idk this is scene is just really pretty

its interesting watching Wonder Woman reviews on youtube

every male reviewer I’ve watched has been like “yeah its a solid film. didn’t do anything spectacular.”

whereas every girl has been raving about it. it’s just interesting cause like…one dude was talking about how he didn’t really feel anything during the No Man’s Land scene and it just struck me bc like…obviously he didn’t feel shit because he’s seen something like it done a thousand times with male superheroes.

like its bizarre cause i was nearly in tears during that scene, watching the soldiers get a burst of courage and follow a powerful, strong WOMAN into battle. she inspired them. that shit has pretty much NEVER been done in film before and as a woman, I thought it was breathtaking and refreshing 2 see.

so yeah. idk if that made any sense i just thought it was interesting.

What really got me about this scene was the fact that Scott and Stiles were the only ones who got that extra special meaning to this part.

Scott wrote A.A. to represent Allison, his first love. And Stiles saw the D.H. that symbolized Derek, made him smile, revealed that he did indeed miss Derek.

Now, based off of canon, it would have only made sense for Scott to get this meaningful addition to his part in this scene since Allison was canonically his girlfriend and anchor so his actions were only natural. And if not just Scott alone, it should’ve been the entire pack or at least Scott, Lydia and Stiles who got something else in this part.

Yet, only Stiles and Scott were singled out. They were the only ones who felt something that ran deeper than writing their initials as a reminder that they were there in BHHS.

Scott, as stated before, put Allison’s initials which was a clear message that he never forgot about her, that she was still there with him, at least in his mind.

Stiles saw the D.H. and smiled at the thought of Derek, at the remembrance of him.

It really makes me wonder just how important Derek really is to Stiles. Like, does Derek mean as much to him or almost as much to him as Allison means to Scott?

This scene was able to broadcast a lot about the developed relationship between Stiles and Derek, but maybe there’s a possibility that there was a hint or deeper meaning that wasn’t noticed.

aaaand i’ve gone and gotten emotional about skam again.

the latest clip has just really…idk…like…how many shows will you see a scene with two lgbtq+ characters, one of which is mentally ill and the other having endured a pretty traumatic experience with parental abandonment (and a struggle with internalised homophobia), kissing happily and discussing their home, which they have just moved into together, having been in a loving, committed, healthy relationship for the last four months??

how many shows would take that dynamic, then have this couple’s friend walk in, a muslim, poc girl, who smiles happily at them, her friends; how many shows would have this girl be so incredibly strong, unapologetic, beautiful and vulnerable, all at once??  how many shows would have all three of these characters be complex, flawed, and so…realistic??? how many shows would give two of these characters their own seasons - have their stories be the main focus?? how many shows would take a gay teenage boy, a mentally ill bi/pan boy, a poc muslim girl, and have them be characters that minorities can relate to, see themselves in, rather than have them appear as flat, background characters, simply as a way of ticking the diversity box? how many????

idk where i was going this but i’m just really, really happy that i found skam

Cold (Yoongi x Reader)

- pt 1 -

words: 3,687

genre: angst

summary: he always had a cold personality and kept you at a distance

a/n: When you get to the 2nd hospital scene, just insert some random guy’s name idk I was too lazy to actually make one up. Btw I’ve never had a concussion and I don’t know much about hospitals yet, despite being a nursing major (pretty sure South Korea is different from America too). Disclaimer just in case I get some stuff incorrect. Let me know if you want a part two!!

Min Yoongi had always acted cold towards you.

The members tried to justify his behavior, that he was cold to everybody and on the inside, he cared for them all deeply. But it never really seemed that way to you.

You were just an outsider, anyway. That’s what he had called you when you had started to hang out with the boys a lot. An outsider. You tried not to think too much about it. All you did was ignore his presence once you realized he didn’t want to be friends with you.

You didn’t talk to him. He didn’t talk to you.

You sat against the fence of the basketball court, watching the members play basketball with one another. You were okay at basketball, but you weren’t amazing like the other boys were at it, so that’s why you were sat off to the side.

Yoongi had sat down as well, tired from playing so much. It was his favorite sport after all, so of course he went all out for it. You glanced over to him, noticing the far distance between the two of you. He was drinking a bottle of water, sweat dripping down the side of his face.

