I Don’t Mean It (pt 9)

Taehyung ran as fast as his legs could take him, not worrying about who noticed him this late at night on the streets. He couldn’t believe how all these events had played off. He couldn’t believe he didn’t trust you, especially when you told him that you didn’t do it. The image you crying kept replaying in his head as he ran towards the building. He was suddenly scared to approach you.

He thought back to the conversation you both had months and months ago. You both sat on the couch, while you had the TV on in the background as the two of you chatted. That was the first night that Taehyung realized he had fallen in love with you. The way he was so comfortable to open up with you and how you felt the same about him. It was like a connection he never felt before.

He remembered you saying that you value trust as one of the single most important things in your life. And once that trust was broken, it would never be whole again.

Not only did he probably break your trust, but he felt like he broke you too. He remembered the words he yelled at you, now realizing how hurtful they really must have been.

As soon as Taehyung reached his building, he was waiting for the elevator with what little patience he had left. Seeing as you both lived on the 8th floors, he thought the elevator was his best bet but it seemed to be taking longer than usual. Just as he was about to start running up the stairs, the door belonging to the landlord on the first floor opened.

Out came a rather old man and Taehyung knew he had to at least say hello, even though he wanted nothing more than to run up.

“Oh hi there Taehyung…you look rather out of breath,” said the landlord

“Oh…haha yeah sort of” said Taehyung, awkwardly fiddling with his hands, waiting to be excused.

“Oh..you must have been helping your neighbor bring boxes down!” said the landlord. This caught Taehyung’s attention.

“N-neighbor?” Taehyung asked.

“Oh yes! That lovely girl next door to you boys. She said she was moving soon” said the landlord.

Taehyung didn’t even say anything before he rushed up the stairs, knowing he had to stop you at all costs. He ran to your door and before he knocked, he tried to catch his breath and tried to think of what he was going to say to you. He knew earning your forgiveness was no easy task, but you would always forgive him in the end…right? You both had a few small arguments here and there but you had always forgiven him without much effort on his part. Would this time be any different?

Taehyung finally knocked on the door, anxiously waiting for you to open the door. While waiting, he thought back to all the times you opened the door for him with the biggest smile on your face. Was he wrong for wanting that again?

He could hear the door unlock and he let go of a breath he didn’t know he was holding. Thankfully you were home.

“You’re ear–” you said, but stopped as you finally saw who was at the door. You were expecting the movers to come by today, but you were surprised to see Taehyung at the door. You gulped, wondering if he had wanted to come to yell at you some more.

“You..you’re moving?” Taehyung asked. He didn’t mean to start with that, but he couldn’t help himself when he noticed all the cardboard boxes that stood behind you.

You only stare at Taehyung, confused with the tone of his voice. You didn’t know what to say. “Y-yes” was all you could bring out.

“w-why?” he continued.

“I don’t have any reason to stay anymore” you said, tears starting to well up in your eyes again. Before he could say anything else, you tried closing the door on him, but he grabbed the door and pushed it back. He let himself in and you stared at him, wide-eyed.

“Y/N.. I’m so sorry” he said looking directly at you. His tone was guilt ridden. He almost couldn’t meet your eyes after noticing the tears, but he knew he had to stand his ground.

“For what exactly?” you say emotionless. If it weren’t for your tears, you could have been mistaken as a statue.

“For..what I said before. I- I don’t know what I was thinking” Taehyung started, finally tearing away from your eyes as it was getting to much to take.

“You were thinking that I was some low-life scum who was only friends with you to make a few bucks” you said, finally letting the tears flow freely down your slightly rosy cheeks.

“No..I don’t think that of you. I didn’t mean it” Taehyung started pleading as he inched closer to you.

“No, you did mean it” You said, backing away when you noticed him trying to get closer to you.

“Y/N, please, i’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said the things I did…I’m so sorry” Taehyung continued. His stomach started to turn when he thought that there was the chance that you didn’t forgive him this time around. “I heard my manager. He said he made the whole thing up to keep us apart, Y/N please….” he tried again.

You snickered back. “So…you only believe me now because you heard the truth from your manager….otherwise you still wouldn’t have taken my word. Am I right?” you said, with a sudden anger surging through your veins.

Taehyung thought about it for a while, and he knew that a part of what you said was true. He didn’t believe you when you said you didn’t do it, and he knew that he didn’t plan to hear you out either. But a part of him also wanted to keep on holding onto you, even if you had betrayed him.

When it took him a while to reply, you continued “I guess I have my answer….please leave” you said, wiping the tears away from your eyes.

“No, Y/N please hear me out. Please, I’m begging you. Just forgive me this one time please? You’ve always forgiven me in the past, Y/N please” he pleaded, tears threatening to form in his eyes.

“You didn’t want to hear what I had to say, which I should do the same for you?” you asked as you glared back at him.

“I was dumb, Y/N you know me. I always make stupid mistakes, but you always found it in your heart to forgive me. Please, just this one last time, forgive me. I don’t want to lose you….There’s so much I wanted to tell you….” he said as his voice cracked a little at the last part.

You didn’t like seeing Taehyung like this. You always had wanted him to have that box smile on his face, and be the little ball of happiness that he was. But you didn’t know if you could ever be the same with him again. If he doubted you then, what’s to keep him from doubting you in the future? He broke your heart before you even had the chance of giving it all to him, before he even knew that it already belonged to him in the first place. Now, you were just trying to pick up the pieces of your shattered heart, hoping that one day it will be like it was before.

The eerie silence once again filled the room. Taehyung tried to walk to you again, hoping that he just had you in his arms, you could find it in yourself to forgive him. But you stuck your hand out, signaling him to stop.

“No. Leave.” you said firmly.

“Y/N…p-ple” he started

“LEAVE” you screamed back. You let out your sobs and fell to your knees, not having any more energy to continue.

Taehyung wanted nothing more than to run to you and hold you. To let you cry into his arms as he would probably cry back into yours. But he knew that you weren’t going to let him near you, even in your current position. He didn’t want to, but he walked out of your door, finally letting the tears fall. His vision blurred from the tears as he walked back to his own apartment, just a few feet down.

He walked into the silent and dark room, not bothering to turn on the lights. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket, but he already knew that it was just the boys looking for him.

Eventually, the phone stopped buzzing after a few minutes and Taehyung plopped himself onto his bed, finally letting his own tears fall freely.

He just lost you. He lost the girl who he feel so deeply in love with. He didn’t even have the chance to tell you how much you meant to him, or how much he wanted to make you his. Instead, he took the heart he wanted to badly and broke it. He didn’t know why chose to believe his manager’s lies, because deep down he knew you would never do something like that. But it scared him nonetheless. He thought that if his manager was right, then he would end up hurting. So he hurt you instead.

And now here you both were, lonely, in pain, and broken.

A/N: So like…The series is not over. For those of you guys who like pure angst, and don’t want a happy ending, then I suggest you stop here. In the future part(s), I’m writing with the intention of a happy ending. Do y’all want part 10? What do you think is going to happen to Y/n and Tae?! Let me know~ I love hearing from y’all. The support I’ve gotten from this one series has been amazing and it’s been so much fun writing for you guys. Part 1 has reached over 1.8k notes and I’m still in awe.

Reasons why Tythan is real and better than Septiplier

-They don’t have girlfriends and therefore are single (but not really cause they’re dating each other duh)

-Tyler’s huge pupils around Ethan

-The giant Tyler is gentle af with the blue boy

-Tyler doesn’t hit Ethan as hard with balls or arrows or other shit they use in videos to shoot each other

-If Mark doesn’t sit between Tythan they do a lot of gay stuff and a looot of touching

-They share clothes

-Their height difference is just way too cute for them to not kiss 24/7

-Mark and Sean destroyed Septiplier and always joke about it/make fun of it

-Tythan doesn’t talk about Tythan

(so while Septiplier is dead, Tythan is growing beautifully)

-They live together (also on the same damn continent unlike Septiplier)

-Tyler picks Ethan up and carries him around quite often

-Opposites attract

-They are best friends

-They talk daily while Septiplier doesn’t

-Septiplier always tease us with their fake gay shit while Tythan is gay without trying (heart eyes, sitting close as if there wasn’t a whole couch for them, touching all the time, starring so hard, Tyler makes Ethan food especially while the boy’s live-streaming)

-They are like a married couple already

-They seem really damn gay so they probably are

-Tyler protects Ethan from things he’s allergic to

-Also Tyler fucking implied that he kisses Ethan (or at least gets really damn close to his face/mouth) by saying that he “can eat peanuts now because Ethan isn’t here” on one of Mark’s live streams while eating a snickers

-Tyler never said that he’s straight (I don’t think he ever said anything about his sexuality)

Do you know what Tyler and Ethan ALWAYS are when they’re together?

happy.

It was the tinkling of ice that rummaged within your glass of liquor that you debated whether to drink the contents and regret it the day after or to deny the free offer the bartender had given you; to try their new bottle they had promptly started to sell within the specific bar. Your eyes narrowed towards the softly fizzing contents inside your glass, scrutinizing the bubbles as they dispersed after floating about the liquid for more than a few seconds — having wasted their purpose as they popped small amounts of gas within the air. You were so entranced, giving yourself thousands of reasons why drinking at that moment shouldn’t even be debatable to notice the bartender laugh under his breath.

“It’s not going to kill you, you know.” He said, shaking a blender cup before he started to pour someone else a glass of alcohol.

You pursed your lips, glancing to your phone hoping you would receive a text back but to your dismay, you had received nothing. “It may not kill me,” you started while you softly flicked the glass with your finger as the crushed ice began to dance with one another, “but it will ruin my life.”

He hummed, resting his elbow on the counter and towards your sober state of mind, sliding the cup a little closer to you. “But it may also give you something to live for.”

Sometime after the season 6 finale, the gang decides to look into the whole “song inside me” thing, and Blue is able to return their memories of the whole debacle.

“I can’t believe we forgot all this,” Snow said, almost whispering.

“It was necessary,” Blue said, like that explained everything, which it didn’t. But this was Blue, so it was about as good of an explanation as anyone was ever going to get.

“Yeah, well, it was a memory I could have done without,” Regina said, as though she had a bad taste in her mouth. “Me, singing and dancing like some kind of …”

"Don’t say it,” David warned.

“Disney character,” Henry finished. “I wish I could have seen it and heard it. All I have is the page here.”

“Look,” Emma said. “What matters is that all of your songs–the happy ones, the sad ones, the angry ones–all of them, that’s what I needed to keep the Black Fairy from crushing my heart. So even if you’re embarrassed now, I’m grateful.”

Snow and David smiled almost beatifically, and Regina sighed. Zelena shrugged. “I’ve nothing to be embarrassed about; I sounded fantastic.”

“Better than me?” David challenged.

“I think the Rabbit Hole does karaoke,” Snow said. “If we want to find out.”

Emma snickered at the thought of her dad and Zelena going head to head in a karaoke competition. Killian, though, was uncharacteristically silent.

Actually, he’d been quiet the whole time. She turned to look at him, but he refused to meet her gaze, staring at Blue instead. Weird.

