i would ask you to stop but i'm being buried and can't speak

  • Yang: *Yang slammed open the door to her and Ruby's room with tears in her eyes.* Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! *yang shouted as she punched the wall repeatedly before slumping down against it onto the floor holding her hands to her face.*
  • Ruby: *Meanwhile Ruby rushed in from the bathroom in a panic.* What Happen!? I heard banging! *She then spotted her sister sitting shaking on against the wall and quickly rushed over.* Yang? Are you alright? What's wrong?
  • Yang: *Yang sniffled wiping the tears from her red eyes.* It's nothing Ruby. Just... Just go away.
  • Ruby: Yang. It's clearly not nothing. Please talk to me. I just want to help. *Ruby said moving closer to her sister placing her hand on her shoulder.*
  • Yang: *Yang was silent for a moment, trying to stop the tears from falling as her eyes slowly turn purple.* Fine... I was going to the cafe were Blake went too... I was going to go tell her how I feel about her because I just needed to get this off my chest, ya'know. *Yang sniffled wiping her eyes.* But when I got there I saw her with Sun.
  • Ruby: Okay so Blake was hanging out with Sun. That isn't out of- *Ruby started before shouted with more tears in her eyes.*
  • Yang: They were on a date Ruby!
  • Ruby: *At this Ruby looked dumbfounded with surprise.* W-what? No. they couldn't be. They are just good friend, Yang. I'm sure it was a misunderstanding.
  • Yang: *Ruby then watched as the anger in Yang's express was overwhelmed with sorrow before looking down at the ground.* That's what I was hope for, Ruby... Right up until They kissed.
  • Ruby: oh... Oh Yang. *Ruby whisper as she wrapped her arms around her sister who hugged her back burying her face into her shoulder.* I am so sorry.
  • Yang: What am I going to do Ruby? *sniffle* I love her so much. But I can never be with her. *sniffle. I can't even tell her now. *Yang cried, holding onto Ruby for dear life.*
  • Ruby: Shhhhh. It's alright. Let it all out. *Ruby whispered as she stroke Yangs head hugging her until she calmed down.* It'll be okay Yang. Why don't you go take a shower and get ready for bed. Maybe it will help you feel better.
  • Yang: *sniffle.* Yeah... Thank you Ruby.
  • Ruby: Anytime. We're sisters after all. We take care of each other. You'd do the same for me... And probably beat up the other person.
  • Yang: Hehe, Yeah I would.
  • ~Later~
  • Ruby: *Ruby walked down stair while Yang is in the shower when she hears the front door open and close.* Oh I guess Blake is back. *She thought to herself when she hear Weiss and Blake begin to talk.*
  • Weiss: Welcome back Blake.
  • Blake: Hey Weiss. Where's Yang and Ruby?
  • Weiss: Upstairs. Yang's in the shower and Ruby I think went to bed.
  • Blake: Ah I see. I'll put these left overs in the fridge then.
  • Weiss: So how did it go?
  • Blake: How did what go?
  • Weiss: Your date with Sun.
  • Blake: *Ruby then heard Blake groan as she heard her coat being thrown.* For the last time Weiss. It was not a date. We are just friends and I made that pretty clear to him as well.
  • Weiss: What do you mean?
  • Blake: Sigh, Sun kissed me.
  • Weiss: He kissed you!?
  • Blake: Yes. And then I slapped him.
  • Weiss: WHAT!? Why? I thought you liked him?
  • Blake: As. A. Friend. Honestly, If I knew he was asking me out on a date and not to hang out I would have told him no and that I only see him as a friend. Which He accepted and apologized for kissing me while I apologized for slapping him.
  • Weiss: But I don't understand! You talked you were in love with someone blonde that we know. Oh god don't tell me it's Jaune!
  • Blake: What?! No! God No!
  • Weiss: Then who? We don't know any other blonde guys and the only other person we both know who is blonde is Yang.
  • Blake: ...
  • Weiss: ... Wait.
  • Blake: Weiss. Don't.
  • Weiss: Oh. My god.
  • Blake: Weiss. I'm serious. Shut up.
  • Ruby: *It was then just as Weiss opened her mouth to speak Ruby stepped out from around the corner and nearly shouted.* YOU LOVE YANG!
  • Blake: R-RUBY!? *Blake jumped in surprise, nearly dropping the box of sweet as Weiss watched from the chair she sat in.* H-hey. Uh, I thought you were sleep. I, uh, got some sweetd from the cafe if you want any. *Blake then watched as Ruby zipped over infront of her slapping the box out of her hand to the floor, shocking both her and Weiss before Ruby took hold of her shoulder.*
  • Ruby: Yeah. Forget that. Is it true!? You Actually love my sister?!
  • Blake: I...
  • Weiss: Ruby what is wrong with-
  • Ruby: Not now Weiss! I'll example later! Blake! Do you or do you not love Yang!?
  • Blake: Well I mean... *Blake muttered shifting nervously at Ruby's gaze before finally cracking.* Okay Yes. I love Yang but you can't tell her, please.
  • Ruby: Oh thank you god!
  • Blake/Weiss: Eh?
  • Ruby: Blake You are going to go up stair to Yang right now and tell Yang how yu feel. Like right now!
  • Blake/Weiss: What? Why? *the two said together before looking at each other weirdly then back to Ruby.*
  • Ruby: Because Yang has been crying for the past hour thinks you and Sun are dating!
  • Blake: Why would Yang think that and why was she crying about it?
  • Ruby: Because she loves you and she saw Sun kissing you!
  • Blake: WHAT!? OH MY GOD! YANG!*Blake Shouted and quickly ran past Ruby and upstairs.*
  • Weiss: You think she remembers me saying Yang is in the shower? *Both Weiss and Ruby then looked as they heard a door slam open.*
  • Blake: YANG! IT WASN'T A DATE! I DON'T LOVE SUUUUWHOAMYGOD!
  • Yang: AAAAAAAAAAAH! BLAKE! WHAT THE HELL!?
  • Blake: I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE NAKED!
  • Yang: I JUST GOT OUT OF THE SHOWER! STOP PEAKING AND GET OUT OR AT LEAST GIVE MY A TOWEL!
  • Ruby: Yeah I'm going to go with nope. *Ruby then took a bite of a cookie from the box on the floor.*

