i wish my parents cared that much

If you aren’t ready to 100% love and care for a child don’t have a child
Because no child deserves to grow up feeling like a burden
No child deserves to be made to feel worthless
No child should have to earn a parents love
No child should live in constant fear of saying the wrong thing and being punished
No child should be scared of being kicked out of the house
No child should feel like they aren’t enough to deserve love
Children don’t ask to be born
Don’t make them feel like the wish the hadn’t

I had a lot of feelings this week. This is what came out of them.

Spoilers for Episode 85 ahoy.

When Percy opens the door to the inn room, he sees Vex standing in front of a long mirror. Her hair is loose, cascading over her shoulders and back in long waves, and she’s wielding a brush as fiercely as she might wield her bow, yanking on a knot near her ear. When she notices him, she doesn’t look up. “We have enough money to each have our own rooms, you know.”

After the last couple of days, he doesn’t take it personally. “I’m sorry, is this Vex I’m speaking with?” he says mildly. “Maybe our rakshasa friend came back early and replaced her.”

“Fuck you,” she replies, but her heart is clearly not in it.

i’m at that point where i try to study but i physically can’t bring myself to so i get really stressed and i dont know if i care too much or i dont care at all but it makes me overwhelmed and all i want to do is sleep

A letter to my parents

I wish i could tell you Why i prefer to be alone, Why i don’t like going out. I wish i could tell you that i don’t really care about what’s in someone’s pants, while choosing my love. I wish i could tell you that sometimes i want to give up on my dreams. I wish i could tell you that all i want you to say is “I believe in you”.
I wish i could tell you so much things that matter to me or are my struggles, but i won’t tell you anything.
I won’t tell you anything despite “I’m fine”. I won’t tell you that sometimes all i need is someone to say “You are doing great”. I won’t tell you that i’ve found a girl/guy that i like. I won’t tell you about the book i’ve read or a movie i’ve watched.
And you probably wonder Why i won’t tell you anything. Well, the answer is simple. You just don’t care. You don’t care If inread a book that changed my life, all you care about is a math task. You don’t care If i lay in my bed thinking about my wrongs, all you care is that i wake up to school next morning. You don’t care If i don’t see a purpose in what i do, as long as i have straight A’s.
So, here is my letter to you. A letter you will never read.

Catch Up Here: Masterpost

“So, everything pointed to Vampires, but the more I’ve researched, the more I’ve come to realize that might not be the case.” Sam said as you sat nervously in the back of the Impala. Cas was sitting next to you, staring at your knee that wouldn’t stop bouncing. You were a bundle of nerves. Nervous about the hunt that was your first in years. Scared at seeing your parents again for the first time in a couple of weeks. Wondering how they were going to react when they found you traveling with Sam and Dean.

“I believe it might be two types of monsters working together.” Cas answered, reaching over and placing his hand on your knee. The weight from his hand, along with the positive energy he sent your way calmed you enough that your body stilled.

“Did you really think you could keep secrets from me, Y/N?” Veronica asked, startling me as I was getting my history text book from my locker.

“I don’t know what you mean.” I called over my shoulder, digging through my backpack for a pencil, I was always losing those damn things.

“Don’t play stupid with me, Jughead told me already.” she said, my heart skipping a beat at the mention of Jugheads name. Other than that, I was a little tired of her guessing game and I rolled my eyes, thankfully she didn’t see.

“I still don’t know what you’re talking about, Ronnie, you’re going to have to be a little more specific.” I said, closing my locker and turning around to face her.

“You’re birthday is this Saturday! (y/b/d) is your birthday right?” she excitedly asked, and I gulped, reluctantly nodding my head.

“Yes, but please don’t say anything to anyone else, especially not Cheryl, I really don’t want anything big and special for my birthday. I’d rather pretend it wasn’t happening.” I said, walking down the hallway with Veronica by my side, looking curiously at me.

“Why don’t you want to celebrate?” she asked, and I sighed, the subject made me kind of sad, but I trusted Veronica with my hardships and feelings.

“I’ve never really celebrated my birthday. Back home, my parents didn’t care much about them, it was such an unimportant event in my household that when I was little, I barely could even remember when my birthday was. It wasn’t until school when I really started to remember, only because my teachers would wish me a happy day.” I admit, my heart sinking a little. Veronica looked at me apologetically, putting a hand on my shoulder.

“I’m so sorry, wait so you’ve never had a birthday party?” She asked, and I chuckled sadly.

“Nope, to me, my birthday is just another day. Nothing too special about it, or about me.” I said, finally reaching my history class. Veronica gave me a hug, and I gladly accepted, she was my best friend of course. “Enjoy your off period.” I said, and she smiled.

“Have fun in history.” she said, backing up slowly, and I could see a hint of mischief on her face, and I could tell the cogs in her head were turning. She was up to something, but instead of questioning her further, I went inside the classroom, taking my seat, I’d ask her later.

•••

“I want to throw Y/N a surprise birthday party.” Veronica announced as she walked into the student lounge where the rest of the gang were chilling. Y/N was the only one in the gang who didn’t have 4th period off. Cheryl quickly stood from her seat, smiling wide.

“I want to help!” She exclaimed and Veronica nodded her head excitedly.

“Wait, its Y/Ns birthday?” Kevin asked, the question peaking Josie, Archie, Betty, and Reggies interest too, they weren’t aware of her birthday either.

“Yes, and I don’t think she’d like that very much.” Jughead said, closing his laptop and looking up at the raven-haired girl from his seat on the couch. “She doesn’t have all that great of a backstory with birthdays-”

“Yeah yeah, mommy and daddy didn’t celebrate them with her, she didn’t know her own birthday for the first few years of life, I heard the story.” Veronica interrupted, and Jughead rolled his eyes, not too happy she had exposed Y/Ns birthday sob story for the whole lounge to hear.

“That’s awful.” Archie said, sitting up on the couch.

“Yeah, her parents sound like dicks.” Reggie added, and everyone nodded their heads.

“Very much so, which is why I want her to celebrate her birthday with people who actually care. Throw her a party that will make her like her birthday again, Y/N deserves to be celebrated!” she said.

“Birthdays aren’t just about getting older, they’re celebrating you being put on this earth, it’s like celebrating her existence, and showing her we all love her by doing just that will totes make her happy!” Cheryl said, quickly pulling out her phone.

“Anyone who’s willing to help plan it will definitely be appreciated, i want to make this the best day of her life.” Veronica said, smiling to the kids around her who were nodding.

“Count me in.” Betty said, and Archie grabbed her hand.

    “Me as well.” he added.

“What the hell, I love to plan a good party, and Y/N is one of my closest friends so…” Kevin said, shrugging his shoulders and smiling.

“I want to help, and the Pussycats and I would totally love to play for her!” Josie replied excitedly.

“I’ll get my teammates to bring some booze, make it a real party!” Reggie said, pulling out his phone to text his friends, Veronica smiled, looking towards Jughead.

“Juggie, are you in?” She asked, and Jughead ran his hand through his hair. Sure he wanted to do something special like this for you, but he was scared you wouldn’t react nicely to it. A surprise party is a big thing, a small get together would be much better.