You looked away soon, trying not to get swayed by his attractiveness. You had a crush on him, but you knew that you had no chance by the way he treated you so coldly. Even the members themselves told you that he wasn’t ever going to date anyone. They said something about him not wanting to get intimate or share his emotions with someone else.

It was pretty obvious that he didn’t even like you anyway.

Q: Can we talk baby goats and how that completely blew up?  How everyone loves you holding baby goats in the show?

Travis Fimmel: Oh, did they really?  Oh, that’s funny.  I don’t know if I’ve held a goat.  I held a lamb one time, it was a lamb.  I dunno, I just walked past and I grabbed one.  I needed something to hold because the two girls sitting next to me weren’t very happy with me.  It got comforting that way.

jealous

based on this request :: can you pretty please write something about y/n and harry going to a party and harry getting all jealous when a dude flirts with y/n?? thank you !!

i took a weird spin on this (i think) but i hope it’s acceptable ;) not going to fit with everyone, i’m sure, but i tried!! gonna be honest, don’t really like this piece very much (just feel like i could’ve done better) but i didn’t want to keep this anon waiting any longer. hope you enjoy anyway :))

WARNINGS :: some *maybe* offensive song lyrics and a bit angsty?¿ idk man it’s pretty PG - PG-13ish

“Wha’ in the ever living fuck does that bloke think he’s doing?” Harry slurs a bit on his words, the scene before him making his jaw set and eyes narrow.

“Jesus, they’re just singing. Lighten up a bit, mate.”

And maybe it was the excessive amounts of drinks that were consumed that was making Harry a lot more open about his emotions but maybe he just really hates this boy that’s looking at her as if he has a chance.

here’s a quick Kai/Tucker for rare pair week. I guess they are a rare pair? kinda? idk I’ve never really seen any fan works about it even though it’s a little canon lmao… anyway I think they are pretty cute together because Kai spent so much time with Junior after Tucker left. and also that scene where Tucker is whining because Church won’t let him take the sniper rifle on his “date” with Kai…. I feel like their personalities just mesh really well!

“They’re reckless, untrustworthy,” Mark tells him with an edge to his voice, like he’s accusing all of humanity of an unforgivable crime. “Humans have no higher purpose but to search aimlessly for one, and in pursuit of that purpose, they create chaos.”

Jack holds up a hand.

“We’re in a fucking dressing room and I’m trying to go shopping,” he says as plainly as possible. “All I want to do is buy jeans, not subscribe to your issue of Misanthropy Weekly. Either tell me what your issue is in plain words or get out.”

Jack’s so done with his shit lmao.

Tbh this little scene made me snicker to myself for the better part of the day. This fic is pretty good ahh. The Googleplier/Jacksepticeye thing is pretty interesting, albeit pretty weird, BUT I LIKE WEIRD SO IT WORKS OUT.

I guess im a kinky motherfucker for enjoying it but lmao i dont really care the fic is really good, i like the character dynamics OKAY

i just kinda liked to imagine his eyes lighting up red a little while he was being intense idk.

Labor and Toil, Part 4. A Rowaelin Fanfiction.

Hey, sorry this so long! I really don’t know how I feel about the ending, but whatevs, you all will just have to tell me about it. Anyways, here it is, and I will probably do some form of an epilogue or the scene where everybody meets the new Princess, idk. Love you all!!

Aelin Galathynius was having a shitty day so far.
Even though, soon she supposed, it would be one of the happiest days of her life. But right now, it was pretty shitty.
With another long groan, she fell back against Rowan, her damn dress damp with sweat. Rowan carefully placed an icy cloth on her brow, murmuring soft words in her ear. She savored the feel of his hands running down her arms in careful, soothing motions. Aelin made herself open her eyes, and found Rowan’s eyes trained on her.

