i wish i knew your names

I’ve always liked this image from the Umbara arc. Rex gives the order to arrest General Krell for treason against the Republic, and Tup is super pissed at everything that’s happened. But that trooper in the background is so ready for it; he’s just like “Bring it on, I’ve been waiting for this since the beginning!”

not sure what time it is in Slovenia but here in the US my clock say’s that it’s officially July 20th which means that it’s your birthday finally!! and what better way to celebrate someones birthday than to draw their OC’s expecting the future Mrs Raphael,I wish I knew their names by the way. Hope you have a great birthday @zivazivc

“I am Native American from the Omaha tribe in Nebraska. My Indian name means ‘shooting star.’ I wish the world knew that we do still exist. And, no, we don’t all live in tepees. When I see people in headdresses or Native American accessories, I feel disrespected. They don’t know the meaning behind it, how we wear it, or what we do to earn it. This is a real eagle feather. It doesn’t just fall off an eagle and someone says, ‘Oh, here — it’s yours.’ You have to earn it in my culture. I feel powerful when I wear it, more confident, and more connected to my ethnicity. I’ve never been embarrassed about being Native American. I take pride in it. I love how spiritual we are — it’s like we’re in tune with the Earth and the universe. I know there’s no other culture out there like mine.”

Before I start this little spiel, I need you all to know: I’m not hating on people who don’t vaccinate their kids, and while I know for a fact BASED ON facts that vaccines don’t cause autism or other “defects”, I’m all for continuing research to make them even better and safer.

But you know what really, really scares me about the anti-vax movement? As a future Public Health Professional, the thing that scares me most about this is the fact that our cultural mindset has become so CHILL about vaccine-preventable/”childhood” diseases that there is even room for such a movement. Let me explain.

Do y’all know what an R0 is? The R-naught, as it is called, is the basic reproduction rate of a disease. It tells you how many new infections can come from one existing infection. For example, an R-naught of 3 (R3) means that, on average, one sick person will infect three other people. Every disease has an R-naught, some greater and some lesser.

Do you remember when everyone was freaking out about Ebola? Everyone was terrified of catching it, because it’s SOOOOO contagious and deadly, right? Ebola has an R-naught of 2. That’s it. R2. One person with Ebola, on average, will get 2 more people sick. And we were freaking out about that.

Well guess what? Measles is the most contagious disease known to mankind, and it has an R-naught of 18. 18. One person with measles will give it to 18 new people, and those people will give it to 18 new people EACH, and so on. That’s what happened with the Disneyland outbreak; it’s so ridiculously contagious that just ONE sick child was enough to start an epidemic.

And yet very few people are as scared of measles as they are of Ebola. Why is that? One reason could be the nature of the disease, sure; Ebola is terrifying in its progression and symptoms. But I would suggest that a major reason is that measles has been so well-contained by vaccination that people no longer fear it. It’s not a part of every-day life anymore; this disease is no big deal because nobody gets it, because so many people are vaccinated against it. Let’s put this another way.

What are the diseases that scare everyone the most: Ebola, HIV/AIDS, and SARS are pretty high on the list of terror diseases. But let’s look at the R0s, shall we: Ebola-R2. HIV/AIDS-R5. SARS-R5.

Now let’s look at diseases that people are voluntarily rejecting vaccinations against: Measles, Pertussis, and Diphtheria are the major ones. Their R0s? Measles-R18. Pertussis-R17. Diptheria-R7.

Everyone focuses on the former set of diseases– rightly so, I suppose– because they’re more dangerous at the present time. What makes them more dangerous? Not their R0; it’s the fact that there is no viable treatment, and NO VACCINE. Seriously, that’s why the medical community is worried about them. There’s no way to treat or PREVENT their spread biologically. Well guess what? There’s no viable treatment for Measles or Pertussis, and only limited treatment options for Diphtheria. That’s why the medical community doesn’t focus on them as much, because we can prevent them at the biological level, safely and effectively.

But now that the Anti-Vax movement has taken hold so firmly, the medical community is now being forced to once more worry about diseases it had almost eradicated. And not only that, it’s endangering herd immunity for the people who can’t receive their own vaccines due to compromised immune systems. I’m allergic to eggs, so I can’t receive the flu shot, but I’m also asthmatic so I can’t get the inhaled vaccine. I rely entirely on the people I associate with to keep me safe from the flu by getting their yearly shot. This made public school a living nightmare, because almost NOBODY got their shot. They caught it, and while it didn’t affect them TOO terribly because they were generally healthy, when I caught it, it was very dangerous because of my asthma. And then there’s that time when I caught the flu, and then right after because of my weakened immune system, I caught Whooping Cough from someone who hadn’t been vaccinated. I HAD been vaccinated, but my body was so fatigued from the flu that it couldn’t keep up with immune demands. And so I caught it.

