Kiss the Girl

Summary: Literally based on The Little Mermaid’s “Kiss the Girl,” Bucky develops a crush on you after seeing you in various of Tony’s soirees, but is too shy to go up to you.

“It’ll be fun!” Tony had said. And honestly, Bucky felt like punching him, just breaking his nose, or bruising him enough in such a way that he would never suggest this to Bucky again.

How could a room full of drunk, screaming people could be fun? Bucky grimaced, as yet another girl sidled up to him and batted her eyelashes at him. He shook his head and gave her a polite smile.

Peter Parker x Shy Reader

Request: Yes

Summary: Peter and the Reader go to school together, however once Peter shows up at Stark tower, the Reader is curious as to why he is there.

Word Count: 1,930

Warnings: language, fluff, adorableness, talk of powers, annoying Tony, shy reader (bc I’m trash). (Err, that’s it?)

A/N: To the anon that requested this, I hope you like it! I sort of changed it up a little bit, so I hope you don’t mind. The length of this, I apologize, holy shit. I could not find a way to end this. *Also, the Reader’s powers are based on the character Catiana (in case you are wondering!) Please let me know what you guys think of it, I’d love some feedback. Enjoy reading!

Walking into school, you held tightly to your backpack and moved swiftly through the crowd, avoiding an “accidental” bump in with anyone that came unexpectedly.

Since you had a few minutes before your first class, you went to your locker and replaced the books in your backpack with the ones you needed today for classes.

Rolling your eyes and groaning as you picked up your heavy Algebra book, you stuffed it roughly into your backpack.

It’s not that you hated math, it’s just you weren’t that great at it, which definitely bothered you since you were in a class full of legit geniuses.

Not only did that class give you anxiety with being called on or not understanding anything, but it was also because there was one nerd who always caught your attention. The one that should probably be in college level math rather than Algebra in some high school. The one who looked so soft and cuddly. The one with the never ending collection of sweaters.

The one named, Peter Parker.

I don’t even know. I was taking a walk today and this idea popped into my head. I swear I’m still writing the bookstore AU, too. Also, *pops confetti*, I hit 2k followers today! Who ARE all you guys? Anyway, this fluff/ridiculousness is for you. ~1.6k words, rated G. Sterek, of course.

now also on AO3

The whole thing starts with Stiles really, really craving a meatball sub from the place across the street.

“God, someone shut him up,” Erica groans. They’re all kind of at their breaking point by now; they’ve been camped out in this meeting room all day, brainstorming. “He’s been talking about the same goddamn sandwich for seven and a half minutes now, and it’s making me hungry.”

“If only our ad campaign were about sandwiches, Stilinski would have it in the bag and we could all go home,” Isaac sighs.

From across the table, Derek rises abruptly to his feet and storms out. (Or maybe it’s just that Stiles always interprets everything Derek does as stormy. With those eyebrows, it’s hard not to.)

Stiles assumes he’s just gotten so fed up with them all that it’s either storm out or kill someone, and he’s just grateful Derek chose Door Number 1. It’s a good day not to get killed by Derek Hale.

Only, fifteen minutes later he comes back in. With a paper bag from the deli.

As soon as he gets within grabbing distance, Stiles practically collapses across the table in his haste to reach for it. “Oh my god, is that what I think it is?”

Derek holds it up over his head. “Who says this is for you? Maybe all your talk inspired me to go get a meatball sub of my own.”

“Oh, please. Like anyone with your abs eats meatball subs.” Stiles leaps to his feet on his swivel chair—because screw safety, Derek will catch him if he starts to topple over—and snatches the bag out of Derek’s grip. Derek doesn’t fight him for it very hard.

“Why don’t I get a meatball sub?” Erica whines, thumping her head down on her notebook. “Doesn’t anyone love me?”

Derek shrugs and takes his seat again. “You didn’t ask.”

“You just like Stilinski better,” she grumbles, and Derek just shrugs again.