“What?” She bit out, harsher than she’d meant to.
Rowan pursed his lips, a frown tugging at the corners of his mouth. “How do you feel, Fireheart,” he said with Fae softness.
She wanted to snap at him, tell him that she felt like she was pushing their child out of her womb, but she leashed herself.
“I’m tired, sore, and I feel nauseous.” She said plainly, wriggling back against him, leaning her head against his shoulder.
Yrene made a noise from the end of the bed, and got up, getting a glass of water, which she offered to Aelin.  She took it gratefully and sipped from it slowly, the cool water calming her insides. Rowan lifted the cloth again and sent a jolt of ice through it before placing it on the back of her neck. Aelin sighed again, handing the glass back to Yrene, who took it and pressed her fingers into the hollow of her wrist, checking her pulse.
“You really are doing well, Aelin, and you are moving along quickly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the baby was here by tonight.”
Aelin nodded, but said nothing, as she could feel her gut begin to tighten and cramp. “Rowan—”
Her mate knew what she couldn’t say, and intertwined his hands with hers’.
“You can do this, Aelin, breathe,” he murmured in her ear. “You’re doing brilliantly, love.”
Aelin felt something shift, and she let out a scream, pushing as hard as her body would allow. Yrene moved to the end of the bed, bracing her hands on either of Aelin’s shins.
A sharp intake of breath met Aelin’s ears and panic rose in her chest.
Behind her, Rowan tensed. “What? What’s wrong” He snapped.
Yrene let out a chuckle, and raised her head. “Just keep pushing Aelin, you’re doing wonderfully.”
Aelin didn’t feel the least bit calmed, but did as she was told, digging her nails into Rowan’s hands as she pushed.
A savage groan escaped her and she felt her already hot face heat further, but she couldn’t bring herself to care as Yrene gave her a brilliant smile.
 “I see a baby, Aelin.”
Aelin’s words were caught in her throat as she threw back her head against Rowan’s shoulder, tears forming in her eyes as pain ripped through her.
“You really are almost there, Aelin. I just need a few more pushes, then you can see your baby,” Yrene murmured softly, gesturing for one of the fresh faced young women to come to stand next to her.
Rowan, she noticed, had gone silent, and she reached a hand back to grab his shoulder. He started a bit, then kissed her hair.
“I’m fine, Fireheart, don’t worry about me, just focus on the baby, you can do this.” He mumbled into her hair, but Aelin knew his nerves were getting the better of him, but she didn’t say anything. Because the same was going on inside of her, but that didn’t matter, because they’re baby was almost there and Aelin was ready to meet her child.
So she released Rowan’s shoulder, and inhaled deeply.
“Aelin, when I tell you to push, push. Understand?” Yrene stated, her voice steady and even. Aelin gave a weak nod, and slid her hand back into Rowan’s, the comfort of his scarred skin and callouses calming her.
But something felt different, something was—
“Push, Aelin.” Yrene demanded, and Aelin groaned as she pushed, trying not to focus on the insanely uncomfortable feeling. She panted heavily, then hissed as Rowan slid out from behind her.
He came to stand beside her, his eyes burning into hers.
“Keep pushing, Aelin. You are doing beautifully, Princess.”
Aelin gave a tortured scream as something inside her shifted.
No. No, something was wrong.
“Yrene,” she gasped, her fingers clutching the sheets.
“Something’s— Not right!” She screamed the last words, fisting a hand in her hair.
  Oh, gods! No, her baby…
Please! Please, she begged the gods, let my baby live, let me live!
Aelin couldn’t form a thought— she couldn’t breathe, to many things were happening. She couldn’t breathe!
Rowan made a small noise, meeting her eyes. “Aelin, you’re going to be fine, don’t think like that—”
But then Yrene was ushering him out of the room, growling just as loudly as Rowan when he began to argue.
“Rowan!” She shouted desperately, wanting to scream at Yrene for forcing him out of the room, but the healer was right.
Right now, the healers needed the room.
Yrene dashed back to the foot of the bed, running a cool cloth up her leg.
“Aelin, you— Breathe deeply, keep breathing. We are going to deliver this baby, so help me Silba. Sanetur, help the Queen with her breath, Mulier, I want you to help me with the baby, she is coming a bit awkwardly!”
Aelin vaguely sensed Yrene shouting something else, but she could only focus on the words swirling around in her head.
Stay, Aelin, don’t leave, not after all we’ve done, stay Aelin. You can do this, love. Keep breathing.
It was Rowan, through the bond.
“Rowan,” she whispered, fighting fiercely against the darkness that loomed.