“Yeah come on, maybe you’ll find the perfect time to tell her how much you love her.” Reggie said teasingly, and the whole crew agreed, causing Jughead to blush slightly. Little did they know they had actually hit a nerve, everyone suspected his feelings for the y/h/c girl, but it was never confirmed.

“Yeah whatever, count me in I guess.” He muttered, opening his laptop again.

“Alright, then its settled, operation ‘Surprise Birthday Bash’ is underway.” Veronica said, jumping excitedly.

•••

“Why exactly do I have to dress nicely if we’re just going to Pops?” I asked Polly who had come over to my house, out of the blue may I add, and asked if I wanted to join her at the diner.

“I-I don’t want to be the only one in a dress.” Polly said, trying her best to make an excuse. “I’m already going to stand out as a pregnant young lady, it would be greatly appreciated if I wasn’t the only one in a dress”

“Because people are definitely going to care.” I said, rummaging through my closet for a dress. I pulled out a black dress that fell to mid thigh, and had a cut-out on the chest with fairly short sleeves. It was casual but with a hint of elegance to it, it was my favourite.

“Yes, definitely that one!” Polly said excitedly, turning around so I could change into it. I pulled it over my body, smoothing the garment out against myself and Polly smiled brightly at me. “Beautiful as always! You ready?”

“Yup, let go!” I said excitedly because damn I was hungry. I got into the car with Polly, and she climbed into the front seat, turning on the music and driving off. After a few minutes of driving, she suddenly pulled over to the side of the road, rummaging through her purse.

“Oh damn it.” she muttered under her breathe, and I just watched, very confused as to what was going on. “I forgot my phone at home, we’ll have to go get it. My parents are out of town and they call every few hours to make sure everything is alright.” she said, starting the car again and racing down the street.

“Oh okay, do you want me to run inside and get it for you? I can’t imagine how hard it must be to climb in and out of cars with a stomach that size.” I offered, and Polly laughed, one hand going down to her very pregnant belly.

“You’re a sweetheart, I’m so glad you moved here and became friends with my sister and I!” she said, and I smiled, Polly was so kind, I swear I loved her just as much as her sister. My heart fluttered at the thought of love, the next person coming to mind was Jughead. I loved him of course, but in a different way as everyone else.

“My phone is on the kitchen counter,  but I don’t know if the door is unlocked… hmm. How about I just come in with you, I could use a glass of water before we get on the road again.” Polly said, getting out of the car and I followed, walking with her to the front of the house. I got to the door first though, and I tried it, seeing it was unlocked I swung it open and tried to look through the darkness. Polly was right behind me, and together we looked for the light switch. Before I could find it though, they turned on, and I saw a ton of people jump out from behind furniture.

“Surprise!” the crowd yelled, scaring me half to death, to which everyone thought was funny because they started laughing.

“I-I-I don’t know what to say… is this all for me?” I stuttered, taken aback by all the people who actually cared enough to celebrate my birthday with me.

“Of course silly, who else would it be for?” Cheryl said, walking from the crowd, giving me a hug.

“I don’t know.” I half laughed, looking around at everyone.

“Well, are we just going to stand here or are we going to get our party on?” Veronica asked, and everyone cheered.

“What do you want to drink, birthday girl?” Reggie asked, dragging me along to the kitchen and I shrugged.

“Hmm, how about a Rum and Dr. Pepper?” I suggested, and Reggie looked at me surprised. “What, you did bring alcohol right, I mean why else would you be here?” I teasingly asked, and Reggie rolled his eyes.

“I’m here because it’s your birthday and you’re one of my favourite people, and of course I brought alcohol. I was just surprised that’s what you wanted to start with, I’ve never taken you as much of a drinker.” He said, and I nodded, slightly agreeing.

“Me either.” Jughead said behind me, making my heart stop and I must have blushed because Reggie looked at me knowingly.

“Make that two rums and Dr. Peppers, please?” I asked, and Reggie nodded.

“You got it, birthday girl.” I smiled at him and turned around to face Jughead, admiring his wild beanie-less raven-hair and his bright smile.

“Happy birthday, Y/N.” he said sweetly. “I hope you’re enjoying yourself.”

“Thank you Juggie, and yeah, I’m having fun so far, although it’s a little big, a small get together would have been nicer, half these people don’t know who I am.” I said, and Jughead nodded. Reggie handed us our drinks, breaking my gaze from the boy in front of me.

“Then you should change that, make them know who you are.” he said, winking and backing away.

“Alrighty Reggie, I’ll try that.” I said, Jughead and I chuckling to ourselves.

“You know, I told them that a small get together would be better, but no one ever listens to me.” he said, and I laughed and pretended to be offended.

“Hey, I listen to you all the time, what do you mean?” I defensively said, and he nodded his head, taking a sip of his drink.

“Oof, that’s strong.” he said, shaking his head slightly, and I laughed. “Well anyways Y/N, speaking of listening, do you mind hearing me out on something real quick?” he asked somewhat nervously, and I nod my head.

“Of course Beanie, what’s up?” He smiled slightly at the use of my nickname towards him, and it made my heart beat a little faster. I took a drink of my Rum and Dr. Pepper, also shuddering slightly at how strong it was.

“Listen, it’s totally okay if you don’t feel the same,” he started, and my eyes widen a bit, I mean this couldn’t be happening could it? I’m imagining this, I’m day dreaming. “But I’ve been feeling some kind of way ever since you’ve moved here a year ago, and I haven’t been able to shake it… I guess what I’m trying to say is I think I’m in love with you.” he said, and my smile grew larger.

“Oh, Juggie I love you too.” I said, and his face lit up.

“Wait, you do?” he asked unsurely, and I nodded, putting my drink on the counter next to me.

“Of course, how could I not? You’ve been here for me since day one of me being in Riverdale, you’ve stuck by my side and made me laugh, and you always know how to cheer me up when I’m sad. It seems it was destiny for me to fall for my sardonic, beanie wearing, sarcastic, handsome best friend.” I said, and Jughead leaned down, smiling at me. He got close to my face, closing his eyes to which I did the same.

“It seems it was destiny for me to fall for the new, sassy, sarcastic, sometimes very bitchy, beautiful girl who would also happen to be my best friend.” he whispered before pressing his lips to mine. We that there for what felt like forever, not that I was complaining, and I swore everything in my life was leading up to this very moment, I felt as if I found my missing puzzle piece.

“Betty, Archie, Veronica, you all owe me $20!” Cheryl yelled, causing both me and Jug to jump and see her looking happily at us. “Finally, you two are together! I was honestly about to rig a game of spin the bottle orseven minutes in heaven to get you two to admit your feelings and makeout or something, but it doesn’t seem to look like I need to anymore!” I blushed and Cheryl walked over to us. “I wish you two years of happiness,” she started, and then faced only Jughead. “And just so you know, if you hurt her, don’t expect to get her back after you two break up, if it doesn’t work out, I want my turn with the beautiful Y/N.” she said, turning to me and winking. She exited the room, and I heard as Betty, Archie and Veronica excitedly talked over what Cheryl just witnessed, and then we heard Reggie join in.

