had a dream last night that the Daleks got wind of the phrase “an apple a day keeps the Doctor away” and, y’know, took it literally. they built this massive fucking fortress out of fucking apples and just like chilled in there and Rose was like “doctor wot r u gonna do” and ten was just like “i’m not gonna do anything, maybe they’ll just sit quietly in their apple dome”
"I work as a florist and every day you walk in , buy one flower and give it to me" AU because yesterday I realised you were one of my favorite stucky writers!
Steve meets Bucky Barnes on Valentine’s Day, because God has a particularly cruel sense of humor.
“You’re charging /how much/ for roses?” the man — later revealed as Bucky Barnes — asks.
“It’s Valentine’s Day,” Steve says as an explanation, then sighs as he rings the man up on the cash register. “Don’t worry, your sweetheart will like them anyway.”
The man snorts.
“What?” Steve asks.
“Not for my sweetheart, for my sister. She’s in high school, and this asshole guy’d been leading her on for months, and all we could do was watch while she pined after this little fuck. Meanwhile, this guy’s having her edit his essays, drive him places… You know, the shit that asshole high school guys do when they’re going on a power trip. Anyhow, yesterday he asks out this girl right in front of my sister, asks her if she’s happy for him, which of course she’s not. She gets home, my mom calls me, and we hang out and watch rom coms together, and that’s when we come up with the plan.”
“The plan?” Steve asks, leaning in a little closer.
The guy smiles, almost sheepishly. “Her math teacher is a friend of mine from undergrad, so I call him up. These flowers, a few cards, and a big ol’ box of chocolates are gonna be on her desk.”
“Lemme guess, the asshole sits next to her?”
He grins. “Indeed, he does.”
“She’s in on it, right?”
He nods. “‘Course, it’d be weird if she wasn’t. She’s gonna tell everyone that they’re from her overnight camp boyfriend or something, who has been begging to get back together with her. I dunno, she’s got the whole thing set up, but she promises me that it’s gonna make this jack ass jealous, and that’s the important thing.”
Steve laughs. “Yeah, it is,” he says. “Bet your girlfriend is jealous, too,” Steve asks, and okay. He’s fishing a bit.
The guy raises an eyebrow. “Actually, I’m single right now,” he says. “I’ve got all these grand romantic gestures stored up with no outlet. It’s a real problem.”
“What a problem to have,” Steve says. “I don’t think I’ve ever gotten flowers on Valentine’s Day, in any context. And that’ll be $42.88.”
“Ouch,” the guy says as he inserts his debit card into the chip reader. “I’m Bucky, by the way.”
“Steve,” Steve says, then adds, “but you probably could’ve gathered that from the name tag.”
Bucky chuckles. “Thanks Steve,” he says as he takes his card out and puts it in his wallet.
“No problem,” Steve says, handing the flowers over to Bucky. “And good luck with your grand gesture.”
“Thanks,” he says, taking the flowers. He pauses, and pulls a rose out of the bunch. “Here,” he says, handing it to Steve.
“What?” Steve asks.
Bucky moves it a little closer to Steve. “A flower. Happy Valentine’s Day, Steve.”
“Oh, uh…” Steve says, taking it. “Thanks,” he says, a little lost for words.
“You’re welcome,” Bucky says. “Though it’s not quite a grand romantic gesture.”
Steve shrugs, trying not to blush. “It’s sweet,” he says.
Bucky just smiles and leaves the store.
He comes back in the next day. “One tulip,” he says, bringing a yellow tulip up to the counter.
“Sure thing,” Steve says, then asks, “How’d the gesture go?”
“Perfectly,” Bucky says. “By the end of the day, he was telling her that he regretted everything, and she was telling him that she’s too good for him.”
Steve can’t help but smile. “Good to know, and that’s $4.21.”
Bucky pays with his debit card. “Yeah, gotta focus my energies elsewhere now,” he says.
“Good luck with that,” Steve says, handing him the flower.
“Thanks,” Bucky says, then hands the tulip back to Steve. “Enjoy the flower!” he says, before leaving the store.
Steve stands there, eyebrows furrowed, looking at the flower in his hand. “What?” he mutters to himself.
It keeps happening.
