Remus: How does James stay so fit with all those chips he’s been eating?

Sirius: …

Sirius: Yeah it’s probably all the Quidditch

“Cas?”

There was no answer, though Dean didn’t expect there to be. Maybe he hoped for it, but he knew it wouldn’t come.

His hands trembled as he reached out and cupped Cas’s cheek. He was cold, almost like ice, and Dean almost pulled his hand away, but he couldn’t. A tear fell down onto his face and only then did Dean realized he was crying.

“Cas,” he whispered, “Come on, man.”

Dean knew Cas wasn’t there anymore. That this wasn’t some wound he could heal over time, but he hoped someone would hear him. No one knew where angels went when they died, so there was a part of Dean that hoped, just maybe, Cas could hear him.

“You gotta come back.” he said, and he hated that his voice cracked, he felt weak and he the last thing he wanted was to sound like it, “Come back. Fight.”

The dumbass wasn’t even supposed to go after Lucifer. He was supposed to stay in this universe and he was supposed to stay safe. He was supposed to live.

“Come back.”

Cas was supposed to live. He was supposed to live and help them take care of this Nephilim bullshit. He was supposed to be here with him and Sam, fighting the good fight. He was supposed to be here with him.

“Come back to me.”

Dean wasn’t sure when it happened, but when he opened his eyes, Cas was in his arms, and he was cradling his upper body on his lap. His thumb was stroking Cas’s sharp cheekbone and there were more tears on his face.

“You’re an idiot.” he said, but there was no malice in his tone, there couldn’t be, “What am I supposed to do now, huh?”

His entire body ached from his head to his toes, but the ache in his heart was the greatest. He was tired of losing the people he loved, and he was tired of feeling like this.

He grit his teeth and closed his eyes, “I didn’t get to tell you I-”

When Cas had said it, back when he was dying, Dean couldn’t think. The only thing going through his mind then was that his best friend and…

“You scare me, man.” Dean said, “And now you’re gone and I miss being scared.”

There was no way to explain him and Cas. They were enemies, war buddies, friends, enemies again, best friends, and now… They were Dean and Cas. But Dean knew why it hurt so bad, why it felt like his hear had been ripped out and stomped on for thousands of years.

“Cause I love you too, Cas.”

LET ME EXPLAIN THIS

So first I was in the mood to doodle Medic with the baby baboon, cause, y’know, it’s cute. And then I thought it’d be funny to put Medic in motherly situations. AND then I thought “Imagine Medic all sad cause Heavy doesn’t wanna help him raise the baby lol.”

Then it just got weird with BLU Spy’s bold declaration of love. How would Heavy react!?  And Progressively lazy. Also it’s midnight I should stop drawing now. This escalated. Goodnight.

I did what you told me to. I kept running, I kept moving forward, because I knew that if I stopped to look back, then I would remember that you weren’t behind me anymore. And it’s been so hard. And when Cisco said that he could bring you back, you know, I didn’t know what to think. What if it didn’t work? What if you were dead? I mean, I thought it would be like losing you all over again. I never imagined this, though. I don’t know what I would do if this is all that’s left of you, if this is all that’s left of the amazing man that I know and love.