“Well, that was unexpected.” I said, and Juggie laughed, agreeing with me.

“Yes it was, but don’t worry, I don’t plan on giving you up any time soon.” he said, and I blushed, leaning in to peck him on the lips.

“Best birthday present ever, finding out the love of my life actually loves me back.” I mumble, and Jughead cleared his throat.

“Actually, I got you something else for your birthday. You know, other than my love.” He joked, and I looked at him adoringly.

“You didn’t have to do that, Jug!” I said, but he waved it off and took a small box out of his back pocket, handing it to me. I looked at him and then the box, opening it up slowly. Inside was a charm bracelet with a crown, cheeseburger, snake, book, and a heart with his initials on one side and mine on the other. He took a boyish chain necklace out of his shirt, and I saw the same heart charm that was on my bracelet also adored his necklace, and I smiled, coming close to tears.

“I wasn’t going to get us friendship bracelets, because honestly Reggie just stopped teasing me recently, and I don’t feel like having him come back to it, but I thought you’d appreciate a bracelet.” he said somewhat shyly, and I giggled, taking it out of the box and putting it on.

“It’s beautiful Jughead, thank you.” I said, and he nodded his head, wrapping his arm around me waist.

“Shall we go party, birthday girl?” He asked.

“I thought you hated parties.” I said, and he rolled his eyes playfully.

“Pshh, I’ll make an exception if it means I get to dance with the prettiest girl here.” He said, pulling me to the living room, but not before I grabbed my drink. This definitely was the best birthday ever, my best friends were here, they weren’t playing shitty music, and I finally had the one I loved so much to myself. As we walked into the living room, everyone went silent, and Betty, Polly, Veronica and Cheryl all stood holding a large cake with 16 candles on it, and Josie, Melody, and Valarie started playing 'Happy Birthday.’ I smiled big, and everyone in the room started singing to me.

Happy Birthday To You!

Happy Birthday To You!

Happy Birthday Dear Y/N!

Happy Birthday To You!

Everyone in the room started to cheer, and all the sudden, started by Archie, Reggie, and the football team, everyone started chanting 'make a wish! Make a wish!’ I looked around the room, and my heart was overcome with love.

“I don’t have any, everything I’ve ever wanted is right here in this room.” I said, and the room erupted in 'awes’ and claps. I blew out the candles, and everyone cheered. Who needed my blood family, I have my real family right here.

Creepypasta #1103: I Had A Friend Who Lived In The Air Vents

Length: Super long

When you’re a little kid, you do some strange stuff to get attention. Especially when you’re an only child and then poof, you’re not. You’re getting the “little brother or sister” pep talk from Mom and Dad and everything changes. You’re used to being the center of their world, being told you’re the most special little girl, but as Mom’s belly gets bigger and bigger and Dad’s patience with you gets smaller and smaller you realize it’s not going to go back the way it was. Not ever.

That’s what happened to me when I was seven, anyway. I was the kind of kid that needs a lot of attention. I hadn’t had to try hard for seven years, I’d been coasting on my parents’ single-minded doting. But pretty soon I noticed some small differences; they were less interested in what I’d done in school that day, more interested in getting ready for my new little brother or sister.

I was like an alcoholic without a bottle. You feel fine at first but soon the tremors set in and you realize you just needit, you know? You need their eyes on you, loving you, reminding you that you’re the most special little girl in the whole wide world, maybe the only special little girl.

So in the last month or so before the baby came, I got creative.

“I made a new friend!” I told them one night at dinner.

“At school, sweetheart?” Mom asked.

“No!” I was fidgety, excited, twitching in my seat when they both looked at me with rapt attention from across the table. Time to launch my plan into action. “He lives in the air vents! His name is Marty and he’s MAGIC.”

“Oh,” said my Dad, and he smiled a little. “That’s fun. Eat your peas, Rosie.”

And that was it. That was IT! I’d just told them that Magic Marty lived in our air vents and all I got was ‘that’s fun?’ And what’s worse, they went back to talking about the BABY — I always heard that word with an ominous sort of importance — and whether they thought the nursery could be painted over the weekend or not.

I stewed and pushed peas around my plate. I knew I was going to think of something better. Something to make them ask me questions about Marty, about me, like they used to.

Stupid BABY. I didn’t care if it was a brother or a sister. It was a pain before it even got here.

Over time, I came up with new tidbits about Magic Marty and how amazing he was. He only ate jellybeans! He could move things with his mind! He had a cat named Baseball and he was my VERY best friend!

Arranged Marriage

[ Drama AU ]

“Marriage!” You shouted at the top of your lungs. “You’re going to sacrifice my happiness for yours? I mean seriously” you scoffed. “Marrying your one and only daughter for money. It’s like I’m in a drama, a poorly written one at that.”

Your parents looked at you with concern. They would be bankrupt by the end of the year if they don’t gain the backing of a strong stockholder soon. Now that they found one they needed you in order for the deal to go through.

Oh joy. Just had to deal with an hour long meltdown from my anxiety-ridden youngest. We had a great night solving puzzles at the museum and swimming at the YMCA, but we had a fight because he refused to walk his dog then threw a paper at me. Which, yeah… I don’t deal well with acts of aggression, so I sent him to his room so we could both cool our tempers… where he promptly skyped his dad to complain about me… which led to his dad saying something about taking me to court so they could live with him.

Holy panic attack, Batman. Q freaked the fuck out about ten minutes after he hung up. He doesn’t even want to spend a weekend with his dad, let alone live with him. His dad is physically aggressive and short tempered and lacks predictable discipline strategies. He yells all the time. We’ve had conversations, the three of us, about how scared Q gets when my ex loses his temper, and how it makes him not ever want to visit. My ex is almost six feet tall, 350 pounds, and terrifying to my little 10 year old.

Whyyyyyyyyy.

We talked, and I calmed him down, and Q decided he’s going to stop complaining to his dad and start writing in his journal instead. I told him that’s fine, though he could call Grandma too if he wanted to vent. Which, everyone vents about their parents, so it’s fine. I told him I’m not mad, and if he actually wants to live with his Dad, I would not be mad about that either. But he said the kid equivalent of hell no, and that was that.

Sheesh. Parenting.

i wish someone cared. like really cared. i go through every day in this constant numb and sad state. i have no interest in life and i care about nothing. people can see it. i know my parents see it. i know my teachers see it….but why doesn’t anybody say anything? it’s messed up that people can see someone struggling so much but yet look the other way and pretend it isn’t happening. one day it’s going to be too late. i’ve thought about going to a teacher and talking to them about stuff but do they even care? i’m so alone and lost and confused and i have no idea what to do. i’m stuck.

Ship: Jared Kleinman x Reader

Requested: yes!!!!!

Warnings: cursing, fluff(!!!)

Word Count: 965

“YOU HAD THE FUCKING BEE MOVIE, AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME!” You scream as you grabbed the disc case and shove it in Jared’s face annoyingly.

