idealistic

People I want to surround myself with:

bohemians, intellectuals, artists, idealists, philosophers, librarians, humanists, antiquarians, bibliophilist, cinephile, pacifists, dreamers, dancers, existentialists, cultivated persons, travellers, Parisians, introverts, vintage lovers, humanitarians, visionaries, profound thinkers etc.

People aren’t always what you want them to be. Sometimes they disappoint you or let you down, but you have to give them a chance first. You can’t just meet someone and expect them to be everything you’re looking for and then be angry when they’re not every hope and aspiration you projected onto them. It’s foolish to believe that someone will be what you imagine them to be. And sometimes, when you give them a chance, they turn out to be better than you imagined. Different, but better.

I like to think about every possible outcome in every situation. Good, bad, everything in between. It normally leads to me being very indecisive. I think it has to do with my idealistic quality though. I like to not only think about what decision to make but what outcomes that decision will entail. My mind wanders into the domino effect. Then I sometimes end up lost in thought. Eventually, I’ll make a decision, just not as quickly as others usually want me to.