Meanwhile, Stiles rips into the bag and takes a huge bite out of the gloriousness that is this sandwich. He can’t help throwing in a few theatrical moans just to taunt Erica, and she suitably rewards him with a glare of death across the table.

“Mmm,” Stiles says. “Derek, I love you so much, dude. Marry me.”

Instead of the grumpy eyebrows he expects, Derek meets his eye, leans back smugly in his chair, and says, “Okay.”

“Here’s the thing-” Lily said, marching into the pub and pulling out a stool.

“We’re closed.” James interrupted without looking up from wiping down the bar.

“I want a dog.” Lily barrelled on without hearing him. “But my landlord doesn’t allow pets so I was wondering-“

“I’m not getting a fucking dog for you.” James said firmly.

Lily blinked at him. “I was going to ask if you thought it was morally wrong to raise it in my air-vent.” There was a silence. James was caught between hoping she wasn’t serious and knowing that she was. “Your idea seems better.” Lily admitted.

“Really. Talk me through that, is it because there is no animal abuse involved?”

“I was thinking more along the lines of then you’d have to clean up the poo, but the no animal abuse is also good.”

“Y’know” Sirius was lying on top of the bar, waving around a beer and staring at the ceiling. Nobody looked up. “I always thought once we owned a bar we would spend a solid 60% percent of our time drunk, and that hasn’t happened.”

Remus, still wiping down tables, said “I shudder to think what you’d be like on your own.”

“Since we bought the bar we spend more time drunk than we used to?” Peter consoled, baffled.

Sirius sat up. “I would say we spent about 15% percent of our time drunk before the bar, and after the bar we spend about 25%. That is an increase of only ten percent.”

“Where are you pulling these numbers from?” Lily asked while holding the ladder for James, who was avoiding the dishwasher by pretending to fix the squeaky window.

“On top of being an excellent barman I double as a statistician.”

“You are neither of those things.” Remus said. Sirius glared.

“Fuck you Moony. At school you were always saying I didn’t do enough math, and here I am, doing math, and you’re abusing me.”

Remus threw a dishtowel at him and gestured to the kitchen. “Go unstack the dishwasher.”

“Fantastic.” Sirius said, throwing his hands in the air. “This is what I get for my brief foray into math. Insulted and unloading dishes.” He jumped off the bar and mockingly gave Remus’ back the finger. James laughed.

Summary:  You’re new in the neighbourhood, and decide to be a good person and go introduce yourself to your neighbours. Turns out that was a bad idea.

A/N: This is my fic. I’m re-posting onto my sideblog.

Being the new girl was tough. It was tough in high school, it was tough at a new job, and it’s still tough on moving day. You had just moved downtown into a cute apartment on the 10th floor of a pretty nice building. You loved being so close to everything, and the view you had made the hassle of moving up here worth it. You were still unfamiliar with your neighbours and neighbourhood, having only moved in a week ago. You took the opportunity a rare day off gave you to walk around and explore, as well as introduce yourself (finally). Baking wasn’t your strongest skill, but you tried, and made some cookies to take to your neighbours. You were glad you had taken this chance to introduce yourself, as everyone you met seemed friendly and kind.

Until you met 10A.

10A was the guy that resided in the apartment next to yours; he was relatively quiet, so you didn’t know what to expect. You knocked on the door and waited for the owner to open it, and when he did, you regretted doing this ‘introducing-yourself-to-your-neighbours-to-be-nice’ bullshit in the first place.

He was beautiful, and he was in nothing but a towel. His milky white skin still glistening with water even in the harsh lighting of the hallway, his damp bleach blond hair that begged to be touched, wide brown eyes that made him look both cute and sexy, and plump, pouty pink lips that made you want to bite them until they bruised, his toned chest and stomach that made you want a peek under that towel, he was too much at once and you were quickly becoming a flustered mess. Your eyes travelled back up only to see him staring back at you, eyebrow raised, head cocked to the side, and a smirk plastered on his face.

