I love playing with my overdramatic friend.
Having a pocket lucio is not the same as a mercy or an ana…

I have 100% confidence that I would flunk a lie detector test. I get flustered when people ask me ANYTHING in a pointed manner, even if it’s basic stuff that I could answer without thinking. Just WATCHING people take a lie detector test makes my heart race.

By the end of it all, the cops would be convinced that I’m either lying about everything including my identity, or that I need a psych consult.

I was just doing a sample MBTI test and one of the questions that came up was "You often contemplate the complexity of life" and I felt like it was just screaming Dan's name haha

I got a succulent, I'm not sure what type it is but it's really soft is it okay to touch it

If you’re gonna touch it, I’d start with just one leaf mainly as a test, be gentle with it. Also try not to block it from the light too much. You should look up bear paw succulent and see if that looks familiar otherwise it might be a panda succulent

It's Official

I just got the call from my OB office with my blood test results. I’m officially pregnant. They were also extremely happy with my progesterone levels. With PCOS and the fact that I’m obese, that was a definite worry. My husband is officially over the moon now that we’ve gotten the positive from a doctor.

Now I just have to pass the time until April 24th whenever we get to see our little Jellybean for the first time.

Luckily I was also cleared for the gym, since I don’t have a history of anything other than the fact that I don’t ovulate. So hopefully Husband A and I can still keep up a pretty decent regiment and not worry. My goal is to only gain the weight I’m supposed to gain. Of course, that’s easy for me to say whenever I’m having my first experience with morning sickness. We’ll see if that still holds up when the cravings kick in.

I hope you all are doing fantastic today.

I sometimes wonder if hiring committees know that candidates often have full-time jobs to you know, like, eat, pay rent, get experience, etc…

Like, really, I’ve already spent the better part of a week’s worth of work to create my application materials, and now you’re asking me to write a personal statement and create 2 syllabi for a week from today?

Should I just tell my boss I can’t do anything for her this whole upcoming year while I apply to stuff? I’m sure she won’t mind.

It’s a 3 and 3 non-tenure track teaching gig, so I guess this is just a test to see if I can work all day and all night for a week straight and still be able to interact with other human beings…
