↪ Day 1: TV Show: Twin Peaks

“You know, this is — excuse me — a damn fine cup of coffee!

Now, I’d like two eggs, over hard. I know, don’t tell me, it’s hard on the arteries, but old habits die hard — just about as hard as I want those eggs. Bacon, super-crispy. Almost burned. Cremated. That’s great.

And, I’ll have the grapefruit juice, just as long as those grapefruits are freshly squeezed.”

Like It Never Happened

First - Prev

Google Docs tells me I started the script for this comic on January 25, 2016. I posted the first set of pages September 11th, 2016.

After a year and a half, this comic is finally done.

Thank you, those of you who stuck with me. Your encouragement really helped me see this through to the end.

This actually happened at work

Hello friends - I needed to photograph these to send to camsterr and thought if any other emus would like to choose their own charms for a MMFD bracelet then I’d be happy to whip one up for you. I never got around to making one for series 2 because I had a bit of a rough time last year and it just never happened. Result: the charms from the 2 right columns are bountiful in numbers. (After I took this photo I also found a Bowling pin charms)

Usually it’s $25 / 7 charms / bracelet chain but I’m willing to do trades!  If you want to do a trade just let me know! You can also request any other charms/beads you see in floating around on the listings in my Etsy shop… https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlliMidoriCrafts

Additionally there’s the Epic Slice and I’m An Emu necklaces!

I find it mega intriguing that Laura said in the season finale "I'll see you in 25 years"... Just for season 3 to return on it's 25 year anniversary.

The early 90s tv show cancellations are not always what they seem.

Are you able to tell us what you need the money for? Some expenses are obvious but it would be nice to see how you plan on breaking it down. I'll be pledging soon 😄

Well, to give you a better breakdown, the Art team costs around 16K a month to be in part-time development. Full time development will cost closer to 25 or 30K, and will last at least a year (360K+). Sound (music and FX) is expected to cost around 60-70K, but there’s a lot of variable there if we want to add great covers or original songs. Voice (and implementation) could go anywhere from 50-100K, depending on the actors we hire. Programming will cost 300K at a minimum, but it’ll go faster if we send 400-500K. Plus there’s equipment, offices, software, health insurance, payroll taxes, etc. (100-200K), all of which go up the more we spend on people. And Kickstarter takes around 70K for its cut and processing fees.

So we actually expect this game to cost closer to $1 million dollars to make, but we know we can fill the gap with the gap without losing creative control as long as we have that base of $675K in place.