Have you ever had Pertussis (whooping cough)? It’s hard enough on someone with full lung capacity; it can break ribs, it makes you cough so hard. You cough until there is literally no air in your lungs, and you have to inhale so forcefully it makes the “whooping” sound that gives it the name. It’s painful beyond belief, and it can last for weeks. Some people will survive it. But add that to asthma, or to a young child, or to an elderly person, and you are looking at either permanent damage or death, no exceptions. When I had it, I was about 6 years old, and asthmatic; I spent 81 hours awake because the coughing was so violent I physically couldn’t sleep. I tore abdominal muscles. I vomited during coughing fits and aspirated the vomit. I was actively dying. The doctors could barely suppress the cough enough for me to breathe at all. My inhaler wasn’t helping, none of the cough syrups or breathing treatments were helping; I was getting pneumonia on top of the virus. It was Hell. I was LUCKY that I didn’t die.

Who would wish that on their child? Nobody, I hope. And if you KNEW you could keep your child from ever experiencing that, wouldn’t you do whatever it took to ensure their safety?

Or would you look at the safeguard and say, “Nah. I’ll take my chances with my child’s life.”?

That is what the anti-vax movement is doing. Perhaps not purposefully, but that’s the end result. These aren’t just names on syringes designed to make a child cry; the diseases are real, and real threats to health and life, and the vaccines are how you prevent them. Yet we are so far removed from the impact and effects of these diseases BECAUSE of the peace brought to us BY vaccines that people now feel no qualm about refusing vaccines.

That’s what scares me about the anti-vax movement; people have become so complacent that they no longer worry about these very real, very deadly diseases. They’d rather risk their child’s life than get a shot? The side effects of vaccines are unproven (nonexistent), but the efficacy of vaccines are very much proven.

When the pertussis vaccine first came out, people jumped on it right away. They were so grateful to have it, and for a while everything was smooth sailing, and whooping cough was on the decline. Then, in the 70s, some groups started claiming the pertussis vaccine was causing brain injury in young children. Less than 50 in 15 million cases were reported, but it was enough to scare people away from the vaccine. And children began dying again. It was later discovered that it was NOT the vaccine, but the result of infantile epilepsy, that caused the brain damage. People began once more vaccinating their children, but not before hundreds if not thousands had died.

And that’s what’s happening now. A falsified claim scared just enough people that time-tested, lab-tested, fully-proven, totally safe vaccines are being rejected, and we’re already starting to pay with lives. And I’m scared it’s going to get worse. People don’t really grasp the full import of these diseases and the necessity of the vaccines until they have experienced the disease. I’m scared that it’s going to come down to new epidemics before people will realize the mistake of not vaccinating.

Right now we’re still in the semi-safe zone. Enough of the population is immunized that we could probably keep most pandemics of these diseases at bay. But if this movement keeps gaining momentum, there might come a day when measles and pertussis could once again destroy thousands of people yearly. Imagine if some terrorist group weaponized Ebola and used it against this country; so many people would die, because we have no vaccine for it, no way to prevent it. That is what could happen with diseases like mumps, rubella, measles, pertussis, Diphtheria, and polio. Except it wouldn’t be terrorists using a disease as a weapon; it would be some kid in your child’s class, or your neighbor across the street, or the guy who delivers the mail to your office. That’s how life used to be, and if someone from the pre-vaccine era could see us now, they’d weep for joy at the idea that we can prevent these horrific diseases; and then they’d weep in sorrow at the idea that people are voluntarily turning down that safeguard.

It’s true, vaccines aren’t always 100% effective; I was immunized, but still got Whooping Cough (lowered immune function, if you recall). But you know who didn’t get it? My baby sister. My big sister. My cousins. My mother and father. My classmates, the other kids at my doctor’s office. The nurses at the hospital. The pharmacy workers. Their children. The kids my mom taught at school. All those people were safe because of vaccines. And you know what else? When I was in India, I was exposed to polio. Didn’t get it. Know why? I was vaccinated. I was exposed to chicken pox in 5th grade. One unvaccinated kid got it, and the other 4 kids in our class who weren’t vaccinated got it. But you know who didn’t? The rest of us who WERE vaccinated.