“You gonna tell me what you’re here for or are you gonna just keep staring, baby?” he smirked. You rolled your eyes, your earlier lust filled thoughts were shattered by the conceited remark.

(100 years later I finally got to your prompt, mac-noa ! I wasn’t explicitly lovey dovey bc I didn’t want to be ooc and it’s only actually from Matt’s POV, but I hope it works for you!!!)

Matt and Dan walk in late, strung together by the hands, still flushed from kissing in the car pre-practice. They go sheepish when they see the unimpressed look on Wymack’s face. Renee smiles brightly at them and Allison gives them a brisk nod, but the monsters are in more disarray than usual. Bits and pieces of their group are missing, and it leaves Matt with the peculiar feeling of looking at a familiar photograph that suddenly has the faces scratched out.

Their ringleader is absent, for starters, couch conspicuously empty beside Kevin — who looks unmoved and stoic and nauseated as usual.

It’s not unusual for Andrew to do things just because it’s inconvenient for others, but it’s a little weird for Neil to skip out as well. It’s a lot weird that he’s late at the same time as Andrew when Exy hangs in the balance.

Any association between them feels like something Matt has to fix, like he set something bad in motion by meeting Neil later than Andrew did in the fall. They’re probably off having one of their weird, close, angry looking conversations that always end in agreements Matt doesn’t understand.

Wymack waits thirty seconds past Matt and Dan’s arrival, and then he looks at the couch like it’s causing him pain, and starts delegating tasks for the day. He only asks once where the missing links are and there’s a lot of shrugging and staring straight ahead before he gives up.

They’re less rowdy than usual, and Matt thinks they’re all individually trying to solve Neil and Andrew’s absence in their heads. (As soon as they get up to move to the court, Allison starts whispering numbers for their betting pool until Dan bats her away.)

Matt squeezes Dan’s hand until she looks at him, and they have a brief conversation in smothered smiles.

They split up to change, and Matt straps into his gear feeling vaguely ill at ease. He keeps glancing at the door between straps and tugs of his uniform, and he notices Nicky doing the same thing. He smiles awkwardly when Matt catches him, and Matt feels a rare pulse of kinship for him. Both Andrew’s lot and the upperclassmen seem equally confused, so they have something in common for once.

The strange feeling follows Matt all the way to the court and through the first set of drills before Neil finally shows up, looking harried and flushed and all sorts of things Matt doesn’t usually associate with Neil.

He pushes into the court straight past Wymack’s blustering reprimand, and Matt catches the tail end of a flippant apology before Neil’s sprinting to centre court.

Matt stares at him. Neil waits, twisting his racquet in his hand, shoulders tense like he expects someone to toss him into the gameplay by force.

“What?” Neil asks, annoyed.

“You’re late,” Matt says stupidly.

“Twenty minutes late,” Kevin interrupts. “Almost like you’re trying to get worse.”

“He was with me,” Andrew says suddenly, breezing past them towards goal looking impossible to have spent twenty straight minutes with. Neil sort of jolts at the sound of his voice, and Matt eyes him narrowly.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8

Six Months Later

You walked down the hallway of the academic building slowly, the weight of the paper in your bag causing you to drag your feet. Each footstep bringing more and more uncertainty about the next chapter of your life. You noticed that the door to your professor’s office was locked, and a small sigh of relief escaped your lips.

You didn’t want to have to explain to him how all your interviews had turned to dead ends. You didn’t want to have to explain how you were still going to be stuck in this town. Stuck in the memories of the past year when all you wanted to do was move forward. There was nothing that you wanted more than leaving. If he could leave, so could you. But instead you had gotten hired at the coffee shop in which you first met him. Left to repeat the same memories over and over again.

And as you left the building for the last time, you didn’t feel any different. The emptiness that had filled your chest the day he left was still there. You held your phone up to your ear, the familiar number having been dialed like clockwork. “We are sorry, but the number you are trying to reach is no longer in service.” seared through your ears after the first dial tone.

