What depression is really like:

•caring about your grades but not enough to do anything about them

•thinking about suicide more than graduating

•considering suicide whenever any problem arises

•tired

•no motivation

•no energy

•walking is so hard

•sometimes even talking is too much work because you’re so god damn tired

•laying in bed for hours because you’re too tired to move

•feeling nothing but sometimes everything

•knowing you’re not alone but still feeling alone

•that constant mindset of, “Who cares? I wont be around much longer anyways.”

•wishing to be left alone, while also wishing for people to stay

•never believing you’re good enough

•always putting yourself down

•never planning to far ahead in time

•fake smiles, fake laughs

•long showers because that’s you’re little moment of escape

They worked for every ounce of that award and the fame they have. they gave up everything, Yoongi suffered intense depression and his family told him they didn’t support him, he had to abandon them, be so poor he could barely eat to finally break through and show his talent to the world. Jungkook gave up his childhood for this, he was just a little kid with an amazing voice, he was basically raised by 6 other kids who didn’t even know what they were doing themselves. Jimin suffered from low self confidence, he was just a kid himself. Jin was the oldest, he had to take care of a bunch of kids, rap monster literally worked through so much hardship to lead him and his friends to greatness. Hoseok literally suffered constant panic attacks and anxiety issues, he was definitely not the sunshine we see now, he was depressed and didn’t even know if he’d make it. Taehyung was just a small kid coming from his grandmothers strawberry farm. he had no money so his grandmother bought him a fancy jacket so the boys in seoul wouldn’t judge him. and now they’re here, a billboard music award under their belts and hundreds of millions of fans. they deserve every ounce of it, if not more.

I’d like to point out that the nicest touch to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is that, he’s scared. And because of his age, huge scale situations scare him. He legitimately gets scared and nervous doing some things and voices out “I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die.” He knows he’s gonna die but he does it anyway because if he doesn’t do anything, other people will and it’s going to be his fault.

There’s this one scene that made me tear up because you get to truly realize that Peter Parker is just a kid. Tom Holland’s acting was so good. He’s literally the best Spider-Man.

But honestly, I just wanna go home.
I miss rain, and splashing in puddles
.

So once upon a time, @cookiecreation opened up commissions and I sprinted out of the bar, very drunk, to request a slot. I sent an email saying that I wanted “Lance splashing in a puddle” because 1) I couldn’t type much else, honestly, and 2) The above quotes had been stuck in my head since watching Voltron. I received the final piece and I’ve been staring at it ever since, so I thought I’d share it with you all. Enjoy this beautiful piece of art.

do you ever think about the fact that steve trevor didn’t have much faith in humanity or saving people because of the combat he’d seen

but he met diana and gave up his life to save people because diana restored that faith in him and believed in her ability to save the world. and died with a smile on his face because of her

root‘s reactions to ‘shaw telling her….’

#lets acknowledge the fact that root never ever wanted more from shaw than she was able to give #she never crossed shaw’s boundaries #she never wanted to make shaw uncomfortable etc #she just wanted HER and was willing to be patient until shaw was fully ready to go THERE #so root’s reactions to shaw’s more playful/intimate moments with her are the most precious cause you can tell shaw being that vulnerable catches her off guard #she never expected ANY confession of feelings so imagine how much root is internally screaming inside #shaw making it known that she indeed loves her back was all she ever wanted

don’t you just love it when jungkooks eyes go : ✨🌠💫✨💫🌠✨✨🌠💫✨⭐🌟✨💫🌠🌟✨💫⭐🌠💫🌠✨🌟🌟⭐✨💫🌠⭐⭐💫💫🌠🌟⭐🌠💫✨

I don’t know how to explain it but the little detail of Bitty’s hands still covered with flour really intensified this scene for me? It’s such a tiny but purposeful detail…….not only does it ground us in the moment but it really highlights the immediacy of Bitty’s support, the way he drops everything instantly because nothing else matters except helping Jack through his anxiety attack

and now I’m just imagining in-universe how those same, floured hands are what really help to bring Jack back to himself, the faint smell of bread yeast, Bitty’s unyielding warmth as Jack curls around him. He’s here, Jack thinks, I’m here, and the world slowly comes back into focus

it’s honestly so great what bts is achieving here cause like they’re not even asking for western validation they don’t need it. and they’re proud of being korean and don’t plan to release an english song they’re a korean group who want to stick with writing songs in korean and if they get popular around the world and in the west it’s because of their message and pure talent instead of catering to the west and coming out with an english song. and speaking korean in an award acceptance speech at an american award show, performing at the amas, getting invited to all sorts of talk shows, and getting articles written by popular news/music sites is just so great to see it’s a step in the right direction for the music industry and the stigma against not only kpop but for anyone who speaks/writes songs in a language other than english. i’m so proud of them and what they’re accomplishing and i’m grateful for armys always there supporting them making them feel comfortable and cheering them on. i love stanning legends
