same sentence and the word “murmured” is a dialogue tag.

Similarly:

“More than a few times now.” She teased. (Incorrect)

“More than a few times now,” she teased. (Correct)

Again, that whole line is one sentence because the word “teased” is the dialogue tag that is directly describing how the dialogue is being said. Notice the comma, as opposed to the full stop/period, and also the fact that “she” is in lowercase.

If the word you are using is not a dialogue tag, you do need a full stop/period. For example:

He coughed, “you look chilly, though.” (Incorrect)

He coughed. “You look chilly, though.” (Correct)

This is because the character coughing is separate from the dialogue itself, which is why the sentence and the dialogue are two distinct sentences. Notice that therefore the start of each sentence is capitalised.

When you continue the dialogue after the dialogue tag:

“I didn’t mean that,” Oliver said, “although I didn’t see it as breaking my vows. Not when your life was at stake.”

Note the underlined commas and the fact that “although” is in lowercase. The way you test this is simple. Simply take out the dialogue tag in its entirety, and if the sentence still makes grammatical sense, you use commas and lowercase.

Let’s test this out.

"I didn’t mean that, although I didn’t see it as breaking my vows. Not when your life was at stake.“

Yep. It still makes sense, so you have punctuated correctly.

Compare that to this example:

"I remember this one too,” she said. “You know, I thought you were going to bleed to death in my car.”

Note the underlined full stop/period and the fact that “You” is capitalised. This is because the sentences are clearly separate (whereas in the last example it was a bit more ambiguous). If you’re confused, just use the test set out above - take out the dialogue tag and see if the sentence makes grammatical sense.

“I remember this one too, you know, I thought you were going to bleed to death in my car.”

If you know anything about comma splicing, you will know that that sentence is most definitely not grammatically correct, so a full stop/period after “too” is in order.

So, in summary:

~use a COMMA and lowercase when using dialogue tags such as “said”, etc.

~use a full stop/period and capitalise the first letter when using verbs that are not dialogue tags (such as “smiled”)

~if you’re unsure when splitting dialogue with a tag in between, take out the tag and see if it makes sense as a sentence on its own. If it does, use commas and lowercase, and if it doesn’t, use a full stop/period and capitalise.

I hope that was somewhat helpful! Grammar is a strange thing - you often don’t realise you’re doing something incorrectly until it is pointed out to you, so don’t feel bad if you realise you’ve been wrongly formatting dialogue all this time! :) It’s not a huge deal, but it honestly makes such a difference for me when reading a fic and not having the flow of the story stopped because I’ve noticed the same mistake being made over and over. Anyway, my inbox is always open if anyone has any questions about this or anything else. I used to beta a lot back in my HP days, so if you’re unsure about anything grammar-wise, I’m your girl. (I mean I’m not your girl - I wasn’t making a pass at you or anything. Or maybe I was…)

Jumps, Explained

So, going by the tags on my recent jump gifsets, the difference between jumps is apparently still a source of great bewilderment for some people. Now I could link you to some excellent posts on the topic, but since I am, as usual, an extra lil piece of dirt with too much work to do and a lifetime’s worth of procrastination, I’ve decided to put together my own layman’s guide to identifying figure skating jumps (stressed on the layman part).

First, here be a flowchart, since everybody loves flowcharts, right?

If the flowchart works as intended and you can now tell the jumps apart, great! If you need a bit more explanation and illustration, read on.

For those of you who write military fics

If you have never been in, or aren’t around people who’ve been in, I would dearly love to give you a few pointers.

Let me preface this: I love it when people write military fics (be they AU or canon-fic). I love the characterizations, the story arcs you create, and the love with which you create the stories.

But I’d like to help you make the actions of military personnel as accurate as possible, so someone who’s actually in doesn’t start to read your fic and roll their eyes at some of the things you unknowingly write.

-First off, you do not salute in civilian clothes. It’s actually unauthorized. There are only two exceptions to this rule: the President is allowed to salute in civvies, and if the national anthem is playing outdoors, combat veterans are now allowed to salute. (That came about in 2010, for accurate reference.)

-Do not salute indoors, unless during a formation (but I doubt people who don’t have intimate knowledge of drill and ceremony would bother writing about a formation, so that point is mostly just thrown in for shits and giggles).