Vaccination may not be perfect, and the only way we will improve them is by continuing research. But the fact remains that as they are now, vaccines cause no lasting side effects (injection site pain goes away), and are extremely effective at preventing dangerous, painful, debilitating, often deadly diseases. Let’s keep researching, yes, but in the mean time, PLEASE vaccinate. It’s not worth your life, or your child’s, or anyone else’s. Vaccines save lives, not destroy them.

Until now your name is a tragically beautiful
taste on my tongue.
A scar on my heart that I’m proud of.
I ignored all the snickers they had about you.
They had no idea about us.
And I somehow wished they knew you like I
did.
For they never understood the wonderful
person I loved deeply.

This love was something the ocean cried for.
It was a song the composer knew by heart.
A poem of a love struck poet.
A singer’s favorite song.
A steady heart that felt like home.

Now the war on our love is over.
Regardless of how this ended.
Thank you for loving me despite that the universe was against us.
I wish you all the love ,even if it’s no longer from me.

I am immensely thankful for the talented people who have created art / edits for this story: x, x, x, x, x, x ♡ also, make sure to read moonlight (drabble from jimin’s pov) and home after rain (short sequel) after reading this story. enjoy!

You were eighteen years old when Jimin’s name showed up on your hand.

The day is fresh and clear in your memory: early December, the winds stronger than ever as they threatened to pierce through the windows of your room, hints of snowflake dancing in the air as the first snowfall augured an even sharper winter. There was a smile on your face that didn’t match the unrelenting coldness of the month, and even though the night was falling and the air felt icy on the tips of your fingers, there was only warmth in your chest as you went through the pictures of your phone.

Pictures of you and Jimin drinking hot chocolate, of clumsy iceskating, of funny faces that made you laugh out loud in the quietness of your bedroom. The feeling sparking in your chest could be considered somewhat dangerous— after all, you were just a girl that didn’t have any marks on her skin, a girl whose fate was yet to be decided. Something as enigmatic as love could be a treacherous thing, too risky for someone that couldn’t decide their destiny on their own.

I wish I had more time with you;
I wish I could remember exactly how you hugged me;
I wish I could remember how it felt to have my arms around your waist, head pressed to your heart;
I wish I could remember the sound of your voice and how you said my name;
I wish I had taken time to savor your sweet aroma;
I wish time would’ve frozen so I could’ve gazed into your eyes and counted every color, memorized every detail of your face;
I wish I could replay it all over again so I could go back and remember every bit of you,
Because it all went by so fast,
It was all just a blur,
I didn’t have time to savor the moment and before I knew it, you were walking away.
I just hope we meet again before I forget you completely.

There is a music box inside of my head that holds our conversations. I open it every now and again, I listen to it every now and then. If you numb away the pain, some day you’ll forget the good feelings too. I just want to forget turns into I’m trying to remember. Which parts of you were my favorite? Was it your soft voice? Or your excuses to try? I think you had the same problems. I think we were the problem. You can’t live with ghosts and claim to be alive. You can’t live with demons and try to find god. You have to give up a piece of yourself to find hope. They say that destruction is just a step towards creation, so if I scratch out all of the names inside of this heart of mine– will I be able to see my own? My footsteps are never big enough to house the promises I’ve been trying to house, and I wish my lips knew more than how to lie– how to sleep without wearing the nightmare of people I broke trying to find the sun. but this is existing, this is opening a heart to see that all the beats were played before I found your name, all the sounds I memorized were just an exercise in waking up alone. I wanted to be softer, but never knew where to place my hands against your chest when it rained. I wanted to be a whisper you could repeat when the only sight were the colors that never quite made a smile. I wanted to be an apology that would never have to see a winter, but it’s easier to be sorry for breaking daylight on your head when the sand filling my lungs has us braided together. I guess I just always want things I don’t believe in– like us. A thousand versions of what could’ve been and we chose the one that cut love thin. A thousand apologies too deep for the ocean, but I’ll always end my nights by seeing your tears fill my eyes. A thousand lovers kiss under the sky, which stars belong to us tonight? A thousand love letters burning with desire, I thought stolen fire gave room for hearts to burst from chests and poetry to crack from bones. A thousand hellos, I replay the day we bumped into each other– it always feels innocent, it always feels sweet. A thousand goodbyes, I repeatedly press pause until the damn thing is broken. A thousand polaroids, but you’re not in a single one. A sigil of roses, a thousand lips surrounding broken hearts still stings less than when we kissed. A mountain of regrets, but I still buried you there. A volcanic beating inside of my veins, I feel the flames engulfing, engulfing. I speak poetry when I feel weak, I speak the truth when I feel blunt– the truth is I still love you, the truth is sometimes I don’t want to love you, the truth is it still hurts, the truth is I’m trying to be okay, the truth is I still miss you like the wings of a caged bird who hasn’t seen the sky in years– born in solitude because I’ve lost you, surrounded by isolated walls of who I used to be, I punch the stars into every night and I make the moon pull my problems away. The truth is even if I fell in love with you another thousand times– it’d always end in the same way and I can’t stand it. So I reach into my soul and break out the purest parts of me and ask for your forgiveness when I can’t speak.

