if you don't like them you're wrong

Eliminating a toxic person from your life is very much like going to the eye doctor for an annual checkup. You don’t notice anything wrong with your vision/current prescription until you get a new prescription and everything looks so much better and brighter all of a sudden

Civil agree-to-disagree discussions are my absolute favourite. No real anger, no backbiting, just “I think this” and “But I think that” and even when you finish and both look at each other, simultaneously thinking “They are so amazingly wrong, damn,” that mutual respect just makes me really happy.

I’m not in the business of stripping a character from their flaws in order to ‘justify’ loving them.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

If you have to reduce the character you love to a ‘precious cinnamon roll’ in order to enjoy them, you’re boring.

Alternatively, if you have to embellish a characters flaws and vilify them to the point wherein they’re nothing but an evil one-dimensional being, you’re ugly.

And I can’t decide which is worse.

let gay people (especially gay men) be mad about LeFou

let latinx (especially Mexicans) be mad about Coco

stop trying to invalidate their feelings because the house of mouse can do no wrong

if you’re gay or latinx and enjoy the respective products, good for you, but stop trying to make others feel wrong for not feeling the same way you do

if you’re not then you don’t have a place dictating their feelings whatsoever

let people be mad about things that actually affect them. no one has to be positive all the time

baby, go home. he’s seen somebody else’s eyes and fallen into them.

i know it hurts in places you can’t touch, i know the sky feels darker for it. but he’s loved somebody else, baby, and so should you.

don’t stay. you’ll spend your time worrying what you did wrong, whether tomorrow you’ll wake up and he’ll be gone. you’ll try to become better for him when you’re already somebody’s impossible dream. you’ll try to be her when you’re already exactly who you need to be.

people make mistakes, but nobody accidentally winds up naked. either he loves you enough to keep his clothes on, or he doesn’t love you enough for you to waste your time on him.

go home. cry. take long showers. tell yourself you deserve better than a future spent worrying about him.

relationships are built on trust. find somebody who won’t mess it up.

for the final time r*t is a racial slur so please stop saying it

shiro seeing allura as his co-pilot though

  • they know nothing about the lions other than the mental suggestion link and what characteristics of themselves the lions align with and suddenly, he’s supposed to lead a mini-herd (of children that sometimes fly like drunk toddlers, “don’t make me turn this cat robot around”)
  • they’re flying these robots that are exclusively linked to Allura’s life line, the thought makes him immensely honored and nervous
    • he treats the bond with respect and he’s so impressed with her when Hunk graciously body slams the yellow lion into the red or Lance and Keith nose dive into the sand dunes at full throttle, but she refuses to give up on them
  • when the battle gets intense, she makes impassioned speeches over their headsets to not give up hope, to keep going, repeating over and over and over again that they can do this - she knows they can
    • they can’t help but believe her - she’s from an advanced culture of intellectuals and warriors so she must know some things without the doubts they still shoulder
    • in the same winded breath, she assures them if they can’t do it or something happens, she will be there. they will not be alone, not ever again. (”nobody fck touches my children”)
  • she can switch from speaking to all of her team to just one, but he doesn’t broadcast that fact to the others
    • when he flies, his lion reveals everything to her. she knows when it’s getting to be too much and he’s teetering on the brink of being mentally slingshot back to a place he cannot stand to be in
    • when his fingers tremble over the controls, her words are warm and soft in his ears in such wildly stark contrast to her hoarse war cry.
    • “I’m right here, Shiro. I’m not going anywhere, paladin. You are so strong and I’m so proud of you. We’re doing this together.”
    • thinking about her reaching out to Lance, Keith, Hunk, and Pidge in turn as distress crests over their confidence makes his heart ache in the best way
  • when they barely throw on the breaks before tumbling out of the lions in their hangars, she’s sprinting down the halls with Coran at her side to meet them
    • she’s checking them all for injuries and ruffling their hair before moving onto the next and it’s a silent agreement that his team always, always comes before him
    • the only thing that persuades him from leaving the lion - breaking that connection for even a moment - is when she throws her arms around his neck and the chill of his Galra arm is chased away and he feels whole again
  • he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he’s a tired space dad just trying to live and he cannot deal with four teenagers 24/7 “go ask your mother”
black-sun-dreamer a réagi à votre billet “Ichigo during the last arc =already in love with orihime”

You mean the Lost Agent arc?

The thousand year blood war arc actually .

I think it went like this :

first arc= lowkey crush like he find her pretty and funny but that’s it

Soul society arc =real crush he begins to know her and think she is an amazing person

Vizard arc = The crush is turning into something more but he doesn’t know it

Hueco mundo arc = He’s in love with her but does not realize it yet because he is not accustomed to this feelings and he’d rather not think about this kind of stuff because he has crazy tons of self esteem issues because of his hollow and shit and he probably think he does not deserve her

Timeskip = Slowly coming to the realization that  he does love her . Does not dwell on it because he feels worthless about the loss of his powers and feels he cannot protect her and is not good enough

Last arc = regained his powers , is confident in himself, made peace with himself over his hollow and his powers . In this last arc he allows himself to reach out to her much more often . He consols her twice,he pulls her close to him to put her out of arms way, he’s kinda showing off when he show her his new hollow form ‘this time I’m still me’ , he smiles this big smile at her because his hollow is not a menace anymore nor for himself or for his friends , he asks her to protect him in battle because he knows how strong she has gotten BASICALLY I think in this last arc he let himself be in love with her because he dealt with his self esteem issues

PSA: the phrase is “free rein,” not “free reign.”  It is a horse metaphor, not a rulership metaphor, referring to loosening the pull of the reins on the horse’s mouth, which gives them a degree of freedom of motion unavailable to them if you keep them on a tight rein.

It is related to the phrase, “I gave him his head,” although “free rein” is more frequently used these days because “I gave him his head” is a delicious and almost too easy opportunity for innuendo :’D