Rowan paced as he heard shouting from the other room.
He fisted a hand in his hair, swallowing once, twice, three times. Just trying to calm himself.
Oh gods, never in his life had he felt so helpless, so utterly unable.
“Please,” he whispered to the empty room. “Let her live.”
Another guttural scream echoed in the room and Rowan nearly fell to his knees.
He plopped down on the couch, bowing his head.
“Please, let her and the child live,” he whispered. “Please, please.”
He didn’t even know who he was praying to, and he didn’t even care.
All Rowan Whitethorn wanted to hear was that his wife was all right.
For another ten gut wrenching minutes, Rowan sat there listening intently, hoping to glean some form information from the near silent room. But then—
A wail cut through the silence, then hoot of joy. Rowan felt his eyes fill with tears, and he scrambled off the couch, bolting towards the door. His child was on the other side of that door. Rowan began to push open the door, but was met with one of the young healers throwing it open. His breath caught in his throat at the sight of a squirming pink baby in the arms of Yrene.
“King Rowan, come in!” Yrene shouted, and he stepped to her side, eyes flicking from Aelin to the baby and back again about a million times.
Aelin was panting, tears streaming down her face as she stretched out a hand for her child.
“Rowan, our baby, let me hold her, please, Rowan.” She begged, tears falling down anew.
But Rowan’s attention caught on that word— her. He glanced back down at the babe, who was being checked by the healers.
It was indeed a little girl, her head covered in fine silver-white hair— like his own.
He stepped to Aelin’s side, grabbing her hands in his and pressing kisses to her brow.
“Let them check her, Fireheart, let them check, then we can see her.” He murmured, his voice cracking with emotion. The healers began to wipe the babe with a cool cloth, cleaning the child.

Rowan felt the world go silent as Yrene walked to him, holding out the child.
Tears fell down his face as the woman gently deposited the girl in his arms, murmuring something he couldn’t hear. The breath escaped him as the child reached out a clenched fist, gurgling nonsense.
“Rowan,” Aelin mumbled, reaching out her hands.
Rowan nodded distantly, turning slightly to place the girl in Aelin’s arms. She was so tiny, and her eyes— they were Aelin’s eyes.
Aelin sobbed as the babe reached out a fist to grasp the finger Aelin had begun to wiggle before the small child.

Through the haze of his love and utter amazement, Rowan sensed Yrene coaxing something to Aelin’s lips, which she drank without protest. The healer murmured something about being back in a little while, they would need to check Aelin in a few minutes. But the three women left them in near-silence, the only sounds the soft cooing of Aelin as she brushed her fingers along the child’s head.
Something inside Rowan broke at the fierce love and warmth flowing from Aelin, her eyes
Rowan sat down gently, trying not to jostle Aelin as he wriggled onto the bed. With a small grunt, she shifted her legs and leaned her head against Rowan’s shoulder. Rowan didn’t think he’d breathed in the past ten minutes.
“Name,” he rasped, a hand coming up on its own to settle on Aelin’s hand.
Aelin wet her lips, leaning down to kiss their child. “Evalin? I think it would fit her?” Aelin’s voice was tired, but not weak. No, it was as if the child had sent a jolt of energy through Aelin.
Rowan kissed his mate’s head softly, “Your mother’s?” He paused, running a careful finger across Evalin’s brow.
“A fitting name indeed.”
Aelin huffed a laugh, sniffing delicately as tears started falling again. “She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Aelin breathed.
All Rowan could do was nod.
Rowan Whitethorn Galathynius had been on the earth for over three hundred years, and in that moment, watching his wife kiss their baby girl’s forehead was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen.