a lesson in love by liionne [3,207]

“You have to go.” Achilles says, and his hands are on Patroclus’ chest, but they aren’t pushing. No- he’s doing a lot of things, but he’s not pushing. He’s memorising the feeling of smooth skin beneath his hands, and he’s counting the pulse that thuds beneath the right, committing that to memory too. He’s feeling the rise and fall of his best friend’s chest - best friend, boyfriend, lover, whatever; they all feel like synonyms now - and he’s meeting those dark brown eyes with his own. “If my mother catches you here she’ll kill you.”

“I know.” Patroclus murmurs, but he makes no move to go.

“Patroclus,” he sighs again into the dark, and means I wish I could, means I wish I dared, means I wish you wanted me too.

(History Is) A Pattern Of Timeless Moments by Brenda [3,180]

Achilles knew his truest triumphs would never be strung together in verse to be sung at campfires, knew that no poet or aoidos would ever know his greatest success. No, these conquests – the huff of Patroclus’ laughter against his throat, the sharp, sea-salt taste of Patroclus’ skin after a swim, the way Patroclus’ eyelids fluttered after every kiss – those were Achilles’ alone to cherish.

Or:

Four times Achilles and Patroclus were truly happy.

at least as deep as the pacific ocean by ninjee [5,166]

It’s not that Patroclus somehow has not noticed that his new favorite coffee shop seemed to only hire possible models, but, well. There’s a thin line between noticing and admiring a person’s looks and being fucking creepy about it.

When Rome’s In Ruins (We Are The Lions) by metwithdarkness [6,596]

So far, Patroclus has learned the following about Achilles:
- He doesn’t get along with either of his parents, but
- he lives with his dad when he’s not at school, and
- his dad pays for college and
- the frat house he lives in was named by his dad
- (but really, does Achilles want to follow in his dad’s footsteps?)
- (honestly, he’s not sure he does, but)
- (what would he do instead?)
Patroclus suggests being a male model and Achilles laughs so hard he snorts soda out of his nose. It’s humanizing, which is both awesome – after their runs, Patroclus was half-convinced Achilles was secretly a god – and terrible – god, if he’s human, he’s touchable, now isn’t he?

“How does that work? Achilles is so far out of his league and he can’t even see it.”

“I don’t get it. It must suck to date a blind kid, and Pat’s not even hot.”

They’d probably thought they were being quiet, but Patroclus is, after all, blind. His hearing compensates.

anonymous asked:

inquisition companions react to finding out the inquisitor (who always covers their face) is actually the hero of ferelden? (Plus warden Alistair and Morrigan pls?)

Morrigan: She knew instantly, of course. It was the walk, the bearing, the weight on their shoulders and the pride that kept them tall. And their eyes. Those eyes, peeking out from behind their mask, would likely haunt her for the rest of her life, for one reason or another. “I’ll keep your secret, old friend, if you truly do not wish these others to know,” she tells them when she announces that she’s to join the Inquisition. If Romanced: “Ah, my love, how difficult it will be to keep your secret when we shall be sharing a bed. I will not be moved from this. We shall be a family once more, and that’s final. Now, take off that ridiculous mask and kiss me.”

Warden Alistair: Inwardly: Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. Okay, don’t panic. It’s only your damned commander here. No need to panic. Or say anything dumb. “Heeeeeeeyyyy there!” Damn it! If Romanced: Well, if the way they steal into shadowed corners frequently isn’t enough to give the Warden away, nothing will. But by the Maker, he will spend time with his lover! They’re out here risking their life against impossible odds, as usual, and he doesn’t even get to stay by their side for the duration! Necking in the corner is the least of their worries at this point.

