i'm kind of almost proud of this

Happy 33rd Birthday, Carl Martin Gunnar Wallström Milkéwitz! (July 07, 1983)
“Ending up on a show like this, it’s very fortunate, and of course kind of it raises the bar for reading other projects. On the other hand, I’m always up to doing like new different characters and I don’t think I would want to fall into always playing Tyrell. If anything it’s almost the first time I’ve played a character like this and this was a lot of fun. Instead of doing like brother or like the love interest or someone, so of course that has changed.”

Klaroline: Caroline Stark

- So how did the two of you meet?

C: It’s kind of a long story.

K: And it’s classified.

- Then a question for you, Tony. What was your reaction when Caroline introduced you to her new boyfriend?

C: *awkward silence*

Klaus and Tony speak at the same time:

T: I tested my new Iron Man armor on him.

K: It’s classified.

Watching the Shameless finale again is so painful for exactly one reason only: I can’t get over the fact that they didn’t address Ian’s past in the military in regards to Carl. I am too. Pissed off. Why. Why didn’t they. Like. It obviously must shake Ian’s feelings up, for fuck’s sake. He must feel some kind of pain because his little brother is living his dream, but also he’s proud because it’s Carl we’re talking about. And maybe he’s nostalgic because he never thought about returning, but there were things he liked about growing up doing ROTC. He must FEEL things. I’m sure he does.

So why don’t they let him express those feelings? Whyyyyy why do they have to be such assholes to Ian? Why are they so fucking BLIND.

I’m not getting over this. Not ever. I’m done.

Phew! Done!
It’s kind of difficult to tell from the picture, but Kir does have little blue eyes :) I had a very limited amount of colours lying around, so I’m surprised how well it turned out! The ‘skin’ colour is almost entirely white, though, which annoys me.. Ah, well!

I love Jeon Wonwoo.
shout out to the folks who draw their own rp icons

After a little discussion last night I got to thinking… it is really a joy to find one who puts that personal special something into their muse. Regardless of style or skill level. It takes a lot of time and dedication and you should be proud of yourselves for being so talented!! And it’s one of the best kinds of practice to draw up the perfect expression for a particular moment. Y’all rock. Keep up the amazing work!!

Bluesey wedding things
  • Blue and Gansey get married young (nineteen or twenty) because they already know they’re soulmates and Gansey’s a traditionalist who wants to marry the girl of his dreams.
  • Obviously Gansey proposes. It’s kind of adorable, because he’s blushing and nervous and he almost drops the ring a few times.
  • And Blue starts crying. Of course she starts crying. And then Gansey starts crying, and when their friends come into Monmouth, they’re just sitting on the couch crying, which probably scares the hell out of Adam and Ronan.
  • Ronan is Gansey’s best man and Adam is Blue’s (because she’s not going for all that Grooms get best men and brides get bridesmaids crap. Why can’t she have both?) and Orla is her maid of honor, and Maura is the one who gives her away.
  • Blue’s dress is one of Ronan’s dream creations. He won’t admit it, but it took him nearly a month to get it just right, meaning a whole closet in the Barns is full of failed wedding dresses.
  • When Gansey sees Blue walking down the aisle, he starts crying, because he didn’t think he’d live this long and Blue looks amazing.
  • They’re adorable little creatures, so Blue tackle hugs Adam and Ronan when she gets to the altar, and then tackle hugs Gansey before their vows, which makes the whole audience burst into tears.
  • Finally, they get to their vows, which they wrote separately and wanted to keep a surprise. Gansey has a line in there about, “The first time we kissed, you took my breath away,” and Ronan scoffs and is like, “Literally,” so Blue punches his arm.
  • Blue dances with all of her Raven Boys at the reception, and when she gets tired of her wedding dress, she and Ronan take a break from the party so he can dream her something more comfortable for dancing.
  • They dance until the early hours, and then Gansey drives them back to Monmouth Manufacturing in the engineless Pig, where Ronan and Adam throw them an after-after party.
  • Basically the whole thing ends with all of them asleep on the couch. Blue’s asleep on Gansey’s lap, and Ronan’s asleep with his head on Adam’s shoulder, and when Maura comes to check on them in the morning, there’s a whole new round of tears.

Okay but consider D.Va’s entire skillset. We’re not given what kind of game she’s best of the best in, but almost all esports I’ve seen revolve heavily around battlefield knowledge, understanding of compositions, counter-compositions, and tactics.

So imagine D.Va being given an order on the battlefield, say by Winston or someone senior, and refusing because she knows what she’s doing. And this turning in to others following her advice, until she’s organizing them the same way she’d organize units in an RTS. Imagine her frustrating Talon as she figures out their playbook, and by the time they’ve come up with a counter strategy, she’s already prepared a counter-counter.

I am here for tactical genius D.Va

ONE SONG, GLORY, ONE SONG, BEFORE I GO, GLORY, ONE SONG TO LEAVE BEHIND

IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE I PLAYED MY GUITAR!!! AND, WELL, I GUESS TECHNICALLY IT’S BEEN… ALMOST TWO MONTHS. BUT TODAY I HAD INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION TO PLAY!!! I THINK I’M GETTING PRETTY GOOD!!!!!!!

SANS CAUGHT ME PLAYING AND TOOK THIS COOL PICTURE. BASK IN MY GREATNESS! NYEH HEH HEH HEH!!!

one of the saddest things to halo for me (besides, you know, everything) is the fact that the SPARTAN-II’s parents never got to see their children become the heroes they are

they dealt with their children degrading and dying and facing the worst kind of grief a parent could

when their children were actually going to become the saviors of the galaxy

it’s a pretty awful situation any way you look at it, whether it be parents knowing their children were abducted to be subjected for military training from the age of six, them forever wondering if their children were still alive, or grieving their deaths and being forced to live without their children– nothing is really a “good” outcome

but just imagine the pride all of their parents would have, the Spartan-II’s have done such incredible things, and they’re the galaxy’s heroes, it’s just so sad to me that their parents never got to see how noble and brave they’ve become, even if it would bring the heartbreak of having to see their child hardened and traumatized and not having been theirs to raise, I think they would still be proud of what the SPARTANs have done.

alternatively, since I’ve been re-reading The Fall of Reach, I’ve noticed that we follow these characters from the time they’re children, through their training and battles and basically everything up until now, so it’s hard not to feel a swell of pride akin to “THAT’S MY BOY/GIRL” whenever they do something extraordinary

AND I’M JUST REALLY ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS BYE