“So, what’s wrong?” she asked as she plopped down on the bed and watched as he finished pulling on his pajamas.

“What’s that, love?”

“What’s wrong? You’ve been acting weird since Blue gave you guys your … musical memories back. Why?” She paused. “Was your song embarrassing or something?”

“No.”

“Well, I know you can’t be insecure about your singing voice. You already know I think you’ve got a sexy one.”

He chuckled. “No.”

“Well, what then? And don’t tell me you’re not upset because we both know you are.”

He sighed as he climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms. “All right, but it’s … odd, I suppose.”

“I’m the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming and I’m married to Captain Hook. My closest friends are the Evil Queen, and her sister, the Wicked Witch, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I think I’m good with odd.”

“Not sure it’s the same variety of odd, love, but fair enough.”

“Just tell me.”

“I’m trying to.” He paused. “You recall your parents and Regina discussing their musical tete-a-tete?”

“Yeah.” God, she would have paid so much money to see that.

“They showed up at the tavern I was drinking at, offered me all the gold and jewels I wanted, and asked for me to take them to Regina. I refused their payment, insisting the only thing that would satisfy me would be my revenge.”

“And by insisting, I’m assuming …”

“Aye, I may have insisted rather musically,” he admitted.

“So you’re upset because you refused?”

“No, I agreed,” he said. “They realized I wanted revenge on the Dark One and told me they had him prisoner. We struck a deal, and I brought them to Regina as requested.”

“Okay.” Was he upset that her parents had almost been complicit in him murdering Gold? That he’d brought them to Regina like they’d asked? “I don’t get what’s wrong,” she admitted.

“I–” He took a deep breath. “It’s just so strange.”

“Killian–”

“Emma, you were there.”

“I–what? No, I wasn’t.”

“Yes, you were.”

Oh. Oh.

“So you’re upset because you bumped into my mom when she was pregnant with me?”

“I’m not upset,” he corrected. “It’s just odd, isn’t it? Here I am, singing about how all I care about is revenge, and my unborn wife is right there.”

She couldn’t help it. She wished she could have, with her husband sitting next to her, clearly struggling with the whole scenario. She should have been supportive and understanding.

But she couldn’t help it. She burst out laughing.

“Oi, this isn’t funny, Swan.” The giggles would not stop. “Swan, please, you can’t tell me you don’t find this at least slightly strange!”

“Oh come on,” she said, trying to regain her breath. “Killian, you’re, like, three hundred years older than I am and that hasn’t mattered to either of us.”

“But this is different!”

“Not that different.” She burst out laughing again. “Oh my god, you, like … practically serenaded me while I was in the womb!”

“It wasn’t a serenade, and I wasn’t–love, you must stop laughing.”

“Sorry, I’m sorry!” But she couldn’t.

He sighed angrily and moved away, turning to shut off the lamp on his nightstand. “Well, good night, then.”

“Killian, come on.” Okay, it was less funny now. Still funny, obviously, but with how upset he was getting, she needed to cut it out. “Look, it’s really not that weird.”

“Isn’t it?”

“Will it be weird when I get pregnant to sing to our unborn kid?” He didn’t answer. “Because that’s a normal thing, you know? And then they come out and grow up into adults, and you don’t sit there feeling weird that you used to sing to them before they were born.”

Not that she’d had any experience in that area. Even if she hadn’t had a cellmate in juvie, she probably wouldn’t have tried singing to her baby bump. But that had been a different situation; if Neal hadn’t given her up, and they’d stayed together, the two of them would definitely have done it.

“I know that’s different,” she said, when Killian didn’t respond. At least her giggles had subsided. “Because it’s your kid and not your future spouse. But still, it’s really not that weird.”

“No, that’s not it.” His voice was tentative, like he was unsure of what he was about to say. “Just … when you get pregnant?”

She froze. She’d made offhanded references to hypothetical siblings for Henry, but at no point had she explicitly told Hook that she wanted more kids. And now it had just kind of slipped out, and not in a way that she would have wanted to put it when she eventually brought it up.

“I’m sorry,” she said quickly. “I know we haven’t talked about it. I shouldn’t have said it.”

“No, no.” And now his arms were around her again. “You want more children, Emma?”

“I mean … yeah, I do. I guess we should have talked about it before we got married and stuff.”

“Because you believe that I’m not interested in having children with you?”

“I didn’t say that,” she pointed out. “Just, you’ve told me that Milah never wanted more kids and you were fine with that.”

“I loved Milah deeply,” he said. “I knew that being with her meant that my only experience as a father would be if we went back for Baelfire, and I was willing to accept that life. But it wasn’t because I didn’t want children of my own.”

“Oh.”

His arms tightened around her. “Swan, I would love to have children with you. More than anything.”

“Oh?” Her heart beat faster.

“Mmhmm.”

“Okay, but you have to promise me something.”

“Anything.”

“You’ve got to sing that song for me.”

My Love for You

Word Count: 1447

Summary: When Elena Gilbert walks in on you and your husband, Elijah Mikaelson having an intimate moment, Elijah relays a bit of your past and expresses to her his feelings for you.

Requested By: @badhippiehabits

Can you do an Elijah Mikaelson imagine? Where the reader and Elijah were together and married before he was turned and when he was turned she was turned too. And when Elijah and the reader go to help Elena with Klaus, Elena walks in on Elijah and the reader having a cute moment and when the reader is leaving she over hears Elena asking Elijah about their love and he gets all glossy eyes and tell her about their story and how their love will never die. Please and thank you❤️

Pairings: Reader x Elijah Mikaelson

Author’s Note: Sorry this took so long it’s my first request and I wanted it to be as perfect as I could possibly make it!

It was Elijah’s night to make dinner and as always the delectable scent of his cooking lured you downstairs and into the kitchen.

“Mm.” You said upon entering the kitchen. “I don’t know what you’re cooking but as usual it smells delicious!” You walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist.

He chuckled. “Thank you, my sweet.”

You kissed his shoulder blade, spreading your hands along the strong, muscular planes of his chest. “I love you Elijah Mikaelson.”

He turned off the stove and spun around to face you. Taking either side of your face in his hands, he leaned down until your faces were mere inches apart. “I love you more, y/n”

“Impossible,” you smirked.

He wrapped his arms around you. You placed your hands on his chest. He leaned in further and kissed you. Slowly, your eyes closed and you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him closer.

That kiss was perfect. It could have gone on forever and neither one of you would have noticed. And then you heard it. A soft knock at the doorway.

You broke apart, startled. Elijah shoved you behind him. He tensed, barring his fangs ready to protect you from the world itself if necessary.

Elena, stood wide-eyed in the doorway of the kitchen.

Elijah relaxed his stance and began straightening his shirt collar. “Um, hello Elena.”

You dipped your head in greeting. “Elena.”

“Hi.” Elena said in a meek voice followed by a tiny wave.

You laughed breathily.

“How did you get in here?” Elijah asked, folding his arms across his chest.

Elena’s lips moved but no words came out.

A smile tugged at your lips. You wondered if it was Elijah making her nervous or if her own embarrassment had left her tongue-tied. Maybe both, you decided.

“Elena!” you exclaimed.

“I knocked but no one answered!” she finally said. “And both of your cars were in the driveway so I figured that either you two were avoiding me or something terrible happened to you! I’m sorry! I don’t usually go barging into other people’s homes but I really, really need to talk to Elijah! So I tested the door…and it was unlocked…and then I found you guys…in here….kissing…”

When Elena finished she was nervously wringing her hands and looking down at her shoes like a child who’d gotten caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. It was so adorable that you were nearly in tears trying to keep yourself from laughing.

Elijah cleared his throat awkwardly. “And what is that you need to speak to me about, Elena?”

The doppelganger sighed, throwing her hands in the air. “Klaus is up to his old tricks again.”

You and Elijah groaned in unison. You’d had enough of Klaus and ‘his old tricks’ to last you a lifetime.

“Well, in that case I’m going back upstairs to—“

“Keep the bed warm?” Elijah finished.

You gaped at him in shock. He was rarely so playful in front of anyone outside of his immediate family.

From the corner of your eye you saw Elena’s cheeks turn bright red.

“Elijah! We have a guest,” you scolded, gesturing to Elena.

“What?” he laughed.

You playfully swatted him on the arm. He returned the favor by swatting you on the behind. You yelped in surprise.

“No, no! It’s fine. I did break into your house after all…” Elena’s cheeks reddened further.

“What is wrong with you?”

Elijah shrugged. “I love you. That’s all.”

You smiled and pecked a kiss on his cheek.

Striding past Elena and out of the kitchen, you spoke, “Just yell if he steps out of line, Elena.”

The two snickered as you made your way upstairs and into the master bedroom.

“Please excuse my crude behavior, Elena.” You heard your husband say from below.

“No, it’s fine. You and y/n are adorable together.”

“Thank you. I’m glad you think so.”

“How long have you been together?”

“Since I was human,” you could almost hear the grin in his voice.

“Wow… What’s it like?”

“What’s what like?”

“Being with the same person for over a thousand years… I can’t imagine being with just the same person for one thousand years.”

“I suppose that it’s all about the person. I can’t imagine a day without my y/n at my side.”

Climbing into your bed you beamed with pride and pleasure.

“That’s beautiful, Elijah.”

“It’s true too.”

She laughed. “So how did you meet y/n?”

“We sort of grew up together. Our fathers were in business together, my father was a wealthy landowner and y/n’s father was a contractor. My father owned the land and y/n’s father built the houses on the land.”

“So your family was supportive?”

Elijah snorted. “Our mothers were supportive and so were my siblings. Rebekah especially. Y/N is like the sister she never had. Our fathers on the other hand were furious.”

You shuddered at the memory.

“Why?”

“Who knows? I remember Mikael went out of his way to make y/n uncomfortable every time she visited our home. Y/N’s father, thankfully at least tried to be civil when I was over.”

“That was nice.”

“Yes, but when I left he would yell at y/n so loudly that the whole village could hear.”

A chill crept up your spine, you could still hear the roar of your father’s voice in your ears.

“Oh.” She said flatly.

Elijah snickered lightly. “It’s okay though. We got through it. And we’ll get through anything else that life throws at us so long as we are together.”

Your lips twitched, fighting a smile.

“That’s really beautiful.” Elena said softly. “You really, truly love her, don’t you?”

“That woman up there is my world,” you heard him say.

“That’s amazing. When I was little my mom used to read to me stories about princes and princesses finding their soulmates and true loves. When I grew older I tossed the whole idea of true loves and soulmates aside. It all sounded so…childish and unrealistic. And yet here I am looking right at in you and y/n.”

Elijah released a breathy laugh. “Well if true loves and soulmates are indeed real then there is no doubt in my mind that y/n is mine. I love her like I have loved no other. Her very existence completes me. Her eyes, her scent, her personality bewitches me… I remember that on the night of our hundredth wedding anniversary party I looked upon the face of my wife with such overwhelming love that I was afraid I might burst before the first toast could be made. Just days before the celebration I was wondering if it would always be like this, if my love for her would ever fade. Nine hundred years later I think it’s safe to say that the answer to that question is no.” He laughed.

