She leads him into a room
just off the hallway, filled with books and folders and scripts. There’s even
the infamous Big Black Book of Blackmail; a family heirloom passed down throughout
the generations. It doesn’t follow a direct line, nor does gender matter. It just
gets passed to the next person who’s believed to be capable of wielding it for
the good of the Black Family.
His aunt sits herself down in
the grand armchair, summoning a quill to twirl through her fingers.
“So, two new identities-”
“One,” Regulus corrects,
meeting the sceptical gaze of his elder, ignoring the gentle lift of her
“Not just a secret lover then, a scorned secret lover too.”
(Hansy. Jily lives AU) (because i felt that James might actually understood Pansy in some way Harry might never exactly understand … maybe?)
Pansy watched on as Harry and Draco flew in the air, chasing over the snitch. Harry’s usually messy hair was even more unruly than usual (sounds an impossible feat, but turned out wasn’t) as he soared. Sometimes she wondered how had they ended up together, when he was clearly so much a better person than her. She’d been awful towards he and his friends at Hogwarts, and it’s an wonder he decided to forgive her.
Sometimes she wondered if she would ever deserve him. She wondered if she would ever be a good enough person. Sure, he forgave her, but Harry was the kind of guy to forgive everyone. That’s just who he was by nature.
A man sat down beside her and she turned, startled. “Mr. Potter.”
“He’s flying as amazing as always, isn’t he?“ James Potter beamed proudly at the sight of his son.
Pansy smiled softly, “Yeah.” Honestly, Pansy wasn’t ever really sure how her boyfriend’s father thought of her. Rumor had it that he wasn’t too fond of the Slytherins, And Pansy was sure he’d heard of all the enmity between Harry and his friends and she and her friends back during school. Harry, always the saint that he was, might’ve forgiven her, but what’s to say his father would think the same?
James looked and her with a frown, and seemed to see her thoughts – Pansy wondered if she’d really looked that nervous. Then he said, in a surprisingly gentle voice, “You’re not the only person to ever done stupid things at fifteen. If you’re willing to change, who you were then doesn’t determine who you’ll become. Do you know Harry’s mother used to hate me and think I’m the biggest bully ever?” He chuckled slightly.
She blinked, surprised. She couldn’t ever imagine that, looking at how in love they were right now.
“You don’t have to be the person you’d been when you were younger. And I see now that you’ve changed.” He paused, and smirked slightly. “Let me tell you a story.”
So, (stirs glass of iced tea and takes a sip) tell me about your OCs…
Do you have any Transformers OCs, bot or otherwise? If so, who are they and what continuity do they fit into? What faction or sub-faction do they belong to? Do you ship them with anyone? What’s their alt mode? Are they an Earth lover or do they prefer to stay on Cybertron?
Feel free to reblog or send in an ask with all your juicy details. Also, if you’ve drawn any fanart of your OC, I would totally love it see it! :D
So for some reason Fuu and Mugen end up travelling together and inadvertently become the people’s heroes when they go head to head with the corrupt Shogunate and its henchmen. And Fuu discovers unlike other drunk men who turn into violent pigs once the sake hits, Mugen oddly becomes gentler when inebriated, though still a pig. ‘Gentler’ of course should be taken with a grain of salt.
stop me. stop me now.
*** yeuch noticed I forgot to draw his tattoos on. I’ll get to it when I can.
Sometimes I like to imagine that the mages actually have tomes that work ala To.m Rid.dle’s diary where like, you can write in one and it will show up on the other, and so some will be given to their most trusted people to talk that way while in separate tents or… countries.
This is the first time I’ve ever had Filipino pop on my phone and
I’m kinda into it? Maybe just because it’s sung by bby Lea Salonga, maybe because the sound reminds me a little bit of growing up and listening to my parents and their friends sing in Tagalog during karaoke parties
I know people are questioning the fact that their long break is nearly over and they haven’t CO. I have always been team optimism and still am, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen in the next week or so. It still could, but then again it might not and that is okay. I can see all of the incredibly positive changes that have taken place and infer from them that things are still progressing in that direction and that they ultimately want the freedom to live life being true to themselves to be the end result of this process. Despite that, there are too many factors to really figure out when so I’m just enjoying the positive and assuming from it that they are working towards an eventual CO.
Here’s the unpopular part…Having said the above, I’ve never thought that a coming out would necessarily have to happen during a break from tour. I get why people think it makes sense, but I could also see it happening during tour. Something super casual, likely started on social media. Confirmed by a rep but not addressed specifically by H/L. They could continue performing, business as usual, allowing people to accept the news and adjust to a new reality before addressing it head on. Continuing to perform and having people focused on the tour and the music rather than their personal lives would be a big enough distraction that they would also have a chance to adjust (because it will be stressful for them–good things can cause stress as well–getting married and buying a home are two positive things listed in the top largest stressful events in life).
So, if there was a CO during tour, they would be able to let the dust settle and then once the tour ended, they could start the talk show circuit allowing it to serve dual purposes–promo for their new album and finally being able to address their new public relationship status. By delaying the interview questions about it, they could potentially avoid some of the negative knee jerk reactions, because as I said, people would have had time to let it sink in. Addressing it after their tour would actually help with a re-brand and promo for a new album which many have alluded towards being important moving forward. By withholding the interviews until afterward, they would have held onto the ‘marketability’ to a certain extent. Exclusive interviews and articles would still garner a tremendous amount of attention to both them as well as the band.
There are so many ways that things could happen really and this is just one random thought. At the end of the day, it will be the way that they want it to be and that is the most important thing. It’s obvious (to me at least) that they’re getting there and as long as they continue to look happy and at peace with one another and in general, that is enough to keep a smile on my face as well.
