“Do you think it will be a boy or girl?” Namjoon mutters, he sat beside you in a hospital chair as you were laying in the bed. You were in between contractions. You thought of this now since you would be having the baby in a matter of hours. You already had a two-year-old son, he was causing enough trouble as it was. Running around and screaming constantly making a mess with his toys, he was a handful but you wouldn’t change it.

“It would be nice to have a girl. So I’m not outnumbered anymore.” You smile at him. “If we have another boy, we’ll just have to keep trying for a girl.” You liked the idea of having a girl more than having a boy.

“Who is paying for all of their diapers?” Namjoon replies, a baby did cost a lot the two of you knew that.

“You because you write and produce amazing songs for the group and others. I know you and Yoongi compete for how much money you get.” You’d also seen how much was in Namjoon’s bank account, he had more than enough to send two children to university. You could own holiday homes in a couple of countries if you wanted to.

“Well, he’s winning at the minute since you’re having a baby. His wife isn’t even pregnant.” Namjoon was expecting him to have another kid so he could overtake him again, but from the looks of it, that wasn’t going to happen. They were happy with having just a daughter for the minute.

“Really.” You mutter… you may of may not known something. You had promised not to say anything and you weren’t planning to.

“You know something.” Namjoon looks up at you with suspicion.

“I don’t.” You reply. As you did you were hit with another contraction, you closed your eyes tightly. “Contraction.” You mutter. Namjoon got up immediately grabbing your hand squeezing it tightly helping you to breathe as it continued to hurt. You didn’t like childbirth you had decided that firmly with your first child.

“They’re getting closer together, it’ll probably be time to push soon.” Namjoon didn’t exactly want to tell you that, you didn’t like pushing. You had to give everything you had and it can either be quick or it can last for hours.

“Don’t tell me that.” You breathe through the contraction, inhaling and exhaling just like the book said. You were harsh on the book last time, which you had decided to give it another go since Namjoon had been here all day with you. A doctor strolled in with a nurse by her side, she walked over to a machine to check something you weren’t paying much attention, you were trying to pass this contraction.

“The contractions are causing strain on the baby, if the heartbeat doesn’t increase in a couple of minutes you’ll have to have an emergency c-section.” What did that mean? This baby was also having trouble with their heart, you sighed a little but nodded at the doctor as the contraction wore off.

“They have a 50% chance of having the heart problem, this just shows that they do.” You sigh a little, but you also noticed Namjoon sighing at his own genetics that he was passing down his own problems to his kids. Namjoon pulled you in a little closer to him, he pressed a kiss down onto your head before he muttered.

“I’m sorry.”

“All that matters now is they turn out healthy, S/N did. I have hopes this one will too.” You smile positively, last time you had no idea if this happened because the birth was rushed. You had Namjoon’s mother at your side for most of it, plus when you had arrived at the hospital you were almost at 10 cm.

The two of you stayed quiet in the next few minutes listening to the monitor even you could hear the heart rate decreasing it meant you had to have an emergency c-section. The doctor confirmed it for you when they came in they also brought in the surgeon. Namjoon had left you temporarily while he changed into appropriate clothing for the procedure.

“When the baby is pulled out, we’ll have to check the heart before they are handed over to you.” You nodded, the doctors had already started when Namjoon joined your side. His face was covered by a medical mask just like the rest of them.

In the next few moments, you couldn’t feel anything as the doctors pierced your skin to pulling the baby out, “It’s a girl.” your eyes look to meet Namjoon’s as you could see the smile through his mask. Your eyes were already filling with tears and you hadn’t even met her yet. The crying was delayed by a few seconds but soon kicked in, as you could see vaguely, doctors surrounding her.

“Heart rate is back up. Sorry little one,” You heard a nurse mutter seeing they were taking some of her blood, Namjoon was also there watching with a massive grin on his face. You wanted to go over there, to meet her. Tears rolled down the side of your face you sniffled a little.

Next thing you knew was the nurse was approaching you holding your baby girl wrapped up in a blanket, “Here is your baby girl, congratulations.” The nurse placed your baby beside you, you managed to touch her softly with your fingertips. She was so beautiful as her eyes were now open looking directly at you. Namjoon appeared in your sight as well, he smiled at you with his eyes full of warmth.

“I’m proud of you.” He whispers before he leans in to kiss the two of you gently on the forehead.

One year ago I woke up on top of my best friend, my boyfriend, dead from an overdose. Today I have one year sober. It's a bitter sweet poem I struggle to write. But it may be an interesting prompt for an outsider who appreciates unconventional personal growth.

I’m so sorry you had to experience something like that. Losing someone is always more than painful and I can’t even imagine how you felt… I just want to say that even though I don't know who you are I'm very proud of you and the fact that you are sober for so long. I hope that everyone who is out there and dealing with addictions will find strength in them self to overcome it.

Don't give up no matter what, you came down a long path of recovery and I strongly believe that wherever he is now he is also looking down at you with pride.

Doodle of the evening while listening to White Lies. Spideypool is my biggest weakness.
I guess there was a specific story on my mind while I was drawing that kiss, but I’ll let you imagine whatever you think it was. Because otherwise, where is the fun? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Imagine holding a small Christmas party for Seventeen after their concert where you guys exchanged presents and had an overall great time.

BONUS: After receiving Woozi’s present, you opened it only to realize that he got you something you’ve been wanting for a while now. You looked at him in disbelieve because you didn’t thought he’ll remember about it before pulling him into a hug to show your gratitude.

BTS are really just rising and gaining that recognition at the speed of light and boi i am proud as hell even though in the great scheme of ARMYhood i’ve only been here for like half of second

but the boys are seriously getting so many opportunities and i’m so damn proud like wow can you imagine breaking down barriers for your country and your musical genre with your six best friends imma frickin cry