“Well you didn’t let me finish saying what fucking movies I had in the first place,” He shot back.

“We’re definitely watching this first,” You demand, placing the disc into the DVD player.

Excitedly, you plopped yourself onto his couch and rushed him to get the popcorn so you can start the movie.

“Alright, alright, I’m not your fucking man servant,” He joked.

“Whatever you say, Kleinman” You laughed, wearing a smirk on your face.

He finally came back, and you were then able to press play. That’s when Mr. I Can’t Shut My Mouth started babbling on about every flaw he found in the damn movie.

“Look at his wardrobe, it’s basically like Evan’s. It’s all the same shit!” He complained.

You roll your eyes, expecting him to shut up for a few minutes. But of course, he continued.

“I wish my parents were as proud as Barry’s parents when I show them my report card,” He said.

“Can you hush, the movie has only been playing for like 3 minutes and you’re already blabbing,” You say in attempt to get him to comment less about your favorite meme movie.

To no avail, he persisted to review every frame of the fucking film. You didn’t seem to care about it so much, but in the inside you were raging and ready to choke a bitch if you needed too. Taking a deep breath, you stood up and practically ran to the movie cabinet to pull out another one. Immediately after opening, you had struck gold. As a result you gasped loudly.

“What’d you find, Y/N/N?” He questioned obnoxiously as he made his way behind you.

Rolling your eyes, you turned around to show him the movie, only to bump into him because of the fact he stood a lot closer than you had expected. Out of nervousness, you try and laugh it off, and he seems to be doing the same as he backs up a little. He got a good look at the movie and chuckled.

“Let’s fucking do this,” He said in between laughs.

You slid gracefully over to the DVD player and placed in the treasure you had found, Shrek. Something you didn’t notice though was that every time you stood up to do something, his eyes were glued onto you, taking in every inch of your body; That is, until you turned around and caught him looking at you.

“You ok there Kleinman?” You asked as you went back to you’re seat on the couch.

“Never been better,” He simply replied, tension reminiscent in the air. You sat there silently as you nodded in confusion, and then hit play to begin the movie. Once it began, he went back to being his loud-mouth-self. Towards the start of the movie, all you could manage to do was roll your eyes every time he made a remark. But if you were honest, you thought him singing along to “All Star” was the funniest thing.

But then it came to a point where this fucking kid would not stop talking, not even to take a breather. He kept babbling on, and laughing at his own jokes like it was the funniest he had ever heard.

If this motherfucker does not shut up, I swear…

“Did you just hear Shrek say the word as-“ He began, but was quickly interrupted by you pulling on his collar, and plopping a kiss onto his lips. You lingered for about a few second before pulling back, an upset look on your face.

“You got to learn how to shut the fuck up sometimes, Kleinman. You were getting on my fucking nerves,” You attempted to say in an aggressive manner, but your red face didn’t help.

Jared, who was still shocked by what just happened, was as red as a cherry tomato. It took him a few seconds to come back to reality, but only to say

“Well, if I continue talking, will you have to teach me a lesson again?” He questioned smugly, inching his way closer to you.

“Oh, fuck off!” You laughed, shoving him away. But as you did, he took your arm and pulled you closer to him, and he chuckled.

“You push, I pull. Two can play that game,” He said, then holding you in a warm embrace, peppering your face with kisses. You giggled at his affection, thinking of how you never expected things to end up as they did. And how basically this was all your fault.

Yeah, he wouldn’t stop talking, but now that you two were cuddling, you tolerated it.

“I honestly ship the dragon and donk-,” He began once again, and you decided to be funny and interrupt him.

“I just fell asleep,” You say, concealing your laughs.

He turns to you with surprised look written all over his face.

That made you fall asleep? Well, I know something that will wake you up,” He said with a sly smirk.

He brought his face to yours and kissed you softly, but without warning, he started to tickle your sides. You began to cackle and squirm, and he laughed along with you.

“OK, ok fine, I love your commentary, I don’t know what I’d do without it,” You admitted sarcastically, earning a smile from Kleinman.

“That’s what I thought,” He said, pulling you closer.

Throughout the night, you watched more movies, and eventually fell asleep in each others arms. And you wouldn’t have change it for the world.

What exactly is there for you to say? For him to say? Realistically, you shouldn’t have agreed to this talk. Him lying to his fiance that he’ll be out late and to not wait up for him. You kissing Chanyeol on the cheek and tell him you had a great time tonight and can’t wait to see him again when in reality you’re letting his best friend somehow persuade you back to your hotel because the only man you can think about is Baekhyun. At this point you don’t know who’s worse; you or Baekhyun.

Prompt: What would have happened if Mama Bakkoush hadn't interrupted Yousana's goodbye

“What was I going to say?” Yousef said, his brow dipping some as he searched for the words, any words, that would prolong the evening. He wasn’t ready for it to end. Wasn’t ready to have to wait for the next time he could steal a few moments with this girl, this magnificent girl. Afraid that those moments may never come.

The street lights danced on the amber hues in Sana’s eyes and her full lips spread into a beaming smile, complete with those dimples he yearned to press his own lips to. “Uh, I don’t know,” she said with a soft laugh that gave life to the butterflies that had taken up residence in this stomach.

“Well, it was something. Definitely something,” Yousef replied, mirroring her smile. They’d conversed with such ease all day. It had seemed to come so naturally to them. Why did he feel so unsure of himself now?

“I guess it couldn’t have been important or else you wouldn’t have forgotten so easily,” Sana teased, that smile taking on more of a playful smirk. His eyes fell to the way the corner of her lips quirked upwards. Right now Yousef didn’t even want to kiss them, he wanted to reach out and feel that curve with his finger tips. His hands balled into fists instead and he felt the bite of his blunt nails against his palms.

“Hm, I guess my mind was distracted by other things,” Yousef said, his dark eyes burning with an intensity that ignited flames on Sana’s cheeks as heat rose there. Her eyes avoided his for a second but that beautiful smile didn’t waver.

“Distracted, huh?” Sana replied, her eyes once more meeting his as she raised a curious brow. “What things?”

Yousef’s hands slid into his pockets, the war between his head and heart becoming all the more difficult as they stood there. He didn’t trust himself not to reach for her, felt like it might come to him like the most natural thing in the world. Yousef watched Sana’s eyes follow the movement and he wondered if she knew.

Yousef wasn’t ready to lay all his cards on the table, so he hedged his bets. “Beautiful things,” he said, hoping she’d catch his meaning without him having to say it out loud. Yousef watched as the smile upon her lips spread and gave way to her dimples again and he figured she knew. He couldn’t see the blush on her cheeks but he was pretty sure it was there none the less.

They stood, quietly regarding each other for a little while longer before a car door shutting down the street broke the moment. Sana visibly flinched, glancing towards her house. Maybe Yousef should have been worried about the impression they may have given if Sana’s parents caught them, especially after the vodka incident, but he couldn’t muster the care. Not for himself anyway. He did, however, eventually manage to care about what it might mean for Sana. So as much as he wished the evening could continue, even if it was just them standing around trying to put off saying goodbye, he knew that bye had to come sooner rather than later.