Bonus King Alistair: Yeah, he really didn’t have time to notice. There were more pressing matters to deal with. If Romanced: “Keep that beautiful face covered, love. Your identity is a vulnerable point, as much as I hate that. Our enemies would use you to hurt me and use me to hurt you. If I can’t be here with you, at least you can try to stay safe.”

Leliana: She knew immediately when they were found in the Temple of Sacred Ashes, but she didn’t know what to do with the information. She kept it to herself, allowing Cassandra and the others to think whatever they wanted to think until she had the opportunity to speak to them alone. “Why are you here, what happened?” she asks them. Though their answers are far from satisfactory, she’s willing to trust that her old friend would never have done what they are accused of. If Romanced: “My love, we must stop meeting like this,” she giggles to them even though they’re shackled in a cell. She’s cleared the room to speak to them, ostensibly to question the prisoner. She grins at them, completely certain in her belief that they are innocent, that something else is at work, and she’s simply grateful to be back with her lover even under such circumstances.

Cassandra: She’s suspicious, especially with how careful Leliana is being around them. She wonders why they insist on the mask upon having their hands unbound, but allows it anyway. She has her suspicions about who they are but keep them to herself. When she finally knows for certain, she’s more confused than anything else. “Why not simply tell us who you are?” she asks. “It would have helped remove suspicion from you to know that you were the one who ended the Blight!” If Romanced: “You didn’t trust me with this?” she asks them, a bit hurt. “You are a great hero, someone I admired before we even met. And I treated you so poorly when we met. Knowing this would have saved us both a lot of trouble.”

Cullen: Though the last time he saw the Warden was in the midst of his torture, he remembers them as clear as day. He knows who it is that stands before him on the battlefield, masked and cloaked though they are. He could never forget. He would rather forget. If Romanced: “I knew it was you from the first moment I saw you, mask and all,” he confesses, rubbing the back of his neck. “I wanted to thank you, to ask your forgiveness for what happened the last time we saw each other, but I realized that you must be hiding for a reason so I stayed quiet. I’ve kept your secret, and I will continue to do so if that is your wish.”

Solas: He knows the name, he knows the title, he knows the significance of their actions, but he doesn’t know them. He recognizes them as he studies the Anchor, but it seems to him that their identity doesn’t particularly matter. He keeps it to himself more out of indifference than any desire to keep their secret. Whatever they seek by hiding won’t affect his plans at all, so it doesn’t matter. If Romanced: “I knew. I’ve seen your face in the Fade more than enough to recognize you, but I saw no reason to reveal this information. We were both under enough suspicion as it was without adding to it unnecessarily.”

Sera: She didn’t know. She had no idea. She thinks it’s kind of cool and she’s impressed that they were able to keep the secret so long. “If you’re that good at hiding yourself, think you’ll be that good at pranks?” If Romanced: “So you were a hero even before all this Coriffyshite? Wow, you’re even bigger than I thought. Famouser. More famous. Oh, you know what I mean. Now give me a kiss, you big hero.”

Blackwall: He’s taken entirely by surprise, and one of his first thoughts once the shock wears off is why they didn’t out him as not being a Warden. He’s too afraid to ask, of course. It’s humbling, though, to be in their presence, to know them so well and work together as they do. If Romanced: Again, he wonders why they didn’t tell everyone he wasn’t a Warden, but he figures that someday he’ll work up the courage to ask. “I’m sort of honored that you would want me, after everything, out of everyone. You could have just about anything or anyone you want, but I’m so glad it’s me.”

Vivienne: She didn’t know enough about the Hero of Ferelden to pick them out of a crowd, but the mask made her suspicious since they clearly weren’t Orlesian and it wasn’t decorative like hers; it was a mask to hide behind, not a mask to show off. She tried many times to parse their secret, to discover what lay under that mask. She had a feeling it was important and a good thing to know, but after a while she decided to let it be. If they wanted to tell her the truth, then they would, but all she was doing was exhausting herself. When she finally does find out, she’s more delighted than anything else and congratulates them on their ability to keep their identity secret for so long.

