Can we all just agree that more stories with Tony being awesome with kids should exist

I mean, c'mon, the man is basically a child himself, especially when it comes to Science.

Tony absconding with middle schoolers who are at SI on a field trip and taking them down to R&D to play with robots and lasers (The teacher is panicked. Pepper just rolls her eyes and goes down there to drag them back, knowing that Tony will probably just do this again).

Tony volunteering at a science camp for underprivileged kids (it’s a poorly kept secret that he is the anonymous donor that kept the science and robotics programs running at several schools in New York). He takes DUM-E with him and the kids adore the robot.

Tony quietly starting a foundation for kids who come from abusive homes, pouring his heart and soul into planning events for the kids to make them feel accepted and loved by the volunteers (he denies any involvement but Pepper and Rhodey know better).

Just…Tony loving and supporting kids and trying to make sure that they grow up better than he did.

Since we saw Uncle Grandpa did a major crossover with all the old and new cartoons, I thought I could share the promo and bumpers from 2004-2007 known as the CN City era.

what if marvel did little “shorts” before their movies, like disney and pixar do.

and we could see a happy fun little three minute movie of domestic avenger life, like steve taking bucky to disney world for the first time, or darcy and jane dragging thor to the mall on a shopping spree but he ends up working it in every outfit he tries on, or clint and natasha getting really into a heated game of paintball but you don’t realize it’s paintball until the very end when natasha shoots him and you hear him groaning and see a giant splat of bright pink paint on his chest.

consider this for a prompt: the team is in the lounge, post practice, just lazing around and doing nothing; the tv is on; no one is really paying attention when andrew suddenly turns rigid; deep breaths; unfocused eyes; the reporter is relaying a shocking revelation about a man abusing the foster kids in his care; hisfacehisfacehisfacetheyareshowinghisface (-i cannot tell why my mind is such an angsty bitch but here we are)

(this is a specific and excellent prompt and I’ve been anxiously awaiting its place in line <3)

He’s boneless when he climbs out of the shower, feet tender on the glossy tile, breath sitting high and tight in his chest. Neil likes pacing through his routine after practice, adrenaline relaxing its grip on him finger by finger, change-rooms echoing and empty. He strings his wet hair up in a fresh bandana and shrugs his armbands up over flushed, shower-damp forearms. He lets the practice pull at his muscles and drafts new line-ups and drills in his head.

His teammates are back in the lounge, dotting the furniture, all of their aggression leached out of them, and he feels joy rip his chest like popped stitches. Good feelings are always more brutal than bad ones, he’s come to understand. Stronger, harsher.

He gets a round of raised hands and snappy greetings when he walks in, mostly lost in the rustle of plastic bags as Wymack and Abby unload sandwiches onto an overcrowded table.

Wymack licks stray sauce off of his thumb and points at Neil with his other hand. “Come pretend you’re civilized and eat at the table. I don’t want ranch on my couches again.”

Neil shrugs and pulls a chair out at the head of the table. Matt winks up at him, and the rest of the foxes pass wrapped and pressed sandwiches down the line. They chat and rustle, Aaron snaps for serviettes until Wymack smacks his hand away, Kevin eats his sandwich with a knife and fork. Everything smells like tangy pesto and sweet fresh bread.

“Get Andrew over here, will you?” Wymack asks distractedly. Neil glances over at Andrew, installed on the couch with his back towards them. His hair has been bleaching in the sun recently, and he’s easily the brightest thing in the room.

“Andrew,” he calls, accepting his own sandwich when it’s waved in front of him, distracted from the back of Andrew’s head.

“You really put an effort in,” Nicky teases, rolling his eyes.

“I’m not moving him if he doesn’t want to be moved,” Neil replies, unconcerned. His food is warm in his hands, chicken and cranberries and cheese peeking out of brown bread and wax wrapping.

“That’s bullshit,” Matt says, mouth full. “You know you could.”

“I don’t know why you still think I have that kind of power.”

“Uhh maybe because he does impossible favours for you? And like. Kisses your face when we’re not looking? I dunno, just a thought,” Dan says sarcastically, peeling onions out of her sandwich.

“Andrew,” Neil repeats, exasperated. When he looks over again Andrew hasn’t moved, fixed and steady as always. His shoulders are moving fast though, breath coming hard enough that Neil can hear it from across the room. His stomach throbs, intuitive and scared.

So these are my very special boys who are both rescues off the streets! I love them very, very much which is why I have to stop being selfish and do the right thing by them.

My family is in a bit of a pickle that involves wrongful eviction and probably racism in some way. Anyway thing is we have a new home but the place doesn’t accept ANY pets at all. To make matters even more slightly desperate we have to move out but June 1st!

Now I need someone to temporarily Foster BOTH my cats together for a while. I’m talking like year or so. So if you really love cats with personality and live in SoCal’s Inglewood, Gardena, or even LA area would you be willing to give these loving boys a home???

I’m totally paying for all their expenses like food, litter, toys, treats, etc. All I need on your part is to love and care for them with regular check ins to be sure they are okay. Cause uhh these cats are like my life yo.

  • Pixel: White and Black pretty boy who sleeps a lot. He’s a chill cat that loves two things chili and me in that order. Enjoys chasing things and rubbing against black clothes
  • Pneuma/8-Bit:Gray and white screaming baby who eats Pixels food. Screams a lot when he thinks you’re not paying attention to him. Probably doesn’t know his name.