But you weren’t laughing at all. You were crying. Your husband’s words had brought you to tears. His voiced feelings hit you where you needed it most. You too had shared your husband’s worries and for centuries you dreaded the day when your husband would lose interest in you or when someone new would manage to catch his eye. Now you knew that that day would never come.

You heard Elijah sniff a couple of times.

You swallowed your laughter. He felt it too, you realized, the relief, the overwhelming euphoria of being and feeling completely content and satisfied in your relationship and in the one you love.

“So what was it you needed, Elena?”

X

When Elena departed, Elijah resumed cooking dinner and made a quick and sharply-worded phone call to his brother, Klaus.

When he was done, he entered your bedroom with a gleaming silver tray in his hands. He grinned at you, sitting the steaming tray with your dinner on it at the foot of the bed. “I thought we might eat in bed for a change.”

He leaned down and kissed your lips. His lips were soft and warm against your own but kiss remained strong.

You stroked his cheek, his stubble scratched at your palm. “I love you with all of my heart, Elijah Mikaelson.”

His cheeks colored a tad. “I knew you were listening.”

“You meant it? All of it?”

“Every last word.” He confirmed.

“I feel the same,” you told him. “I’ve never felt as strong, or as confident, or as beautiful or as…whole as I have in these last one thousand plus years I have spent at your side. When I’m with you no matter where I am the world is brighter, kinder. Thank you for being my husband, Elijah and thank you for making me your wife.”

He would do it randomly at home. You were having a bad day and was stressed out because of work. You were not in the mood to talk no matter how much he insisted.

“Oh that’s too bad.” he finally said. “Because I wanted to ask if you would be willing to marry me.”

“What? Chanyeol, please repeat what you just said.” you asked him, trying to hide your trembling voice.

“Will you marry me?”

“Oh my god yes!” you shouted jumping in his arms.

It was your anniversary, so he took you to a fancy restaurant that had a beautiful view of the city. You two were having dinner when he took your hands in his while you just looked at him in surprise.

“You know what would make this evening even more special?” he asked and took the ring out of his pocket.

“This.” he smiled. “Y/N Y/L/N will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”

You didn’t expect this at all so you just kissed him as the answer.

“I will take that as a yes.” he chuckled.

“Jongdae, please don’t.” you laughed pulling them under the blanket.

“Come on Y/N! Wake up it’s already noon.” he said getting on top of you. “If you don’t I might tickle you to death.”

“Anything but that.” you laughed, burying yourself under the blankets and pillows. He lay down next to you.

“I know what will wake you up.” he said. You poked your head out to have a look and when you noticed what he’s holding you quickly turned around.

“Whaah! Y/N what are you doing?” he said rolling you over to him. “Baby, are you crying? Is that a yes then?” he smiled.

One day he took you to the studio which was really surprising as he liked working alone and when he asked you if you want to hear a new song he wrote, you were beyond shocked as he rarely sang to you without an occasion no matter how much you begged. He put the headphones on for you and you both smiled when your eyes met.

“I dedicate this one to you.” he said into the mic before singing.

The melody was beautiful and the song itself was about you two and by the time he finished, you were bawling your eyes out but it wasn’t over yet as he still had one question to ask.

“Y/N.” he said. “I love you. Will you marry me?”

“Soo-” was all you managed to say before you started weeping again and he took you in his arms.

“Yes.” you mumbled.

He was really clingy and awkward the whole day, so when you two finally got back home and he went to the balcony, you followed after him.

“What’s up with you today? You’re not being yourself. Are you hungry? Need a snickers or something?” you laughed.

“Come here you.” he pulled you into his lap.

“I have been meaning to ask you something this whole day but never got the perfect chance but since we are here alone…”

“What are you getting at?”

“Aish, let me finish. So impatient.” he positioned you so you could see his face.

“How do I do this?” he said searching for the ring. “Ah! I lost it!”

“Yifan, your jeans pocket and I already know what you want to do and the answer is yes.” you laughed and kissed him.

“Baekhyun, what’s this?”

“Oh my God!! Y/N where did you find this?” he snatched the box from your hand.

“This wasn’t supposed to happen, I had this whole evening planned out and when I asked you to marry me, you were supposed to be so shocked that -” he began blurting out all kind of excuses when you kissed him to shut him up.

“The answer is yes, you big idiot.”

“Y/N will you marry me?” he asked.

You couldn’t believe it and just got on your knees as well and hugged him so tight and started crying.

“Aww, Jagi, don’t cry.” he said trying to contain his tears as well.

“Then why are you crying?” you chuckled.

“Don’t get me wrong. This is supposed to be a happy moment, I’m only crying because you haven’t answered me yet.” he tried lying and you just laughed to that.

“Of course it’s a yes.” you said wiping his tears away.

“No no no, you can’t dance with me today.” he said stopping you.

“Why not?”

He thought for a few seconds and decided to abandon the choreo and the plan he had in mind.

“Ahh, I can’t resist you.” he said pulling you to him.

You two got so lost in dancing with no music, so you didn’t even notice when he stopped and took your hands in his.

“I had another idea for this day but I’m sure it will be a memorable one either way.” he told you getting the ring out.

You just gasped and before saying anything, kissed him.

“Yes.” you said after pulling away. “And you were right, I will never forget this moment.”

“What’s that?” you asked.

“I bought you a star.” he smiled. “It’s that little one on the far right-” he started when you interrupted him.

“Are you serious?”

“Is it that unbelievable?” he laughed.

“Let me see this.” you snatched the paper out of his hand and unfolded it.

“What’s this?” you said showing him the words “Marry me” printed on it.

“Exactly what it says. Will you marry me?”

You just crumpled the paper and lowered your head down.

“What’s wrong?” he asked when he noticed tears in the corners of your eyes.

“Of course I will.” you said, finally jumping in his arms.

“You got me scared there for a second.” he laughed. “You know, I really did buy you that star…”

“I decided to bake you a cake.”

“Why?” you laughed.

“Just taste it.” he said handing a piece.

You took a bite not knowing what to expect and to your surprise it was actually really tasty.

“Oh my God, this is so good!” you were about to say when you almost choked on something solid. You took the ring out of your mouth and just looked at Yixing with a judgemental expression.

“Are you serious?”

He couldn’t help but laugh.

“I’m sorry it wasn’t supposed to be in the cake it was supposed to be on the plate.” he laughed but then you realized what you’re holding.

“Are you serious!?” you screamed in excitement and hugged him.

“Will you?”

“Will this be enough for an answer.” you said kissing him.

“Are you cold?” he asked intertwining your fingers.

“Not yet.” but he still took off his jacket and put it on you. You were walking for a while, just enjoying the view when he stopped when the sun was almost set.

“You know.” he said searching around his pockets when he realized the box is in his jacket. He hugged you, so you wouldn’t see him taking it out but you didn’t want to release him.

“You’re so warm.” and he just laughed to that.

“Well I would love to hold you like this but can you let go of me for while?”

“No.” you stated and he sighed.

“Fine.” he said still embracing you as he put the box in your hand. “Here.”

“Is that?”

“Yes.”

“Oh my God. OH MY GOD!” and you hugged him even tighter.

“Can’t this wait till morning?”

“It’s already morning.”

“Then that’s a no.” you said and closed your eyes but he picked you up, blankets and all.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m taking you to the roof.”

“What? No. It’s cold outside, put me down.”

“That’s a no.” he said. “If it’s the cold you’re scared of then I will keep you warm.” he smirked going out of the apartment.

He sat down on one of the chairs and put you in his lap.

“You look so cute wrapped in those blankets.” he said pulling you closer to him. “Look.”

You opened your eyes and saw the sun rising.

“It’s beautiful.”

“You’re prettier.” he chuckled and opened the box in front of you. “Will you marry me?”

You tried turning around but the blankets restricted your movement, so the chair lost it’s balance and you both fell over. You both started laughing when you freed your hands on put them on his cheeks, squeezing them.

“Yes.” you said and kissed him.

don’t cry tonight after the darkness passes, baby don’t cry tonight it’ll become as if it never happened

You stumble out of the bar, dragging your heels and bag behind you. Your disheveled hair reeks of vodka and mixed cocktails, the smell making you gag every second. It’s 2am on a Tuesday night, and you’re wasted on the empty streets, jobless and abandoned.

The alcohol-suppressed memories dance around your hazy mind, and any recollection of the atrocity that happened this afternoon makes you sick. You wobble through the dark, empty path only lit by a flickering yellow street lamp near the end. Somewhere down the line, your legs give in, and you collapse onto the cold graphite road, making your exposed thighs shiver. You wince and groan, pulling yourself onto the wall of a nearby store, which closed hours ago.

“Just my fucking luck,” you curse at your phone, whose screen remain lifeless. You throw your head back onto the wall and stare at the swirling buildings. How can someone lose everything in one night?

Part1 Part2 Part3 Part4 Part 6

Mulligan let you sleep in his tent instead, criticizing Hamilton for treating you this way. You really wanted to tell him what was actually going on, but it seemed too unrealistic, so you kept it to yourself. You also knew that he liked you, so whenever he flirted with you, you would blush, looking away from him. Lafayette and Laurens talked to you often, trying to find a way to help you get back. It has been more than a month, and you still did not receive that clue from the woman.

Hamilton ignored you most of the time, a permanent scowl on his face when you were near. It broke your heart, and you had to continue to tell yourself that this was not him, that he was no such an asshole. The lines began to blur, though, and you couldn’t help but slowly despise him as well.

Hamilton walked into Hercules’s tent, surprised that you were sitting right there. He ignored you, pretending that you did not exist. Eventually, when he saw you reading a piece of paper, he raised his eyebrows at you. “Hmm, I did not expect you to be able to read.” He said, distracting you.

“What’s that suppose to mean, Hamilton?” You said, exasperated at his insult already.

“You seem uneducated, shame, you were more interesting when I though you could not read.”

“Get out, Hamilton.” Mulligan glared at him, and he shrugged, marching out. Mulligan looked at you, and you shrugged, turning your eyes back to the paper.

It grew to the point where you avoid one another as often as possible. The three boys noticed the change of relationship between the two of you, and tried to let you talk it out, much to your appreciation. But you shook your head at them, telling them that it will never work, that Hamilton will always hate you. After a few days of this, Mulligan pulled you into a tent, closing the tent door behind him.

“Look, Miss Y/N, I do not know what is going on between the two of you, but it needs to end. The atmosphere whenever you two are together, is deadly. I could barely talk with all the anger in the room. We need to get you back home, so that you may be comfortable again. I cannot stand to see you two hate each other.” Your heart warmed at his concern, and you finally realized that you needed to tell him what was going on. So that he could help you.

“Herc, I, there’s something I need to tell you.” You confessed, and he nodded, pulling back a curtain. You widened your eyes, seeing Laurens and Lafayette standing there, their arms crossed against their chest. “What the…? Am I being lectured? You set this up?”

“We need to know what’s going on. Hamilton wanted to court you, and now, he could not stand to look at your face. Please, let us help you.” Laurens pleaded. “I hate seeing my friends like this.”

“Laurens is right, Miss Y/N. I am the tired of arguments. I would like the peace, please.” Lafayette always pronounced his s and a z, and it was cute hearing the accent. Mulligan looked at you, determined.