Dorian: Honestly, it wasn’t his business and he didn’t really care to find out why they always wore a mask. When he does find out, he thinks it’s all a marvelous joke and spends quite a long time trying to figure out what everyone would think if they found out. If Romanced: “Well, that’s… oddly intimidating, now that I think of it. You defeated an archdemon. Oh, amatus, and now you have to face another one? One that is controlled by an evil, ancient magister, no less? Don’t worry, I’ll be right beside you the whole time.”

Iron Bull: He had his suspicions. He’s not Ben-Hassrath for nothing, after all. But he kept his thoughts to himself and went along as if everything were just peachy. When the truth is finally revealed to him, he claps them on the shoulder. “No wonder you’re so good at slaying dragons!” If Romanced: “Yeah, I know. Thanks for trusting me with it, though. It’s okay, kadan. I’ve got your back.”

Varric: He didn’t know until they told him. “Look at that! I get to fight alongside both big heroes of the age!” he cries. “This is so going in my book. It’s way too interesting not to.”

Cole: He knew. Of course he knew. “Yes, tainted blood, aching heart, you’ve seen so much death, lost so much of yourself. It’s okay. I’m here. I’ll try to help.”

Josephine: She didn’t know, didn’t guess. She knew there was something worth hiding under there, of course, but she didn’t expect this. She wonders what the secret will do to the Inquisition, if it should be revealed or not. She leaves the decision up to them, but worries about the consequences if the secret is discovered by their enemies or accidentally revealed by their allies. If Romanced: “Oh, my love, why didn’t you tell me? This changes nothing about my feelings for you, of course, but I wish I had known!”

“I know Y/n….I’m going to miss you too” He said as he held on to you.

Jungkook was going to leave for a world tour in a few days and he knew how hard it was going to be for you and him while he was away.

“I wish you could come with me so you wouldn’t have to worry about me. We’ll both know where each other are and I won’t have to wonder about what you’re up to while I’m gone”

You looked at your loving boyfriend and wished for the same thing, but being an idol was tough and you knew all too well what could happen. To go with him would mean risking it all and you couldn’t do that to him. Not after all he has worked and trained hard for.

You called him by his favorite name. “Jeongguk-ah”

“Hmm” He replied.

You leaned in to kiss him. “It’s okay. I’m sorry for making you worried” You said.

He looked at you and gave you his biggest smile. He did his signature dance and you couldn’t help but smile back. He always knew how to make you laugh.

“Y/n..”

“What is it?” You asked.

“I think I know how to make things easier for you.”

“How so?”

He began to rub your shoulders and winked at you. “Me” He replied in a seductive tone.

His word stopped you dead in your track and confusion struck your face.

What is he thinking? Was he suggesting that you guys should… Right now?? No…..

Why, this little…..

Before you could playfully attack him with a pillow; he stopped you with his words again.

“Y/n, I’m going to post songs for you.”

You lowered the pillow in your hands. “What?” You didn’t know what to say.

“While I’m away, I’m going to do covers of your favorite songs. You can listen to them and not have to feel sad when I’m gone. I’ll post them for everyone to hear but every cover I do will secretly be meant for you” He said as he kissed you. “Listen to the words and know that I am singing to you”

You stopped and stared at him for a bit.

“Jeongguk-ah, that’s really sweet of you”

You could feel the tears slowly forming. With his schedule, you didn’t even know how he was going to find time to record for you. Before you could protest; he lifted his hands up to wipe away your tears.

“Don’t cry love. How you put up with me and my busy life; I’ll never know. You’re the only one who understands me, Y/n. I don’t know what I would do without you. It’s the least I can do while I’m gone”

He held you in his arms again and tried to kiss it all better.

“I hope you will look forward to the songs Y/n”

“I promise I will” You replied.

Time flew by as you laid in each other’s arms.

“You must be tired”

“I’m okay” He replied.

You could tell he was fighting it.

“You should get some sleep” You said.

“I want to make sure you fall asleep first” He replied.

You knew he would never sleep if you didn’t.

You hugged him tighter and rested your head on his chest.

“Can you sing me to sleep then?”

He smiled.

You smiled. Such a cute IU fanboy… You sleepily thought to yourself. At this point you were in love with her too because of him.

His sweet lullaby continued. His voice was so soothing that you couldn’t help but slowly fall asleep.

When you finally did, Jungkook kissed your forehead.

“Good night Y/n”

A/N: I’m a huge fan of Jungkook’s covers. I posted this before but then I deleted it…. after seeing his recent vlog though, i figured that i should repost it again!