-The army and air force do not say, “sir, yes sir”. That’s a marine thing (I’m not sure about the navy, since I’m not in the navy, but I’m sure someone else could help out if there’s a question about it).

-Saying “black ops” isn’t really something we do. For the army, you’ve got SF (which is how we refer to special forces–the guys you’re probably thinking about (”green beret” is an old term for them that’s not really used anymore)) and Rangers for the two big special operations forces. SEALS are the navy force, and I apologize, but I don’t know the other branches’ special forces. Again, ask someone who’s served in that branch.

-People don’t usually refer to themselves (or others) by their ranks. Exceptions are usually made if hanging out with people from your unit speaking about a superior, such as “Yeah, LT and I were talking the other day and …”.

-Sergeants are not referred to as “sarge”. You have no idea how many people got the shit smoked out of them in basic for that error.

-Army goes through Basic Training (or Basic Combat Training now; BCT for short), and marines go through Boot Camp. Yes, there is definitely a difference in terms. Army people tend to refer to their initial training as simply “basic”. I don’t know about marines or other branches.

-Calling someone “Soldier” is really something only done on TV/film. It’s usually mocked by people who are in.

-In the army, it is against regulation to just stick your hands in your pockets. We mockingly call them “Air Force gloves”, though I don’t know if they typically put their hands in their pockets. There is also a big stigma against wearing “snivel gear”: the poly pro cold-weather protection gear worn underneath your uniform.

-The everyday Army uniforms are called ACUs (Army Combat Uniform). They are never called anything else, but especially not fatigues. If you’re going back to 2003 or earlier, the uniform was BDUs, or the Battle Dress Uniform. The tan uniforms worn during the Gulf War and first few years of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF; Afghanistan) were called first chocolate chips (gulf war-era) and then DCUs (Desert Combat Uniform).

-The dress uniform is called something different depending on what time period you’re going for. Saying “dress uniform” is usually a good bet, because you’ve also got Class A’s, Class B’s, ASUs, Dress Blues, Khakis, etc.

-Typically when meeting someone else who’s in, the first things you ask are, “What’s your MOS (military occupational specialty–your job)? Where were you stationed?” Giving out rank and deployment backgrounds out of the blue don’t usually happen.

-Time spent in the military is usually referred to as simply being “in”. “How long were you in for?” is heard way more often than “how long did you serve for?” That question is usually asked by civilians.

-There are enlisted, and there are officers. Enlisted are those who start out as privates, work their way up through the NCO, or non-commissioned officer ranks: sergeant (called “buck sergeant” in a derogatory term for someone who has been freshly promoted), staff sergeant, sergeant first class, and eventually get to first sergeants and sergeants major after fifteen to thirty years in. Officers also usually start out as privates and specialists, then graduate from college and commission as second lieutenants (the derogatory term is “butter bar” and is usually used in reference to said officer’s lack of experience and knowledge) before working up to first lieutenant, captain, major, lieutenant colonel (”light colonel”), and colonel (”full bird”). The general timeline is making captain (”getting your railroad tracks”) after about 5-8 years for competent officers, and spending 5-10 years as a captain.

-We do not stand at parade rest unless forced. Ever.

-Or at attention.

-When talking to an NCO, a lower enlisted will stand at parade rest. When talking to an officer, an enlisted will stand at attention.

-The highest ranking NCO is lower ranking than the lowest ranking officer.

-If you want to throw in some humor, if there is a lower enlisted (E-4 (specialist) or below) joking with an NCO, and the lower enlisted says something, the NCO can snark back with, “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you because you weren’t standing at the position of parade rest.” It’s a dick move usually to call people out for that, but it happens often enough that if you put that in a fic, someone who’s in will likely laugh at that for a few minutes.

-There is a term for a slacker in the army called POG (pronounced “pohg” with a long o). It stands for Personnel Other than Grunt, meaning everyone who’s not infantry. The term has transformed to mean anyone who shirks their duty or is kind of a shitbag and should be kicked out.

-There’s also a bit of a stereotype that infantry are made up of dumb guys, because you don’t need a high GT score to get that MOS. Their nomenclature for their MOS is 11B (eleven bravo), which is often referred to as an “eleven bang-bang” when trying to insult them.

-If someone is making someone else do push-ups, they do not say “drop and give me x number”. They’ll tell them either to push, or tell them to get in the front-leaning rest. The front-leaning rest position is the starting position for the push-up.