“I like you, Miss Y/N. But I know that Hamilton liked you, and I would like to know what had happened before I take you away from him.” His eyes were serious, no joking whatsoever. You blushed, looking away from the intense gaze.

You were smart enough to see that Mulligan liked you, but too stupid to see that Hamilton liked you as well. No wonder he was extremely kind and pleasant towards you. Emphasis on was. It was disheartening to think about his heart being affected by that witch.

“I, it’s a curse.” You said and Mulligan snapped his fingers, nodding.

“Makes sense. That was one of our ideas, please continue, Miss Y/N.” You scoffed at his cockiness, but spoke anyway.

“When Herc brought us to the home of that lady, we found her, we didn’t just walk in and find nothing. She let us in, and gave us this, this substance. We were given all these different colors, and we drank it. She sort of, made you guys get into this trance, and gave me an ultimatum. Either you guys stay that way, or she makes Hamilton hate me. I know, I should not have taken the deal. But you guys were just helping me, I didn’t want you to be stuck like that. You didn’t see it, you didn’t see how soulless you were, how empty your eyes were. I hated seeing you that way.” Tears grew in your eyes, and you were pulled into their arms, all of them squeezing you as right as possible.

They all told you that it was okay, that they would have chosen the same. “That’s the thing, you guys. I didn’t even say yes, but she did it anyway. She just, she made him hate me.”

“Y/N, do you have any idea why? Why she would do this?” Laurens asked, and they all let go to look at you.

“She said something about me hurting her before? That I did the same to her? I honestly have no clue why this happened, she probably mistook me for someone else. I don’t even belong here.” You rubbed your head.

“She said that you did the same thing to her?” Mulligan repeated, looking at the other men. You nodded, puzzled.

“Yea, why?”

The three men exchange looks, like they were speaking to each other while keeping their mouths closed. You looked at them, wondering what they were thinking. “Guys, tell me. What’s up?” You asked again.

They sighed, and Mulligan began to speak. “When we first got to the camp, there was this woman. She was quite interesting, she wore a long, black gown. When she saw Alexander, she immediately came up to him, telling him that they belonged together.” You raised your eyebrow. “Yes, well, he thought the same thing. But then she started speaking about this person that may appear in front of him and trick him to like her. She said that she may dress or look different than us. She told Hamilton not to trust her, that the woman that was coming was there to kill him.”

“That's…how?” You said, rubbing your head.

This was too much. She tells Hamilton that they’re supposed to be together, and that you were going to kill him. That makes no sense.

“But, now that I’m thinking about it, I cannot remember what she looked like. It is blurry.” Mulligan closed his eyes, thinking.

Lafayette nodded, rubbing his temples. “You’re right, Mulligan. I cannot seem to either. It’s like, like…”

“Like she wiped your memory.” You hissed. “Do you even know her name?” Mulligan shook his head, and you looked at the other two. They shrugged.

This is a mess, just a big mess.

You were transported back in time, and you find that you were supposed to be there. Then this mystery woman tells Hamilton that he’s going to run into you, that you were supposed to kill him. No wonder he was hesitate when he first met you, his hand staying on the gun. And now she puts this curse, making your friends forget and making Hamilton hate you.

“What is going on?” You said to no one in particular, sitting down on Lafayette’s bed. “I was just looking at images,” you glanced up at the boys, “paintings of a celebrity, and now, now, I made this stupid curse happen? Wow, I completely destroyed the future. Say goodbye to computers and television and porn.”

“Do not put all of the blame on yourself, Y/N.” You noticed that Laurens dropped the miss in your name. “It’s all of ours. We took the chance on this witch, and it was an error in judgement. We will figure this out, we will put Hamilton back to how he was before we encountered that witch.” Laurens tightened his fists, ready to fight.

“Laurens is right, Y/N. We are in together. Friends will do this together. Friends will support the each other.” You smiled at them, then looked at Mulligan. He was looking at you all, smiling.

“Now there is two wars to fight. By the way, what were you saying? Porn?” Mulligan asked, mildly curious.

“Two wars? Oh, are you talking about Y/N?” You heard Hamilton’s voice, and your heart dropped. It was hard to be in the same area as him, let alone in the same room. He did not notice you sitting there yet, since Mulligan’s stature was blocking you. “Can’t we just drop her off somewhere? It is better that she is off our hands, dealing with her is too much of a hassle.”

“You know what, Hamilton? How about treat Y/N with some respect, and stop acting like a complete bracket-faced, lobcock.” Mulligan hissed, glaring at his shorter friend. Hamilton widened his eyes, and you were confused. It sounded ridiculous, but it seemed to work, leaving Hamilton speechless.

“You do not have to be that harsh, Mulligan, you know the situation.” Laurens grumbled, hiding a smirk.

“Ah, but mon ami, he deserves it. I do not understand what he said, but it made me feel insulted.” Lafayette laughed, looking at Hamilton’s red face. You finally appeared from behind Mulligan’s figure, and Hamilton looked down at you, a frown on his face.

“Now you’ve taken my friends away from me? How kind of you.” He said sarcastically, crossing his arms. You were shocked that he was not at least a little bit embarrassed that you were there the whole time. “Why am I being treated this way? Y/N is the one that wormed her way into our lives. The three of you lads should despise her some sort of way.” Mulligan sighed, rubbing his forehead.

“You’re an ass, Hamilton.” You frowned, looking away from him. You heard him scoff in response.

“You were right, Y/N, he is insufferable.” The other two snickered. “Hamilton, we were just talking about you.” Mulligan said, looking at him. Hamilton raised a brow. “Do you remember how you felt about Y/N? Before we all went out with one another?”

Hamilton put his hand on his chin, looking down at you. “I thought that she was beautiful and smart and fascinating. But after that trip, all that seemed disappear. I finally see her for what she truly is. A-“

“Beautiful, smart and fascinating being.” Mulligan finished, looking at you. You looked away from him, and you saw out of the corner of your eyes, his shoulders slump down in defeat.

“You know that is not what I was saying.” Hamilton replied, ignoring the discourse between you and Mulligan. “I cannot stand being next to her. She is a nuisance.”

“Hamilton, if I may say, can you shut the fuck up for one second? She does not need your insults, and you are being worse than Charles Lee. Please, just stop.” Did they even use the word fuck in the 1700s? You looked at Laurens, and he was fuming, staring at his friend. This time Hamilton shut his mouth, finally startled. “Let Mulligan explain what’s going on with you. Then you can comment.”

Mulligan looked at Hamilton once more, then told him everything that I did. Hamilton nodded slowly, glancing down at you. There was still anger in his eyes, but for a moment, you thought you saw a little bit of sympathy show. It was immediately gone though, replaced with hatred. “So you are telling me that you let this woman make me this angry all the time? Do you have any notion on how this feels? To be, just, furious at anything? I thought it was because of the war, but no, it’s you, Y/N. You are the cause of this.” He began walking towards you, but he was held back by Lafayette standing in front of you.

“I do not care want to hurt you, mon ami. But if you try to land a hand on Y/N, I will surely have to.” He glowered fiercely at Hamilton, causing him to back up. You did not hear one word mispronounced in his threat, his eyes never moving from Hamilton’s. Mulligan looked at the commotion, rubbing his head. Laurens stayed quiet, deep in his thoughts. “And this is no one’s fault. No one is at fault here. Y/N did not choose for this to happen, and we did not choose to run into her. This is, how you say, fate. It is meant to happen.”

“Laf, now you’re starting to sound like Mulligan and Laurens. Do you not see that this makes no sense? This is a foolish endeavor, and I am not standing for it.”

You walked around Lafayette, standing in front of Hamilton. He stared you down, and you did the same, putting a finger on his chest. “Then sit down, Hamilton, because we have to deal with it.” You pushed him onto the bed, and he widened his eyes, looking up at you. “I get it, you hate me, you want to shoot me, you want to kill me. Whatever, I couldn’t give a flying fuck about what you think. For all I care, you could run away and act like the brat you are.”

“You know what-“ He started, but you put your hand up, silencing him.

“The Alexander Hamilton I met never acted this way. He never treated me like a piece of crap. I, I liked you, Hamilton. And I feel like I still do. And it’s hard, it’s really hard, to see past this curse that she put on you. But I believe we could rid of it, that we could find a way to stop her from making you into this, this despicable human being.” Mulligan jumped up, another idea in his eyes.

“How about this? We go to the Winter’s Ball?”

“Do you really want to party? Right now?” Laurens grumbled, staring at his Irish friend. Mulligan rolled his eyes, looking back at you.

“No. Everyone from town goes to that ball. Maybe if we go, we could find the witch there? It’s a small possibility, but if it stops Hamilton from being so infuriating and helps lift the curse, I think it is worth going. And it’s in a few days.” The rest of you looked at each other, and Hamilton sighed, getting up from the bed. He ignored looking at you, straightening his shirt.

“Fine, we’ll go. I want to feel like me again. And I want this mess with Y/N to end already, so that we could go back to worrying about the war.” Before any of us could agree with him, he walked out, leaving the four of us alone.

Lafayette looked worried, staring at us. I patted his arm softly, and he blushed. “Laf, if you could hug me before, why can’t I touch you?” He chuckled, rubbing his neck. “I agree with Hamilton, though, Herc. I want this mess to end as well, and I want you to worry about more pertinent matters than me. You have a country to create, an empire to fight. I’m standing in the way of that.”

Mulligan shook his head. “No, you are not. I told you to stop saying that about yourself. You are worth every second that I spend on you. Every second.”

You cleared your throat. “Um, thanks, Herc. I really appreciate it. I’ll go back to your tent, I’m going to take a rest.” You walked away from the rest, rubbing your face. You knew you had to tell Herc that you didn’t recuperate his feelings towards you, but he was so kind, and it was hard to let him down like that. He was your friend, but you needed to tell him that that’s all he would ever be. As you walked out, you bumped into a man. You looked at him, seeing those big, beautiful brown eyes of his. They were not kind anymore, but more of a dark, hard stare. You sighed, turning the other direction.

“Y/N, wait. I want to talk.” You stopped, turning back to him.

“About what, exactly? Are you going to insult me again? Make fun of my outfit? Try to make me cry?” You said, crossing your arms. Hamilton looked nervous, playing with his fingers. You immediately dropped your annoyance, looking at him. “Hamilton? Are you okay?”

“There is a part of me that looks at you, and I feel, I feel like I should like you. Like, we have a connection. But everytime I think of you in a positive light, this dark cloud, covers all of it. That’s why this is so hard to say. I really, really want to yell at you right now. I am holding it back so much. I hate feeling like this, like I’m not even me anymore.” You dropped your eyes to the ground.

Everyone has been trying to take the blame off of you, but it was true, you were the one who caused this. This, this witch caused this. But you were the target, she just wanted to see you suffer as you saw Hamilton suffer.

“I’m so sorry, Alex. I’m sorry I didn’t try harder to stop this from happening.” He held his head, spitting out vulgar insults and words that made the tears in your eyes fall. You made him into this monster, into this person. You ran over to him, but he pushed you away, his hands in fists.