Do you ever rewatch Welcome to Hell? Just for your own enjoyment?

Aaaaabsolutely not.

In fact, if I’m around other people and someone pulls it up on youtube to show it off, I will actually leave the room.  If I can’t leave the room, I will bury my face in my phone, or my food, or whatever else is nearby for me to fiddle with.  If I happen to be in the middle of a conversation with someone else in the room, I’ll TRY to ignore it and continue having the conversation, but my brain will go blank and my face will go red and I’ll find myself trailing off, stopping every couple of words, because I can hear Welcome to Hell in all of it’s poorly-mixed glory echoing softly across the room; it’s dialogue like the ghost of an old lover whispering in my ears.  How is the audience responding?  Are they laughing with it, or at it?  Are they silent because they’re bored, or invested?  Do they know why it looks the way it does; what I went through to make it?   Do they get it?  Do they think I’m crazy?

IT’S TOO MUCH, DUDE.  It’s too much.

Girl Meets The Jellyfish Pact
  • This scene is inspired by another episode of friends.
  • Location: Minkus Family Beach House.
  • The gang just arrived at Farkle's family beach house for the weekend. Everyone takes their suitcases to their rooms except Maya who crashes on the couch and falls asleep. Everyone arrives back to the living room.
  • Riley: What's everybody's plan today?
  • Farkle: I'm going to the beach.
  • Zay: Me too.
  • Riley: Can I come?
  • Farkle: Of course.
  • Riley: (looks at Lucas, Smackle, and Maya) How about you guys?
  • Smackle: I'm going to stay here and read.
  • Lucas: I'll just walk around.
  • Riley: Maya?
  • Maya is snoring loudly.
  • Farkle: See you guys later.
  • Everyone leaves.
  • Location: Beach.
  • Riley is laying on a towel. Farkle is sitting in a beach chair while Zay is digging a hole in the sand.
  • Farkle: There's a Zombie Apocalypse, I'm the only man left, would you date me?
  • Riley: If you were the only man left, maybe.
  • Zay: Hey, guys look at my hole.
  • Farkle: Wow, what a waste of time.
  • Riley: Don't listen to him Zay, it's a nice hole.
  • Zay: Thank you Riley.
  • Zay sticks his tongue out at Farkle.
  • Farkle: You know the Tide's just going to fill it up with water.
  • Zay: That's not going to happen. I made sure that we were far enough away from the ocean before I started digging.
  • The tide brings the water to the beach filling up the hole Zay made.
  • Zay: Damn.
  • Riley jumps up.
  • Riley: Ow! Ow! Ow!
  • Zay: Are you in pain?
  • Riley: No, I always say ow for no reason.
  • Farkle: What happened?
  • Riley: I think I got stung by a jellyfish.
  • Farkle: We should get you back to the house.
  • Riley: It hurts too much to walk.
  • Zay: And I'm tired from digging that hole.
  • Farkle: Then what should we do?
  • Zay: I was watching Discovery channel and-
  • Farkle: Wait, you watch the Discovery channel?
  • Zay: It was by accident.
  • Riley: Is there a point to the story? I'm going to pass out from the pain.
  • Zay: The point, before I was rudely interrupted, was you have to pee on the jellyfish sting.
  • Riley: What?
  • Farkle: He's right. The ammonia is supposed to kill the pain.
  • Riley: I'm not peeing on myself. I rather just deal with the pain.
  • Riley starts walking back to the house and stops.
  • Riley: Ow! Ow!
  • Riley turns around to face Farkle and Zay.
  • Riley: Fine. I'll do it. But you can't watch.
  • Farkle holds up a blanket to cover Riley. Riley tries multiple positions so she can pee on the sting.
