You Can’t Pin Me Down - Part 1
Addiction is no stranger to rock stars and punks, everybody knows that. Obviously when you got those two exes tattooed on your palms you believed you’d be an exception. In fact you were not. At least you had not been. You were suffocating on reality up until then. You loved what you did. The adrenaline watching the crowd, joining them at times, but it wore on you. Your body was tired, you were physically exhausted constantly. The drugs and alcohol made you float, they helped you feel like you can go on stage another day, do what you love one more day. You’d been suffocating until the day that you’d met him.
All of his friends and family disapproved but he couldn’t help falling in love from the moment he met you. That day is very clear to you. It was one of your first shows in Japan. Your band wasn’t huge but you guys had made a name for yourselves (many people blame your pretty little connections through your years as a tattoo artist in America) but you were playing a show in Japan, so those opinions didn’t really matter much.