“LEAVE Y/N, please, just go. I really want to hurt you, and I cannot stop myself for long” He cried out, staring at you. You saw your sweet Hamilton looking back at you, trapped in his own body. You got up and ran away, towards Hercules’s tent. Once you were inside, you dropped to the floor, your head in your hands.

What have you done?

Mulligan gave you a dress that he created for you to wear to the ball. You thanked him for the modest look, it not being as tight as you’ve seen in the history books. The rest of the boys just wore their revolutionary uniforms, ready to leave. Hamilton and you didn’t speak to one another, not talking about the incident that happened just days before. It was even more awkward, the other men in the room exchanging worried glances often. You did not get to see Washington, and hoped you didn’t. The way the men talked about him made him seem like a fierce man, one that you did not want to overshadow. Thankfully, the others always went to his tent, Washington never stepping in theirs.

“Are you ready, Y/N?” Laurens asked, smiling at you. You nodded, anxiously playing with the fabric on your dress. He went to touch your hair, but stopped himself, putting his hands down quickly.

“You know, in my time, if you even tried to touch me, you’ll be prosecuted and killed by gunfire.” Laurens widened his eyes in shock, and you laughed. “I’m kidding, Laurens. Just kidding.”

“Oh…” He laughed dryly, rubbing his arm. “The others are waiting for us. Mulligan got a carriage somehow, and they told me to come and get you.” You nodded, following Laurens out the tent. You walked a little with him, realizing that he was a very interesting person. He was more than just “make the first black battalion guy”, but he was kind and loud. Not as loud as Mulligan, but he was close.

You two walked to the carriage, Mulligan helping you up. You sat across from Hamilton, the scowl still stuck on his face. But his eyes glanced over you, and you could have sworn you saw the kindness come back. But just for a second.

The ride was quiet, no one even trying to start a casual conversation. It felt like a mission, like this was the end of the line. Either you found the witch, or you were stuck here, for good. The five of you arrived at the ball, Lafayette putting your arm in his. You smiled at him, the nerves bubbling in your chest.

“It will be fine, Y/N.”

“I’m not nervous Laf, do I look nervous? Oh no, is my arm sweaty? Am I sweating?” You said quickly, looking down at yourself. You looked fine. Lafayette was smiling on you, shaking his head.

“You looked beautiful, mon ami.

“Thanks, Laf. You look handsome as well.” He grinned at you happily, the other four behind you. A man held the door open for him, and you nodded, smiling. The two of you walked through, and you widened your eyes at the openness of the room. It was enormous, candles lining the walls. Lafayette led you to a table, and you noticed that it was reserved, all their names written on a paper.

“Nice, who has the connections?” You asked, touching the paper. Hamilton advanced towards you, gesturing to himself.

“Me, of course. Lads, I heard the Schuyler sisters will be here tonight.” He said, ignoring your presence once again. You scowled at him, sitting down at the table. Mulligan shrugged, taking a seat next to you.

“We’re not here to woo the women, Hamilton. We’re here to see if we could find the witch that made you like this? Remember?” Hamilton was ignoring Mulligan, sipping on a drink in his hand. He spotted a woman in the distance, and winked at all of you, striding away. Laurens sighed, sitting at the table. Lafayette did the same, glancing at his retreating friend. “He is such a hassle to deal with. I do not think I could deal with more of this.”

“We’ll figure this out, Herc. Don’t worry.” You said, smiling at him. The other boys were looking around the room, trying to spot the witch. Once they asked what she looked like, your mind drew a blank. “Oh, no, don’t tell me-“

“She erased your memory as well?” Laurens said, shaking his head at the discovery. You cursed, looking at the dance floor. All the women dancing with the men didn’t look at all familiar to you, and you soon realized that this mission was pointless.

“She may be wearing something different? Something that stands out?” Mulligan suggested.

“Or she is normal dressed, like the other maidens.” Lafayette mumbled.

“This is not going to work out well, guys, we cannot find her if we have no idea what she looks like.” You grumbled, putting your head in your hands. You noticed out of the corner of your eye, Hamilton dancing with a woman. He was laughing and smiling at her, the opposite of how he acted with you. You heart ached, watching them dance together. The woman was small, with an olive skin tone. She had long, black hair, waving in the air as Hamilton lead her. Mulligan followed your gaze, seeing you watching the two of them. He looked back at you, a pained expression on his face.

“Would you care to dance, Y/N?” Mulligan asked, holding out his hand. You widened your eyes, shaking your head quickly.

“No, I can’t, I can barely walk on my two feet.” He raised his eyebrow, still holding out his hand. You sighed, placing your hand in his. He walked you to the dance floor, and placed a hand on your waist, the other hand in yours. You put your available hand on his shoulder, and he glided across the floor, teaching you how to follow his steps. You did so, and soon, you caught up to the rhythm. He joked around with you and twirled you along.

“I like you, Y/N.” Herc said as he glided you across the floor. You looked up at him, and he smiled down sadly. “I know, you don’t have to say it. I know you do not feel the same.” You sighed. Mulligan was a really good man, an amazing man, but your feelings for him just did not feel the same as with Hamilton.

“I’m sorry, Hercules.” You whispered. He shook his head.

“There’s nothing to be sorry for, Y/N.” The conversation ended there, and he began joking around again, like he didn’t just confess his feelings towards you.

You could not help but feel safe in his arms, although you caught yourself glancing at Hamilton ever so often. He caught your eyes, looking at Hercules dancing with you. Eventually, he excused himself from dancing with the woman, bowing to her. She curtsied, and he watched her walk away.

He began walking to the both of you, but was interrupted by a woman stopping him. She wore a black dress, different from the rest of the bright colors in the room. You noticed how she touched Hamilton’s arm, caressing it softly. He looked uncomfortably, but kindly spoke to her, smiling at her softly. You looked up at Mulligan.

“Herc, do you see that lady?” He spun you around, looking over your shoulder. He nodded.

“She seems suspicious, and she’s touching Hamilton, like…”

“Like they’re da-courting. Herc, it might be her.” He nodded, letting go of your hands. He began marching over, but you grabbed his arm. “No, you can’t just do that. She’ll see you.” He looked at his friend, biting his lip.

“Then what do we do?”

“We watch her, wait until she does something stupid. Or if Hamilton does something stupid first.” You turned back to them, noticing that they began dancing. You caught her eye, and gasped, digging your fingers into Mulligan’s harm. He touched your hand, rubbing it softly.

“Y/N, what’s wrong? Are you okay?”

You could barely speak, looking at her dancing with Hamilton. Her face, no it couldn’t be. It can’t be. Lafayette and Laurens walked over, seeing that the two of you were frozen on the dance floor. They tried getting your attention, but you were stuck, looking at the two of them dance.

“Y/N! Listen to me! What’s wrong?” Herc yelled, and you finally looked at him.

“Herc…that’s, I know her.” You whispered, and he raised his eyebrow.

“What?”

“I know her! She’s, she’s my friend. She’s the one that told me about the soundtrack, she’s the one that invited me to the Hamilton show. She’s…” The witch, the one that cursed you and the boys.

She was your best friend.

Theo stood before me, looking back and forth between Liam and I. The discomfort was far too palpable to handle. I, (Y/N) (Y/L/N), had two soulmates. This shouldn’t be possible. Not too long ago, I wasn’t ready to have any soulmates and now two stand before me. One ready to kill the other, while the other had no idea what was going on.

“I think you’re a little confused kid. Hate to break it to you, but she’s my soulmate, so anything you two have had before is pretty much obsolete”, Theo smiled

Liam hands were at his side, balled into fist. He was ready to explode at any given moment and Theo still had no idea what was going on.

“I think you’re the one that’s confused kid. I met my soulmate weeks ago and she happens to be (Y/N). Maybe you’re necklace is broken”, Liam seethed

“I highly doubt that’s be true”

Both eyes landed on me. Suddenly my mouth was dry and I was at a loss for words. If something wasn’t said, I feared the entire student center would be destroyed by two young men fighting over a soulmate.

This was going to be a disaster.

“Liam is my soulmate”, I began as a triumphant smile spread across Liam’s face, “But I’m pretty sure Theo is mine as well. I can feel it”

“How!? You just met me and now you have another. How does that even work!?”, he nearly yelled

Theo stood there taking it all in. Clearly this was more than he expected when he thought he would be meeting his soulmate and not his soulmate’s soulmate as well.

“Liam I’m just as confused as you are–”

“I’m not”, Theo finally said, “Everything about you feels right to me and if that means having to deal with you having another soulmate, then it’s a risk I’m willing to take, but you have to be willing to”

My heart was racing a mile a minute. Of all people, it had to be me. I’m not at all surprised either. This is what I get for complaining about the entire soulmate ordeal for so long.

“This is a lot to take in for one night. I think we should get together later or meet individually to talk this over”, I let out, “I…we need some time to think about what’s going on. It’s a lot to take in”

Theo nodded in agreement, sending a small smile my way, which didn’t go unnoticed by Liam who visibly tensed.

I grabbed my bag and made my way to the door, “Goodnight Theo. It was nice to meet you”

In two strides he was right next to me. He was absolutely beautiful. I chastised myself for thinking that way in front of my soulmate, but he was my soulmate too. A smile crept along my face as we awkwardly said our goodbyes and he left.

The moment soon ended when my eyes landed on Liam’s. A mixture of pain and agony etched his features and I was at a loss again. When I reached out to hug him, he quickly pulled himself out of my grip.

“Liam, I–”

“He needs to stay as far away from you as possible”, he coldly stated, “There I thought about it”

He brushed past me, leaving on my own.

For the next four days, Liam was attached to my hip. I had no chance of telling our friends that there was someone else destined to be apart of my life with him breathing over my shoulder the way he did. Although, I’m sure he already told Mason who undoubtedly already told Corey. The looks of pity were always being sent my way. No one noticed that Liam was staying by my side throughout the week and it wasn’t because of love and affection. It was fear and jealousy.

I knew how I felt about him and that has yet to change, but these feelings for Theo have peaked my interest. I needed to know where this was headed and why I was destined to be with the both. I can’t spend another day knowing my soulmate was here on campus and I wasn’t even allowed to utter his name.

As we sat in the cafeteria, my mind started to wonder. There was little to be known about Theo Raeken. Was his personality similar to mine? Liam? A little of both? If he was my soulmate, where did that leave Liam and I?

“(Y/N)? (Y/N)!”, Kira called

“What?”

“We were asking how things are going with you and Liam”

“It doesn’t seem that bad given he hasn’t left your side for four whole days”, Lydia snickered

“Oh. We’re…we’re good”, I mumbled as Liam tensed right beside me

Lydia eyed us quizzically before giving up, “That’s good to hear”

With the knowledge of who her soulmate was, I knew this wasn’t the last I would hear of it. The direction of the conversation steered towards our plans for the upcoming Friday night, but I could care less.

Liam kept his eye on me majority of the time, while the others argued over going to the movies or bowling. I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my head as I fiddled with my necklace. It was already warm because he was right next to me. As my thoughts trailed off to Theo once more, the necklace burned hotter. Slowly, I look across the room to see Theo taking a seat not too far from us. As soon as his eyes are on mine, he gives me a small smile, then gives his undivided attention to Tracy and Josh.