  • Riley: Um, guys, I can't do it. I can't bend that way.
  • Farkle: What are we going to do?
  • Riley: One of you have to do it.
  • Farkle: Not it.
  • Zay looks at Riley and Farkle.
  • Zay: Aw man.
  • Location: Beach House.
  • Maya, Lucas, and Smackle are playing cards. Riley, Farkle and Zay rushed in.
  • Riley: I'm going to take a shower and stay in there forever.
  • Riley leaves.
  • Maya: What happened?
  • Farkle: (talking fast) Nothing happened. Why would you asked that? Who told you stuff happened? Stop giving me the third degree.
  • Farkle leaves.
  • Maya looks at Zay.
  • Zay: I got nothing.
  • Zay walks away.
  • The next day.
  • Riley, Farkle, and Zay are eating breakfast. They won't look each other in the eyes.
  • Maya, Lucas and Smackle walk in.
  • Maya: This is ridiculous. You guys won't even look at each other. Something happened on that beach and we demand to know what it is now.
  • Farkle: We made a pact to never talk about it.
  • Riley: It stays in the past.
  • Zay: It's buried in the hole I digged.
  • They get up and try to leave but Maya, Lucas, and Smackle blocks the doors.
  • Lucas: No one is leaving until you tell us what happened.
  • Riley looks at Farkle and Zay. They nod.
  • Riley: Fine, we'll tell you.
  • Maya: Start from the beginning.
  • Zay: It started on a stormy Sunday afternoon.
  • Maya: What?
  • Zay: You said start from the beginning. I'm telling you about the day I was born.
  • Maya: I meant about what happened on the beach, you maroon.
  • Zay: Oh.
  • Riley: We were on the beach.
  • Zay: I was digging a hole. It was the biggest hole I ever dug.
  • Farkle: He was so proud of himself.
  • Zay: (smiling) I was.
  • Riley: Then the tide came.
  • Zay: And it destroyed my hole.
  • Riley: And a jellyfish stung me.
  • Farkle: Riley was in too much pain to walk. So Zay remembered something he watched on tv.
  • Zay: I was watching the Discovery channel-
  • Lucas: You were watching the Discovery channel? Were you watching channels by accident again?
  • Zay: Yeah.
  • Smackle: I saw the same show. They said...
  • Smackle pauses and looks at Riley.
  • Smackle: Ewww!!!
  • Maya and Lucas: What?
  • Smackle: She peed on herself.
  • Maya and Lucas: Ewww!!!!
  • Riley: I tried and failed. I couldn't bend that way. So I asked Farkle and Zay to pee on me.
  • Farkle: And I said no.
  • Maya, Lucas, and Smackle looks at Zay.
  • Zay: That's right. I stepped up to the plate. I took one for the team. I peed on Riley. I would peed on everybody.
  • Riley: How did you take one for the team? I was the one being peed on. And you didn't even peed on me.
  • Smackle: You didn't?
  • Zay: (looks down) No, I'm a fraud. It was too much pressure. Performance anxiety.
  • Maya: Then who peed on Riley?
  • Farkle raises his hand.
  • Farkle: I did. I kept aiming everywhere but the foot.
  • Everyone laughs.
  • Riley: It wasn't funny. Starting now, we'll never speak of this again. We're taking this to our grave.
  • Everyone: Agreed.
  • The next day.
  • Location: Topanga's.
  • Farkle: About that Zombie Apocalypse.
  • Riley: Dude, never going to happen. You will always be the idiot that peed on me.
  • Farkle: Fair enough.
  • The end.

not to be Gay but I can't imagine for the life of me how Bones could *not* love Jim. both in a friendly way and in an "I'm in love with you way". it's just kind of an inevitability imo and Bones is 100% the type of person who gets all sappy and adorable in private because Jim Kirk Deserves To Be Loved Dammit and Bones doesn't really do "casual" (plus no way would Jim do that with Bones because It's Bones???)