-Usually referring to basic training and AIT (advanced individual training, where you learn your military occupational specialty), you get “smoked” on a regular basis. This refers to PT (physical training), usually in the form of push-ups, flutter kicks, and sprints. It’s not fun. One of the least favorite phrases to hear in basic is, “Platoon, attention! Half-left face! Front leaning rest position, move. In cadence! Exercise!” Because that is the full command for getting people to do push-ups. There is literally no other reason for the half-left face movement. It honestly exists only for push-ups.

-It is awkward as fuck to be told “thank you for your service”. It’s wonderful that people want to show their support, but it is very difficult to respond to that without sounding like a douche.

I know I said a lot about basic training in there, but that’s because I tend to read a lot of fics that are either about basic or about deployments. I can give some pretty firm answers on basic, but everyone’s deployment is different, and I also could be violating a shit-ton of OPSEC (operation security) by telling you guys specific details about deployments. Everything I’ve told you is information you can look up on your own on the internet, but this is a bit more insider’s culture for you to help make your stuff more accurate.

And if you ever find yourself writing a military fic and have questions, by all means, inbox me. I’ve been in for almost nine years and I do have one deployment under my belt, so I can give you accurate army info. I’ve never served in any other branch, though, but I can probably give you a little bit more accurate info than what the movies do if you’ve got general questions.

Also, if you’ve got questions about PTSD, I can help with that. It’s not the cake walk that a good deal of fics portray it as, and it doesn’t always involve nightmares and aversion to touch. It can present as depression, intense anger issues, pulling away from loved ones, driving in the middle of the road, freaking out over pops, bangs, crashes and other unexpected noises, being easily startled by things other than noises, hypervigilance, the inability to sit with one’s back to the room, sudden bouts of anger, depression, tears, silence, or mood swings, among many others.

-Also, please, please, if you’re going to write about someone with a disability, or something that gave them a medical discharge, talk to me about the VA first, unless you’ve got a lot of knowledge about them. Not only am I in, but I’ve also worked professionally for the VA, some of that time in enrollment and eligibility, so I know a lot about disability pensions, who would qualify, what type of benefits they would qualify for, etc. I also know the ways that people can accidentally get screwed over from the VA. (It’s actually one of my long-term professional goals to change some of those things, so I am very passionate and very knowledgeable about it.)

TL;DR: I know shit about the military and the VA. Ask me if you have accuracy questions.

YURI ON ICE FAIRYTALE AU CHAPTER 2  IS BACK

Hello guys! The comic is back from hiatus after a long time (1 month I think?) Sorry for making you guys wait for so long but here it is~. I will address some stuff some of you have been asking me (I’m warning you it’s kinda long)

First off, I cannot guarantee that I will make a regular update like per week or something, but I will try to put out as much content as I can.  ( ・`ω・´)

Second is that some of you have been asking if I will print this as a book in the future and the answer is it’s possible but it might take a while since I’m thinking of finishing a decent amount of chapters first before printing it and because I’ve never printed a book in my life and I’m learning how this stuff works.

Third is I’m trying to make my page easier to navigate so I’m sorry if some of you are confused about where everything is ^^’

Anyway thank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far. I wish you guys lots of love! If you have any question or just want someone to talk with and share headcanons or whatever, hit me up in my inbox or the chat!

The Sun in Astrology: What it is and what it isn’t

The internet has given rise to the self-taught astrologer. Millions of posts on the subject are floating around, which means that teaching yourself astrology should be pretty easy, right? While there is an abundance of great info about astrology online, there is also an abundance of less than great info about astrology as well and it can be hard to filter out what is good info. This post includes some myths about what the Sun is and what it actually represents as well as a chart towards the bottom on how each sign is most likely to experience the Sun’s energy.

The most frequently misconstrued body in astrology is the Sun and I’ve noticed that people frequently attribute actions to the Sun that are actually the functions of other parts of the astrological chart. Astrology can be confusing and mistakes like this are easy to make, but fortunately they’re also relatively easy to correct with the right information. Here are some Myths about the Sun that contribute to people not identifying with their Sun sign.

Myth: The Sun is how I express myself sexually.