Bucky comes in, he buys a flower — a different one every day — and hands it to Steve. If he doesn’t come in, he orders one online with the direction “give to Steve, please.”
“This is ridiculous,” Steve says after a month.
“I’m supporting a local, independently-run business,” Bucky responds as he hands Steve an amaryllis. “It’s the right thing to do.”
“You’re ridiculous,” Steve amends, but he takes the flower anyway.
He’s started keeping them in his apartment as a mismatched, ever-changing arrangement. When a flower starts to wilt, he presses one of the petals and keeps it in a little book.
He sort of loves it.
He also sort of loves Bucky, but that’s a different story.
They get to know each other, even though they just talk for a few minutes a day. Bucky is an architect who lives a few blocks away and passes by the flower shop on the way to work. He spends a lot of time with his mom and his sister (his dad isn’t in the picture), and he likes cheesy movies but not cheese — he’s lactose intolerant.
“We have that in common,” Steve says.
“Then it’s a good thing that I’m giving you flowers and not chocolates,” Bucky says as he hands him a peony.
Steve takes it and gives it a sniff. He really does like the smell of peonies. “What’s your endgame here?” Steve asks. “It’s been four months.”
Bucky shrugs, smiling. “Dunno,” he says. “I honestly don’t. I just wanted you to have fun.” He pauses and shoves his hands in his pockets. “If it gets annoying—“
“It’s not,” Steve says, too quickly. “It’s not annoying,” he says.
Bucky looks up, smiling. “Alright then,” he says.
“See you tomorrow?” Steve asks.
Bucky nods. “See you tomorrow.”
When Bucky walks into the shop on Valentine’s Day, his face lights up.
“Steve?” he asks, looking at the flower arrangement in the middle of the shop and the accompanying valentine, made from the dried petals of 365 flowers.
“I thought you could use a gesture,” Steve says. “And a date for tonight?” he adds on, hopeful.
“Are these…?” Bucky asks.
“The flowers, I saved a petal from each one.”
“Oh my God,” Bucky says, looking down and biting his bottom lip. “I’m gonna have to step up my game if we’re gonna start going out,” he says.
Hi! You don't have to do this any time soon or anything, but I wanted to ask if you could gather a collection of all the fics written for @beanpots' Day & Night AU? I was reading over mine and contemplating adding more to it, when I realized I hadn't read any of the other fics inspired for it. And now I'm curious to see the other fics. Thanks for all the work you do! <3
This is one of my favourite AUs!! Much love to @beanpots who created the original AU that started it all which you can find here!
(The wonderful art was created by @vulpes–vulpes and you can find the original post here! Permission was granted by the artist, please do not repost!)
Day and Night AU
of dusk and dawn and a love beyondby exile_wrath, Gen, 5.5k The King of Day, Victor, drops flowers to the Ruler of Night, Yuuri, to express his love for him; yet, they are always returned, as Yuuri thinks that they’re dropped by mistake. Victor cries and plucks wishes off the petals every time, remembering the time when once, they had been together. SO GOOD I LOVE THIS
Carpe Diem, Carpe Noctem by Libika, Gen, 3.2k Yet he couldn’t help but let his mind wander and think about this beautiful man in a glistening gown, with hundreds of stars shining brightly on it. The way his eyes shined – as they were made of thousands of stars themselves – when he was thinking about something. The Sky court was bathed in sunlight, and he couldn’t help but feel a bit melancholic. Very sweet!
When the Sun Met the Moon by Birdieee, Not Rated, 5.4k The rulers of the two kingdoms are as distant as the stars themselves, yet the invisible thread of fate binds them together. What happens when the sun and the moon fall in love? Lovely Day and Night AU!
A Lunar Eclipse to Remember by Phoenix_Rising719, Gen, 7.5k The King of Night, Yuuri Katsuki, is doing his best to keep it together and host a Lunar Eclipse Gala on his own. But that only works so well with out poor anxiety ridden child. But that’s nothing a little liquid courage can’t fix, right? Such a great fic!
Dusk & Dawn by Watermelonsmellinfellon, Mature, 3.5k Victor was the King of Day. Dawn incarnate. Yuuri was the King of Night. Dusk incarnate. Dawn and Dusk come together twice every day, to exchange duties. They are eternal, existing in a romance as old as time itself. And the celestial bodies of their universe forever turn because of their power and love. I LOVE this!