*holds ur face in my hands* anon,,, if this is you being Gay,, please always be as Gay as possible

this is such a beautiful ask; i don’t know if i’ll be able to provide even half as satisfactory an answer, but i’ll do my best

  • a simple fact: bones loves jim. bones is absolutely head-over-heels, awfully, terribly, ridiculously in love with jim kirk.
  • it’s not an easy kind of love. it’s a very difficult, complicated sort of love, and yet it’s also the simplest kind- age-old, bone-deep devotion, slowly developed over years. bones would go to the ends of the earth for jim kirk, alongside jim kirk, with only mild a lot of complaining, but that’s the thing: he’d follow jim anywhere; no matter how much he grumbled and criticised jim’s often questionable decisions, he’d drag himself by a fingernail to be with jim every step of the way.
  • it’s not instant love, either. there’s no chorus of angels, no sharp sting of cupid’s arrow hitting it’s mark when bones sees jim kirk for the first time. when bones first meets jim on that shuttle in iowa, he just sees another kid starfleet scraped off the streets and stuffed his head full of pretty, empty promises of honour and hope and glory and the excitement of exploring the vast uncharted void of space. they’d swallow him up and, once they’d extracted everything they could gain from him, they’d spit out the broken, useless remains.
  • bones has already left a daughter and an ex-wife behind. he doesn’t someone else to take care of. someone else who will destroy themselves and drag him down with them when they do. but when bones looks at jim- really looks at him- and sees the determination built on more than just starfleet’s manufactured fantasies burning in his eyes, he realises he has no choice in the matter.
  • bones is a healer. he has a gift for repairing people, for putting them back together. that’s why he became a doctor. and bones knows jim, before he even knows jim, will be an unstoppable force when he decides to rush headlong into danger and dash himself to pieces at the bottom. but maybe, just maybe, bones can be there to pick up the pieces. to hold them together as best as he can.
  • (loving jim is an inevitable conclusion, but the journey to get there is a complicated one, one that bones has to undertake and accept in his own time, on his own terms.)
  • and so every day for three years, bones forces himself to wake up in the morning, and every day he finds himself by jim kirk’s side, listening with incredulity to this genius kid with his too-loud mouth that can’t speak in whispers and his too-bright eyes that are feverish in their intensity ramble on about his hopes, observations, ambitions and opinions and somehow, no matter how much he gripes and insists that jim’s a damn fool, headed for a hard fall one day, mark my words, he somehow finds himself agreeing with him every single time.
  • jim kirk burns his candle at both ends, and yet somehow stubbornly continues to burn hotter and brighter, even as the darkness closes around him, and bones finds himself realising he’d do anything to be there to weather the storm for this kid who has no concept of personal privacy and steals his alcohol, who labels him with shitty nicknames and petty insults that sound too much like fond endearments to be safe, who gets into stupid fights because he can and always calls bones first because he knows bones will drop whatever he’s doing to be there with harsh words and gentle hands when jim kirk needs him the most.
  • (a deep, long-buried part of bones knows that jim kirk is saving him, too, but that’s a secret he keeps even from himself, for both their sakes.)
  • bones doesn’t just love jim- he’s devoted to him. it’s devotion that makes him follow jim into space- “disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence” and all- despite his aviphobia and his reservations about jim’s decision making-abilities, because at the end of the day, where else would he go?
  • and so every day bones forces himself to wake up and carry on, and every day it gets a little easier and yet so much harder at the same time, because one day bones looks into jim’s eyes and finally sees what he thought was reckless abandon and a hunger for self-destruction replaced by the hope that lit them from within all along, and soon after has to stop looking altogether, because doing so causes his mouth to go dry and his heart to stutter painfully in his chest.
  • bones knows he can’t have jim. jim won’t survive being tied down, and bones refuses be the one to clip his wings and try to ground him. bones is a doctor- he’s good at putting things back together, repairing them. he’s also very skilled at taking them apart.
  • bones has taken it upon himself to hold jim together when the rest of the world is against him. he won’t betray jim’s faith in him by breaking him. bones devoted himself to jim and to starfleet the moment he first stepped on the enterprise at the beginning of their five-year mission. he’s made his peace with that. and that’s enough. it has to be.
  • and it is, until they’re on a recon mission and for the first time in months there’s no hostile native species, no tricks or traps or battles to be fought, and the whole crew is relaxing on the planet they beamed down to. chekov found a lake with clean water, and spock deemed it safe enough to bring food down to the surface. and bones is just sitting and watching them all enjoy themselves- chekov and sulu examining the local flora, uhura reclining on the grass with chapel, spock trying to console a fretful scotty- when bones looks up and there’s jim kirk, standing directly in front of him, one hand thrust out like an offering.
  • “go with me” says jim. “where?” asks bones, and jim smiles. “does it matter?”
  • and as bones forces himself to meet jim’s eyes for the first time in months and sees his own devotion reflected back at him, something inside him falls, gracelessly, but with an inevitability that is strangely comforting, into place.
  • oh, it says.
  • there you are, it says. i’ve been looking for you.
  • bones stands up and dusts off his pants. “alright” he says. jim hasn’t moved; his hand is still outstretched, waiting.
  • he takes it.

shkshjs im sorry this turned in a rambly fanfic/headcanon dump
