Warning: major MSR fluffberg up ahead, nothing but fluff <3 Here is a little something for Mother’s Day :)
Sunday, May 13, 2001
Her mother, after a lot of pleading and cajoling, had set up a baby shower for noon that day. Mulder also helped convince Scully that it would be nice. After all, it was a normal and pleasant thing to do when expecting a child as opposed to worrying about impending alien colonization. He left that last part out in his argument and she raised an eyebrow at what her mother’s idea of a good time would be.
Margaret Scully had not very subtly announced that throwing a party for her mother-to-be daughter would make that Mother’s Day one of the most memorable ones to date. Scully agreed and Mulder couldn’t hide his gratitude for it being a ‘Ladies Only’ celebration. That earned him a pinch to his side from his unborn child’s mother.
“It’ll be fun,” he reminded her again for the second time in the past hour.
He had arrived with a pretty mix of flowers in pink, purple, and cream colors. The florist recommended the selection of tulips and irises as the best choice for the occasion and he was glad for the help. He was more grateful when Scully took them in her arms and smiled in that adorable way she did when she was very pleased. They were immediately placed in a vase and showcased on the table behind the couch. Since then, he had made himself comfortable on her bed watching her get ready.
“I don’t really know any of these women,” she said as she stepped into her closet.
He had also planned on doing something special for her and he hoped there would be enough time. She settled on a beige dress with a light floral pattern and he took that as his cue to start carrying out his plan.
“I have something for you,” he informed her as he rose from his perch on the bed.
“Wonders never cease with you, Mulder,” she beamed.
He put his hand on her lower back and led her out towards the living room.
“Wait,” she said stopping. “I need to use the bathroom.”
He couldn’t help but smile as he watched her walk away. He had watched her body stride down hallways before as the ever resourceful agent, doctor, and scientist. He had also enjoyed watching the sway of her hips as the beautiful woman that she was. Now, he could add mother of his child to that list and the realization choked him up.
His hand delved into his pocket and fingered with the blue velvet box that was there. He thought of giving her this gift along with the doll a few weeks back but today was a better occasion.
After she was done, they sat down on her couch and he took her small hand in his.
“I wanted to show you how much you mean to me, Scully.”
He traced lines along her palm.
“Message received,” she said with another smile. He started feeling at ease that he was able to make her smile again rather than the grief he had subjected her to during his disappearance and after coming back. “This is wonderful.”
“You deserve so much more,” he half argued.
“Mulder,” she told him with a slight frustrating lilt in her tone. “You don’t have to do any of this. I know-”
“No, Scully. I’m not doing this out of obligation or because I think this is what you want,” he protested.
He squeezed her hand to emphasize his words.
“I know I’ve been a total ass and I also know you understand where I was coming from.” He paused for a beat to gather his thoughts and his hand went to her cheek. “But I’m not doing this because of that even though I should take you on a cruise or something to start making up for the way I acted.”
She let out a little laugh but her eyes began to tear up, the blue becoming more reflective than a body of water.
“I love you,” he affirmed with his hand making its way to the back of her neck. “It took me a while to figure it out but I do. Now more than ever.”
His hand came to rest on her belly and gently stroked it.
“Mulder,” she let out in a little sob.
“I just wanted to do something special for you today because from now on this day will also be about you,” he murmured. “So get used to this, Scully.”
He let go of her and reached into his pocket and pulled out the velvet case. She couldn’t contain her surprise and excitement as her breath became hitched. He placed the box in her hands and she quickly determined that it was too big to just contain one item inside it. He knew that she didn’t expect a marriage proposal. Before his disappearance, they had barely touched on cohabitation. She worried that it would only be because of the baby and it was too soon after everything that happened.
She opened it and exclaimed, “Mulder, they’re beautiful!”
“I bought these before I- before Oregon,” he explained.
She looked down to examine the set. The pearl earrings were simple studs like she preferred and the bracelet was stunning as it caught the natural light. Small pearls at the clasp fanned out until larger pearls met a diamond. Three scattered between five of the larger pearls. It was delicate as much as it was overwhelming. It was subtle and a throwback to a time when pearls were worn by housewives as they ironed and mended.
“After the procedure didn’t take, I wanted to bring it up and let you know that you should still try for a chance at motherhood,” he continued. “I knew there were other options, whether they involved me or not.”