I can feel my heart pounding in my chest as the butterflies in my stomach start to flutter. I just wanted to talk to him. How would anyone react if they knew who their soulmate was, but couldn’t even talk to them?

“(Y/N)? What are you doing?”, Liam asked so only I could hear

“What? I haven’t done anything”

“You’ve been staring at him this entire time!”

“Liam, I don’t know what’s going on. I told you before that I didn’t even want to meet my soulmate and now I have TWO!”, I yelled, “I didn’t ask for any of this!”

The entire room grew silent as all eyes were on me. Our friends watched in shock as I ran out the cafeteria to distance myself from Liam.

Avoiding him wasn’t that difficult, especially with Malia, Lydia, and Kira staying by my side. They walked me to class as well as to and from work just to keep Liam at bay. They wanted to know everything about my other half, but they didn’t want to push me. It’s not like I could hide it from them forever.

“You know you don’t have to come out with us tomorrow, right?”, Kira suggested

“We know you’ve had a lot on your mind lately”, Lydia chimed in

“I want to come with you guys”, I said as I unlocked my door, “I’ve had time to think about it, but I’ve been thinking about it too much. I just want to forget about it for one night”

“I have a feeling Mason will drag Liam there for the same reason”, Lydia said sending me a sympathetic smile

“I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine”

Malia sat across from me fiddling with the contents on my desk, “So (Y/N)…”

“Do you plan on asking about Theo?”

“Theo? As in Theo Raeken? He’s your other soulmate!?”, Malia nearly shrieked

“Yeah, why? Have you seen him?”

“He’s hot”, they all said in unison

We all burst out in laughter. Clearly I wasn’t the only one who noticed. I spent the next fifteen minutes explaining how I met Theo in the first place and how Liam has been ever since their encounter.

“I have no idea what I’m doing. Theo and I haven’t spoken to each other since then. I want to talk to him so bad and get to know him, but…”

“Liam”, Malia finished, “It’s because he’s afraid he might lose you. Somehow your heart belongs to the both of them”

“Of course he does, but he can’t keep her from him. It will cause problems in the end”, Lydia responded

“What kind of problems?”

“You met Theo, yet you haven’t had your time with him like you did with Liam. Remember you avoided us for days after you met?”

“Yes?”

“It happens to all soulmates after they meet. They live in their own little bubble for a few days…weeks even. It’s a chance to get to know them better. You’ve already met Theo, yet you haven’t seen him since. It won’t be long before your chest starts burning and you’ll start having a lot of mood swings. It only worsens until you actually–”

“So that’s what that was”, I said as I gripped my chest, “It started yesterday morning, thought it was heartburn”

Lydia’s eyes widened, “What college students do you know that get heartburn?”, she sighed, “Maybe it feels that way now. Eventually, it starts to feel a lot worse. You have to work things out with Liam and talk to Theo”

Friday night finally came and I had yet to see Theo anywhere on campus. Liam decided to stay out of my way for a while. The burning sensation in my chest has slowly intensified. It’s nothing I can’t handle for another night.

“You want another round of shots?”, Scott asked as he downed his beer

I nodded excitedly.

“Alright another round of shots!”, Scott called to the bartender as all of us cheered

We spent majority of the night dancing and drinking. Even if everyone was paired off with their soulmate, I was having the time of my life…just a little. A part of me still felt lonely as I watched Kira grin from ear to ear as Scott whispered something to her.

As I downed my shot, I was already began to feel the affects of drinking all night.

“I think you’ve reached your limit (Y/N)”, I heard a familiar voice chastise me from behind

I smirked at Liam before turning my attention back to the bartender, “One more shot please”

“I didn’t think I’d catch you here tonight”

“Is that what you really thought? We have the same friends”, I said as I downed another shot

“You really should stop. You’re way past your limit”

“There you go again with telling me what to do. First, I’m not allowed to talk to Theo. Now I can’t even drink”

“I see you haven’t stopped thinking about him yet”, he scoffed

The pain in my chest intensified as I glared at Liam.

“Why would I? Whether you like it or not he’s my soulmate and I can’t change that. The longer I stay away, the more pain I’m in”, I grimaced as I grabbed my chest

It was beginning to feel unbearable.

“What are you talking about?”

“The longer I stay away from Theo, the more I–”

It felt like flames were engulfing my chest. I let out a groan and tried to make my way out the bar. Combining alcohol with being pushed away from a soulmate was going to be the death of me. I was soon regretting those final shots.

My vision began to blur as I  made it to the door and passed out in someone’s arms.

Unlike most mornings, I didn’t wake up with my face buried in a soft pillow. I managed to peel my eyes open only to realize there wasn’t a pillow insight. For some reason I was resting my head on someone’s chest. A firm chest I might add.

Whoever it was managed to get me out of the bar and away from Liam. Just as I began to panic, I finally noticed the heat from my necklace. The pain I felt in my chest the night before had vanished. I vaguely remember drinking, seeing Liam, then nothing. I didn’t recall seeing Theo that night.

Given that he’s my soulmate, I shouldn’t be this nervous to speak to him. I’ve hardly had the chance to even have a full conversation with him and here I am in his bed.

“Are you up?”, a sleepy voice asked

I nearly jumped out my skin as his voice broke the silence.

“Y–yes, I’m up”

“I’ve been awake for about an hour now. I didn’t have the heart to move you”

Silence took over yet again as pulled myself away from him and sat up with him.

“You should know that nothing happened between us. I caught you when you passed out. You were–”

“Arguing with Liam? I remember that part”, I recalled

“I was going to stay out of it and give you your space, until you started gripping your chest. I already knew what was happening because it’s been happening to me too. I thought if I kept my distance until you knew what you wanted to do, it would make it easier on the both of us, but clearly I was wrong. Seeing you go through the same pain I was going through made it so much worse. So I took you away from the party”

“Liam let you take me away?

“Let you?”, he scoffed, “He didn’t have a choice. Who knows what would have happened if we kept it up (Y/N). Even if you decide that you only want one soulmate, I’ll still do everything in my power to protect you”

I hated the thought of having to choose one soulmate over the other. Judging by the look on his face, he didn’t want me to. I don’t think I’d want to either because that would mean hurting someone and I don’t think I can deal with that.

“It is nice to finally talk to you again”, he said as his began to grin

“Me too Theo”,  I giggled, “What do we do now?”

“Clean up, eat, and talk. In no particular order”, he says as he swings his legs over the bed and makes his way to his closet

This was the moment I’ve been waiting for. Theo and I spent the entire day in his room catching up on things we never knew about each other. His confidence took me by surprise. He wasn’t too cocky, but there were many things he was so sure about.

Every time we made eye contact, my heart leapt in my chest. He sat across from me on his bed, his focus on me refusing to waiver.

Theo and I spent the next week, lasting all of fall break, together. I never thought I would ever end up feeling this way about anyone ever again. We talked about anything to came to mind. Things were easy with him, just like they were with Liam. Falling for them was so effortless.

“I don’t want this to end”, he said later that night as I grabbed my clothes

“I don’t either, but I have to catch up on my homework. I haven’t spoken to my friends in a week. That’s a long time for me”

“And Liam. You haven’t spoken to him either, he says softly

There was no malice in his voice, just understanding. He knew my heart belonged to the both of them and it didn’t even phase him.

“No, no I haven’t”

There was no doubt in my mind that Liam was losing his mind.

“Well regardless of what happens between the three of us, I’m always going to be here”

It certainly didn’t go unnoticed that he was now inches from my face, waiting for me to tell him if this was alright or not. I closed the gap between us and pushed my lips against his. He pressed my back against the door as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Our bodies were closer than before as he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

As his hands slid up my waist, he slowly pulled away. I rested my forehead on his, trying to catch my breath as he did the same. My legs moved from his waist and my feet finally touched the ground, but I was still in a daze.

“I didn’t mean for it to go that far”, he apologized

“Theo it’s fine. It’s not like I didn’t want to”

He looked me in my eyes and leaned forward once more, only for someone to knock on the door. Irritated, Theo pulled the door open and relaxed when he saw who came to visit.

“Hey Liam. I take it you need to speak with (Y/N)?”

“Uhh…yeah. I had a feeling she was still here”, Liam affirmed

I backed away from the door as Theo pulled it all the way open.

“Come on in”

Liam slowly walked into the space Theo and I occupied for the last seven days. He looked around until his eyes landed on me. Not only was he in pain, but he was confused as well. He didn’t know what to do and neither did I.

“(Y/N). How have you been?”

“I’ve been fine”

“If you’ve been having a good time, you can tell me. I do know the feeling”, he mumbled

“She’s not going to tell you that”, Theo said as he shut the door, “She doesn’t want to hurt you”

Liam sat in the chair by the desk as Theo and I sat on the bed, no where near as close as we were before.

“Are you still in pain?”, Liam questioned

He took in my expression before answering, “I overheard Lydia talking about it after you left”

“No, I’m not in pain anymore. Thanks for asking”

“I’m sorry. I’m the one that did this to you. I promise you it wasn’t my intention”

“Liam, it wasn’t you. It was because I was separated from Theo–”

“I was the reason you were separated in the first place. I was so jealous and scared that I would lose you that I never paid attention to how this would affect you in the end. The decision i made was for the both of us and never asked how you felt about it. If you want to choose him over me”, Liam paused as looked up at me, tears reaching the brim

“Then…then I’m fine with it. As long as you’re happy I’m happy”

Liam kissed me on the forehead. As he leaned over, a tear fell and touched my cheek. He walked out the room without saying another word.

Why did this have to happen to me? Liam was my first soulmate. There was this pull to him that I wouldn’t dare deny. I opened up to him in ways I couldn’t imagine. Theo may have been the second, but I understand why he was soulmate as well. In the end, I could only spend the rest of my life with one.

“I think I should give you some time alone. Come find me if you need me”, Theo softly said as he kissed my cheek and left me in his dorm

The necklace was still warm, but I didn’t dare take it off. A few minutes after he left, I walked out of the room to get as far away from campus as I possibly could. Eventually the heat from my necklace faded and it was freezing cold.

I didn’t want to repeat what I’ve already been saying to myself over and over. I just wanted to be by myself for once and not have to think about it. Ever since Liam and Theo came into my life, I haven’t had a second to myself whether it was mental or physical.

Honestly, I even with everything going on, the one person I missed the most was my mother. She always has the best advice and I should’ve called her sooner. I reached for my phone in my back pocket and was surprised to notice it wasn’t on me.

Maybe it was a sign that I needed to make my own decision or that I could just call her when I got back to campus.

Somewhere along the way, my legs grew tired and I was forced to turn around. The area became all too familiar once I lost my train of thought. As the lake Liam took me too came into view, I realized how much I needed to rest my legs so this was as good a place as any.

The sun was beginning to set when I took a seat under a tree. It was one of those few moments where I could stay in the same spot forever without moving a muscle. It was still warm out, the sun was beginning to set as crickets began to chirp, yet it never bothered me. I was at peace.