Aelin Galathynius was tired, more so then she wanted to admit, but she stayed awake, talking quietly with Rowan as the healers did a final check on Evalin, and looked her over. They gave her a bitter tasting tea that was supposed to help any bleeding, and a mild pain tonic, soon after they left, murmuring their blessings as they went.
Aelin sighed in contentment as she held Evalin to her breast, sleep tugging at her eyes. Through her exhaustion, she felt Rowan shift a bit behind her.
“Rowan?” She mumbled, her tongue heavy in her mouth.
“Hmm?”
“I want a message sent to Lys and Aedion, and one to the Cadre. Tell them it’s a girl, and that we’ll see them tomorrow,” she paused thinking. Maybe it was selfish of her, but right now, she couldn’t bear the thought of anyone interrupting their little bubble of solitude. “Tell them not to worry.”
Rowan hummed and slid out from behind her, puffing the pillows around her before allowing her to lay back.
He looked her over, his eyes lingering on the child currently suckling at her breast. He leaned in, kissing her softly.
“You’re beautiful. Both of you.”
Aelin smiled tiredly against his soft lips, “I still feel as though I’ve swallowed Abraxos.”
Rowan brushed a hand through his hair, the same color as their daughter’s, “Maybe, but you are still the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, Aelin.”
Her cheeks flushed, but she rolled her eyes, shifting Evalin a bit. “Get the message sent, I don’t want them stampeding in here.”
Rowan chuckled, and crossed the room to jot down the note on a spare bit of parchment. Aelin watched as Rowan stepped out the door.
Aelin leaned down, kissing Evalin’s brow. The little girl gave a wet gurgle of laughter, and Aelin felt tears well in her eyes again.
She adjusted the blanket swaddling Eva, “How you doing, sweetie? Daddy will be back in a minute.”
Aelin smiled widely as Evalin went back to her breast, and suddenly Aelin felt the enormity of what she just done.
She just brought a child, a little girl into this world, and now she sat with her daughter and her husband in their chambers.
A trill of laughter escaped her lips and as Rowan stepped back in, he cocked a brow. “What?”
Aelin shook her head, “Nothing, come back to bed.”
Rowan gave a brisk nod, and walked to the other side of the bed, sliding in next to her. Aelin watched as Rowan smoothed a gentle hand over Evalin’s small head, his face soft and gentle, a new sort of grin tugging at his lips.
“You have made me the luckiest male to have ever walk this earth, Aelin.”
Aelin closed her eyes against the tears that threatened to spill, and leaned her head against Rowan’s shoulder.
 “I love you, Rowan.”
“I love you, too.”
Aelin felt Evalin pull away, gurgling a soft noise before nuzzling back against Aelin.
“I think that’s her way of saying ‘I love you’.” Rowan mumbled into her hair.
Aelin could only mumble her agreement before she nodded off.

Rowan watched as sleep seeped over Aelin, her head pressing into his shoulder. With a quiet laugh, he eased them both back into the pillows. He stayed up until Yrene came knocking, asking to check on Aelin once more.
The healer quickly did her work, then reminded Rowan he should get some sleep. Rowan nodded slowly, then looked down at Aelin and Eva.
“Does Aelin need to nurse tonight? Does Eva sleep with Aelin?” Rowan felt a blush creep up his neck. He should know this.
But Yrene gave him a gentle smile, “I’ll lay the babe down, you sleep. If Eva needs to nurse, which she will, she’ll fuss. Wake Aelin, she’ll know what to do.”
Rowan nodded, watching as Yrene gently scooped the sleeping girl out of Aelin’s arms. Evalin didn’t stir, but Aelin jerked awake.
“Is everything okay? Yrene?”
Rowan laid a hand on Aelin’s arm, “We’re putting Eva to bed, Aelin.”
His wife nodded, her eyes still flickering over to Eva.
Rowan tracked Yrene as she gently placed the still sleeping babe in the crib. “Aelin, if you feel any discomfort or feverish, contact me. I’ll be here in the morning, after you see me you can have visitors. None before.”
Aelin gave a weak nod and closed her eyes, wriggling back into the pillows. Yrene smiled at the now-dozing queen. “Make sure she drinks plenty of water, King, she’s lost lots of fluids. And she’ll need to eat a good meal in the morning, it’s been a while since she’s eaten.”
Rowan bit his lip, Aelin hadn’t eaten all day. He’d make sure she got something in the morning.
“And make sure Evalin sleeps on her back, nothing in the crib with her.” Yrene began towards the door.
“And Rowan,” she looked back at him, a threat in her eyes. He braced himself.
“I mean it about no visitors. Aelin needs rest, as does the baby. I’ve already had Aedion and Lysandra at my door needling me for details.”
Rowan let out a quiet laugh. He didn’t doubt that one bit.
“Good night, Rowan. Get some sleep, you’ll need it.”
Rowan bid the woman goodnight and began shucking off his clothes. In his undershorts, he slipped into bed, next to Aelin. Brushing a chaste kiss over her brow, he tucked the blankets around Aelin, and with half a thought he snuffed out all the candles in the room.
With his thought’s whirring in his mind, and love flowing from his heart, Rowan Galathynius closed his eyes, the image of Aelin holding their child in her scarred arms flickering in his mind.