You kicked at a rock while waiting to cross the street. There was no reason for you to continue to call that number. But there was still a large part of you that hoped he would come back. That when you called his voice would saying hello on the other end. But no one had heard from him. Not you. Not the boys. It was like he had erased himself from your universe.

Taehyung crept into your mind during your most vulnerable moments. Like when the sun hit your skin in the middle of the afternoon, reminding you of the hours you would spend sitting next to him in the front seat of his car. Driving the two of you around while blasting old music and singing along so out of tune that everyone else would stare at you from their cars.

You missed him when you couldn’t get a jar open, not because he was strong enough to open them. But because you would hunch over in fits of laughter as you watched him turn red in the face while trying to open it. He wasn’t much of a muscle pig, but you thought his effort was the cutest.

He was in the worn out t-shirt hidden in the back of your closet. A piece of clothing you didn’t know you had until your nose caught the smell of his cologne the first time Mina came over to your apartment to do your laundry since you hadn’t left your bed in weeks. You had her put it down, worried that if she held it for too long you would forget what he smelled like when he held you.

She loved Joshua Hong.

When she was so graciously offered to live in her aunt’s vacation penthouse close to her university of choice, the only catch was that she had to pay some of the bills. Completely fair, because it was a kind enough gesture to give away a freshly furnished space to a niece you barely talked to. Luckily, there was enough room for another guest, enough to split the rent.

So in comes the savior of her life, brother from another mother, Joshua Hong, decked out in sandy beige Sperry’s and ironed white jeans. Fresh from South California, he wore their sunshine on his smile, and their attitude in his Cheshire eyes. He was attending the same university as well, and was conveniently looking for a means to stay. Needless to say, she pounced on him at orientation before he could ask anyone else.

It is somewhat inspired by the Ed Sheeran song Shape of You - and maybe a little by the video too.

Thanks to the sweet amazing @mysupernaturalfics for betaing this for me.

“Fuck,” she breathed out, instantly drawing Jensen’s attention. He was sprawled out his couch, waiting for Y/N to return to his side. It was movie night and she hadn’t bothered leaving the room to take the phone call. Jensen never eaves dropped and even if he was to overhear something it wouldn’t matter. There was nothing to two of them hid from each other. Literally nothing.

They had both been single for a while and some drunken night they had come to the conclusion, that helping each other blow off some steam when either of them needed it was much prefered from picking up some random dude or chick at a bar.

“If you want I am game,” Jensen teased her, throwing her his best Dean smirk, making her eyes roll so hard he was sure Jared would hear it across the hall from Jensen’s apartment.

“It’s not funny, Jensen! They offered me the part. I’m gonna be Wonder Woman,” she complained, making Jensen shoot from the couch and wrap her in his arms, spinning her around the air not caring one bit about her objection.

“That’s amazing Y/N/N,” he laughed putting her down but not releasing her from his hold, “what are you so worried about?” Jensen gently stroked her hair away from her face, studying her face and trying to figure out why she wasn’t over the moon about this. She had a tendency to overthink things. He knew that. He literally spent 2 hours on the floor of her bedroom leaning against her bathroom door trying to talk her out after the first night they had slept together.

~I had to split this chapter up for lengths sake! But here you guys go! ^^ This one wasn’t graphic, but the next one will be.

“Plot? In MY FIC? It’s more common than you think”…lolololol

He was an old man. His clothes were visibly worn and in his leathery hands he held a tattered piece of cream colored paper. His milky eyes searched the walls as he walked, admiring the paintings and moldings, the various vases and art pieces.

Without even the slightest creak from them, he walked through another set of large wooden doors that were opened for him, and into the room where he faced three young men. He coughed a bit as he inhaled cigar smoke, coming from the youngest man. Just a boy, in his eyes, with red hair peeking from underneath his cap as he sat leisurely in a chair on the side of the room.

