I'm gonna miss ur old setup but r u gonna try the same one in ur New house or are you gonma try something New?
As much as I love it too and I know people will freakout over change and make too big a deal out of it, I think a change is needed. Every now and then it’s good to change things up and have a fresh start.
My commentary and type of videos will be identical but a fresh environment can do absolute wonders for your mental health
my honest opinion? it takes a lot of courage for an artist or a band to make something that is THIS different than their previous stuff, and I’m really proud of Fall Out Boy for trying something new and way stoked to see what the rest of the album and this new era are gonna be like. change is good, and I’m glad they’re not just stuck a rut where all their music sounds the same. but that’s just my opinion.
New idea for Pride variant things. Fancy spiral lollipops! It’s a more complicated coloring pattern than my other designs, so I just did an ace lollipop for now. If anyone really wants to see another flag done, then ask & I’ll do it for you when I can.
If you’re trying to do a parody song for something, look at the syllable structure of the original and match it with your new parodic message. Syllables can be hard for some people (there are syllable/stress dictionaries! Google it, that might help) but trust me if it fits it’s so so good and makes a good parody perfect.
Also less crucial I’d say is following the rhyme pattern of the original, if there is one (mine/shine could be replaced with tour/your for example, the rhyme can change as long as the pattern remains)
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you. Like your art is amazing, but you are just as amazing. Like: when I was a new follower, I sent you a question that didn't actually make sense. But you answered anyway. Or how: you are invested in fandoms that are not always know for their pleasant behavior, but you focus on the things that make those things great. It makes it so much easier to simply enjoy something when you realize there's someone beside you truly enjoying just as much as you. TY
Describe Misha. (I'm trying to describe Misha to my bro… but I'm bad with words. He makes fun of me for liking him so much, so can you help me out?)
It is hard to describe Misha, because Misha is a surprise.
Every moment of every day, he’s up to something new; but he enjoys that. He
enjoys the shock, the newness—the adventure, and he enjoys bringing that out in
other people. He’s that one crazy friend who always gets you to break the
rules, and even though it scares the shit out of you, you always feel more
alive when everything is said and done. Misha isn’t inherently “good” even with
all the charity work that he does. He likes to tease people; he makes mistakes
and will cuss up a storm. He’s lewd and has no problem with making everyone
around him blush with the dirty, dirty things he’ll say … but you find that you’re
grateful for all these “imperfections” because they all make him human. They
make him approachable. They make him relatable;
and that I think is what makes us
love Misha the most.
He is like us …
he’s goofy and nerdy and messes things up over and over again. He’s a giant
child in an adult body. He opens his mouth and lets his brains fall out onto
the floor, and sometimes it looks like modern art, and other times it looks
like a homicide—but he keeps moving forward no matter the mess he left behind
him, because he knows the ultimate
goal is just to keep living. Misha keeps dreaming.
He’s relatable, yes … and that
then makes us focus on him; and when we do, we see all the effort he puts into
each and every day. He is always fighting, always trying to better the world,
always wanting to make people smile, whether it’s with a kind act or a dirty
joke. He does have his moments of complete, mature, adult responsibility and
those inspire us too. He is a beacon to all of us who are struggling just to
get by—shining through the fog and saying “Hey, people like us … we can be happy.” Yes, the man brings smiles to faces, but he also
teaches people how to keep them there. He shows people how tofind happiness within themselves; and that’s a talent that not enough people posses.
I think if you tell your brother that, then he just might begin to see why you love Misha so much.
Niall never does what is expected. He strives to be different. He’s an innovator. He doesn’t want to sound like everyone else. Sometimes that will make a person less popular. Sometimes it changes the world. At least he’s taking chances and not following the crowd. Radio needs diversity. I’m happy I’m a fan of someone that’s not afraid to try something new. We should all take notes.
How long how have you've been drawing? It seems like a while, and also..Is it ok if you can do tutorials? For people who practice doing anime, you seem like a expert for art,I want to be prepared for my middle school days cause I'm going to art school, its ok but I want to improve a little bit more anime style cause I haven't been able to keep sides even, yea digital art but when drawing a head that goes forward the other side cannot be the same, but its ok, I think I'm asking too much, sorry..
Don’t worry if it’s a long question ^^
Well, I’ve been drawing since I was three years old, but being honest, I don’t consider myself enough a good artist for doing tutorials. Since I learned on my own it’s kinda hard to me trying to explain to others how to draw or animate something, both in Spanish and English. My ways to learn are so weird and less practical to people that are starting to understand something new, and probably other artist can explain it better and easier than I.
The only way I can almost make a tutorial is while I’m streaming, I’m so bad at using words u.u
yeah hey, hi. One of those people that refer to some shithead abusive male char 'you wretched disaster' and get abused on this site because I write them, but no one bothers to see me trying to make it an AU and try to write them attempting to right their wrongs and be a better person. No, they see the baddie and I'm attacked, I'm trying though because its different and I wanna change outcomes for the better. Would be nice not being lumped into one cata because we try something new for them.
I really don’t get why so many people feel attacked by basic fandom observations. We got at least 5 messages exactly like this with slightly different wording and it’s really funny to me. I’m not saying stop doing it or you’re a terrible awful person, I’m just of the opinion that keeping these things in mind via humor is a good way of realizing where you stand exactly (in the majority) and that while you can gush about your problematic fave for a variety of reasons, you should keep in mind that this stuff makes others (the minority) uncomfortable or puts them in harm’s way, and that they often get the short end of the stick for speaking up about it. Compromises can be achieved on behalf of those who favor “bad” characters so as to make everything as comfortable as possible for everyone. This is especially important in fandoms where a lot of kids take part.
By the way, this is also a note to myself, because I find darker characters compelling very easily. Publishing that previous anon was as much checking myself for this sort of behavior as it was reminding everyone else of it.
If you don’t wanna be “lumped in” with the Real Fandom Baddies, then don’t be. If you know you’re not among the people who just don’t care, and you really try to make things right as you say, then you have no reason to feel threatened by that post. Do your thing. Be critical. No one can stop you anyway. Godspeed.
Hi PBG, I just wanted to send you a quick thanks for being so cheerful and positive in your youtube videos. Back in high school I had a rough time and dealt with depression and it took a lot to make me smile. But your videos were always something to look forward to and never failed to put a smile on my face. Now I'm halfway through uni, loving life and still loving all your new videos. I guess I just wanna say thanks for having given me something to look forward to, it made all the difference!
Really glad to hear that! Thanks so much for watching them.
When I was going through some tough points in college (didn’t feel I was in the right place, was going through a confusing ideological/world view transition, felt like I was wasting money on tuition, didn’t have enough social interaction because I was cooped up trying to make my whole YT/online video dream thing work) I turned to a lot of online videos/content to cheer me up. AVGN was a really big one for me. Always loved that he put a lot of time into each video and it was re-watchable. I really looked up to him/wanted to make something similar. Something that could make people feel the way I did when I watched his stuff.
So to hear you and others say things like this, trust me, the pleasure is all mine. =)