The Eclipse of Roses by OrionHunts, Gen, 2k Victor is the king of daytime, better known as Day, and is crushing on his neighboring king, Night. After sending countless flowers Yuuri’s way, it finally takes Night’s dear friend Dusk (Phichit) to give the two of them the final push into falling in love. Phichit is the best matchmaker tbh
Sky of Endless Love by CagedBirdSings, Gen, 3.2k (WIP) In a Realm far above the Earth, the King of Day leaves behind roses of vivid red - all in the hopes of having his feelings reach the King of Night. Meanwhile, Yuuri wonders why Victor keeps dropping his roses. SO FREAKIN CUTE
Stardust by Iki_victuri, Not Rated, 5.9k After millennia of crossing paths daily Yuuri still had never even gazed upon the Day King’s face. All that will change in a fraction of a moment, along with his life, forever. Thumbs up!
Finally Here by darklilcorner, Gen, 1.9k Yuuri is the King of Night and Viktor is the King of Day. Grateful to the Night for allowing him to rest, Viktor leaves meaningful roses for Yuuri. The roses show how he feels, but Yuuri always returns them… Great fic!
morning and night by cosmofluous, Gen, 2.9k (WIP) He really does hang the stars in the sky, and burn as bright as the sun. The descriptions in this fic are amazing!
Of Cloudless Climbs and Starry Skies by Maiden_of_the_Moon, Gen, 1.5k The King of Day should not turn his head to watch. He should not hesitate, even though the sun does in the distance. He should not drop that single rose when their slippers align, when their gossamer gowns chafe whispers, and starlight pokes pinpricks into the dome of the sky. He should not romanticize that moment when day is overcome by night. But in being so overcome, how can he not? Very good fic!
For Your Time (I’ll Give You This Smile) by Liana_Legaspi, Gen, 2.2k “Do you love me?” the King of Day says to Yuuri’s retreating back.Stop.Think.“I haven’t decided yet.” Yuuri confesses, “I might hate you.”There’s a smile in Viktor’s voice that’s sweeter than any lullaby Yuuri’s ever heard. “Then, if that’s the case, I’ll wait with you until you decide.” WOW!
Open Up The Stars by Kisnau, Gen, 9.4k (WIP) The Sun and Moon were old friends. This is not a story of the Sun and Moon, equal entities and ancient neighbors. This is a story of their children, Night and Day.
concept: i am a 19th century beauty. wavy hair past my waist, round face glowing like the moon, soft rose petal lips. i spend the days reading or sitting in the fields, making daisy chains or lying sprawled under the sun. the town’s artist, a poor and unknown man, watches and paints a portrait of me from his window. centuries later, it hangs in a museum; his name is synonymous with Picasso and Raphael, mine is unknown.
Top 10 surprise visits to each other while they're living apart ^^
I’m going to have to cut this
down to 5 because the majority of their trips to see each other were planned well in advanced to give them both things to look forward to and also
because they tended to stay for a long time when they had the chance and needed to plan ahead for it. But there
were a few very spontaneous trips before they eventually moved in together. There
were several ‘just deciding to fly over for the weekend a few days before’ types (being a well-paid athlete has its perks) but here are the 5 best:
Top 5 Surprise Visits To Each
Other While They’re Living Apart:
5) One time after one of their regular extended Skype sessions when Viktor was helping teach Yuuri Russian, Yuuri told him ‘You know, I’d
really love to be able to practice my Russian in the country itself’ and Viktor
got all heart-eyed like ‘you know you can come and visit me whenever you want’
and Yuuri just smiled and held up the plane tickets he had just bought like ‘I know, I’m flying out
4) During one of the longer periods apart Yuuri started to
really, really miss Viktor and it was making him feel really down and insecure. Viktor
picked up on it straight away and the next day Yuuri ended up crying to him on the
phone like ‘I’m sorry for crying but I just really miss you’ and Viktor told
him to ‘open the door’ and he was standing outside Yuuri’s apartment with a
bunch of roses after taking the first flight to Detroit
3) At the Four Continents after chapter 14 (so about a month
or two after the GPF). Yuuri had come to watch Viktor at the Russian nationals
but they had agreed that the dates of the Europeans and the Four Continents
were cutting it too close for Viktor to be able to make it to cheer Yuuri on in
return. Naturally Viktor showed up anyway, much to Yuuri’s surprise and delight
and Yakov’s exasperation (he didn’t mind really though because Viktor was happier than Yakov had ever seen him before and that was what he cared about most).