Closer to the desk sat a well-dressed man. His suit must have been worth more than the he made in a year, the old man thought. His leg crossed over his other, and a look of interest on his face as his eyes tracked the man’s walk towards the desk.

His hands were shaking at seeing the Don. He sat in a large leather chair behind a mahogany desk. His suit was white and contrasting against his blue hair and eyes. The eyes that were dull but searching the old man in a serious manner.

The old man made his way slowly to the side of the desk. On weakened knees he began kneeling down and kissed the back of the man’s palm before standing up and taking a few steps back. The Don’s face remained calm and unyielding.

“Why have you come to me, today,” he asked the old man.

While his voice was soft, it was surprisingly commanding. His right hand was caressing his thick cane like a habit as everyone stared at each other in the quiet room. The old man suddenly felt light headed at the realization of where he was at.

His calloused fingers shakily held out the paper to the Don, before being snatched up by the dark haired man at his side.

“You did not meet us as first ordered in our first letter. Do what you please. It is immaterial to us, money or death. If you want to save your life, tomorrow have $1,000 ready. Two men will go to present themselves to you. You will give not less than $1,000. Thus you may stop us from persecuting you as you have been adjudged to give money or life. Woe upon you if you do not resolve to buy your future happiness, you can do so by giving us the money demanded…otherwise we will set fire to you or blow you up with a bomb. Consider this matter well, for this is the last warning I will give you,” the dark haired man read, “at the bottom of a page is a black hand drawn above a coffin.”

The room was thick with silence for a moment. Even the red haired man had pulled the cigar from his mouth and finally sat up straight in his chair to listen in. V did not seem phased.

“And what would you like me to do,” V asked the old man.

“I have been loyal to you for many, many years…I am old. The convenience store I run is enough to feed my family, but…I can’t afford to pay this money! Who could? I have a daughter…grandchildren, all dependent on me. Please…Don V…have mercy on me and my family. Help us…” his eyes are welling with tears as he speaks, but he does not cry.

“This is the first time you have come to me for help. You have never invited me to your home for coffee…”

“What do you want of me? My home is yours. My business is yours, please…” the old man pleaded through weak breaths and shaking hands.

“You want our protection,” V states.

“You understand everything, Don V,” the old man grovels.

“If you are offering your friendship…your enemies are my enemies. Our enemies…My men will make sure you are safe. They will fear you, as they do us,” he explained with an unchanging and hard face.

“Please. Accept me…be my friend. I want nothing more than your friendship,” his voice cracked a moment but he bowed nonetheless and brought the Dons hand into his own, bringing it to his forehead.

V nodded in agreement as they brought the old man out by his arms at first, before gently guided him out of the room.

“You will owe me,” V called to him in a flat tone of warning.

When the man had disappeared from sight, Jumin stood up from his chair and placed the letter down on the desk in front of V.

“We should get to the bottom of this as soon as we can,” he explained.

Elizabeth 3rd had jumped from his lap with a meow and trot across the floor, jumping up into V’s lap. Though his face was unchanging and unmoving, he pet her with his free hand as he leaned in the chair.

“I’m aware, thank you,” he nodded.

Saeyoung had removed the cigar from his mouth and stood up to pace the room. Though V had seemed calm, he was worried. No one had ever challenged their territory before. Families knew to stick to their own sides and keep to themselves. His brain was working in overdrive trying to imagine who could have the balls enough to challenge them. Had he ever seen the symbols before? No, if he asked around enough, perhaps someone would be familiar…

“Who do you want to me assign to this,” Saeyoung asked.

“Whomever,” V waved his hand, “who do you trust most?”

“Lucky and…Kitten,” he scratched his head as he thought about it.

Jumin, who had been taking a peek outside the blinds behind V’s desk, flooding the room with light before he stopped to face Saeyoung, stepped away. His face was full of concern but V still seemed stoic and unmoving.

“Kitten, hm,” he asked with a cynical chuckle, “you’ve been getting closer to that one. Any particular reasoning?”