Both are super loving and enjoy cuddles soooo much! They are very shy tho and take a bit of time to warm up to new people. Just give them time, space, and food to adjust then they won’t leave you alone. Also good with kids!! Like super good?? Pixel is the best with kids.

So yeah that’s what’s up right now! I’m a little bit in constant distress over this cause I really love my cats a lot and just want what’s best for them

headcanon that one of percy and piper’s shared interests is 90′s and early 00′s cartoons bc that’s mainly what both their childhoods were all about: percy grew up with an abusive stepfather and piper with an absent dad. those hours they got to spend in front of the tv and forget about their lives for a while were very precious to them, and they bonded over their love for those memories

the signs as cartoon cartoons

aries - powerpuff girls
taurus - the grim adventures of billy and mandy
gemini - hi hi puffy ami yumi show
cancer - sheep in the big city
leo - i am weasel
virgo - dexter’s laboratory

scorpio - johnny bravo
sagittarius - courage, the cowardly dog
capricorn - codename: kids next door
aquarius - evil con carne
pisces - foster home for imaginary friends

Alex Hirsch's words at the "Animation Game Changers" panel, CTN Expo 2016
  • <p> <b>Hirsch:</b> [...] I mean, it's so amazing to be at this panel right now, cause it's like: "Oh, let's interview the giants [Butch Hartman, Craig McCracken, Lauren Faust], and now let's interview the ants standing on their shoulders [himself and Rebecca Sugar]". Like, the reason I knew at school that making a show was something you could do was because when I was in high school I was watching shows like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Fairly Odd Parents, Invader Zim, whatever-- name it... and all of these were people who, you know, not that long ago had also been students, who then pitched something and who made it. So they had cut with a machette, you know, the path through the jungle, and it was there.<p/><b></b> And the weird thing to me when I was at college was that nobody-- most of the people I was friends with, they didn't care. I was like "guys, there's a path, through this dark jungle, to running your own show!" and they were like [funny voice] "yeah, but I wanna design a prop for Pixar."<p/><b></b> [laughter]<p/><b></b> And like, they didn't think of it as something cool, as if...<p/><b>Tony Bancroft:</b> 'cuz it was easier, is that why?<p/><b>Hirsch:</b> I mean, it still-- there's a bit of that persp-- I think people think that Feature[ film]s are prestigious and that TV is, I mean, you know. Just look at... Moana's got the main room and it's, like-- you guys could be there, listening to some guy say like: "Uhh yeah, here's an anecdote about the Rock. I met him. He's nice." WHO CARES?! [motions towards Butch Hartman, Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust] These people shaped Animation History!<p/></p>

The shock of the exy racquet crashing into Neil’s stomach was secondary to the shock that came from seeing Andrew Spear again.  While his lungs screamed for air, his brain screamed for an escape.  To run.  And never stop running again.

The edges of his vision turned as black as the shirt Andrew wore the first time they’d met those few years ago.  It had been a startlingly warm day, aided by the fact that Nathaniel and his mother had just migrated south again from Montreal.  California was everything and nothing that Nathaniel, no, Chris, had expected.  It was hot, and there was the smell of salt in the air from the Pacific Ocean – that Chris had known would be there.  He hadn’t counted on people being so open.  Maybe that’s why he was so drawn to Andrew, a spot of darkness against the ever sunny sky.  Andrew had never been an easy read.

The first time Andrew spoke to him, it was because he had gotten into a fight with a teacher.  Neil had left the classroom at the end of the day with his head down, hugging his books close to his body.  He didn’t know how long he’d stay here, but the fact that his mother had let him attend school was a good sign that they’d be in California for a while.  Still it wasn’t a good idea to make friends or have ties here.  Nobody should remember his face.

“You know,” Neil had heard him say as he passed a tree on the edge of the school’s property, “For someone who’s trying to keep a low profile you sure do love to get in a fight.”

He turned and came face to face with the blonde.  Andrew hadn’t mastered the look of complete apathy yet and his eyes revealed the tiny spark of interest Neil had put there.

“For someone who’s barely four feet tall you sure do love antagonizing people,” Neil responded.

I think gay themed series like Glee, The Fosters, Eyewitness, Skam, Modern Family; help kids, teens and even adults to understand that being gay isn’t bad at all, that the only important thing is love ♥🦄
—  A lover of love

oh hey heres an old picture I never posted

I’d like to think that Krista and Gregor would be those really weird “opposites attract” types of friends. He’s always encouraging her to exercise, she’s always playing video games, no one knows why they’re friends

Cartoon Network Forever

Passion and Assassins, a double feature of two Sondheim musicals that have never been performed together before. Performed at The Theatre Company of Bryan/College Station in June, 2017. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the show.

I played John Hinckley Jr. in Assassins, and one of the soldiers in Passion. In addition, I designed the set, which completely transformed within 10 minutes at intermission every night to form two completely different sets.

Is there “Eyewitness” AU for klance? I mean, gay kid in the foster family, into motors and into his friend- who doesn’t want to come in terms with his atrraction toward him… Both of them entangled in a crime. It fits, I think?