2) At their six month anniversary Viktor planned in secret with Phichit to surprise Yuuri. Yuuri came home from training that day to find a note from
Phichit on the door saying that he would be gone for the weekend and to have
fun and when Yuuri walked into his bedroom Viktor was lying on his bed waiting for him (There were rose petals involved and very minimal clothing. It was
very cliché but Yuuri loved it anyway. After he finished laughing). Phichit
actually decided to stay away for a week just to be safe.
1) After the GPF in chapter 14 they spent a lot of time
calling/skyping each other and making plans but they were still trying to work
out how to do long distance until everything settled down and none of the plans
were confirmed yet. But that didn’t stop Yuuri from flying out to surprise
Viktor by showing up to give him a good luck kiss at the rink-side during the
Russian Nationals, prove to the world/Russia that Viktor was his and he was
Viktor’s and stay for Viktor’s birthday. They celebrated together in St
Petersburg and Yuuri officially met all of Viktor’s rink-mates for the first
After a hunt gone wrong, Y/N Winchester, the 17 year old half-sister of Sam and Dean Winchester, her older brothers, and Castiel are transported to Riverdale, a town in a different universe. While Sam, Dean, and Castiel attempt to find a way back home, Y/N struggles to fit in in the community of Riverdale. In a universe with no monsters to worry about, there’s so many questions that need answering.
Can she ever try to be normal after hunting for all of her life? Who’s the good-looking, mystical teen with the beanie who’s always at that diner? And will anyone discover that secret she’s been hiding for the last year and a half?
“Why’s everyone staring at us?” Sam asked as the four of you walked through the town of Riverdale.
You looked around and saw that people indeed were staring at you guys. You looked down at your outfit of a black tank top, plaid jacket, and jeans which were ripped a bit at the knees.
“They’re staring at us? We should be staring at them. They look like a modern version of the fifties.” he said.
“Dean.” Castiel chastised.
“What?” Dean asked. “They do.”
You smiled and shook your head, continuing your walk.
“Hey,” Sam said stopping.
The rest of you stopped, turning to him as he nodded to something behind of you. You faced forward again, seeing a small diner with sign above it.
““Pop’s,”” he said. “Guess that’s where we’re eating.”
“I’ve had worse.” you said as the four of you walked the short distance to the diner in silence.
“Alright,” Dean said as everyone stopped outside the diner.
“Sam, Cas, and I’ll go to that gas station next door and ask anyone if there’s a motel close by. Y/N, you go in the diner and find us a booth.”
“Yeah, sure,” you said. “See you in a few.”
The boys went in the opposite direction as you walked up the stairs to Pop’s. The bell jingled as you opened the front door and you breathed in the familiar scent of a diner. You walked over the counter to where a man was cleaning the tabletop off.
“Can I help you?” he asked, looking up.
You looked up at the man across the counter, presumably Pop.
“Uh, yeah, can I have four waters to start, please?”
“Thanks.” you muttered as Pop got started on your order. You took a seat in a booth closest to the door, unaware of the four people across the diner who had been watching you the entire time.
“Well, I for one am excited for the game,” Veronica began. “Because…”
As the Lodge girl trailed off, Jughead, Archie, and Betty looked at her.
“Ronnie?” Archie asked.
“Who’s she?” Veronica asked, ignoring the ginger’s question.
The three of them followed her gaze to the girl ordering something from Pop Tate at the counter.
Jughead was taken aback by you. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but there was something about you that just struck him. As you sat down in your booth, Jughead’s mind raced.
Was it the way you dressed? Or maybe—
“I’ve never seen her before,” Betty said, snapping Jughead out his thoughts. “But she can’t be new. No one transfers schools in the middle of the school year.”