“I’d tell you, if it were any of your fucking business,” Saeyoung shrugged with a smile.

They were in a stare down across the room. Only the jingle of Elizabeth’s collar could be heard in the silence. Even the body guards had left them to their privacy.

“I believe it is. Since where you put your dick affects this organization-“

     “Enough!” V commanded.

Both of them jumped as his cane smacked down on the wooden desk with a loud snap. Each of them quieted down, awaiting his next words. V couldn’t stand either of their bickering. It made it hard for him to call on them both at the same time. And he needed them both. V was quiet, his mind rampant with thinking about what would be coming in the next several weeks. Though he remained calm and silent about the inner workings in his mind, he knew it was going to be tough times ahead. The ominous feeling swallowed him like quicksand.

“Saeyoung, what are you waiting for? Get going,” V said sternly before he watched Saeyoung leave the room in haste. He took note of the annoyed scoff he made in Jumin’s direction before he left.

V stood from his chair and headed for the drink cart at the side of the room. His cane tapped slowly in front of him with each step. His sight wasn’t completely gone. In fact, he considered himself lucky he could see as much as he did.

“It’s getting worse, isn’t it,” Jumin remarked, his tone had a hint of pity laced within.

“You have to help Saeyoung. He’ll be head of the family soon…I can’t have you two at each others throats like this,” he sighed.

     “V-“

“Jihyun,” he cut Jumin off, “we are alone now, after all,” he replied with a smile.

“Jihyun…I’ll do my best. I’ll advise him the best I can. But shouldn’t you tell him?” Jumin asked sincerely.

“In due time…thank you, old friend,” V took a sip of his drink.

Jaehee

  • Jaehee was working herself too hard
  • She hadn’t taken a break since they’d opened the café
  • MC manages to convince Jaehee to take a day off with her and close cafe early so that they can go see Zen’s musical together
  • However, a few days before their evening out, Jaehee books a private event at the cafe when the play is supposed to start
  • They argue about it because Jaehee thinks it will be a great chance to promote the cafe, but MC says Jaehee promised and needs some time away from work
  • In the end, they just pout at each other and don’t speak for a little while
  • MC goes to the musical alone and no, she’s not being stubborn, Jaehee is!
  • After the play, Zen asks MC to come backstage so she can ask about Jaehee, but MC explains everything that happened
  • Zen agrees to go with her to the cafe to talk to Jaehee during the private event, as he wants to see her as well (he likes hanging out with the two of them)
  • When they arrive, the party is in full swing, someone tries to force them out because “it’s a private event”, but before MC can state she’s a co-owner, a guest recognizes Zen and says they’re with her
  • MC goes to find Jaehee and sees her being kissed by another woman
  • Granted, it’s on the cheek, but it took forever for Jaehee to get comfortable with PDA from MC
  • So MC turns around and walks out to go home and cry
  • The next day, MC proposes they break up before the cafe opens and anyone else is there, even saying she found all the documents online to give/sell her half of the cafe to Jaehee
  • Jaehee is very quick to stop this line of thinking and the two of them have a long, serious talk about all their problems
  • Jaehee ends up agreeing to take one day off a month to go on a date with MC, but only if MC will help her rake in more customers with events and such

