Luke and I have had our ups and downs over the years, but through it all, his relationship with my daughter, Rory, has never changed. He’s always been there for her no matter what. He was there to celebrate her birthdays. He was there cheering her on at her high school graduation. Luke has been a sort of father figure in my daughter’s life.
Endearingly called “the Gracious Queen” by her subjects, one clear demonstration of the English people’s love for her can be recalled: while progressing over a carpet of woolen cloth that watching crowds were permitted afterward to take as a souvenir, a riot ensued and some died in the ordeal, all to obtain a piece of the cloth the Queen had tread on.
After her premature death, the Tower – where she had died – ceased almost entirely to be used as a royal residence. Her family and subjects genuinely grieved her loss.
I genuinely feel bad for all the boys on this site and there’s not nearly enough positivity posts so to all my male followers I just wanna say:
You are not ugly, gross, selfish, rude, sexist or
inherently a bad person just because of your gender. Your gender alone doesn’t necessarily mean that you get everything handed to you, that your feelings aren’t valid or that you don’t face any problems. Whether you’re cis, trans, gay, straight, bi, ace or anything in between, you matter and you are always worthy of love and acceptance, and please don’t believe anyone who tries to tell you that you’re not. ♡
6 months ago Client: “So, this is a big deal to us.” Me: “Got it. Big deal.” Superiors: “It’s fine; it’s not that big a deal.” Me: “No, it’s a big deal.” Superiors: “Nah.” Me: “Listen here you little shits.” Superiors: “Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah…”
*months of yelling about how this is a big deal and we should treat it seriously* *months of being mostly ignored*
Today Client: “So, this thing that’s a big deal, and y’all haven’t been treating it as such… you fuck it up this month, and you’re all suspended, no pay.” Superiors: “OH SHIT!” Me: “WHAT DID I FUCKING TELL YOU!?”