Idk if I'm being whiny but it really pisses me off that haleb had that super sexual scene when they got back together and tonight both spoby and ezria got fairly explicit undressing/kissing parts of bodies and emison got really dark, pretty damn timid kisses? Is it just me seeing the double standard?

No matter how ~¡progressive!!!~ Freeform is, they will never live up to the expectations they hype up themselves up to be.

You’re not whiny. I was SUPER annoyed by how dark Emison’s scenes were. Idk if anyone has noticed but if you’re a gif maker/editor, you’ve definitely noticed how dark this season is in means of lighting. So take that and then put Emison outside and all you got is us squinting to see wtf going on. Especially when the Spoby, Haleb, and Ezria’s scenes were bright af.

But for a sex scene, it was pretty underwhelming because no sex was even implied like the other ships. With the others, riding and hip movements are typically implied to show sex is going on. With Emison, you would think at least a hand would be under the sheets. But apparently sex for Emison is just bare backs and kisses. Not even a side-boob. That night, Spencer and Aria are removing their tops (Emison’s “undressing” was still clothed) and pressing their bare bodies up against the guys while Alison is holding the sheet to her chest for their dear life lmaooo

But MK’s “HBO sex” is coming in 7x20!!! Whooohooo! George R.R. Martin is gonna be SHOOK. GoT who???????? (heavy sarcasm)

"it really pisses me off when people shit on Ian and Anissa's relationship, they're obviously happy"

Seriously…. Shut the fuck up. The ones acting all noble like you’re above the bitter feelings, When in reality y'all just think he’s gonna give you a gold fucking star for kissing his and his girlfriend’s ass.

You know nothing of thier relationship. So stop assuming shit constantly.

“Oh they’re so goals!!!”
BITCH HOW??

Ian’s done a pretty good job of keeping his private life private, she might answer some tweets but that’s the most you nosy obsessive motherfuckers are gonna get. We don’t know what happens behind the scenes with them.

“We have to be supportive of him!!”
So like his fucking videos, that’s seriously the only thing you can do. Idk bout y'all but I really doubt Ian’s reading all the tweets and comments worried about how some loser ass internet kids feel about his personal life.

And if you don’t like Anissa THATS OKAY TOO
You don’t have to like someone for the sole fact that they’re dating one of your favorite YouTubers!

If you like Anissa COOL MAN
Watch her stream! Follow her insta!

If you only like Anissa because she’s dating Ian, educate yourself. Go watch some of her shit, get a feel for her and then decide if you really like her.

This scene right here is full of good things and I think about it a lot.
Namely the way it point-blank defies everything we’ve built and come to believe about the Matsus.

Specifically,
- Older brothers tend to be less violent to their younger brothers.
- Totty hates physical violence and therefore opts to be sneaky and calculated.
- Kara adores all of his little brothers to the core and would never lay a hand on them.
- Totty and Kara cherish Jyushi in particular and are specifically kind to and protective of him, no brother is ever mean to Jyushi.
- Choro often protests when things like this happen because it’s just no way to act and as the responsible brother, he needs to say something.
- The general concern is that Oso is scary and everyone should be on edge whenever he decides to get violent.

Yet here we have these three very excitedly getting up to kick Jyushi’s ass. It’s pretty great lmao
I lose it because underneath all of the voices you can hear Kara (bless Nakamura-san’s wonderful voice) giggling really giddy, it’s amazing lmao He can’t wait to beat up his little Jyushimatsu~

It’s petty cool when you’re watching Cour 2 and their characters have solidified by now, they’ve all been totally established, and you come back to scenes like this where it all gets chucked out the window. Idk I just really like it, it’s pretty funny.
Rare Suiriku D-mouth, also.

ACOWAR Spinoffs

My thoughts on the three spinoffs:

NESTA AND CASSIAN - after acowar story.  The “are they mates?” dilemma.  But do I see that developing over a whole book that’s for sure 250+ pages? Nah. Unless there’s some big plot point, something to do with Nesta’s powers, her mental state after her father’s murder…idk.