Zen

  • It’s their one year anniversary of being married
  • In months leading up to it, Zen made a bigger deal of it than she did
  • Not to mention, Valentine’s Day and Christmas were his favorite holiday and he’d gone all out for those every single time
  • And not only does Zen forget
  • But he goes out drinking after work with a few cast mates
  • He even makes a post inviting fans to come hang out with them
  • He’s posting things on his FB page, twitter and Instagram the whole time
  • MC had made a nice dinner to surprise him when he got home, but when she saw his social media, she goes on the Messenger and cries
  • She ends up packing a bag and is getting into a cab to go Jaehee’s place for a little while (she was sweet enough to offer her couch if MC needed some time away)
  • Zen comes home right about then, a little too drunk, and asks where she’s going
  • “Check the Messenger.” Is all she says before she slams the door
  • Zen goes inside and sees and…. fuck. Fuck. FUCK!!!
  • How could he have been such a jerk!!
  • He sees the beautiful meal she made, the remnants of candles, and so on, and he’s fucked up, royally
  • When he gets a notification that MC is online, he jumps on, interrupting a conversation between her and Jumin about the furball
  • Immediately, she logs off
  • In the morning, he goes to work, he does what he has to, then he goes to Jaehee’s.
  • Jaehee lets him in because she wants him to apologize to MC (who had been crying a lot because of him)
  • He swears it’ll never happen again
  • He begs forgiveness
  • He even promises to give her a whole day, just for her, if only she’ll come home
  • She agrees, but only just barely, and even then, she refuses to share the bed with him
  • Zen immediately calls his director, claims to be sick and says he needs a day off
  • He sleeps on the floor next to the couch because he refuses to be away from her until she forgives him
  • He takes her on a long, romantic date, treats her like more than a princess, when people ask what the occasion is, he tells the truth; he forgot their first anniversary and is making it up to her
  • They first shame him, then they give him advice or free stuff to help (or they just give it to her with a sad, “oh honey, I’m so sorry he forgot.”)
  • Halfway through the day, she says that being mad at him is exhausting and she just want to go home and take a nap
  • He refuses because he promised her a day and now he plans to make it a day
  • When they’re stoped in the park by some of his fans, he excuses himself from them, politely stating he’s on a date with his wife
  • The girls “awwwww” because it’s super cute how enamored with her he is
  • By the time they get home, she’s exhausted and can’t believe he packed so much into one day
  • But it doesn’t end there
  • He draws her up a bubble bath (and joins her after setting something up)
  • And when they get out, he has candles lit in their bedroom
  • Love making ensues
  • The morning, she aches in all the right ways, and is surprised when Zen drags her back into bed when she tries to get up to eat, and whispers that because he had so much fun yesterday, he called out sick today too
  • But this time, he plans on them staying home all day ;)

Jumin

  • One of Jumin’s high society “friends” says that MC is “kind of plain” and “surprisingly uncultured” and “clumsy”
  • To Jumin’s face
  • MC knows she can be clumsy, but it genuinely wasn’t her fault she bumped into that guy and spilled her drink on him
  • Hell, she’s heard comments like this before, and she’s honestly not even really bothered by them
  • Until Jumin agrees with him
  • She walks out of the party without saying a word, is driven back to the pent house and packs up her things
  • Anything Jumin has bought her with his money, she throws in the garbage
  • She ends up with a surprisingly small backpack from her high school days
  • She writes a note, “Since I’m so uncultured, I didn’t know the proper protocol for this, so I’m sorry if it’s not to your tastes. But I am leaving. I won’t tell you where I’m going. Hopefully the absence of my plain face won’t bother you.”
  • To her surprise, Elizabeth blocks her way and won’t let her leave the penthouse
  • She manages to get past Elizabeth eventually, but by then she has 10 missed calls from Jumin, 1-5 from the other RFA members, and bumps into Jumin in the lobby on her way out
  • He’s so relieved she’s okay, but MC fibs to him and says her mother is in the hospital and she needs to go visit right away, and she wants to go alone
  • He allows this because he knows how stubborn and independent she can be
  • When she’s in the car, she reads the messages, finds out that Jumin noticed her absence near-immediately and went looking for her
  • When he couldn’t find her, he panicked
  • He and the RFA all assumed that she had been kidnapped
  • She ends up actually just going to her mothers, and once Driver Kim has left, she goes to a hotel to stay the night
  • As soon as she’s checked in, she gets a call from Jumin demanding to know where she is. He refuses to lose her.
  • “Maybe next time, pick someone better suited to you,” she says. “Some one beautiful and graceful and refined. Like maybe Sarah.” Then she hangs up.
  • He calls her all through the night, although she shut her phone off pretty quickly
  • In the morning, she listens to his messages as he gets increasingly more desperate, even breaking down into tears at some point
  • After breakfast is delivered to her room, she gets a call from 707, who starts speaking so frantically, she can’t understand him
  • What he boils it down to is, “Thank god you turned on your phone, Jumin paid me a lot of money to track you down, and I can’t fail him. I have to fill up my babies with premium~”
  • This whole conversation happens while she’s eating
  • Then there’s a knock on the door as she finishes her food
  • With a piece of toast hanging out of her mouth and 707 still on the phone in her hand, she answers the door to three security guards and Jumin
  • The toast falls out of her mouth
  • Jumin forces himself inside the room, shuts the door, and grabs her phone
  • “Thank you, Luciel, the money will be wired to you by the end of the day.”
  • Jumin then hangs up and throws the phone across the room
  • He then grabs MC and kisses her
  • When he pulls away, she sees how bedraggled he looks. He’s still wearing the same suit form the night before, it’s wrinkled and his hair is a mess
  • He begs her never to leave him again
  • He apologizes a million times, telling her she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever met and that he was barely even paying attention to what that man said, he didn’t even realize until it was too late
  • He loves her too much to lose her
  • MC ends up realizing she hurt him just as much as he hurt her and apologizes for leaving like that, for saying the things she did, it was unfair
  • After holding each other for a little while, Jumin declares he’s going to take a day off of work, and they are going to stay in this hotel room until the next day
  • MC just rolls her eyes at this, but sure, fine, whatever