“Should we invite her to sit with us?” Archie asked as he turned back to Veronica.
“Yeah, sure,” Ronnie said. “She looks— oh hello.”
At Veronica’s purr, everyone turned back to what she was looking at. Sam, Dean, and Castiel all entered Pop’s. The three men caught sight of you in your booth and sat down next to you and across from you. As the four of you began to talk, the teens tried to hear what you were saying but to no avail.
“So there’s a motel about a quarter mile ahead. Called the Moon Motel. Only one in town.” Dean said as he and Castiel sat across from you.
You nodded as Sam sat down next from you.
“Okay,” you said. “I ordered us all waters to start. Didn’t get you food though. Wasn’t sure what you were in the mood for.”
Dean cleared his throat as he picked up a menu and started reading it.
“Pie,” he proclaimed. “Cherry pie.”
Pie. You loved it. But it had made you sick as a dog when you had gotten—
The smile disappeared from your face and you quickly shook your head, removing that thought from your head. You wouldn’t think about that today.
“You okay?” Sam asked, looking at you.
You looked up and realized your brothers and the angel were looking at you.
“Uh, y-yeah,” you stammered, running a hand through your hair. “Just wondering what we’re gonna wear for the next few days. I mean, no offense, Dean, but you smell.”
Sam bit back a smile at your remark while Dean glared at you.
“I can get us some fake credit cards.” Cas cut in.
You rose your eyebrows at him.
“In this place?” you asked.
“I can try.” the angel replied.
You sighed as you sat back in your chair, picking your menu up.
“Alright.” you answered as the four of you entered a comfortable silence.
The teens watched you and the three others curiously.
“Who are they?” Betty asked quietly.
“I don’t know,” she said as she took a sip of her milkshake. “But I like the one that’s sitting next to the one in that trench coat.” she said slyly.
Archie groaned and Jughead’s face twisted up as if he had tasted something sour.
“That’s gross, Ronnie.” Betty said.
Veronica shrugged and the four of them resumed looking at the strangers across the room only to freeze when they saw you were looking straight back at them.
“Why don’t you take a picture?” you snapped loudly. “It’ll last longer.”
The men in your booth turned to look at the Core Four who quickly looked away, not wanting to face their wrath as well.
“Damn.” Jughead muttered.
Guess you didn’t like to play around.
Sam looked back at you after your outburst with an impressed expression on his face.
“I’m just hungry, okay?” you mumbled, looking back down at your menu.
“That’s my girl.” he said.
You gave a small smile before the silence enveloped your booth again. You glanced up again only to see the raven-haired teenager from the booth you had yelled at looking at you curiously. The other teens had their heads down, evidently scarred by your scolding.
But not him.
You debated yelling at him again before deciding you were too hungry to get into a fight at this time. You sighed, eyes going back to your menu.
What even was this place?
A/N: Send me feedback! Hope you guys are enjoying it so far!
I feel like Lance would be the one to spoil Keith with a romantic night out at an expensive restaurant, roses, candlelight dinner, the whole shebang.
And Keith would just get Lance a kid’s meal that comes with a toy and stay inside to watch movies all day and be lazy and cuddle and everyone else is kinda like “What?” because that doesn’t sound all too good compared to what Lance does for him but Lance is just so!!!! Happy!!!!! With this kind of thing that Keith does because it’s Keith and it’s also Keith who bribed Allura to bribe intimidate one of the best spas in the area to get a free spa day and they end up going the next weekend and Lance just loves this boy so much!
Welcome to your 21st year! As per the wonderful tradition of the house of Hale, you will be attending some of the best places to be single that Beacon Hills has to offer today. First, it’s to the Coffee Shop on Main where you will get two lemon zest chocolate chip muffins. Listen to me very carefully, I’m going to ease you into the way this works. Buy two muffins, but you’re only going to eat one. Find someone cute to give the second one to…
The letter went on, but Derek was staring at it in horror, unable to process how terrible that sounded in just the first paragraph. Today was going to suck.
Or: Derek’s grandmother relishes setting her single grandchildren up on Valentine’s Day. Only, less ‘setting up’ and more ‘forcing them to run a singles-only scavenger hunt where the prize is love or at least sex’.