“This wouldn’t have been possible without your involvement, Mulder,” she quipped, taking his hand and placing it back on her belly.
He laughed and smoothed his palm over their unborn child.
“Well I read once that pearls symbolize wisdom and are believed to attract wealth and luck as well as offer protection,” he recited in his classic monotone. “The pearl is also said to symbolize the generosity, integrity, and loyalty of its wearer… I couldn’t help but think of you.”
By now the tears that had been collecting in her lash line made their way down her cheeks resembling the delicate pearls he had just given her.
“So I thought I could give you these and ask you to try again because… you see, I wanted this too,” he said continuing his caressing of her belly.
She rose slightly and leaned towards him. Her arms circled around his neck with her right hand still grasping the jewelry case. He drew her closer, the expanse of her belly no longer an obstacle between them as he’d learned a new way to hold her. It was six weeks since he came back from being gone and dead and her swollen stomach was the closest to normal compared to what he had seen.
She rested her cheek on his chest and a little contented sigh escaped upon hearing the strong rhythm within. They embraced for a while until they slightly separated to look at each other.
“I love you, Mulder.”
He kissed her on the forehead and smiled at her.
“Happy Mother’s Day, Scully.”
“Technically, I’m not a mother yet,” she countered with a smile.
His eyes swept over her and he gave her a knowing look.
“You’ve been a mother since conception. You’re doing so much for our baby.”
“I like it when you say ‘our’,” she told him running her fingers down his chest.
She stared at his lips and he leaned even closer.
Her lips parted and he brushed them with his. Then he tasted her with his tongue as he traced across her bottom lip. They kissed and the rest of the world stood still. It was slow and soft, providing the comfort that both of them needed from each other. His hand came to rest below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their mouths mingled. They continued that way until the knock on the door alerted them that Maggie was there to finish setting up for the party.
Summary: you didn’t expect for Jungkook to forgive you, when your last words to him were i hate you. but you had no idea that his memory would erase everything about you, let alone have his fair share of hating you.

Baby steps — first stages in long or challenging processes; in which it is that you’re slowly doing with Jungkook. Time takes to heal, therefore you’ll take baby steps in having him remember you and bring him back. You miss your friend—and the only person you now know who can make your heart beat endlessly.
The first few tries was difficult, since Jungkook had no interest in wanting to get to know you. He’d push you away and remind you countless of times that he has a girlfriend whom he loves ever so much.
It is late in the evening as they stand outside their hotel room, drunk off champagne and high off their love. They giggle as he lifts her bridal style, his small wiry frame stronger than it looks. Bride and groom work together to slide the key into the slot before he manages to kick open the door with his leather boot.
They cross the threshold like tradition, though they are not the most traditional couple.
“Happy wedding, my wife,” he whispers as he presses a kiss to her temple.
“Happy wedding, my husband,” she mummers back, squeezing him a bit before setting foot back on the ground.
The honeymoon suite is as beautiful as it is expensive, with a plush bed and a marble shower, but neither feel like exploring since they only have eyes for each other and the night to come.
He’s undoing his bow tie and hanging up his black tuxedo jacket when she calls to him, “Megamind? Can you help me, dear?”
She’s sitting on the bed with knees tucked under her, her arms bent up to the middle of her back awkwardly, but her fingers barely touch the buttons. Looking up at him, she smiles, her red lipstick still as perfect when he saw her this morning, her lashes full as she bats them.
With her dress splayed around her, the white tulle covering the whole bed, his heart skips a beat. This angel is indeed my wife, he thinks, his heart swelling in his chest.
She bites her lip, trying to suppress a grin, “Megs? Are you going to help or are you just going to keep giving me that dopey face?”
He rolls his eyes dramatically, huffing, but his eyes are sparkling, “Barely married and you’re already making fun of me, Miss Ritchi?”
“Mrs. Mind,” she corrects automatically as he settles behind her on the bed, his blue fingers reaching for the top buttons.
“Ah yes,” he agrees, “Mrs. Mind.” His heart is so full of love.
This is actually real.
“So, Mrs. Mind,” he stresses, “what were your little good luck charms for toady?”