“So uh,” Yousef said, then paused, his brows drawing together. “I guess this is goodbye then? It’s pretty late and-”

“Yeah,” Sana replied before letting Yousef finish. “The last thing I want is for one of my parents to see us and have to explain why I’m standing out here with you and where Elias is. I’ll leave that to him when he gets home.”

Sana’s own brow creased as she thought of her brother, wondering how he was and more importantly why he’d let himself get in that state. She’d truly believed she was telling the truth when she’d told her mum that Elias wasn’t drinking. Sana hated the fact he’d made a liar out of her but mostly she was just worried about him.

“He’ll be fine. He just needs to sleep it off. Don’t worry,” Yousef said, as if reading her mind.

“Yeah, I know,” Sana replied but she wasn’t completely convinced. There was too much she didn’t know about what had happened and she wouldn’t feel better until she discussed it with Elias.

“Anyway, thanks for walking me home and the… um, detour?” Sana said with a small laugh. They really had lost track of time.

“You’re welcome. Maybe we can do it again some time?” Yousef’s eyes flickered away, uncertainty written over his handsome features. The last thing he wanted to do was push his luck. This whole night hadn’t been planned and it was a different thing taking the advantage of the opportunity to hang out and actually planning it. He feared the latter would be too much for Sana. If the awkward silence was anything to go by, he was right. “Eh, you’re right. Probably for the best if we don’t. I’m not sure my ego could stand being beaten like that again.”  Youself filled the silence, figuring a joke about basketball was a safe bet. The smile that rose to Sana’s lips told him he’d been correct.

“We’ll see. You get some practice in and we’ll see.”

With that, Sana turned and walked up the steps to her house. Reaching the door, she glanced over her shoulder and smiled at Yousef. He smiled back and gave her a small wink before she disappeared into the house. Yousef stood for a moment longer, an unchecked grin on his face. God, he was in trouble.

Never Have I Ever (Kylux single dad/hot teacher AU)

1500  /  T  /  silly modern AU one-shot

Ben and Hux get drunk and play Never Have I Ever. Other fics in this verse are here

Ben cracks the tops off two bottles of Sam Adams and puts one on the table in front of Hux. The other he slides across the table in front of his seat. The lights are low, just the cheap bulb over the kitchen stove casting sickly orange light through half the apartment.

“Alright, no excuses, no wussing out. We do this like men.”

“Damn right,” Hux agrees, clinking bottles with a frown that’s too serious to be sincere.

“Hey, this is serious. Have you played before?”

“Not personally, but I’m familiar with the concept.”

“We should have more people, but whatever. We can do it with two. I’ll go first.” He eyeballs Hux from across the kitchen table. They’re a bottle of wine deep already, and Ben got the brunt of that because Hux is a damn lightweight. Personally, he’s not drunk yet, but he’s on the right track. It’s been long enough that the looseness in his limbs, the pleasant haze over everything is actually fun. Or maybe that’s just the company. It’s a quarter-after ten. If he was out with any of his old friends they’d all probably be hammered and obnoxious already. Something would be broken, but he’d be too shit-faced to care.

It’s just him and Hux tonight, which is… new. Different, but good. Rey is spending the weekend fishing with her grandfather on his boat, and she’d been a hell of a lot more excited about it than Ben ever was at her age.

“Well?” Hux prompts, loose and easy.

In the end, he lowballs it.

“Never have I ever… been to France.”

Hux considers.

“I drink if I have-”

“-have done it, yeah.” Ben agrees.

“Right.” Hux pauses, the bottle in his hand. “How do you know I’m not lying?”

“Because lying on ‘never have I ever’ is like lying to your dying grandmother. It’s the worst thing you could possibly do aside from… I don’t know, square dancing.”

“That bad?”

“Hey, relationships are made on this game.”

The r-word sort of floats, awkwardly between them and Ben suddenly wishes he could take it back.

They weren’t dating.

Hux had been really clear on that. Not while Rey was his student and Ben was her dad and it was all in this weird gray area of ‘unprofessional conduct.’

But while ‘not dating’ didn’t come with any of the usual fun naked benefits that came with dating, it sure did include a lot of Hux hanging out at his house, and going with him and Rey to the park, and sometimes, after Rey was asleep, pulling his knees up on the couch and curling into Ben’s side while they watched a movie.

And, apparently, getting buzzed on cheap wine and biting his lip in a really distracting way while they played ‘never have I ever’ alone in Ben’s apartment on a Saturday night.

“Never been to France, no.” There’s a sly smile.

He  looks warm and just a little soft around the edges, with the first two buttons of his collar undone and a little bit of pink on his cheeks, but his pale eyes are still sharp and his hands are steady as he picks at the label of the beer bottle. Every now and then his tongue flashes out, chasing the faint taste of grocery store wine on his lips, and Ben’s gaze flicks to it every time like a guilty secret.

Ben hasn’t been this excited for the end of the school year since he was a kid.

“Alright, your turn,” Ben says.

“Never have I ever,” Hux begins slowly, considering, “Kissed a woman.”

A gut laugh is punched out of him. He doesn’t even know why he’s surprised. Of course Hux played to win. “Oh, that’s how it is, huh?”

Hux’s smile becomes a full-blown smirk. “That’s how it is.”

Ben tips the bottle back, grinning, “You’re such a jerk.”

“Don’t be a sore loser when I win.”

“Well, it that’s the way you want it- never have I ever been to college.”

“Oh now that’s just low-” Hux protests.

“Uh-huh.What’s the matter, you can dish it out but you can’t take it? Drink up. Go on mister ‘masters in education’.”

It’s the last one Ben gets in for a while. Hux hasn’t done anything. Meanwhile, the jerk rallies quick, hitting back with never have I ever ‘gotten a tattoo’ and ‘gotten arrested’.

“Okay, that’s just- that’s not even fair,” Ben complains.

A crooked flash of slightly-uneven teeth. “You’re the one who wanted to play.”

On his fourth beer and Hux’s second, Ben finally manages to get him with, “Never have I ever broken a bone,” and he’s not counting his nose because he’s desperate.

Hux drinks, lips wrapped around the bottle, throat exposed, and it hits Ben all at once how drunk he’s getting because that was… really distracting.

“You go,” Ben says, waving a hand like he can brush away his lapse of concentration.

“I don’t know,” Hux sighs, gesturing clumsily with the bottle as he sits it down. “Never have I ever… cheated on a partner.”

“Hah! Me neither.” Ben says, triumphant. “I may be a fuckup, but I’m a monogamous fuckup, thank you very much.”

“You’re not a fuckup, Ben. No- no- Shush. Shh. You’re not. I wish half my parents cared as much as you do, you’re not- you just keep trying even when things don’t… I have a lot of respect for that. For you.” He hides his sudden embarrassment behind a drink, tapping on his sternum and clearing his throat.

