i'm going to miss him

it delights me that margarethe and ella’s dad had to be sharing a room before he left. (ella says “my room is the biggest, besides yours and fathers’” implying that they share the biggest room in the house) can you imagine. can you imagine margarethe and ella’s dad sleeping in the same bed. with her poking him with her giant cold feet.

Getting Ready!

Teensy Twelve:  You forgot the sleeves.

Me:  I’m not doing sleeves.  You already have sleeves from your jumper and if I put sleeves on the hoodie you’ll look like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

Teensy Twelve:  Well, right now I look like Marty McFly.

Me:  More like Doc Brown, I’d say. Have you seen your hair?  You’re going to need a trim before you leave.

Teensy Twelve:  Please tell me you did not knit a Barbie jacket for me.

Me:  Uhm. You weren’t supposed to see that.

Teensy Twelve:  Barbie.

Me:  It’s the only pattern that fits you.  Now shush or I’ll knit a lovely evening gown and send it along.  Or a furry hat.

Ladyfriend:  Rawr.

Me:   I don’t have time to knit you a furry hat, sweetheart. Sorry.

Dwight: Prison Mike? What’s the very, very worst thing about prison?

Angela: Don’t encourage him.

Michael: The worst thing about prison was the- was the Dementors! They were flying all over the place, they were scary and then they’d come down and they would suck the soul out of your body! And it hurt!

Karen: Dementors? Like in Harry Potter?

Michael: No. Not Harry Potter. There are no movies in prison.