Saeyoung

  • He’d been acting… distant
  • Of course, part of it was because he was keeping an eye on Saeran, who was having a really bad stream of episodes
  • More than once, Saeran had lashed out at one or both of them
  • It didn’t help that Saeyoung was trying really hard to get out of the spy life and was doing his best to keep hackers away from them
  • MC did the best she could not to be a burden on him since he had so much on his plate
  • If MC was around, she’d help around the house by cleaning, making decent meals for the brothers, making sure they at least tried to eat, and so on
  • One day, however, Saeyoung snaps at MC that he’s fine, he doesn’t need her to put on a show and he just needs her to leave
  • When she comes back a few hours later with food and note with a joke on it, he’s still frustrated and says he told her to get out
  • So MC says goodbye to Saeran and goes home
  • She stops texting him good morning and good night at this point
  • At first, he just assumes she forgot, no big deal, that or she’s mad at him
  • Goes on for three days, then he realizes he’s hungry and Saeran almost sets fire to the kitchen trying to cook with some of the ingredients MC bought and left behind
  • Saeyoung cooks, but its not as good
  • He goes to check on MC at her apartment, only to find all the cameras are taped over, so he has to go in person
  • When he gets there, MC refuses to open the door
  • When Saeyoung asks why, she informs him that, she’s been trying her best to take care of him and Saeran, but Saeyoung continues to push her away
  • After everything they’ve been through, and he’s still pushing her away
  • Saeran really isn’t the best company, either, but she doesn’t blame him for that
  • When Saeyoung told her he didn’t need her, that he didn’t want her, MC decided that, if that’s what he thought would make him happy, she’d listen
  • He doesn’t need to see her again
  • Guess who’s begging for forgiveness through her apartment door?
  • Saeyoung just starts apologizing uncontrollably, saying he didn’t mean it, he loves her, needs her, Saeran needs her totally doesn’t almost ruin the apology by saying that they really need her to cook because Saeran can’t, and he’s not very good
  • Eventually MC lets him in and they hug and kiss and make up
  • MC also starts teaching Saeran to cook so there aren’t anymore… incidents
  • soon Saeran is a better cook than she is, but he doesn’t let Saeyoung have any when he “acts weird” and more often than not, if he goes to deliver food to his brother, he dumps the plate on the table in such a way that some of the food usually goes flying