“What are you doing here?”, a familiar voice asked on the other side of the tree

“I always come here. The question is what are you doing here? You followed me?”

“Maybe”, Theo replied as if that was supposed to be a normal response, “I followed you because I wanted to talk to you about (Y/N)”

“What about her?”, Liam sighed

“I just want her to be happy, regardless of the decision she makes. In the end one of us will end up hurt, but as long as she isn’t stressing over this anymore I really don’t care. I may have only known her for a few weeks, but she means everything to me. Whoever she doesn’t choose..”

“Can’t try to get her to change her mind, but we can still be there for her like we already are”, Liam finished, “I never realized how difficult this must be for her. She didn’t want any of this and now she has to choose between TWO of us”

I looked past the tree to see Liam and Theo sitting side by side watching the river. Both of them had the same expression etched into their features: confusion.

As if a lightbulb went off in Theo’s head, he jumped to his feet with a smile spreading across his face.

“What if she didn’t have to choose?”

Liam sat still for a moment as he processed what Theo just said. I never thought of that before. I always believed there was only one soulmate per person. Maybe there was an exception. There had to be a reason why I could see myself being with both of them. The question is would they be alright with that? How would that even work out without the two of them being at each other’s throats?

“You think she would go for it?”, Liam finally responded

“There’s only one way to find out. What’s the worst that could happen?”

“We need some rules so we don’t overstep any boundaries, you know?”

“Yeah we should also–”

Theo paused as his eyes landed on me. I was so caught up in their conversation, I forgot to keep myself hidden.

“(Y/N)”, they said in unison

“How much of that did you hear?”, Theo asked

“All of it”, I answered as I moved away from the tree

Liam and Theo gave each other a fearful look, unsure of what I would say next. They were right. What’s the worst that could happen?

“These past few weeks haven’t been that easy for me and I’m sure you know why. The thought of having to choose and end up hurting one of you was torture. I knew I wouldn’t be happy with having to be with one knowing what I’ve done to the other”

“So what are you saying?”, Liam asked

“I’m saying we should give it a try. You, me, and Theo. We’ll work out the details sooner or later”, I grinned

As the shock wore off, Liam wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. I felt another pair of arms wrap around me as well as I noticed Theo smiling at me.

Not too long ago, I swore off trying to find a soulmate because I thought it wasn’t for me. Then I met Liam and my whole world changed. He was all I ever wanted and I was fine with that until Theo came along and I realized how much I never wanted to be without the both of them ever again. It might not be perfect, yet it was perfect for us. We’ll figure it out because it was a risk we were willing to take.

Auston Matthews - Part 26

Don’t forget to vote for the player in my next story! I will be wrapping up this AM imagine in the next week or so, with over 60,000 words I think I am ready to start on a new project! Hopefully none of you unfollow me because you were only here for Auston… Thank you so much for all the support, this has been so much fun to write and I hope you all will be satisfied with the ending coming soon!

The next few weeks is much of the same, I start at school going three times a week Tuesday through Thursday and use my free time for research that I do at home. Much to my surprise I not only become friends with Auston’s teammates and their wives/girlfriends but I actually make a few friends at school, which is a first.

I pull into my drive way to see every cars already parked in my yard along the curb on the road. Walking in the front door I see that it must be another COD night because there’s eight boys scattered around my living room, none of them Auston.
“Hello people who do not live here,” I call out, dropping my school bag onto the floor and throwing my coat onto the rack.
“Hey Y/N,” several people call out and my two pups bound up to me, flipping over onto their backs for a good belly rub.
“Where’s Auston?” I ask, still not seeing him anywhere.
“Picking up food,” Mitch answers, his eye’s glued to the T.V even though he’s not playing right now and speaking through a mouthful of carrots.
I snatch the bag of carrots out of his hand much to his dismay.
“Hey!” He yelps, trying to get the bag back.
“You owe me two bags of carrots now,” I snap at him.
“But I only ate half!” Mitch complains.
“I know, but you were pissing me off earlier this week so it’s two bags or you give me the copy of my house key you had made!”
We stare at each other in defiance until Mitch sighs.
“Fine! Two bags,” he grumbles and pouts at the T.V as I stick my hand into the bag and grab a carrot, munching on it as I put the rest back in the fridge.
“This is why I have to hide the good food upstairs because I have nine man children raiding my house every day,” I complain as I look at the messy shelves in my fridge which had been nice and organized when I left for school this morning.
“Yeah, Auston told us where it was. Can you ask your mom to send more of those mint things from Michigan?” Morgan calls from his spot in the living room. I snap the fridge door closed and whirl around to face them all.
“You ate my candy?” I almost yell.
“Not all of it, we left at least half,” Mitch calls over his shoulder.
“It was in my closet! How could you have possibly found it?” I cross my arms over my chest as I step into the living room and in front of the T.V.
“There’s eight of us, didn’t take long,” Mitch replies trying to see around me at the T.V.
I open my mouth to retort but the front door opens and in walks Auston laden with takeout bags.
“You told them where I kept my good food?” I round on him and he freezes in his tracks, opening and closing his mouth several times before stammering out a response.
“They saw me eating one when they got here, they made me tell them!” He tries to defend himself.
“You ate some of it too?” I say in disbelief. “I can’t believe you would do that to me!”
At this Auston realizes I’m not actually entirely mad and visibly relaxes.
“Now I have to find a whole new spot!” I groan and smack his arm. “And you are not allowed to eat anything else of mine upstairs!”
I hear snickering behind me and Auston’s cheeks turn a faint pink. Mitch’s face is almost turning purple from trying not to laugh when I turn around and scowl at him.
“What now?” I snap, rethinking the words I’ve said in the last few minutes, which I frequently have to do with all of them around me. I roll my eyes and throw a pillow at Mitch when I realize what he’s about to choke over. “Oh shut up,” I grumble and walk back into the kitchen muttering to myself.
I spend the rest of the evening cleaning up my kitchen and making sure the trash talking is kept to a minimum in the living room. Eventually I find myself snuggled into the corner of my sectional, two warm bodies on either side of me and I almost immediately fall asleep, my head on someone’s shoulder, I don’t know who because Auston is sitting on the floor in front of me with his back against my legs.
I don’t know how long I’ve been sleeping when the person I’m leaning on shifts below me and I snap awake.
“Didn’t drool on me, did ya?” Morgan’s voice says to my side as I rub the sleep from my eyes, ignoring him.
I look around the room and see a few of the guys have already left, Zach is asleep on the chair and Auston is now sitting on the other side of me.
“What time is it?” I try to focus on the clock.
“Almost midnight, we didn’t want to wake you to leave,” Auston says and touches my leg. “Ready for bed?” He asks, standing and taking my hand to pull me to my feet.
“Night Morgan,” I call over my shoulder and he gives me a wink, settling down onto the couch and I know he doesn’t plan on moving until morning.
Auston gets me upstairs and waits while I change my clothes in my closet, he may have seen me naked a few times in the last few weeks but we have yet to do the big thing and I’m too shy to change in front of him. When I emerge he helps me into bed and kisses me goodnight.
“I’ll see you tomorrow after the game?” He whispers and I grab his hand, tugging him back to me as he makes to stand.
“Stay, please,” I say softly and wiggle over to the middle of the bed.
“I didn’t bring my bag this time, Y/N,” he whispers and I don’t let him take his hand back.
“Then sleep naked, but stay,” I whine and when he sighs at me I know I have him.
“I don’t think it’s very fair that I’m being held against my will and have to be naked…”
“Held against your will?” I scoff. “I didn’t have to try very hard to get you to agree. But if it makes you feel better…” I shimmy out of my shorts, and shirt, leaving my undies and bra still intact. I throw them to the side and snuggle back down into my sheets and pat the bed next to me.
Auston eyes me a moment before taking a step back from the bed and dragging his shirt over his head. He doesn’t tell me to look the other way like I always ask him to, so I don’t. I watch him in the near darkness, the only light coming from the light in the backyard which glances off his skin like moonlight. My cheeks heat on their own accord, as Auston meets my gaze before turning his attention to his pants. Once those and his socks are off, he quirks an eyebrow at me.
“You said naked,” he says reaching for the waist band of his briefs and I squeal.
“No no no!” I choke out and throw my hands onto my face, covering my eyes.
Auston erupts into laughter and I feel his weight on the bed.
“You’re safe,” he teases, his arm goes across my stomach and pulls me closer. I gladly move against him and marvel at the feel of his skin against mine, a shiver going through my body.
“Thank you,” I murmur, brushing my lips against his shoulder.
“For giving you a strip tease?”
I giggle and pinch his arm. “I guess that too.”
Auston turns onto his side and trails his hand from my stomach to my chin, tilts my head back and brushes my lips with a featherlike kiss. I breathe into him, thinking that it’s not fair that such a simple kiss does more to me than I could ever do to him. Laughing softly at that revelation Auston pulls back.
“What?” He asks, the room is too dark to see his face now that he’s in bed.
“Remember when I told you that I didn’t use to like kissing?” I ask.
I think he nods but I can’t tell and he soon says. “Yes.”
“I just think about it when you kiss me. I like it,” I say lamely, pushing my head into the crook of his neck even though I know he can’t see my face.
“I would hope you like it, I do it pretty often,” Auston laughs, his whole body vibrating.
“There’s more to it, I just can’t focus,” I say, and it’s true my senses are overloaded by his smell and touch, if I could see him I would probably be incapable of functioning.
‘Why’s that,” Auston breathes, his hand slipping down my bare side, his nail just scratching my skin.
“Don’t you do that, you know exactly what I’m talking about,” I mutter, trying to focus on anything else than his hand that has now hooked behind my knee, pulling my leg up to Auston’s waist. Auston leans his head down to my neck, his lips just barely grazing my skin.
“I really don’t, you should probably explain it to me,” he murmurs, continuing along my throat to my jaw just below my ear and I make a noise in the back of my throat, shaking my head slightly, the only body movement I’m capable of right now.
“Why not?” He asks, the tip of his nose against my collar bone before his lips touch the swell of my breast, I’m grateful that I didn’t get over confident and take my bra off earlier.
“Please stop talking,” I manage to get out while my breathing makes it nearly impossible to talk.
“But don’t you want to know,” Auston whispers against my skin, “that you have the exact same effect on me.”
“I doubt that,” I mutter, arching my back slightly when he pulls his lips away from my chest, I can feel his eyes on my face even though I can’t see him.
“You don’t think that you drive me insane? Y/N, you don’t even have to touch me for me to go insane with need for you, whereas the only way I can get you like this is to actually touch you. Every time you raise your temper at me,” he says, his mouth brushing mine with every word he says. “Every touch, every whisper, every look…” he continues this time kissing me in between words. “I want nothing more than to make you feel exactly how I feel.”
I tremble underneath him, his words doing more to me than I ever thought words could do. Overly aware of his thumb making slow circles on my thigh, I make another small noise and find myself unable to form words. So instead I snap to life and pull his head down to mine, kissing him so deeply that it takes us both by surprise.
Auston rolls so he’s completely over top of me, pressing my body down into the mattress, trapped against his every move. We spend the rest of night trying to one up one another, never taking it too far.
In the morning I wake before he does, which never happens. I glance at the clock to see he has to go to practice soon and slip out of bed. Dressing myself first, I gently prod him awake. Auston groans and rolls away from me.
“Auston,” I say, grabbing his arm and rolling him back to me. “You gotta go, don’t make me get Morgan or Zach up here. They would be emotionally scarred for life seeing you like this,” I tease, although I refuse to sleep without some sort of clothing on, Auston seems to have no problem with it.
Auston groans again, his hand wrapping my waist before slipping down to my ass.
“Nuh uh,” I scold. “You have to get to your morning skate, I can hear Morgan and Zach moving around downstairs so you better get up.” I pull out of his reach and he finally cracks his eyes open to scowl at me.
“It’s your fault, you kept me up half the night,” he grumbles, rubbing his face with his hands.
“Excuse me? I never woke you up,” I remind him.
“Didn’t you? Must have been a dream then,” he smirks at me and I smack his chest. The sound echoes in the room due to his bare skin.
“You have four minutes to get downstairs,” I huff at him and turn on my heel, wandering downstairs and letting my dogs outside.
Morgan and Zach say their good mornings to me and help themselves to my orange juice, waiting for Auston.
“Coming to the game tonight?” Zach asks me, his disheveled hair sticking all over. Although he is already dressed in a suit, he must have brought one last night.
“I actually don’t know if I’ll make it,” I say over my shoulder, getting a smoothie made up. “I have a group project that my partner wants to work on tonight. Riley asked me to work on it last night but I got a little distracted at the eight thieves in my living room.”
Morgan and Zach give me devilish grins as Auston makes it down the stairs finally, also dressed in a suit already. We figured out my first week living here that he should probably have clothes on hand for game days.
“You’re not coming? Is that what you said?” Auston asks and I’m surprised at his tone, disappointment seeping into it.
“I was just telling them, I want to, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it there in person tonight. I’ll be watching though, even if it’s from here,” I give him a small smile.
Auston nods and gives me a quick kiss on the lips before grabbing the smoothie I just finished making him out of my hands.
“Guess I should be going to,” Morgan says, making a kissy face at me and I roll my eyes, putting my hand on his face as he leans into me and makes a face at me before winking at me and joining Auston at the front door. Zach eyes me a moment.
“Should I even ask…” he starts and I point to the door.
“Get out,” I say and he laughs, ducking out the front door after his teammates.
I get settled on making my own breakfast and my phone buzzes on the counter. I see it’s my lab partner and accept the call.
“Hey,” I say cheerfully into the phone.
“Hey, how’s it going?” Riley asks.
“Project wise or general wondering?”
“Both,” he laughs, I can hear pen clicking in the background and know he must be anxious, he always gets fidgety when he’s worked up about something.
“I’m going well on both of those. What were your plans for the project tonight?”
“We should work on it someplace together tonight. I would say we can use my place but my roommates are a bit loud, could we work on it at your place? I know you said that you live alone,” he asks and I hesitate just a moment before answering.
“You can come here, that’s fine. Plenty of space and its quiet,” I say, though I’m not sure Auston will like it too much because now I really won’t be able to go to his game.
“Cool, can I come around six?”
“Yeah, I’ll text you the address,” I reply, an anxious feeling pitting its way into my stomach though I don’t understand why.
“Great, I’ll bring something to eat as well. See you then,” he says a little too eagerly, hanging up before I can say anything back.
I frown at the counter where I just set my phone, something not sitting right with me. However, I shake my head and turn my attention back to my eggs in the frying pan. Overthinking was one of the ‘negative’ qualities I got from my father and my mother was always quick to remind me of it.