Miryam and Drakon - pre-acotar…I see this as a possibility, but NOT.  Like, I feel like we already got a pretty big portion of their story and the only way I see it going deeper is in flashback conversations/mind scenes with other characters, maybe Nessian? For like some mating bind stuff?

Kallias and Viviane during Acotar - I really ship this one.  It would have such a different feel from acomaf, but great all the same.  We pretty much know the outcome, but just a deeper understanding of the winter court, which we barely got to see, and the killing of those younglings.  Maybe some Rhysand scenes added here.  And I’m hoping for the #vivianeforhighlady2017 campaign does its job. Apparently Sarah tends to listen to her fans about some things?

Elucien vs Elriel - post-acowar…I REALLY SEE THIS ONE HAPPENING GUYS.  These are the characters with the loosest ends.  Case in point: Lucien needs to find out who his real father is through some confrontation with his brother/father OR (listen to this) during a convo with Tamlin who explains how he got Beron to fight (maybe Tamlin already knows from that confrontation?!). Lucien needs to see the Day Court.  Elain needs to figure out if she’ll accept the mating bond or be like nah, I like Az better.  AND…there’s this whole Vassa/Swan Lake thing, and I really feel like Lucien and/or maybe Elain/Tamlin are involved?

So, let’s take bets:

Spinoff#1: Elucien vs Elriel with a sprinkle of Tamlin Redemption and Lucien Daddy Issues and Swan Lake shenanigans

Spinoff #2: Kallias and Viviane and the story behind #vivianeforhighlady2017 with a touch of “Feysand Darlings”

Spinoff #3: Nessian with a background of MiryamXDrakon

It's kinda upsetting to see Shikako not really wanting to be around/bothering to bond that much with her little brother. I honestly just want to see a scene where like he's crying and literally wont shut up until he's in Shikako's arms. You know, he just wants that quality big sis time. 'N idk he does some cute baby shit and like giggles and touches her face idk, I just got feels all of a sudden smh.

I mean, personally I’m just not really enthused by babies. You coo for a few minutes, say they’re cute and hand them off to someone who’s more interested in holding them. It’s pretty fair to say that they don’t do a lot for the first couple of months (if not years), so there’s also not that many interactions that are interesting enough to write about. I get a lot of flack for DOS being long and never progressing, so I am actively trying to move the story along and skim daily life bits.

I was wondering how blue felt about this too!! I’m a little bit worried…I wonder who’s piloting blue in the meantime?

anyway, with this whole “lance piloting the red lion” business (assuming he really is piloting the red lion and that red interior wasnt just the result or some critical error inside of blue or whatever) we can pretty much assume we’re gonna get some meaningful keith & lance scenes out of it right? please? …please?

Other than Danny and Colleen what were things you really liked about Iron Fist?

Ah yes an ask that is going to force me to get my thoughts together. So here we go, and not in any particular order of how much I liked it. Probably won’t cover everything because I’ve only watched it once and it’s sort of a blur xD I’ll cover some main points though.

• this is gonna sound weird, but the colors. This show was a lot brighter/more vivid than the other shows (particularly dd/jj) and I just really love how they’ve used that in these shows because this really matches the show and idk I just love it

• Danny. Which I mean is obvious, but. It was just really refreshing to have a character who was more childlike and innocent and naive, who has a brighter look on things compared to the others, which I think was really needed. Danny was kind of an idiot sometimes and way too trusting but I really enjoyed watching him change from episode 1 to episode 13

• on a related note, I’m always so fascinated by the moral side of things, the arguments, the way people try to justify things and idk dude I think they did it really well here. Watching Danny, particularly as well struggle between thinking that he has to fulfill his duty as the Iron Fist but also really not wanting to be that??? Not the way he was taught, anyway, was great. And even just smaller things, like Colleen deciding to not kill Bakuto, even tho yeah in the moment she probably could have. I am v proud of her. And also on this note, Claire and that scene in the plane where she is just like “yeah you can never justify killing”. Loved that scene.

• finally getting more information about the Hand. Because in Daredevil s2, we honestly did not get a ton of information and in this show we got much more and saw a lot more of it and the different parts/groups of it and that was nice that it’s not just being left as some shadowy group that no one knows stuff about.

• might get yelled at for this, but the fight scenes?? I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about how they were unrealistic but guys, it’s a show about a character who has powers that make his fist light up. I think they get a little leniency here. I personally really enjoyed them.