“Thanks, Armitage.” Ben doesn’t often use Hux’s first name, just because it feels weird, but this seems like a good time for it. The tips of his ears are faintly warm.

Somewhere behind Hux, the fridge kicks on with a low rattle.

“Whose turn is it now? Isit- is it my turn?”

Ben takes in the pink flush on his cheeks, the edge of a slur in his voice, “Okay, how are you winning and you’re still drunker than me?”

“Well it’s not like I do this often.”

“You know,” Ben muses, fighting a smile, “You kinda start to sound like that guy from Mary Poppins when you’re drunk.”

Hux’s face is a perfect picture of outrage. “Oi-” a thump, and a bony foot connects with Ben’s shin under the table, and he laughs. “Fuck you.”

“Uh-oh, someone said a bad word.”

“You- you shut up. Go on, your turn. Go.” The nearly empty beer clatters on the table as Hux tries to use it as a prop to gesture with. “Arse.”

“Never have I ever had a threesome,” Ben shrugs. He can’t think of anything else, not with the way Hux is slouched in his seat, soft and easy and distracting. His normally-gelled hair is loose and limp. There’s a piece of it hanging his eyes and Ben has the worst urge to reach across the table and tuck it back behind his ear. He likes Hux’s eyes. They remind him of being out on his dad’s boat as a kid, and the shallows where the ocean is green one second and blue the next and you can just sit there watching it, trying to catch the point where it changes but never ever managing it.

He really wishes Hux wasn’t drunk, because he’d love to find out if ‘not-dating’ included kissing.

“Oh are we getting to the sexy ones now? Took you long enough.”

“What?” Ben laughs.

“I thought that was the whole point of this- thing. Game. Get everyone drunk and talk about sex.”

“…Well you’re not wrong, but that wasn’t really my plan here.” It sounds weak, but it’s true.

“Mm-hmm. My turn- never have I ever,” and okay, the way Hux draws out his ‘r’s when he’s drunk really shouldn’t be allowed. “Had sex at a school.”

Ben almost feels good about himself for half a second, and then pauses, hand halfway to his beer. “Shit, wait are we counting handjobs here?”

The offended look on Hux’s face makes him feel like he’s sixteen and getting caught feeling up Mark Evers in the boys locker room again. “Ben Solo. You awful pervert!”

“It was high school! Come on, finding places to fuck in high school is practically an elective. Everyone did it.”

“I didn’t.”

“That’s because you were one of those good kids.”

Hux huffs. “No, it’s because my father would have murdered me and buried me under the track field. Do you have any idea how impossible it is to get away with anything when your father is the principal of your school?”

“Your dad was your principal? Shit.”

“And the headmaster of my primary, before we moved here.”

“Ouch. That explains a lot.”

“Doesn’t it?” Hux pulls a beleaguered face. “Your turn.”

“Okay,” Ben thinks, rolling the bottle back and forth idly between his palms, “Never have I ever sucked my own dick.”

He only said it to make Hux sputter, so Ben nearly chokes when Hux blushes crimson instead and tries to sneak a surreptitious drink.

“Wait, what?” Ben cackles. “Oh my god. What?”

“I was fourteen and flexible, alright? I can’t still do it,” Hux mutters.

“Shit, have you tried?”

“It was one time at camp. Oh, god…” His head drops to the table, burying his face in the backs of his arms.

“What the hell kind of summer camp did you go to?” Ben is wheezing hard enough that his core aches.

Laughter is contagious and Hux erupts into stifled little giggles, his shoulders shaking “…chess camp.”

THE PROJECT – TONY STARK

Everyone knew Tony spent a lot of time in the labs, working on several projects at once, not sleeping, barely eating and living a life that wasn’t healthy at all. Almost everyone in the team judged him and didn’t understand why he was doing it. There were two people who did – Bruce and me.

After Bruce decided to left, Tony was most of the time alone, hidden in the labs and working. He was making better suit for us, making them a better than they already were. He always wanted the best for the team and yet, no one understood that. They judged him for the things he did even when they were doing the same thing. Everyone was fucked up in some way, but somehow they always pointed at him, even when they were no better. I was sick and tired of them and so was Tony.

Was supposed to post these earlier today but I ended up falling asleep. But I drew me and @astro-princey because it’s his birthday!! Just gonna go on a bit about why I love Princey so much.

I’ve really only know Princey for a month and a half about? And in that time he has just made my life 10 million times better. He just someone I can talk to about anything. And I just always appreciate that in him.

He is also, like, INSANELY TALENTED!! He is an amazing writer, singer, and artist. He just always has great ideas for stories and I just love to re-read a lot of his stories!! And his singing… my god it’s beautiful in every way. It just carries a lot emotion, especially when he sings Words Fail, he really makes a good JD as well!! And his drawings are super fun! He has an art blog (that I just always forget the name of, I’ll edit this when I remember) that doesn’t have a lot but the stuff he does have is super good! And his livestream that he did with him drawing was tons of fun too.

I know Princey doesn’t have the greatest life, and not a lot of us do. But I think he does deserve the greatest days ahead of him. He deserves the world really. With how kind and humble he is. He is also super wise beyond his years (heisalsoreallynicetolookatCOUGH).

I know I’m saying all these great (and true) things about him. But everyone has flaws, and we should know that Princey has them. But those flaws make him who he is. The most wonderful, caring, handsome, trustworthy guy I’ve ever met.

Happy birthday Princey!!! I love you with all my heart!!

All this, while trying to solve the mystery of why Hydra is now hunting her.

Warnings: This chapter: Mention of death

Characters: This chapter: Tony Stark (sorry Bucky will appear next chapter)

Monday, May 22 started out as a boring, normal Monday. My fiance, Evan, rushed out the door on his way to his computer programming job. I lazily stumbled out of bed shortly after he hastily kissed me goodbye. Breakfast, coffee. I finally plopped down in front of my computer, ready to edit all the photos from the wedding I shot last weekend.

A few hours later, I was satisfied by the amount of work I’d gotten done and was craving a snack. Just as I was about to get up, my phone rang with Evan’s name appearing on the screen.

“Hey sweetie” I cooed

“Y/N, you have to listen to me. I did something bad and I don’t have a lot of time.” He whispered, his voice in a panic

“Baby, what’s wrong?” I replied, stress appearing in my voice

“We had a client ask us to encrypt some files last week. It seemed like a standard job, but I accidentally dug a little too deep. Their files were filled with terrible things. Weapons capable of more destruction than you can imagine, plans for war and torture. It all pointed to Hydra.”

“Hydra? I thought when Shield fell, they fell with them?” I said, remembering the terror a few years ago when helicariers rained down in D.C.

“Apparently not” his words were more hushed, more urgent

He continued

“I knew I had to alert someone to what I was seeing, but who could ever take them down? I put all the info on a hard drive and hid it. I was hoping I could find a way to get in touch with Tony Stark, but his office wouldn’t even hear me out.”

“Where did you hide it?” I asked

“Listen to me very carefully…”

He stopped, his voice trailed off

Then I heard bangs, screams, gunshots.

“They’re here!” Evan shouted

The line went dead.