anonymous asked:

Hi, could you do a fic where Spideypool are a secretly married couple and have to hide the fact from citizens /enemies when they are dp&sp ?

It’s been so long, and the reason is, I GOT INTO UNIVERsITY!! Yay!! I’m gonna try and pump some of these out, but yay!!

Peter stumbled into the Avengers building, coffee cup in hand, barely awake.  Tony had called him in extra early, which was unsurprising. Ever since he had started working for stark industries, he was called in either for work business, or superhero business. Tony was the only one who knew about his double life, so it was touch and go when he walked into the building.
Peter let himself in, punching in the code to the lab tiredly.  He froze when he saw the Avengers standing around tensely. He clutched his cup to his chest and resisted the urge to pull down the mask he knew wasn’t there. They all paused in their conversation to stare at Peter until the silence was too awkward and he had to laugh nervously.
“Peter,” Tony said, waving his hand at him to come into the room. “We’re in the middle of something, but you can just come in and work. Just stay quiet over there, okay kid? I need that thing fixed.”
Peter nodded and swallowed down the feeling that he had made a mistake. Was he supposed to come in uniform? He sat in the corner and put his headphones in, but he could feel Natasha and Clint’s eyes boring into his back.
Steve cleared his throat. “Okay, so we are in unanimous agreement about what we discussed?”
Out of the corner of his eye, Peter could see a few hesitant nods.  He pulled out his toolbox and started quietly working, even though he had finished this project weeks ago.
“Good, then I guess, let’s bring him in.” He could sense a hardness in Steve’s voice that Peter recognized as dislike. He had a sinking feeling in his gut, even before the door opened and Wade’s familiar voice.
“Hi, team! I brought snacks!” Peter turned to see the bright leather of Wade’s Deadpool suit, and groaned a bit, pushing himself into the corner more. Wade hadn’t spotted him yet, but he knew his situation would be a hundred times more embarrassing when he did.
“Okay, listen pal, just because your working with us doesn’t make you part of our team,” Clint grumbled
Wade stepped forward and laughed obnoxiously. “Gee, that’s rich coming from you, cupid.”
Peter felt himself involuntarily tense. Clint was an okay guy, but he and Wade were not on good terms. He resisted the urge to turn around and tell Clint to keep his bitter remarks to himself, but Natasha beat him to it.
“Boy’s please, your making our guest uncomfortable.” He felt a tight grip on his shoulder. Oh god. Peter shrunk into himself as Natasha gave him a look, and recognition flicked across Wade like a light globe.
“Oh, this is just too good!” He laughed clapping his hands together and rubbing them cunningly as he walked around the table to stand by Peter’s hip. Peter glanced at him, trying to give Wade his best warning look, but as per usual, it had no effect.
“Where are my manners? I’m the Deadpool of your dreams. And you are the handsome beauty of my dreams. I’m digging this nerdy college boy look baby! It’s really turning my floppy drive into a hard disk if you know what I mean!”

Peter felt embarrassment crawl up his neck as Wade regarded him. The room paused again and Steve piped up.

“I’m not quite sure what that means but please, let’s get to the issue at hand, and leave Tony’s employee’s out of it.”
“Why Captain of course, but there’s nothing I’d like more to have my hand on Tony’s employee. Peter, is it?” Wade leaned down to speak to Peter, tiptoeing his gloved fingers across the desk.
Peter sighed. Wade absolutely loved doing this, pretending that they didn’t know each other. He liked having a special secret all to himself.
“Don’t worry baby boy, I know that you already know me. I’m like, big news now or whatever.”
Peter felt the corner of his mouth twitch up.  He turned back to his table, as they started discussing “important” things that they needed Wade for.
Wade wasn’t listening, even though Peter was. Wade was too busy smiling at Peter and watching him tinker around with scraps.
Once the meeting was over (Peter assumed it was over, because Bruce had stormed out, and Thor was now trying figure out how to eat the doughnuts Wade had brought) Wade turned back to him with a cheeky grin.
“So baby, now that all that stuffy business is over, howsabout we go out for some grub! As you can see by the god currently stuffing his face, I have great food taste. I’d love to take you out and treat you well, baby.”
Peter smiled looking at him and lowering his voice. “I thought I was cooking tonight? I bought ingredients yesterday.”
“They’ll stay good for one more night Petey, let’s eat out tonight! Now that you’ve got a high-tech job, I think we should celebrate!”
Peter snorted and set down his screwdriver. “We can’t go out, Aunt May is visiting tomorrow remember? The house is a total mess hun.”
Wade pouted and tugged on Peter’s sleeve like he did when he was trying to get his own way. Even after a couple of years, Peter still couldn’t resist it.
“Fine, if you go home right now, and vacuum, we can go out for dinner.” Peter leaned closer and dropped his voice even lower, just the way he knew Wade liked. “And then we can get cozy in bed with dessert and watch the next episode of whatever show you want.”
Wade moaned and wrapped his arms around Peter’s shoulders whispering into his ear “This is why I married you.”
Peter made a mock-offended sound. “Wade, I married you. Now go vacuum, please.”

Wade was standing on the sidelines, next to the one and only Captain America, ogling at his husband’s ass in tight spandex. No matter how many times he woke up next to Peter, his sweet ass still blew Wade away.
“Good god, that is a sweet goddamn ass. Oh, bless.” He watched as Peter flipped in and out of buildings, being the first part of their four-part attack plan against some bad guy. Wade wasn’t really listening, he was only there to make sure Peter was safe, and to watch his amazing body.
Steve looked back at him with a frown. Wade rolled his eyes.
“C'mon Cap! I know you’re all about righteousness and whatever, but don’t tell me you don’t sometimes have a peek! It’s natural man, every red-blooded male does it yo!”
Wade ignored the skeptical look the hero gave him and clapped him on the back. “Nothing is as good as Spidey’s ass, though, by god. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful, and I doubt I ever will.”
Steve looked uncomfortable, shifting his shield in his hand.
“I don’t appreciate that kind of crude conversation. Aren’t you…married.”
“Oh yeah! I’m so married! Married hard!” Wade ripped off his glove and showed his ring for emphasis. Peter and Wade had bought it together, and for once, looking down at his rumpled skin actually made him feel proud. The gold nestled there reminded him of Peter’s vows, of his promises to love and cherish him, every part of him, even the parts that Wade didn’t like.
The memory made Wade’s heart squeeze and made him smile goofily. When he looked back up, Cap was giving him an incredibly strange look. Wade didn’t really care.
Peter landed on the wall next to wades head, signaling the second phase of their plan. Cap sprung into action, diving into the battle as Wade moved over to scrape his husband off the wall.
Peter laughed, swinging around him before noticing his bare hand.

“What’s this then?” Peter challenged with a smile. “A wedding ring? We’ve been rendezvousing this whole time and you’re married? I can’t believe it.”
“Yes, it’s true. I’m married to the most beautiful, funny and smart man in all the world! He has the most bangin’ bod, well, second only to you.”
Peter snickered, taking the moment alone to twine his fingers with Wade’s and play with the ring.
“He sounds like the luckiest guy in the world.”
“He will be tonight. I’m making pasta.”
Peter laughed, patting his head as Wade put his glove back on. “Well, I’m jealous. And busy. If we keep trapezing like this we are going to get found out.”
“I like how taboo this is baby.” Wade said, wiggling his eyebrows, “What do you say, after this, do you wanna get out of here? Go somewhere a little more private? We can have a bath together? There will be wine and Ben and Jerry’s.”
Peter smiled, placing a chaste kiss on Wade’s mouth before climbing up the wall. “Sweetie, you had me at bath.”
