Running Out of Time
The new semester has been looming in the distance for the past month. It’s only now that I’m realizing that classes start on Monday! I am so not ready for a new semester to begin. I feel like I’ve hardly had a break. I’ve been working forty hours a week for the past three weeks, plus forty more this week! My bank account is happy, but my body is tired. I just hope I will have a refreshing weekend, I have Saturday off at the very least, to prepare for the months ahead. Just yesterday I realized that I hadn’t even bought my textbooks for the coming year. I have only five classes and four of them require books. Of those four I’ve ordered two books online, the other two I will be buying the digital copy after the first class. I learned last year that when a class requires an online homework pass, it often comes with a digital copy of the text book. It’s a great way to save money and paper. So, I have been organized enough to get my books all in order. However, I’m not sure how I’m going to get to campus. I looked in to buying a parking pass, but the system claimed that I was not eligible for one. This must mean that they are sold out of commuter passes. I don’t know if this means I’ll need to find somewhere to park on the street or if I’ll need to find a bus stop. Either way, I clearly ran out of time in that respect. I’m also running out of time writing this post. I have to be at work in seven and half hours! Those morning shifts are a real buzzkill on my evenings. Off to bed!