“Evan?! EVAN!” I screamed into the phone, but I knew it was too late.

He was gone.

I paced the room in a panic. What did I do now? Did I call the police? If Evan was right and this was Hydra, what could the Chicago Police Department possibly do now?

I paced for twenty more minutes. Crying. Screaming. The realization that Evan was gone began to stab my heart like a knife.

A knock on the door of my apartment snapped me out of my panic.

I peered through the peephole. If it was Hydra, here to find the hard drive and take me out too, there was no point in checking who it was. They’d break down the door anyway.

Much to my surprise, it was not Hydra.

Tony Stark, at least a dozen SWAT guys in full tactical gear, and 5 police officers stood outside my door.

I creaked it open, wiping the tears off my face.

“Ms. Y/N?” Tony asked softly

“What happened to him?” I spat back. Suddenly I was angry, very angry. After all, if Stark’s team had taken Evan seriously, they might have saved his life.

“May we come in?”

I glanced around my tiny apartment.

“There isn’t enough room for all of you.”

“That’s okay, we’ll leave half of them out here to stand guard.” Tony nodded his head to the team around him and they shuffled and rearranged.

I held the door open, letting them in.

Tony stared at you for a few moments, then spoke.

“Ms. Y/N, I apologize that I have to be the on to tell you this, but your fiance has died in a Hydra led assault on his office. We believe they chose to target him because he had stolen information from them.”

He tried to continue, but I cut him off.

“I don’t know where the hard drive is.”

He let out a sigh

“We were afraid of that.”

He leaned on the counter of the kitchen.

“We believe” he continued, “Hydra thinks he passed the drive on to you.”

“I just found out about it less than an hour ago. He called me right before he died. He knew they were coming for him.” I could feel the tears welling up again.

“Right” Tony‘s face got very serious “but they don’t know that. They’re coming for you. Soon. We’re here to get you out.”

“Where will I go?”

“The world security council, the secretary of state, and myself believe you will be safest staying at the Avengers Compound.”

He read the panic on my face.

“Just until we get these guys, find the drive, and can ensure your safety.”

“What, you don’t have some off the grid safe house in the middle of nowhere to put me?”

I wanted nothing more than to be alone right now.

“We do, but these guys will find you anyway. If you come to the compound, you’ll be surrounded by at least 3 Avengers at all times and a team of former Shield, Seal, FBI and other agents who are now working for the Avengers.”

I pondered it for a moment.

“You’ll be protected.” He reached his hand out and put it on my shoulder

“How do I know I can trust you?” I asked. Tears now rolling down my face.

“You don’t, but I’m your only option.” He replied

“Okay… I’ll go.”

“Great. We’ve got about a half an hour until the baddies figure out who at Evan’s firm pulled their files and when they do, they’ll be here… So, get packing.”

“How long do you think I’ll be gone?” I asked, still frozen in place

“I wish I knew.” Tony replied “Hydra is very good at staying buried. It could be months.”

Months?! My mind began to race.

“Burt and Ernie over here can help you get your stuff together.” He said, gesturing to the two officers in the room.

“And I suggest you take anything you don’t want Hydra to destroy. They’ll get pretty thorough when they come looking for that drive.” He glanced around, gesturing to my bookshelf in the living room, full of books and knickknacks.

I began to run around, thinking of things to take. My camera equipment was obvious. Clothes, shoes, and the trunk. THE TRUNK! My grandfather’s army trunk sat under the window in the bedroom, holding spare blankets and sheets. It was my most prized possession and it would be perfect to throw everything into.

“What can we help you with ma'am?” One of the officers asked

“Can you help me get my trunk in here? Pull everything out of it and I’ll start running around and dumping the stuff I’m taking on the couch. Just fold everything and pack it nice for me okay?” They nodded, following me to the bedroom

I had to nudge a SWAT guy out of they way to get to the trunk, his gun pointing out the window, his eyes on alert.

The officers carried my trunk back into the living room and I raced to the closet. Pulling clothes off hangers and out of drawers, I scooped them up to carry them and dump them on the couch. Next was my camera, my favorite lenses, my laptop. I made a few more trips from the bedroom, bathroom, and closet until the trunk was almost bursting. Hydra was not gonna ruin my favorite shit. I ran back to the closet one last time, making sure I didn’t miss a thing. Hanging in the back, the white garment bag stood out, bringing back the stabbing feeling in my chest.

It was my wedding dress. The dress I was supposed to wear when I married Evan in a few months. I stared at it for a few moments, suddenly very aware of the giant diamond ring also tightening around my finger. I couldn’t bear to wear it now.

“Time to go.” Tony poked his head in

In a flash decision, I grabbed a necklace chain from my dresser, put the ring on it, and hooked it around my neck. I pulled the garment bag off the rod. I knew that I wouldn’t be wearing it anymore, but I couldn’t bear to leave it behind for Hydra to tear apart.

I sauntered back into the living room, handing the officers the bag so they could close the trunk.

The SWAT guy in my bedroom bent his head down to the radio on his shoulder.

“All clear?”

“All clear.”

The the SWAT guys flanked my sides, while Tony and the officers with my trunk trailed behind us. No point in locking my door.

We trooped down the stairs and into the lobby of my building. We stepped outside, where the sun hit my face. There was a helicopter in the street waiting for us.

Tony helped me inside as the officers slid my trunk in. We rose in the air and I took one last look at the life I was leaving behind.

——————————————————————–

I stared out the window. I used to be so afraid of flying in airplanes. Evan had once suggested we take a helicopter tour of the city. He didn’t even get the whole sentence out before I rushed to hide under some blankets, terrified of the prospect. Now I felt nothing. I played with the ring tied around my neck.

“I’m very sorry.” Tony said softly “I lost my family to Hydra too.”

“Your girl?” I asked

“No, my parents.” He replied

Parents!

“My parents!” I exclaimed

“They’re fine!” He assured me “We have a tactical team watching their house, as well as Evan’s parents. Though we don’t think Hydra will go after them. We didn’t tell them they’re being watched though, or what heppend to you and Evan.”

I sighed in relief

“What did you tell them?”

“That you decided to go into the Loop to take some photos, so Evan drove the two of you down in his car, instead of taking the bus. You got into an accident. Evan didn’t make it. You’re in a coma.”

“And my parents aren’t going to come visit me?”

“Quarantine. Intensive care. High risk of infection. Don’t worry, we have a fake in a room at the hospital just in case they do try to drop by. Too mangled to be recognized as you though”

It was good story and one that would put their minds more at ease than Hydra assassins chasing me.

“So you really don’t know where the drive is?” Tony changed the subject

“No idea” I shrugged “I wish I knew, I wish I could help, but Evan was so smart. Much smarter than me and wherever he hid it, it’s gotta be somewhere really good. He was a programmer; a puzzle making and solving kind of guy. Wherever it is, it’s safe. Whatever plans Hydra had in there, they won’t be getting them back anytime soon.”