Aswe go marching, marching, in the beauty of the day A million darkened kitchens, a thousand mill lofts gray Are touched with all the radiance that a sudden sun discloses For the people hear us singing, bread and roses, bread and roses.
As we come marching, marching, we battle too, for men, For they are in the struggle and together we shall win. Our days shall not be sweated from birth until life closes, Hearts starve as well as bodies, give us bread, but give us roses.
As we come marching, marching, un-numbered women dead Go crying through our singing their ancient call for bread, Small art and love and beauty their trudging spirits knew Yes, it is bread we. fight for, but we fight for roses, too.
Roses are red, Violets are blue, Valentine’s day is coming up, so here are my 10 favorite Korean drama couples. (in no particular order)
Hong Nan Hee & Byung Hyung Tae - 9 Ends 2 Outs
If I had to choose my favorite couple of all time, Nan He and Hyung Tae would take the title. These two best friends turned lovers are still making my heart pound whenever I watch 9 Ends 2 Outs. Their knowledge and understanding of one another, as well as their constant need to protect each other was wonderfully portrayed. And Soo Ae’s chemistry with Lee Jung Jin was so on point I wondered if they didn’t date in real life.
Ban Ji Yoon & Yoon Dong Ha - A Witch’s Romance
Noona Romance are not new in kdramas but this one is probably my favorite. It was heartbreaking to watch Ban Ji Yoon fight her feelings for Dong Ha because of their 14-year old gap, but the mature take on the subject made it worth it. Plus, their kiss scenes were just too hot.
Na Bong Sun & Kang Sun Woo - Oh My Ghost
These two are just too cute. Introvert Bong Sun and top chef Sun Woo didn’t look like they were ever going to fall in love but thankfully our ghost Soon Ae helped a little. I particularly love how Sun Woo just can’t resist Na Bong cuteness.
Kim Bok Joo & Jung Joon Hyung - Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok Joo
A fan favorite and probably the best couple of 2016, Bok Joo and Joon Hyung have brought to light a realistic portrayal of a couple and their relationship. From strangers, to friends, to lovers they’ve showed us how a relation based on respect, communication and trust can work.
Cheon Song Yi & Do Min Joon - You Who Came From The Stars
If these two aren’t the definition of opposites that attracts I don’t know who could be. Using one of my favorite trope, neighbors/cohabitation, Cheon Song Yi and Do Min Joon’ love story was stellar.
Choi Hee Jin & Kim Bong Do - Queen In Hyun’s Man
Another opposite attracts kind of story, Choi Hee Jin and Kim Bong Do made my heart pound and break and pound again. The idea that love is timeless and that 400 years of distance is not such an issue was one of my favorites out of all the love stories.
Yoon Myeong Joo & Seo Dae Young - Descendants of the Sun
Set in the military, the obstacle they faced wasn’t just your usual parents disapproval. Seo Dae Young’ struggle to follow orders while trying to keep Yoon Myeong Joo from hurting was heart wrenching. But it’s Yoon Myeong Joo’ stubbornness that made this couple so lovable. This and their beautiful theme song.
Jang Dan Bi & Lee Do - Splash Splash Love
It was only two episodes but these two gave me feelings that some couples haven’t been able to do in 20 episodes. Their love story was short lived but so sweet that it will be remembered for eternity.
Grim Reaper & Sunny - Goblin
Definitely the couple with the most painful story on this list, Wang Yeo and Sunny made cry like a baby. To be exact, it’s the innocent and slow approach this couple took only to find out the ugly truth that made cry. Like hurting in one life is already awful but can you imagine it being your destiny? Granted their reincarnation did get a happily ever after but it wasn’t the same.
Go Eun Chan & Choi Han Gyeol - Coffee Prince
I love these two because not only did they do the romance but they also did the bromance. Their love story was really one that transcended genders, which was quite a feature for Korean drama. Han Gyeol struggle to understand his feelings for Eun Chan, followed by his acceptance of the situation gave me so many feelings.
One thing all these couple have in common is how much they loved each other, they might not have made the best decisions all the time but their love is so big that it blinded me several times.