Reality: What we are turned on by has much more to do with Mars. Generally speaking, Mars is the driving force that gets us up in the morning and the sign Mars is in provides details into what that is. Venus, on the other hand, is what we are attracted to, what we desire to have and how we desire to have it. Both can be active in men and women despite popularization of men’s sexuality being mars and women’s sexuality being Venus.

Myth: The Sun is what I should do for a career.

Reality: While the Sun can contribute to a certain career path, it can also have nothing to do with it. It all depends on how the Sun interacts with the 10th house, where our “career” potential is located. The Sun can be in any of the 12 houses.

Myth: The Sun is how I act in relationships.

Reality: Again, the Sun can influence this, but only if it interacts with the 7th house. The 7th house has to do with how we approach relationships and what we want in a partner (vs the 1st house which is how we want to be). This is also associated with the planetoid Juno, but that’s a post in itself.

Myth: The Sun is what I’m interested in.

Reality: Kinda sorta maybe? Venus is much more tied to what we desire to have than the Sun is and Mars is what makes us move towards something.

Myth: The Sun is who I am.

Reality: This one is a little closer, but our identity is linked more closely to the 1st house than the Sun is. This is why somebody who is a certain Sun sign may not identify themselves very differently.

Ok, so I’m sure you’re wondering, “Well, Ralph, what IS the Sun, then? All you’ve told us is what it’s not.” The Sun alone is a pretty simple concept: It’s what we live for. It represents our personal ideology, and the house it’s in tells us where we shine the most. The Sun is associated with the happiness of existing and being alive, not things we desire. Unlike other astrological bodies, the Sun (and the moon) are what I call passive actions. We do them, but they’re not something we typically do consciously, vs the other inner planets which are things that we “do”. We actively chase with Mars, communicate with Mercury, and desire with Venus, but the Sun is just what we ARE. In case you’re still not quite with me, here’s a list of how you likely feel your Sun’s warm, glowing energy, but please note that astrology, and people for that matter, are very complex and other factors in your chart may change how this energy is felt and I’ve tried to keep these descriptions very basic because the specifics get changed depending on what house the Sun is in.

Aries: The Sun in Aries feels its solar energy when it is focused. For Aries, moving forward without any regard for anything except moving forward is the key to the Sun.

Taurus: The Sun in Taurus feels its solar energy when it is physically comfortable. For Taurus, having a body that feels good is the key to the Sun.

Gemini: The Sun in Gemini feels its solar energy when it is surrounded by information. For Gemini, knowledge and sharing that knowledge is the key to the Sun.

Cancer: The Sun in Cancer feels its solar energy when it feels like things are familiar and it belongs. For Cancer, bonds and a tribe are the key to the Sun.

Leo: The Sun in Leo feels its solar energy when it is able to express itself. For Leo, being true to itself is the key to the Sun.

Virgo: The Sun in Virgo feels its solar energy when things are exactly where they should be. For Virgo, having a place for everything and it being in that place is the key to the Sun.

Libra: The Sun in Libra feels its solar energy when things are balanced. For Libra, the scales not tipping too far in either direction is the key to the Sun.

Scorpio: The Sun in Scorpio feels its solar energy when things that have gotten too big and stale have been destroyed. For Scorpio, renewal is the key to the Sun.

Sagittarius: The Sun in Sagittarius feels its solar energy when things make sense. For Sagittarius, the dots being connected (which often results in laughter) is the key to the Sun.

Capricorn: The Sun in Capricorn feels its solar energy when it is done waiting. For Capricorn, patience and the results of patience are the key to the Sun.

Aquarius: The Sun in Aquarius feels its solar energy when everything (and or everyone) has an equal place. For Aquarius, connectedness is the key to the Sun.

Pisces: The Sun in Pisces feels its solar energy when it feels infinity and empathy. For Pisces, miracles, tragedies and all the experiences in between are the key to the Sun.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to comment them or inbox me and be sure to share this if it helped you understand (or think it would help someone else understand) the Sun. Otherwise, good luck on your astrological journey :)

In honor of me getting my shit together and deciding to start actively using this blog again, I’d like to present to you a gift! A peace offering, if you will.

BATMANRPH PRESENTS: A MIDDLE EASTERN FC DIRECTORY

Though I definitely hope to update this in the future, as it stands right now, this directory features TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO face claims of Middle Eastern descent. You can use multiple filters to sort, which include Middle Eastern country of origin, secondary ethnic group, gender, age, hair color, and filters for plus size and trans face claims.

