if there's any difference

I’M STILL ONLY IN ACT 2 SO PLEASE DON’T TALK ABOUT SHADOWS OF VALENTIA SPOILERS IN RESPONSES OR TAGS… But I recently read some tidbits about Act 6 that were about our favorite deadbeat dragon dad, and of course since they go against some of DE’s “canon”, I needed to create a stupid joke to get around it.

And here it is.

pretty sure Michael would be regularly keeping Trevor from killing people who stared at them if they were even a lil gay in public together…

((i also like to think he told Trevor they’d tail the guy and cut his car brakes instead))

@louislumbarcurve thanks for the suggestion!!

Serizawa was a castle.

He was built up of stone walls, weathered and crumbling, grown over with moss. His skin was dense walls, frail but strong, hidingempty corridors as veins and lifeless, dusty rooms. His heart was the center of the fortress, surrounded by weakening defenses and blocked away. His eyes were glass mosaic windows, dense with muted colours, the light just barely seeping through. Vines and plants grew up around his feet, trailing and slithering against his skin, digging into the cracks and gouges and blackened marred marks left behind by countless weapons. He was rooted into place, stuck where he was, left to wither away.

Studying chemistry this evening after a further maths exam this morning. I’m so close to being finished with exams that it’s hard to find the motivation to keep studying 😥

For Kaity.

For @kaitymccoy123, after a rough day. I love you to bits, dear, and I think they lost out, not you. I hope this is decent (banged it out on lunch break, posting quickly. Probably riddled with errors). Also, it’s incredibly difficult to find a good AOS Scotty gif.

“I didn’t get it.”

“Ya what?” Monty’s nose crinkles in a way that you would normally find adorable. As it is, the entire world seems dampened by the bitter disappointment that snakes through your chest, and your answering smile is hollow.

“The job. I didn’t get it.” Despite your best efforts, you feel your voice hitch a little on the words.

“The rat bastards,” he spits, dropping his spanner and pulling you into his arms, heedless of the fact that you’re in the E deck corridor for all to see. You smush your nose into the mesh fabric of his red shirt and let him hold you tight.

“Shh, shh, shh, shh,” he murmurs, more an instinctive litany of comfort than actual shushing. He rocks you gently back and forth, threading agile fingers through your dark hair. His skin smells of bay rum aftershave and something vaguely singed, and it crosses your mind to ask him, later, how the refit is coming. He presses his lips to your temple and sighs heavily through his nose. “The silly sods don’t know a good thing when they’ve got it.”

His words send hot tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. Silly as it is, to cry feels a little like defeat, like one last punch in the gut. You pull back, biting at your lip and swiping your face in frustration.

Monty catches your hands in his. “My heart,” he says softly, reaching to thumb away the tear-tracks that stain your cheeks. “I know what I’ve got right here.” His eyes are dark as he stares at you for a long moment, as if memorizing your features. You can see, suddenly, that he shares your heartbreak. He clasps his fingers around the nape of your neck, planting a gentle kiss on your forehead and fluttering his eyes closed. “I have the very best thing, Kaity. I have you.”

Bonus, because I just can’t resist.

So, we discovered a new and very recently observed fact about Jane Austen at the Centre in Bath yesterday: she was engaged twice in her life. You might know about the first guy, one Harris Bigg-Wither. Looks like a dandy in his portrait but she was only engaged to the man for 12 hours before deciding he wasn’t for her and running away from the inn they were at.

The second engagement is a little more touching and newly discovered. Jane was engaged to a clergyman from Lyme Regis. We don’t know his name because he died about 6 months into the engagement and Jane, not wishing to trumpet her love and her heartbreak or her secret engagement, told her sister, Cassandra, that she didn’t want it spoken about and that was an end to it. Cassandra had had a similar situation a few years earlier so she respected Jane’s feelings. I go away to Lyme Regis every year and I assume this man’s death is recorded in the parish records. He can only be one of a few men of that age group and that profession within that time period. I want to find out about him!

  • Me: That's awesome, man. Good for you.
  • Someone: *proceeds to bash and ridicule other ships*
  • Me: What the heck, man! Not effing cool!

Hello, I was wondering if there's any official info about the character's heights? Because I've seen different sites saying different stuff about each character, the only one who stays the same in all sites is Usagi with 4'11''.

As far as I know there isn’t an official measurement of the senshi.

There is, however, this settai from the first season where they compare the main character heights for visual references and animation purposes.

Unfortunately, they didn’t give any numerical information just visual reference.

Actually, we have numerical reference coming from the Sailor Moon RPG Resource book.

Usagi - 4'11’’
Ami - 5'2’’
Rei - 5'3’’
Makoto - 5'6’’
Minako - 5'0’’
Mamoru - 6'2’’
Haruka - 5'8’’
Michiru - 5'4’’
Setsuna - 5'6’’
Hotaru - 3'9’‘

Nonetheless, I don’t consider this canon since this info says that Ami is actually taller than Minako when this isn’t the case in any Sailor Moon installment.

Unless Crystal comes up with new profile bios with this kind of information, we’ll never have official and canon information about their heights.

Not that this is a problem imo.