• THE SOUNDTRACK. Cannot say enough good things about the soundtrack omg. I love how it’s vaguely like the daredevil ones but sort mashed with like. The Tron soundtrack I guess? But also with its own unique elements and almost a trippy quality sometimes and just guys I love this soundtrack. My favorite of all of them, now.

• The fact that, while I was not particularly fond of the Meachums, I couldn’t make myself hate them. Because that’s a problem I run into where the “villains” are always just not layered enough and just easy to hate. But while I didn’t love them, they’re absolutely fascinating. Their actions, their justifications, the way they work and think. I’m going to do a lot of analyzing when I watch the show again because I’m really impressed with them and how they were written.

• Colleen. Literally everything about her, but like. It wasn’t the Colleen I expected? Yeah she was tough and a colder (especially towards the beginning), but I really did not expect the sweeter and a lil softer Colleen that we got in the show. And I have exactly no complaints about it. Again, like with Danny, it was refreshing. I mean, she’s got issues but she’s not like a lot of the other female characters we’ve gotten so far in that she is kinder and softer and genuinely a good person at heart (again, she has issues, but) and I really loved that.

• this is kind of obvious, but Claire. She was a gem in this honestly. Probably my favorite appearance of her so far, since she’s been so developed now. She was hilarious but also knocked some sense into my stupid children. Also, Claire learning to fight gives me life okay.

• kind of said this earlier but want to say it again but just. How conflicted Danny is. How he’s torn between these two sides of himself, and choosing between what he was raised and taught to do and what he’s starting to believe is the actual right thing. and how he does not handle this super well, and it’s not easy for him. They wrote this really well in that he was honestly just a wreck. It got ugly sometimes. It wasn’t handled gracefully, it was messy and emotional and difficult and Danny could not have handled it on his own without Colleen and Claire. I really enjoy when they don’t try and force a character like this to deal with it and figure it out alone and I’m glad Claire was there to knock sense into him.

• Tiny note but like, all the references to characters. Daredevil, a couple times. Jessica. They even mentioned Karen and it was beautiful.

• Danny, Colleen, and Claire: the actual team up we all needed in life. Bless. All of their scenes together were great, and having Claire there to balance out the other two was wonderful. Would watch an entire show of these three working together, not gonna lie.

• Going sort of back up to what I said about the Meachums, I love that the people fighting against Danny in the show wasn’t just some creepy guy who out of the blue decided he had a problem with Danny. It was Harold, it was Ward and Joy, people he grew up with. It was Gao, it was Bakuto, it was even Davos and Colleen for a bit. Mostly people he trusted. Which made it more painful but idk I enjoyed it.

• How they handled all the stuff with Colleen. Personally think they did that well. And I’m so, so glad that they didn’t drag it out longer than necessary. It felt, pacing wise, like it worked really well. It didn’t drag it out, but it wasn’t too fast. The rain scene is always going to make me cry.

Nothing else directly comes to mind right now because I kind of just got up and my brain isn’t awake, but. To sum it up it’s a show I thoroughly enjoyed with characters that hit me pretty personally sometimes, so that was fun. Personally, I think it’s the best show I’ve seen since Daredevil, which is my favorite show. I need to watch iron fist a couple more times, but I’m positive I enjoyed it more than JJ/LC.

I just. Really love this show, guys.

Is he really gone?

Honestly this is probably just me being strictly in denial, but anyone else feel like Jasper’s death scene didn’t feel like an end to his story? I mean we literally didn’t get to see him “dead” for more than 2 seconds before Monty was off to get Harper? He’s a main freaking character and idk it’s pretty standard writing procedure to give recurring characters a true final episode that revolves around them or at least leaves the audience with no doubt that they could never come back (i.e. Finn centric episode ending with him being stabbed, Lincoln shot in the head in a long emotional ending to an episode, Lexa long drawn out death by gun shot with dialogue to say goodbye) But with Jasper we never even saw Monty check for a heartbeat. So I don’t know is it too wishful to think he could still be alive? The whole final scene was maybe a total of 4 minutes in the middle of an episode cutting to other story lines. That’s not only uncharacteristic of the 100 when they kill off characters, but television shows in general. So I’m not convinced Jasper Jordan is gone forever…