Please understand that many of these face claims do not currently have many resources, or any at all! While I will be very slowly working to help remedy this problem, I cannot fix this all on my own. I encourage you all to use and make resources for more Middle Eastern face claims! However I will ask that, if you answer any FC help questions or make any resources and use this directory as a reference, you please provide some sort of credit! I spent lots of time and energy on this masterlist and it would be very nice to have that recognized some way. And, in that same vein, I’d like to take this opportunity to give a bit shoutout to @sonamhelps and her own list of Middle Eastern FCs as that was largely my starting point with this.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for additions, please don’t hesitate to let me know! This will be an ongoing work in progress with any luck, but I think I’ve done about all I can do without some help, so my inbox is open and I’m turning this over to you all now.

FAQ

If you are new to the blog and are looking for any information regarding how to learn Korean, travel, or resource material, please refer to my Korean Resource Masterpost and my Self Study Guide.

If your question is grammar related, please check to see if it has been answered. If not, please feel free to ask!

Inbox Rules:

1) I don’t do translations - Translations are not the focus of this blog, and since I receive so many of them, it is impossible to keep on top of. So for this reason, any translation requests in my inbox will be deleted from now on - no exceptions. I apologise for the inconvenience.

2) I will delete repeated questions - By this, I just mean that sometimes I have more than one of the same question in my inbox at the same time. So I will keep the question that was asked first, and delete any repeats within my inbox. So if I don’t specifically answer your question, but I release an answer with a similar question, you’ll know why I didn’t respond. However, if you still have something left unanswered, feel free to specify and send me another ask and I’ll do my best to respond.

3) I will link - If I receive a question that has been answered before, I will just do what I normally do and link to other posts that help to answer the question! So don’t worry if you ask something that has been asked before - I am more than happy to link you to the answer, since I know phone users especially can’t navigate my posts easily. ^^

4) Ask box only - If you have a Korean related question, please enquire through my ask box and not my messages. Thank you.

Those are really the only four rules. Thank you for understanding!

Do you use any other social media?

I have an Instagram for Korean Idioms, and another Instagram for all my vocabulary study cards! I also have a Twitter for updates! And a Memrise for vocabulary!

How long have you been studying Korean?

Honestly, not long! I’ve only been dabbling in the language since late October 2015.

Do you self study?

Yes. I try to dedicate at least four hours a week into learning grammar and vocabulary.

What is your native language?

My mother tongue is English!

What is your name?

Most people call me Elle (pronounced Ellie)! My real name is Emily.

Will you add audio to your study cards?

I did consider making audio for the pronunciation, however I came to the conclusion that the quantity of vocabulary I’m supplying each week is already being juggled on top of university work. So making videos or audio would only increase the work and provide difficult to keep up. Although, I’m not completely dismissing the idea, so I’ll see what happens!

Will you add romanisation to you study cards?

I personally don’t think that romanisation is necessary, and quite often, it seems to be that learners can find it restrictive. This is mainly due to the fact that it can actually inhibit proper pronunciation and hinder reading fluency. Romanisation also has the habit of contradicting advanced pronunciation rules, and for these reasons, I don’t like to include it. I also had an open discussion with most of you about adding it - and it seems that a majority would dislike me to include romanisation. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Am I allowed to save the study card you’ve made?

Of course. That’s why I make them! ;) However, I do not allow the re-uploading of any of my flashcards without first asking permission. I put time and effort into these study cards, and it’s upsetting to see my work posted without proper credit.

Why did you start learning Korean?

I love language, and have dabbled in many! I decided to learn a language completely different to anything I’ve learnt before, so I picked Korean randomly. I fell in love with it, and from there I’ve found a secret passion for Korean drama!

What other languages have you studied/know?

I have studied German, French, Russian, Japanese, and have recently just started to learn Danish. Although, Korean has been the most fun!

Alright, so. Thanks to the ones who said they didn’t want me to go but modding here’s become more stressful than fun for me. When going in I thought it was pretty clear that each mod would deal with their own blunders, but apparently we all have extremely different levels of awareness and it’s not happening. I’m also the only one using the warning list I took days to gather, which makes it not very useful. And I can’t be here all the time and it’s stressful to wake up or come home home to several angry messages about posts that I had no idea existed but that I now have to apologize for. Not to say that you guys are wrong for being angry—it’s just that considering the nature of some of those posts I just feel very uncomfortable having them associated with me in any way or apologizing for them when I would’ve never made them myself in the first place.

