if it was ignore me

you know what doesn’t get talked about enough?

that time they did that interview for the ‘this is us’ promo tour where liam was talking about singing in the shower and how he’d been doing it that same morning and was worried he was gonna wake zayn up with his singing and i feel like hardly anyone ever brings this up/talks about it but like??? why would he be worried about his shower singing waking zayn up unless they were…idk…maybe sharing a hotel room????? like boyfriends do?????

(((((and yet we were told at the time that when they stayed in hotels they all had their own rooms but like if they really all had their own separate hotel rooms like we were made to believe they did at that point why would liam be up showering early in the morning in a room he didn’t sleep in???? or why would zayn be still asleep in a room where liam’s presumably staying and showering in???? unless they…possibly…i don’t know…SHARED said room [*pretends to be shocked*] but why would two men in a band be sharing a room at a point in their career when they could clearly afford their own [and also both had “steady gf’s” lol] and at a time where we got repeated reports that they did all in fact have their own separate rooms??? why would there be a need to lie and cover up that they still shared rooms unless there was a reason for them sharing that their team felt warranted it being covered up, i.e. something going on [something not-so-innocent and very non-platonic maybe wink wink] that they didn’t want getting out [otherwise why not just say they shared rooms but that it was just a friendly thing?]?????)))))

basically, if there was really nothing there, there’d be nothing to cover up.

and yet.

Man oh man is this song over-produced. Just listen to the effects on Louis and Liam’s voices. It’s insane how much they ruined the natural rock sound that they had with the production. Especially Louis. If I may, Louis’ voice was kind of made for songs like “Rock Me” where he can belt and show his range. He owns this song without even having to try, but the studio version is just…it makes him sounds like he needs autotune when he doesn’t? Listen to this recording of the boys singing “Rock Me” without Harry, who was unfortunately getting sick during this song (my poor son), and compare it to the studio version (the only video was this cheesy lyric one haha).

Anyone with ears can tell how this song relies on Louis’ passionate and strong vocals. He doesn’t need the amount of production they put in the studio version at all. It’s just an insult to him and the rest of the band that they put so much electronic crap in the recording. Okay. That’s it. That’s all I’ve got.

I really want to get Taylor’s attention but I feel like when I’m actively trying to get it, it takes a toll on my self esteem and energy levels. It’s not healthy to sit on my phone for hours hoping for a simple like or whatever. It’s so exhausting. I think if I really deserve to have her attention and to be invited to some event it’ll come to me naturally. I can’t spend my days self reblogging and coming up with funny posts. That’s just not my natural state. For some people it is, and that’s great but I need to focus on my creative pursuits more than anything if I want to be happy in the future. So I’m not a fake fan if I’m not on here cracking jokes about every little thing. Sometimes I only have the energy to reblog stuff and that’s ok. Maybe Taylor isn’t interested in people like me and I’m going to have to learn to be ok with that. I may not meet her this era. That’s fine, as long as I focus on my music maybe she’ll see me someday. Who knows. But no matter what it’s ok.
