You were still stunned after what Cas had said to you. As you sat alone in your bedroom, his words echoed over and over again in your mind. You had been able to successfully dodge your oldest brother, but you knew he’d show up at any moment. As if he knew you were thinking about him, Dean started banging on your door.
“(y/n) you better open this damn door right now!”
You sighed. You knew this had been coming. Not only had you disregarded him. But you also went out on a hunt all by yourself and almost died. Reluctantly, you got off your bed and unlocked the door.
Dean slammed the door open. You could tell he was furious. As he opened his mouth to start yelling at you, you threw your hand up effectively cutting him off. “Look Dean, I know I shouldn’t have taken off like that and I should have listened. I’m really not in the mood to get yelled at, so how about we skip ahead to the part were you accept my apology and we move on.”
Dean stared at you in shock. After collecting his thoughts he said, “I’m not going to yell at you (y/n). I forgive you but you broke my trust and you’re going to have to earn that back. You’re my little sis and I love you, but you can’t keep doing shit like that. Ok?”
“Ok Dean.” You rolled your eyes.
“Oh by the way have you seen Sam?”
“Yeah I saw him about an hour ago. He and I were chatting in the library while I was hiding from you.”
“Oh ok, well I’m going to go find him. I think I found a potential hunt.” He then turned and walked out the door in search of Sam.
You sighed again. It had been over 12 hours since Cas declared his love for you. For some reason right after his declaration he just left. Now you were left wondering if he regretted it or even worse, didn’t mean it.
“You don’t have to doubt my love for you (y/n).“ Cas’s voice rang out behind you causing you to jump.
“Wh-what?!?” You stammered.
“(y/n), I can hear when you’re thinking of me. It’s the same as if you were praying to me, I can hear both.”
You blushed. “Oh, I didn’t know that. Good to know.”
Cas gave you a soft smile. “(Y/n), please don’t ever doubt my love for you. You are my everything and I would do anything for you.”
Tears of joy filled your eyes. Cas walked up to you and gently cupped your check. He then leaned down and placed a gentle kiss upon your lips. The kiss quickly escalated. It was filled with passion and longing.
But of course the moment was ruin when you brother came in “Hey (y/n), Sam and I…. What the hell?!?” He shouted. You and Cas quickly jumped apart. “What the hell do you think you’re doing with my little sister Cas?!?”
Cas just awkwardly stood there. “Dean, you know what? It’s none of your business!” You snapped.
“No, we need to talk about this right now! He growled back.
“Fine, then let’s talk!” You shouted back.
“Cas you better start talking.” Dean snapped.
Cas glanced at you. “(Y/n) and I are together Dean. She and….”
“No, I don’t accept or approve of this!” Dean interrupted.
“You know what I’ve just about had it!” You shouted. “Guess what Dean, I’m an adult, I can date anybody I like. And for your information, I could never find anyone better than Cas. And I love him. So either you accept it and move on or I’m leaving.”
Dean’s jaw clenched. As he started to open his mouth to respond. Cas started speaking. “I love (y/n). I would do anything for her. I will do everything within my power to love and cherish her forever. So would you really like to protest that? Or will you rethink your stance and wish us well?”
You could see the fight go out Dean. “Fine.” He muttered. “But if you hurt her Cas, so help me, I will kill you.” With that proclamation Dean stomped out of the room.
“Don’t mind him.” You laughed. Cas silenced you with a kiss.
As he broke the kiss Cas said “I love you (y/n) and I always will.”