She pats his knee as he fiddles with the buttons slowly, humming a bit as she is in thought, “Well,” she starts, “my something old are these pearl earrings. Had them since I was a girl.”
“And your something new?” he whispers, pressing a kiss to her nape, his fingers taking their time with the dresses’ buttons.
She gasps and leans her back into his chest, “My something new? That would be this new bracelet Wayne bought for me.” She shakes her wrist, the gold and diamonds gleaming in the light. “He has such wonderful taste.”
Two more kisses, one for each shoulder, “Accepting gifts from another man,” he teases with a nip. “What am I going to do with you?”
She laughs and swats his leg. “Let’s see, my something borrowed?” She says slowly, as he flicks his tongue on her neck again, “This hair clip is from my niece,” she whispers as she points to little heart barrette that’s pinned in her brown hair.
She wiggles off her heels, white pumps with cute bows, “I also did have a silver sixpence in my shoe!”
He stops peppering her back with kisses and peers over her shoulder, and before his eyes is indeed a silver sixpence. He wraps his arms tight around her, laughter bubbling up with each word, “What is this? The 1800s?”
She grabs his hand and entwine hers with his, “Hey! This coin has been to many weddings, I’ll have you know!”
He kisses her cheek, soft and sweet, “Yes, dear.” As if an afterthought, he wonders against her skin, “What about your something blue?”
She turns around then, her big blue eyes staring right at him. Standing on her knees, she holds his face in her hands, her eyes crinkling at the edges, “My something blue?” she ghosts upon his lips.
“Yeah,” he breathes. They’re so close, but barely touching, leaving electricity to charge between them. He wants to kiss her.
Her voice is barely above a whisper, the room standing still, “It’s you.”
But he can’t help himself as his heart swells again, his chest tight and ready to burst. He pulls her close and captures her lips with his, tasting all that is her.
God, I love you his heart whispers not for the first time, but not for the last either.
Everlerk 6. “Explain it to me again - why do we need to pretend to be married?” pretty please!?
Ooo – good one! Written in an hour, so forgive the blunders, please. :)
“Explain it to me again – why do we need to pretend to be married?”
Peeta chanced a glimpse at his girlfriend and grimaced. She looked seriously annoyed as they stood outside the restaurant waiting for his family to show up. He wrapped her in his arms and bent down to kiss her.
Katniss turned her head at the last second and his lips landed on her cheek instead.
“Aw, c’mon,” he cajoled. “I’ve already said I’m sorry a million times. She was going on and on and I couldn’t stand it anymore. It just slipped out.”

I’m still thinking if I should get Pink, Blue and Yellow Diamond too. I mean, I have ONE diamond, so shouldn’t that technically be enough? Do I have to get a Yellow Pearl and Blue Pearl too? What do you guys think :\
Pearl couldn’t tell how long she had been sitting in the room. It was windowless, the only light coming from the hall, and silent, aside from the occasional footsteps outside that caused her to huddle closer to the wall. How long had it been?
The door creaked open and she buried her head in her knees.
“Pearl?” She held herself tighter and heard a sigh from the threshold, “Pearl, Rose asked me to escort you home. Please come with me.”
She looked up, wincing against the light that spilled into the room, finally making out Sapphire, whose expression was unreadable behind her fringe of bangs. It took her a moment to process what was being said; Rose was gone, Sapphire was here, she needed to go home. She shook her head and put it back down, turning it towards the wall so Sapphire could only see the back of her head.
“I should leave.”
“Yes, this isn’t the best place to stay, especially with night coming. These offices aren’t heated.”
“No, I mean I should leave. I shouldn’t have stayed with Rose, I’m only causing her problems.”
“I doubt she sees it that way.”
“She’s risking everything for me! A broken pearl with no future and no worth. Every day she’s seen with me is another day her reputation suffers.”
Sapphire sighed again, but stepped into the room and allowed the door to close behind her, the noise startling Pearl slightly, “You know I can see the future, right?”
“So believe me when I tell you that you are important. To Rose, to the planet, to planets we haven’t even see yet. You have value far beyond your comprehension- beyond mine, even, because I can’t yet see the details. But I’m not lying when I say that you are going to do great things.”
“Are you trying to make me feel better by lying to me?”
A chill crept up her body as Sapphire sat, close enough to touch. “Do you want to see?”