On this note, I wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day whether you are in a relationship or single. For those of you who are in relationship, enjoy your time with your significant other. For those you who are single (like me) don’t feel desperate and just enjoy the day with yourself or your friends. Finally for those of you who don’t celebrate/care about Valentine’s Day…have a wonderful tuesday :)
• Shu enjoys watching you fold your clothes and inhaling the scent of it when you’re not looking. It helps him relax.
• Some shared evenings include him playing a lovely piece on the violin for you.
• In public, Shu doesn’t mind holding your hand. He wants to make sure you’re at his side in crowded places.
• He tends to spill his thoughts to you whenever you ask him what’s wrong. You’re his ear to lend.

• Or if he’s feeling pretty generous, he will give you a manicure and pedicure himself. (He’s so good at it too!)
• Reiji will often send a familiar after you whenever you’re out and about, much to your chagrin.
“Don’t be ridiculous, it’s only so that I can keep an eye on you. I won’t let you out of my sight from now on.“
• Ore-sama’s favorite dates with you include watching basketball games. From high school to the professional ones, he’s always ecstatic!
• Praising him for being/doing the best will always cheer him up after a bad day.
• Ayato tends to glare quickly at others who give you a lingering look in public. He doesn’t like it at all, and will pull you closer as a result.
• This boy will do anything to make you proud of him. He wants to give you the best quality of life.

• On rare occasions, he likes to give you sweets when you’ve been a good doll to him.
• His tantrums have lessened around you, but that doesn’t mean he’ll hold his temper for long.
• Moonlight walks with you surprisingly cause him to open up more about himself. He’s at his calmest too.
• “The moon is lovely like you tonight. Don’t you agree, Teddy?”
• OOH BOY, if you thought Laito’s sex drive was already high, you were wrong. He holds nothing back when it comes to you.
• When you two are not getting it on, Laito likes to take you to see musicals or concerts. It’s his usual idea for date night.
• He’s had to tone down his flirtatious antics for others around you, and the two of you have had multiple fights over it in your marriage.
• Nonetheless, he makes up for it by giving you his full attention and with a few kisses.
• He despises seeing you without your wedding ring on your finger, and often urges you to wear it when in public. (But this is just your way of seeking revenge when he’s flirting with others.)
• “Bitch-chan, where is your wedding ring? Did you lose it? I can’t let you go out without it on your finger. You are mine, remember?”
• Poor Subaru still can’t grasp the fact that you chose to marry him. He always needs tons of assurance from you.
• He knows you can’t sleep in a coffin with him, so he’s learned to compromise and share a bed with you instead.
• You tend to yell back at him during his explosions, so he’s learning slowly to choose which battles to fight in or give up on.
• On rough days with him, Subaru leaves a white rose on your nightstand as his way of saying, “I still care for you.”
• He gets flustered with PDA, but that won’t stop him from having you stick to him when Kou’s around.
• “Oi…just ignore that guy and focus on me. I’m your husband, right? Tch…just stay with me…”
• Kino is always telling you about the latest game he downloaded on his smartphone. It’s cute to watch him get excited for it.
• You two often visit cons or seminars together for a few days as vacation before heading back home.
• When you’re sitting alone with your back against nothing, he’ll sneak over and sit beside you with his back against yours. A comfortable silence is then exchanged between the two of you.
• Though he has a nasty sadistic side like his brothers, he also has an awful love for teasing you nonstop. It can be annoying sometimes.
• Kino is persistent in wanting to change you into a vampire like him. He never explains why until he grows fearful of how fragile a human’s life is.
• “It’s for my benefit that you become mine for an eternity. What? Selfish? That’s not true, you get to have some benefits from it too!”
May is the garden set on fire. All the roses up in flames.
There’s not a cherry tree in sight. Instead, the heat swelters.
May comes to claim what’s hers. Grinds down all the broken
hearts and wears them in a protection vile. May has never
known the taste of love, only that it gives her a toothache.
It’s too sweet, too syrupy. So she dusts herself in ashes
instead of glitter. Complains about the sun. Seeps into
the shadows. Watches everyone else run around with
their bouquets. Waits for them to wilt. Eats the dried
petals like candied fruits. Wrings out the roses. Hangs
them out to dry. Wears rose oil in her hair. Hopes that
the wind never carries the scent.
