i won't post them all

I love drawing tiny pixel pokemon (~‾⌣‾)~

I made sticker sets on redbubble from these because I’m gonna get myself a few so you can too

Progress is so slow, but here are some of the more finished stills from my WIP Raven Cycle animation project I keep mentioning.

BTAS (Gotham Rogues) Pixel Art by Gwendal Uguen

The entire set can be found here, it includes almost every character from the show. Definitely worth a look!

I’m not gonna directly post some of the transphobic community survey results for professionalism’s sake, but I can say that they’re all really fucking cringy.

(Edit: Context is that we had more options than just male, female, and other/prefer not to disclose this year.)

Imagine taking time out of your day to complete this survey, and then answering a free-form question about the WIKI (not the survey!) with your bigoted bullshit that no one asked for and then somehow thinking you’re, like, the smart one in life. That you’re in the right and superior because you bitched at SCP staff about irrelevant shit in your freeform community survey answer.

You’re not. You’re not the smart one. You make people cringe. You and all other transphobes make scientists and biologists cringe, too, when you pretend their fields of study are somehow scientifically backing your transphobia when they’re not. You are cringe. Bigotry is cringe. Top cringe.

I really hope you guys don’t mind me spamming your dash but I rlly wanna say this because I feel like you guys don’t really know nor do I show it enough… I just wanna give you guys a big thank you. Just the biggest thank you. Your support means everything to me. Every tag every ask, both anon and non anon, every direct message or submission sent in support of my art and me myself and even just the kind thoughts in your mind… just thank you. Thank you for your criticisms and thank you for your praise. Thank you guys for taking the time out of your day to give a second to what I make and what I consider doing. I say often I’ll do things that you request and most of the time never get to it sadly due to busy and issues, but your still here. I bounce from drawing things I like to things just for you guys and your still here. Days will go by without art and your still here. Problems will come up and your still here. I owe you guys my everything. You guys are the reason I wake up and consider moving my body just to spend hours to make something new. You guys are the reason I keep going and doing what it is i love. I get no real support in my household and having you guys makes up so much for that because I know maybe not everyone but you guys care. And that’s all I’ll ever need. Thank you for giving me a chance to grow here. Thank you to those who have been with me since the very beginning and watched me grow. And thank you to those who are still continuing. Thank you. Just thank you. Because if it weren’t for you guys I wouldn’t be drawing still today. I probably would have given up. If it weren’t for you guys I wouldn’t know what it is i want to do later on. I doubt myself and my art constantly. But you guys really help me see past my doubt and allow me to admire it for what I shame it to be. I promise I’ll do my best to continue growing. Learn from my mistakes, and experiment more so that I can keep doing the best I can. I owe you guys everything. I really do. I may not respond to every message (I forget;;; then I get anxious answering messages late) but I read them all and I sure as hell appreciate every single one. Thank you for being here…. just thank you so much..

Tanks, August 10th, 2017.

I moved some plants in the 29, cleaned some green algae, and added 6 tiny celestial pearl danios. Trimmed, rearranged, and replanted some stem plants in the 10a, also added some floating pennywort. The red plants in the 7 are getting redder (thank goodness!!), and I redesigned the 10b, again, this time with all the breeding stuff I’ve been using with the celestial pearls in one tank instead of all these separate boxes/small tanks. I don’t think any fry are going to appear out of the java moss or boxes at this point, but at least I have it set up for when I try again (if I can ever find the big male in the tank, who vanished since I put him back in the main tank… I see him when I scare him out, but he won’t come out on his own.) Then, I moved the emerald dwarf rasboras to the 2 gallon for a week or so to see if they’ll breed. Fingers crossed! I’m not even entirely sure I have males and females, I’m really bad with this species… I didn’t do anything new in the 5, but Eonwë did get a new almond leaf.

@wildunderbeastly Here it is my love! 💚 I told you I would draw ya the Fell Sans grinning

Everyone loved the Christmas cards that year. It seem like there wasn’t a way to top it but surprisingly it was Cass who took an even better picture for the next year’s cards

Tumblr Fact or Fiction - Doctor Who - Judoon Platoon on the Moon

Claim:  Russell T. Davis included the phrase “Judoon platoon upon the moon” deliberately to give David a hard time - as it is pronounced differently in David’s natural Scottish accent as opposed to the Doctor’s Estuary accent.

History:  This claim didn’t originate on Tumblr - it’s been around since the episode aired and has managed to worm it’s way into many (fan-updated) wikis as though it is fact – but can anyone find an actual citation for this (Wikipedia couldn’t find one)?  Is it actually fact?