“Finding this could really give the good guys an advantage at taking Hydra down once and for all.” He implored

“I know and I’ll do everything I can to help you guys hunt it down. Any info you need about him or his life that might provide a hint, I’ll give. But right now my brain can barely function.”

The tears started flowing again and I suddenly realized how exhausted I was.

“I know. We’re almost there. We’ll get you settled, then get you some rest. We’ll talk more later.” He patted my knee

The rest of the trip was spent in silence.

A/N: This is my first time writing fiction in over 10 years (I’m old. It was Harry Potter fan fiction when I was a teenager. Don’t ask.) so I really hope you like it! Also, don’t worry Bucky will appear next chapter. I have a feeling this one will be a long one.

Pack Mom - Part 1

Request//  Imagine being the pack mom????

A/N// Thank you for this request, we have been looking forward to writing this for ages, so we are going to separate it up into different parts.

Part 1  Part 2   Part 3  Part 4  Part 5  Part 6  Part 7  Part 8  Part 9   Part 10   Part 11  Part 12  Part 13 Part 14

Ever since I started dating Derek, I started to become like a mom to the pack. They would always come to me when they needed help or someone to talk to. But I was more close to Liam. I didn’t know if it was just that he was just the youngest in the pack, so I felt like it was my job to protect him and that he got thrown into all this supernatural crap only a week and a half ago, or it was something else. But no matter what.I would be there for each and every one of them.

Today Derek and I had the pack come to the loft after school, so they could have a pack meeting, we all need to talk about the new threat in beacon hills. When I moved in with Derek I demanded that he goes out and buys some more furniture, just like some sofas and chairs so the pack have somewhere to sit during pack meetings and also some tables and chairs for the kitchen.

While I was waiting for school to finish I decided to clean up, make the loft look better, whilst Derek was out getting food and snacks for tonight.

I was nearly done when I heard the loft door open. It was Derek. His hands full of bags filled with a variety of snacks and drinks.

“Hi babe, did you get enough food?” I said sarcastically

“Hey and yeah I think I went a little overboard, but this is not all for tonight, it’s for the week.” Derek laughed

“Ohh right, well go and put it all away, and hide the good stuff so them lot don’t eat it” I joked

Derek did as I said, and then he walked over to me and pulled and me into his embrace, the loft door slid open, Scott, Stiles, Malia, Lydia, Kira and Liam, who looked like something was really bothering him, Walked in. Everybody took a seat on one of the sofa’s, but before Liam could sit down I pulled him into the kitchen.

When I got in the kitchen I pulled the young beta into a hug.

“Liam Hun, what’s up?” I asked

“It’s nothing Y/N” He answered, I let Liam go, to look at him.

“Li, I may not be a werewolf, but I don’t have to be to know that you are lying to me, so come on sweetheart just tell me what’s up” I inquired.

“It’s just..” Liam began but stopped.

“Come on, Just what Li?” I said.

“It’s Just that I have been fighting with my parents for the past week,I hate going home because I know there will just be another argument, I hate going home everyday,” he told me.

“Liam why didn’t you tell me? You know you could have told me at any point you don’t have to keep things from me” I said, whilst pulling him into another hug.

“I didn’t want to put my problems on you, their my problems not yours,” Liam said.

“Sweetie look at me,your problems are my problems to, and if I can, I will help you in any way I can, okay?” I told Liam, but then  I wondered why him and his parents were always arguing so you had to ask.

“Li, why are you and your parents arguing anyway?”

“They think my anger is getting much worse, and they don’t like how I hang around with all of you, they said I should hang out with more people my age, but I have Mason, they don’t understand, they don’t understand anything. Half of the time they don’t even care about me and when they do they just argue with me” he explained, then he said something else that I think he didn’t mean to say, because of his reaction.

“I wish you were my Mom”

As soon as Liam said it, his eyes widened and he shot out of the kitchen. It was the first time he had said anything like that before and it warmed my heart, because I was happy, that he feels that way, that he does have someone to go to, even when his actual mom isn’t there for him.

I walked back into the main room and everybody was already was in deep conversation, I had already heard about all this because of Derek telling me each night before we both go sleep.I Sat near Derek and he put his arm around my waist. I listened to everything that the pack had to say, but I couldn’t get what Liam said to me in the Kitchen off my mind “I wish you were my mom”.

The pack meeting ended so Derek and I  decided to let everyone stay a bit long and watch a movie or something. So I ordered in a pizza. Everybody just chilled out and chatted and some of them watched the movie. Halfway through the film, I heard something in the kitchen.

“Oh my god, I love these” Stiles shouted as he came through to everyone.

“Derek I thought I told you to hide the good stuff!” I said

“I did!” Derek exclaimed

“Oh please, can I have them. Please” Stiles begged

“Oh fine go ahead Stiles, knock yourself out,” I said.

I saw Derek walk into the kitchen.I followed him in. I saw that he was taking stuff out of the cupboard to putting them into a different cupboard behind everything.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“These are for us babe not them” He said slightly angry.

“Oh come on babe, you should of know we wouldn’t be able to hide something from them, some of them do have heightened senses” I joked

“Well that’s true, now come here” he told me

He pulled me into his embrace and planted a soft kiss onto my lips.

“What’s up with you?” Derek questioned

“It’s just something Liam said to me” I told him

“Why what has he said to you” He said through gritted teeth.

“Derek I didn’t mean it like that, he said that him and his parents have been fighting this past week and he doesn’t like going home, then he said he wished that I was his mom, Derek he is like a son to me, I don’t want him to feel like, I want him to be happy going home, I want to make sure he feels safe” I said with tears in eyes.

“Baby this is why I love you, you are so caring, well ill tell you what, We can let him stay here for the weekend, we have the spare room what he can stay in, then he can go home and stay with his parents and see how it goes” Derek said

“Oh Derek I love you so much you would really do that?” I said with a smile growing on my face.

“Yeah, well I know how much you see him as a son and how much you love him, and I want to keep you happy to, I don’t want you worrying when he goes and anyway, I’m not going to be here most of the weekend, so I don’t want you to be lonely” Derek explained

“Derek you are the best, I love you so much,” I said whilst Kissing him and Derek pulled me into a bear hug.

Derek and I went into the lounge to everyone, and they informed us that they should be getting off. When they said that I looked at Liam and I saw how upset he was. Everyone was heading to the door but I stopped Liam .I pulled him in the kitchen again.

“Liam, Derek and I have decided that you can stay this weekend, so you can let you parents cool off, so you don’t have to go home to all the arguing this weekend, but you will have to go on Sunday night so you can get up for School okay” I told Liam

“Really, I can stay?” Liam asked

“Yeah, but you have to do your homework tomorrow, then we can just chill, Derek will be out most of the weekend so it is just us two, and Liam what you said before you shot out the kitchen, that you wish that i was you mom, you don’t have to be embarrassed about saying it, Li you are like a son to me too, I love you and I want to make sure the you happy and safe, so please don’t be embarrassed to feel like that, yeah I may not be you actual mom, but I can be supernatural mom” I said pulling him into a hug. Liam looked up at me with the biggest smile on his face.

“Thank you so much mom”