However, I don’t want to have to watch over everything here like a hawk, because it’s not my job, and I’m not the boss of the other mods (I don’t want to be either). My ethics aren’t the same as theirs and that’s fine but it’s making being here a little toxic for me. So I’m gonna leave the blog, and if you want to react to this I ask that you do it to me, personally and not harass the other mods or clutter the inbox with your commentary. First because obviously I won’t have access to the blog’s inbox anymore and won’t be able to answer anyway, second because it’s my decision and they have no responsibility in it, nor should they have to face any negativity or intrusive questions about it. Thank you.

Overall it’s still been a lot of fun to be a mod here, and if EJ and Zoë decide to replace me I hope they find someone a lot better than me. Have a good day!

Spins, Explained

So, as a follow-up to my previous layman’s guide on jump identification, this time, let us try to make sense of all the different types of figure skating spins.

Now, before we start, not to discourage you or anything, but keep in mind that spin is a topic more complicated than you might think, mostly because spins can come in endless flavors and weird naming conventions and skaters constantly invent new ways to mix and match. Another note is that this post will cover spins in single skating only - I don’t watch enough pairs and ice dance to have proper knowledge on their spins.

A couple of terms you will want to understand when it comes to spins:

Position refers to the way the skater holds their body while spinning. There are 3 basic positions, each of which comes in many different variations, in other words, different movements of the skater’s body while holding to the general shape of the basic position.

Level refers to the difficulty of the spins. There are 5 levels in total: B (no level) and Level 1 to 4.

Level feature is how the spin levels are determined. One feature = one level, so a spin must have 4 features counted in order to be a Level 4. The ISU defines, in total, 13 different types of features a spin can have, any 4 of these in a spin will make it a level 4. Well, don’t sweat, this is just general information. We are most definitely not getting into all the technical details of all these features today. Layman’s guide, remember?

Incidentally, it’s worth pointing out that Level and Grade of Execution (GOE) are independent, as I’ve seen some new fans confusing the two. Level reflects how difficult the spin is, while GOE is about how well it is executed. Think of it this way, the equivalence of level for a jump is the number of rotations, whether it’s a single, double, triple, or a quad. Jump of any rotations and spins of any level can be awarded GOE ranging from -3 to +3 and this has no direct correlation with the number of rotations/number of level features.

With that, let’s move on to look at the 3 basic spin positions and some of their more popular variations.

As usual I created something I need for one of my blogs! This is a fun little character connection/muse/network page! It features images that when over show a little quote or song lyrics, a section for a description or bio as well as three little links to the profile, tag and threads of that person!

Details:

  • The images are 200px by 200 px.
  • There are 3 customizable links for each person (the preset is profile, tag & threads - but these can be edited).
  • Must have some HTML/Coding knowledge.

Please do not claim this work as your own, use as a base code, repost or remove credit. If you need any help editing the blog, have questions or find an error in the coding, please contact me directly through inbox here. Please like/reblog if using and feel free to message me links to your blog if you use my theme, I’d love to see what you do with it!! Enjoy!

Hey, guess what! To thank you guys for 4K, I’m hosting an art raffle! To those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s basically me entering the names of everyone who reblogs this into a generator and the first three get some art!

Here’s how you enter:
-reblog ONCE, if you reblog this more than once I most likely won’t enter your username. This is solely because I don’t want to make this process longer than it needs to be.
-tag as fcg4k

Guidelines:
-The winners will be announced by April 10. After April 10, I won’t enter any more usernames into the generator or hat or whatever I’m going to use.
-I won’t accept anything NSFW or graphic, nothing illegal (pedophilia, necrophilia/bestiality, you get the gist).
-If you win and you request an OC or character I don’t know, I’m gonna need a reference sheet or detailed description of the character or subject of the drawing.
-Furries or kin art is also fine.

Thanks again for 4K, and if you have any questions feel free to ask me or send something into my inbox. If you do have questions, please try to ask me through my inbox instead of messaging me privately, as others may share the same question. Thank you! :)