Source of the myth:  On March 28, 2007 David appeared on Chris Moyles’ radio show to promote series 3 of Doctor Who. They discussed Smith and Jones (featuring the quote in question). The hosts were also quite taken by David’s Scottish accent.  Among the quotes on the show:
CM:  Do you ever get halfway through a scene and go, "Sorry I’m gonna have to stop, that’s too Scottish?”
DT:  Ehhh… no.  I don’t think I do really.
[later, after David tells them the name of the episode’s baddie]
CM: I think Russell T. Davies purposefully writes alien names that sound Scottish…
DT:  Yeah, to try to catch me out?
CM:  Absolutely!
DT: I think he does, yeah.  And there’s a line where I have to say, “Judoon platoon upon the moon.”
[everyone laughs]
CM:  Isn’t that the knife that you wear in your sock when you wear the kilt?
DT:  That’s a sgian-dubh.
CM:  Judoon platoon upon the moon?
DT:  Yeah
CM:  He’s definitely done that to wind you up!
DT:  [laughs] Yeah, he probably has.
CM:  [goes off on some imaginary scenario where RTD sits at home shouting to his wife(!!) to come up with Scottish-sounding names]

So, I believe that’s the source of the myth - and you would think that DT himself is a very good source, right?  But David really only jokingly agrees with Moyles’ suggestion, saying that’s “probably” what RTD does, so I don’t think that can be taken as fact.

Discounting the myth:
On the DVD commentary track for Series 4 episode The Poison Sky (which was recorded right before The Poison Sky aired in the UK), Susie Liggat (producer) asked RTD:
SL:  Now, a thing that I’ve always wondered, with you two chaps in the room, is: Do you, Russell, set David the odd really difficult thing to say to see whether… like Raxicalla-whatever that one is?
RTD: No, to be honest.  I know what you mean, it could look like that.
SL:  Sometimes I think, nobody…
DT:  The square root of Pi to 30 decimal places wasn’t easy, Russell… thank you.  For episode 10.
RTD: [laughs loudly]
SL:  It feels like there’s sort of a gamesmanship, I suppose, about it.  Like, is he going to look this up in the Latin, ancient Greek…
RTD: I don’t really!  Honestly.  I just sit there and think of the Doctor. Absolutely honestly.  And that, unfortunately for you, that is what the Doctor is like as a man.  This version of the Doctor loves words. I think he talks to himself a lot of the time - he’s listening to himself.  He enjoys… He does puns that nobody even gets.
DT:  I love it, to be honest!
[…]
RTD: I do remember this year thinking, in Pompeii, that “Species designation according to the universal ratification of the Shadow Proclamation” [big laugh] I remember putting that in and thinking, that’s a laugh!  I think that’s the only time I’ve ever thought, “that’s a bit of a laugh”, actually.  Let’s have a go at that one.

Conclusion:
Unless someone knows of a quote where RTD admits that he came up with the Judoon name/phrase to give David a challenge, I think we can’t count this myth as fact.  It started as a joke from Chris Moyles, and later Russell said that he doesn’t deliberately write lines in an effort to trip up David. This evidence isn’t entirely conclusive – RTD admittedly lied to protect plotlines and such, and people sometimes forget why they did certain things over time, but I don’t believe we have conclusive evidence that this myth is true. DT and RTD did the Smith and Jones DVD commentary together, and the line/reason for the name “Judoon” didn’t come up at that time.  Unless someone can provide a quote where RTD admits it to be fact, I personally count this as an untrue myth.

I make no claim of being the keeper of all Doctor Who knowledge, and I’m certainly not perfect, but I can share the sources that I’m aware of and provide a place to gather evidence as to the veracity (or lack thereof) of these claims. Please let me know if you are aware of real, verifiable quotes from RTD or another knowledgeable member of the cast/crew and I’ll add it to the list of evidence.

The “shoes photo” from The Idiot’s Lantern isn’t David and Billie (or is it?)
David hadn’t seen Billie since Doomsday, and was surprised to see her in Stolen Earth

I was going through old icons in my photobucket (I’m gonna share select ones with you guys, especially the animated ones!) and it’s really nostalgic, mostly DP and AG era stuff…

@nerdinsandals: you’ll appreciate these.

@rohanite: some birds and an embarrassed Sato in a straw hat “you saw that….?”

Some protectiveness during the finale. @protonstims

@veneerofcute: I actually made tons of Shinji since I used to play ‘em, but no other animations, I think.

I just. Love. Hunter J.

Haruka fretting while talking about her dad without mentioning, he’s, y’know, her dad.

I have terrible taste: jerk commander, lords over a small child too young to go on a journey and menaces him on a cliff edge, won’t stop flirtatious banter with the opposing team’s commander.
